Abstract
The invention relates to a roller module with a touch sensing mechanism, which comprises a roller body, a touch sensing element and a coding element, wherein the roller body is provided with a plurality of contact points; the roller body is pivoted with a shell, and a containing cavity is arranged in the middle of the roller body; the touch sensing element is arranged in the accommodating cavity and is provided with a connecting part and a fixing part, the connecting part is pivoted with the roller body, and the fixing part is connected with the shell; the coding element is connected with the roller body, is positioned on one side of the roller body far away from the fixing part and rotates along with the roller body; the touch sensing element can generate a position identification signal according to the position of the touch roller body; therefore, the effect of randomly switching different pre-adjusted functional modes is achieved.

Technical Field
The invention relates to an electronic product with a roller module with a touch sensing mechanism.
Background
The roller module is widely applied to electronic products as a function adjusting key, and the roller module can be used as a volume adjusting key or a screen brightness adjusting key, so that the volume adjustment or the screen brightness adjustment can be performed on the electronic products only by rolling the roller body of the roller module.
However, the conventional electronic products are generally multifunctional electronic products, and therefore a plurality of function adjustment keys are often disposed in the electronic products, but the electronic products are gradually developed to be light and thin due to the convenience of carrying, and thus the space for disposing the function adjustment keys is not large.
Therefore, a plurality of roller modules used as function adjusting keys are usually disposed together or arranged in parallel in the same space, and one roller module corresponds to one function adjusting encoder, so that when a plurality of roller modules with function adjusting functions are designed or installed in the same space or area, the situations of complex structure and difficult assembly occur, and improvement is needed.

The present invention is directed to an electronic product having a roller module with a touch sensing mechanism.
In a preferred embodiment, the present invention provides an electronic product having a roller module with a touch sensing mechanism, which is installed in a housing, the roller module including a roller body, a touch sensing element and a coding element; the roller body is pivoted with the shell, and a containing cavity is arranged in the middle of the roller body; the touch sensing element is arranged in the accommodating cavity, one end of the touch sensing element is provided with a connecting part, the other end of the touch sensing element is provided with a fixing part, the connecting part is pivoted with the roller body, and the fixing part penetrates out of the roller body and is connected with the shell; the coding element is connected with the roller body, is positioned on one side of the roller body away from the fixing part and rotates along with the roller body; the touch sensing element can generate a position identification signal according to the position of touching the roller body; therefore, the effect of switching different preset functional modes at will is achieved.
Preferably, the outer surface of the roller body is provided with a first touch area, a second touch area and a third touch area, the first touch area is adjacent to the fixing portion, the third touch area is adjacent to the connecting portion, and the second touch area is located between the first touch area and the third touch area; preferably, the middle portion of the touch sensing element has a sensing portion, and the sensing portion is disposed corresponding to the first touch region, the second touch region and the third touch region; preferably, the sensing part is located between the connecting part and the fixing part; preferably, the first touch area, the second touch area or the third touch area is touched, so that the position identification signal of the touch sensing element can be generated through the sensing part; therefore, the effects of simplifying the structure, saving the material cost, simplifying the assembly procedure and saving the assembly cost are achieved.

Detailed Description
Please refer to fig. 1 and 2, which are schematic diagrams and cross-sectional views of a roller with a touch sensing mechanism according to the present invention; the wheel module 100 with touch sensing mechanism is installed on a housing 90 of an electronic product, which may be a mouse, a remote controller, a sound box or a CD player, but not limited thereto; the roller module 100 includes a roller body 10, a touch sensing element 20, a coding element 30, a bearing 40, a support frame 50 and a fixing element 60
The housing 90 has an upper cover 91 and a lower cover 92, the upper cover 91 covers the lower cover 92, an accommodating space 93 is formed between the upper cover 91 and the lower cover 92, the upper cover 91 is provided with an opening 911, and the opening 911 and the accommodating space 93 are communicated with each other.
The roller module 100 is installed in the accommodating space 93, so that part of the exterior of the roller body 10 can be exposed from the accommodating space 93 through the opening 911, and the user's fingers can conveniently roll the roller body 10.
The roller body 10 is pivotally connected to the lower cover 92, wherein the roller body 10 can be pivotally connected to the lower cover 92 through a pair of supporting frames, the bottoms of the supporting frames are respectively fixed to the lower cover 92 and located in the accommodating space 93, and the supporting frames can be located on two sides of the roller body 10, so that two sides of the roller body 10 are respectively pivotally connected to the supporting frames, and the roller body 10 is located between the supporting frames, but not limited thereto, the roller body 10 can also be pivotally connected to the lower cover 92 or the housing 90 in other manners.
