Fig. 1 illustrates a block diagram of some embodiments of a cloud storage platform of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 1, the cloud storage platform 1 includes: the system comprises a dump video ID acquisition module 11, a dump video downloading module 12, an on-demand video ID acquisition module 13 and an on-demand video uploading module 14.
The unloading video ID obtaining module 11 obtains the video ID needing unloading from the VOD platform. For example, the user specifies a video to be transferred on the vod platform, and the vod platform sends the corresponding video ID to the video ID obtaining module 11. The video ID obtaining module 11 may store each video ID to be transferred and generate an ID list, so as to provide the ID list to the user for selecting a video desired to be requested.
The unloading video downloading module 12 downloads and stores the corresponding video from the vod platform according to the video ID to be unloaded. For example, the dump video downloading module 12 may store the video to be dumped in a cloud storage space on the cloud storage platform 1 designated by the user. Therefore, the mass storage space of the cloud storage platform independent of the video-on-demand platform can be used for storing the video, so that the storage space of the video-on-demand platform can be saved, and the video concerned by the user can be stored for a long time.
The on-demand video ID obtaining module 13 sends an ID list generated from video IDs that need to be transferred to the video-on-demand platform, and receives an on-demand video ID specified by the user in the ID list from the video-on-demand platform. For example, after receiving a user on-demand task sent by the video-on-demand platform, the cloud storage platform 1 sends the ID list to the video-on-demand platform, and the user may specify a video ID that the user wants to play on the video from the ID list. The vod platform sends the vod ID to the vod ID obtaining module 13. Therefore, information interaction between the video-on-demand platform and the cloud storage platform which are independent of each other can be achieved through the ID list, video service is provided for users at any time by combining the two platforms, and user experience is improved.
The on-demand video uploading module 14 uploads the video corresponding to the on-demand video ID to the video-on-demand platform. For example, the on-demand video uploading module 14 may find a corresponding cloud storage space in the cloud storage platform 1 according to the user ID initiating the on-demand task, and then find a video corresponding to the on-demand video ID from the cloud storage space and send the video to the video-on-demand platform. The on-demand video uploading module 14 may upload a video corresponding to the on-demand video ID to the video-on-demand platform in a source return manner.
In order to realize resource integration and advantage complementation of the cloud storage platform and the video-on-demand platform which are independent of each other, the video-on-demand platform needs to be configured correspondingly according to the cloud storage platform in the above embodiment. In one embodiment, a video-on-demand platform may be configured according to FIG. 2.
FIG. 2 illustrates a block diagram of some embodiments of a video-on-demand platform of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 2, the vod platform 2 includes: a dump video ID sending module 21, a dump video sending module 22, an on-demand video ID sending module 23 and an on-demand video receiving module 24.
The unloading video ID sending module 21 sends the video ID which needs unloading and is specified by the user to the cloud storage platform. The unloading video sending module 22 sends the video corresponding to the video ID to be unloaded to the cloud storage platform.
The on-demand video ID sending module 23 receives an ID list from the cloud storage platform, where the ID list is generated for a video ID that the cloud storage platform transfers as needed, and sends an on-demand video ID specified by a user in the ID list to the cloud storage platform.
In one embodiment, the on-demand video ID sending module 23 searches for the corresponding video on the video-on-demand platform according to the on-demand video ID. If the corresponding video is not found, it indicates that the video has been deleted from the vod platform 2, in which case the on-demand video ID may be sent to the cloud storage platform. If the corresponding video is found, the corresponding video can be directly provided for the user. Therefore, unnecessary data interaction between platforms can be reduced, and communication resources are saved.
The on-demand video receiving module 24 receives a video corresponding to the on-demand video ID from the cloud storage platform. The on-demand video receiving module 24 may receive a video corresponding to the on-demand video ID from the cloud storage platform in a source return manner.
In the embodiment, the corresponding data interaction modules are arranged on the cloud storage platform and the video-on-demand platform which are independent of each other, and the information interconnection of the two platforms is realized by arranging the dump video ID list. By combining the functional advantages of the two platforms, the video content can be stored for a long time while the storage space of the video-on-demand platform is saved, so that the user experience is improved.
The cloud storage platform 1 and the video on demand platform 2 in the above embodiments constitute the video playing system of the present disclosure. The video playing system is described in detail below with reference to fig. 3 through a data interaction process between the user, the cloud storage platform, and the video-on-demand platform.