The touch sensing element 20 is installed in the cavity 11 of the roller body 10 and has a connecting portion 21, a sensing portion 22 and a fixing portion 23, the connecting portion 21 and the fixing portion 23 are respectively located at two ends of the touch sensing element 20, the sensing portion 22 is located between the connecting portion 21 and the fixing portion 23, the connecting portion 21 is adjacent to the third touch region 15, and the fixing portion 23 is adjacent to the first touch region 13; the sensing portion 22 of the touch sensing element 20 is disposed corresponding to the first touch region 13, the second touch region 14 and the third touch region 15; when the user touches or rolls the first touch area 13, the second touch area 14 or the third touch area 15, the sensing portion 22 can detect the position where the user touches the roller body 10 to generate a position identification signal, so that the touch sensing element 20 can generate the position identification signal through the sensing portion 22; the fixing part 23 penetrates out from the accommodating cavity 11 of the roller body 10 to the through hole 12; the touch sensing device 20 is a capacitive touch sensor, a capacitive touch sensing circuit board or a capacitive touch sensing module.
The encoding element 30 is located on a side of the roller body 10 away from the fixing portion 23, the encoding element 30 is connected to the roller body 10, the encoding element 30 rotates along with the roller body 10, and the encoding element 30 is an encoder.
The bearing 40 is installed in the cavity 11 of the roller body 10, the bearing 40 is located in the cavity 11 and located at one side adjacent to the encoding element 30, one side of the bearing 40 is pivoted with the roller body 10 and the other side is connected with the connecting portion 21 of the touch sensing element 20, the connecting portion 21 is located at one side of the bearing 40 far away from the encoding element 30, so that the touch sensing element 20 is pivoted with the roller body 10 through the bearing 40; the bearing 40, the roller body 10, the accommodating cavity 11 and the coding element 30 are the same central shaft; furthermore, a slot 41 is formed on a side of the bearing 40 away from the encoding element 30, and the connecting portion 21 is connected to the bearing 40 by being inserted into the slot 41.
The bottom of the supporting frame 50 is fixed to the lower cover 92, the fixing portion 23 of the touch sensing element 20 penetrates out of the through hole 12 from the accommodating cavity 11 of the roller body 10 to be connected with the supporting frame 50, and the fixing member 60 sequentially penetrates through the fixing portion 23 and the supporting frame 50, so that the fixing portion 23 is fixed to the supporting frame 50 through the fixing member 60; the fixing member 60 is a screw, but not limited thereto.
When the user touches the first touch area 13, the second touch area 14 or the third touch area 15 of the roller body 10, the sensing portion 22 of the touch sensing element 20 detects the position of the user touching the roller body 10, and the sensing portion 22 generates a position identification signal; however, when the sensing portion 22 detects that the user touches the first touch area 13, the position identification signal generated by the sensing portion 22 includes the position information of the first touch area 13, when the user touches the second touch area 14, the position identification signal generated by the sensing portion 22 includes the position information of the second touch area 14, and when the user touches the third touch area 15, the position identification signal generated by the sensing portion 22 includes the position information of the third touch area 15.
When the sensing portion 22 generates the position identification signal, the sensing portion 22 transmits the position identification signal to the electronic product, wherein a first function mode, a second function mode and a third function mode corresponding to the first touch area 13, the second touch area 14 and the third touch area 15 are preset in the electronic product; the first touch area 13 corresponds to a first function mode, the second touch area 14 corresponds to a second function mode, and the third touch area 15 corresponds to a third function mode.
Then, when the control module of the electronic product receives the position identification signal generated from the touch sensing element 20, the electronic product determines, according to the position information included in the position identification signal, which one of the first function mode, the second function mode, or the third function mode the current pre-adjusted function mode is, and finally, when the user rotates the roller body 10 to drive the encoding element 30 to rotate, the encoding element 30 can adjust the actual function value of the pre-adjusted function mode.
When the content of the position identification signal includes the position information of the first touch area 13, the electronic product automatically switches the preset mode of the roller module 100 to the first functional mode; when the content of the position identification signal includes the position information of the second touch area 14, the electronic product automatically switches the preset mode of the roller module 100 to the second function mode; when the content of the position identification signal includes the position information of the third touch area 15, the electronic product automatically switches the preset mode of the roller module 100 to the third functional mode, so that the preset functional mode can be switched according to the position of the roller body 10 touched by the user.
In addition, please refer to fig. 3, which is a usage status diagram of the wheel module with touch sensing mechanism according to the present invention, wherein the first function mode is a volume adjustment function key, but not limited thereto; the second function mode is a microphone volume adjustment function key of an earphone mode, but not limited thereto; the third function mode is a function key for adjusting screen brightness, but not limited to this; therefore, when the user touches the first touch area 13 and rolls the roller body 10, the roller module 100 can be switched to a volume adjustment function key to adjust the volume of the speaker built in or connected to the electronic product; when the user touches the second touch area 14 and rolls the roller body 10, the roller module 100 can be switched to the microphone volume adjustment function key of the earphone mode, so as to adjust the sound volume of the earphone microphone externally connected to the electronic product; when the user touches the third touch area 15 and rolls the roller body 10, the roller module 100 can be switched to a screen brightness adjustment function key, so as to adjust the screen brightness of a screen built in or externally connected to the electronic product.
In addition, since the bearing 40, the roller body 10, the accommodating cavity 11 and the encoding element 30 are the same central axis, when the roller body 10 is rotated by a user, the eccentric condition can be avoided, so as to achieve the effect of prolonging the service life of the roller module 100.