Fig. 3 illustrates a schematic diagram of some embodiments of video playback systems of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 3, the video playback system 3 includes a cloud storage platform 1 and a video playback platform 2. The video playback platform 2 interacts with the set-top box of the user A, B and C, for example, via a general/personal television EPG (Electronic Program Guide).
Users A, B and C may designate cloud storage space A, B and C as respective cloud storage spaces in cloud storage platform 1 for dumping video content of respective interest. For example, the user may input an address of the cloud storage platform 1, and bind the cloud storage space by an account number, a password, or a user ID. The cloud storage space can also be bound in a mode of scanning the two-dimensional code, so that the steps of inputting user information are reduced.
Users A, B and C can view and select videos that need to be offloaded in a general/personal tv EPG through their respective set-top boxes. The unloading video ID sending module 21 sends the video ID to be unloaded to the cloud storage platform 1. The cloud storage platform 1 receives the dump video ID through the dump video ID obtaining module 11, and generates an ID list.
The unloading video downloading module 12 downloads the video to be unloaded from the unloading video sending module 22 in the video on demand platform 2 according to the unloading video ID. For example, the dump video sending module 22 may obtain the video to be dumped from the central node content storage system for downloading by the dump video downloading module 12. The unloading video downloading module 12 stores the video to be unloaded into the cloud storage space corresponding to the user according to the user ID initiating the unloading task.
In this way, the video-on-demand platform 2 can forward the video concerned by the user to the cloud storage platform 1 for the user to request later, and does not need to occupy the storage space of the video-on-demand platform to store the video concerned by the user for a long time.
In one embodiment, each user can initiate a video-on-demand task in the television interface of the general/personal television EPG. The vod platform 2 may search for the corresponding video in the content storage system of the central node. If the video exists, the video is directly played for the user. If the video does not exist, the video-on-demand platform 2 sends a video-on-demand task to the cloud storage platform 1.
The cloud storage platform 1 sends the previously stored ID list to the on-demand video ID sending module 23 through the on-demand video ID obtaining module 13. The user can select the on-demand video ID from the ID list in the tv interface of the universal/personal tv EPG, and send the on-demand video ID to the on-demand video ID obtaining module 13 through the on-demand video ID sending module 23.
The cloud storage platform 1 acquires the on-demand video from the corresponding cloud storage space of the user initiating the on-demand task through the on-demand video uploading module 14 and sends the on-demand video to the video on-demand platform 2. The video-on-demand platform 2 stores the on-demand video into the video-on-demand platform 2 through the on-demand video receiving module 24, and then provides the user initiating the on-demand task.
In one embodiment, the on-demand video receiving module 24 may store the on-demand video in a central node content storage system, which then plays the on-demand video for the user. For example, the central node content storage system may distribute the on-demand video to the edge distribution nodes and then play the on-demand video for the user through a general/personal television EPG.
Fig. 4 illustrates a flow diagram of some embodiments of a cloud storage method of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 4, the method includes: step 410, acquiring the ID of the video needing to be transferred and generating an ID list; and step 420, downloading and storing the video needing to be transferred.

As shown in fig. 5, the method includes: step 510, receiving an ID list; step 520, sending the on-demand video ID; step 530, receive the on-demand video.
In step 510, an ID list is received from the cloud storage platform, where the ID list is generated by the cloud storage platform according to the video ID that needs to be transferred and is specified by the user on the video-on-demand platform.
In one embodiment, before proceeding to step 510, a determination may be made as to whether on-demand video is already stored in the vod platform. In particular, this can be achieved by the method of fig. 6.
FIG. 6 illustrates a flow chart of further embodiments of the video-on-demand method of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 6, in step 601, the corresponding video is searched for in the vod platform according to the vod video ID.
In step 602, it is determined whether a corresponding video is found in the vod platform. If so, providing the corresponding video for the user (step 603), and if not, initiating a video-on-demand task to the cloud storage platform (step 604).
After receiving the vod task, the cloud storage platform may send an ID list to the vod platform, and after receiving the ID list (step 510), the vod platform may complete the vod task through steps 520 and 530 in fig. 5.
In step 520, the on-demand video ID specified by the user from the ID list through the video-on-demand platform is sent to the cloud storage platform.
In step 530, a video corresponding to the on-demand video ID is received from the cloud storage platform. For example, a video corresponding to the on-demand video ID may be received from the cloud storage platform by a back-to-source manner.
In the embodiment, the corresponding data interaction modules are arranged on the cloud storage platform and the video-on-demand platform which are independent of each other, and the information interconnection of the two platforms is realized by arranging the dump video ID list.