Moreover, since the touch sensing element 20 is only installed in the cavity 11 of the roller body 10, the effect of arbitrarily switching the pre-adjusted function mode can be achieved, thereby further simplifying the structure, saving the material cost, simplifying the assembly procedure, and saving the assembly cost.
In addition, the touch sensing element 20 is fixed to the supporting frame 50 through the fixing member 60, and the touch sensing element 20 is pivotally connected to the roller body 10 through the bearing 40, when the touch sensing element 20 fails, the fixing portion 23 of the touch sensing element 20 is detached from the supporting frame 50 only by releasing the fixing member 60, and then the connecting portion 21 is pulled out from the slot 41 of the bearing 40, so that the failed touch sensing element 20 can be detached from the roller module 100, and then a new touch sensing element 20 is replaced and installed on the roller module 100, thereby achieving the effect of easily replacing or maintaining the touch sensing element 20.
According to the above description, firstly, the touch sensing element 20 is disposed in the roller body 10, so as to achieve the effect of being able to arbitrarily switch between different preset function modes, and further have the effects of simplifying the structure, saving the material cost, simplifying the assembly procedure and saving the assembly cost; secondly, the bearing 40, the roller body 10, the accommodating cavity 11 and the coding element 30 are the same central axis, so that the roller module 100 has the effect of prolonging the service life; thirdly, the touch sensing element 20 can be conveniently replaced or maintained by the arrangement of the bearing 40 and the fixing member 60.

Claims (15)
1. An electronic product having a roller module with a touch sensing mechanism, the electronic product having a plurality of function modes, the electronic product comprising:
a housing; and
a roller module mounted in the housing, the roller module comprising:
the roller body is pivoted with the shell, a containing cavity is arranged in the middle of the roller body, a plurality of touch areas are arranged on the outer surface of the roller body, and the touch areas correspond to the plurality of functional modes respectively;
the touch sensing element is arranged in the accommodating cavity, one end of the touch sensing element is provided with a connecting part, the other end of the touch sensing element is provided with a fixing part, the connecting part is pivoted with the roller body, and the fixing part penetrates out of the roller body and is connected with the shell; and
the coding element is connected with the roller body, is positioned on one side of the roller body away from the fixed part and rotates along with the roller body;
the touch sensing element can generate a position identification signal according to the positions of the plurality of touch areas of the touched roller body, the position identification signal can contain position information of the touched touch areas, when the electronic product receives the position identification signal generated by the touch sensing element, the electronic product can determine which mode of the plurality of function modes the current pre-adjusted function mode is according to the position information contained in the position identification signal, and when the roller body drives the coding element to rotate, the coding element adjusts the actual function value of the pre-adjusted function mode.
2. The electronic product of claim 1, wherein the plurality of touch areas includes a first touch area, a second touch area and a third touch area, the first touch area is adjacent to the fixed portion, the third touch area is adjacent to the connecting portion, and the second touch area is located between the first touch area and the third touch area.
3. The electronic product according to claim 2, wherein the middle portion of the touch sensing element has a sensing portion disposed corresponding to the first touch area, the second touch area and the third touch area.
4. The electronic product according to claim 3, wherein the sensing portion is located between the connecting portion and the fixing portion.
5. The electronic product according to claim 3, wherein touching the first touch area, the second touch area or the third touch area enables the position recognition signal of the touch sensing element to be generated by the sensing portion.
6. The electronic product as claimed in claim 5, further comprising a bearing, the bearing is installed in the cavity, one side of the bearing is pivotally connected to the roller body and located at a side of the cavity adjacent to the encoding device, the connecting portion is fixed to a side of the bearing away from the encoding device, and the touch sensing device is pivotally connected to the roller body through the bearing.
7. The electronic product according to claim 6, wherein a slot is formed on a side of the bearing away from the encoding element, and the connecting portion is connected to the bearing by being inserted into the slot.
8. The electronic product according to claim 6, wherein the touch sensing element is disposed in the cavity.
9. The electronic product according to claim 6, wherein the bearing, the roller body, the cavity and the coding element are the same central axis.
10. The electronic product of claim 6, further comprising a supporting frame, wherein the bottom of the supporting frame is fixed to the housing, the fixing portion is fixed to the supporting frame, and the fixing portion is fixed to the housing through the supporting frame.
11. The electronic product of claim 10, wherein a through hole is formed in a side of the roller body adjacent to the supporting frame, the through hole is communicated with the cavity, and the fixing portion penetrates through the through hole and is fixed to the supporting frame.
12. The electronic product of claim 11, further comprising a fixing member, wherein the fixing member sequentially penetrates through the fixing portion and the supporting frame, so that the fixing portion is fixed to the supporting frame through the fixing member.
13. The electronic product according to claim 12, wherein the fixing member is a screw.
14. The electronic product of claim 1, wherein the touch sensing element is a capacitive touch sensor.
15. The electronic product according to claim 1, wherein the encoding element is an encoder.
