s101, the client device receives a video recommendation stream including recommendation information of a first video and receives prompt information for playing a second video associated with the first video, wherein the first video and the second video include the same video content segment.
It can be understood that the client device in this step may be a smart phone, or any client device with a video playing function, such as a notebook computer or a tablet computer, or a client device capable of controlling other video playing devices to play videos. The first video and the second video comprise the same video content segment, which means that a video with a certain duration contained in the first video is also contained in the second video, for example, the first video and the second video are both segments of a certain television episode, the first video comprises a segment of video content of a certain episode, and the second video comprises all the video content of the episode; or, the first video and the second video are both segments of a certain tv drama, the first video includes a segment of video content of an mth drama and a segment of video content of an nth drama, and the second video includes all video content of the mth drama, which is not limited in this embodiment as long as both include the same segment of video content.
Specifically, the video recommendation stream in this step may include recommendation information of other videos in addition to the recommendation information of the first video. The recommendation information may be recommended according to a video currently being played by the client device, or may be recommended according to a history of videos watched by the user, which is not specifically limited by the embodiment of the present disclosure.
In addition, the history record of the video watched by the user can include all video watching records of the user, and can also include video watching records of the user within a period of time. Meanwhile, in order to ensure timeliness of video recommendation and save storage space, the history records stored in the client device or the server can be updated periodically or in real time. For example, the history record stored in the client device or the server may be a video watching record of the user within one month, and the video watching record is updated in real time; alternatively, the history record stored in the client device or the server may be a video watching record within three months of the user, and the video watching record is updated every 7 days, but these are also only for illustration and are not a limitation to the technical solution.
S102, the client device generates a display page, wherein the display page is used for simultaneously displaying recommendation information of a first video in the video recommendation stream and playing prompt information of a second video related to the first video.
The display page can comprise a plurality of video recommendation frames which are sequentially arranged, each video recommendation frame is used for displaying recommendation information of one video, and prompt information for playing a second video related to a first video is arranged on the periphery of the video recommendation frame for displaying the recommendation information of the first video.
For example, the presentation page may include a plurality of video recommendation frames sequentially arranged from top to bottom, each video recommendation frame is used to present recommendation information of one video, and the prompt information for playing the second video associated with the first video is arranged around the video recommendation frame (including any one or more of the top, bottom, left, and right sides) used to present recommendation information of the first video.
For another example, the presentation page may include a plurality of video recommendation frames that are sequentially arranged, each video recommendation frame is used to present recommendation information of one video, and the prompt information for playing the second video associated with the first video may be displayed around the video recommendation frame for presenting recommendation information of the first video in a manner of popping up a prompt bar and not blocking the video recommendation frame for presenting recommendation information of the first video. The prompt bar is positioned above a layer of a video recommendation frame for displaying recommendation information of the first video so as to attract the attention of a user.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment of the present disclosure, fig. 2 is a schematic flowchart of another video recommendation method provided in the foregoing embodiment of the present disclosure, and besides step S101 and step S102 in the foregoing embodiment, the following two cases may also be included:
the first case is that the user makes a trigger operation based on the recommendation information of the first video, at this time, the following step S103 is further executed;
the second case is that the user makes a trigger operation based on the prompt information, at which time the following step S104 is further performed.
S103, the client device receives the trigger operation of the recommendation information based on the first video, and plays the first video on the current display page.
Specifically, the user may perform the triggering operation by touching a display screen of the client Device or an external Input Device (Input Device).
The client device sends a first video content request message to the server after receiving the triggering operation of the recommendation information based on the first video, receives the video content of the first video sent by the server, and plays the first video on the current display page.
S104, the client device receives the trigger operation based on the prompt information, and jumps to the playing page of the second video to play the second video.
Specifically, the method for the client device to jump to the playing page of the second video to play the second video may include any one of the following two scenarios:
in the first scenario, if the second video is a single video or a video set including a plurality of sub-videos, the client device starts playing the video content from the start position of the single video or the start position of the first sub-video in the plurality of sub-videos.
This scene-generally applies to the scene where the first video is not playing.
And in a second scene, if the first video is played, the client equipment jumps to a playing page of the second video to play the second video, and plays the video content of the second video matched with the playing progress of the first video.
This second scenario generally applies to the scenario where the first video has been played. It should be noted that, the played first video in this step may refer to a scene in which the first video is completely played, or may refer to a scene in which the first video is partially played, which is not specifically limited in this disclosure.
The matching of the video content of the second video and the playing progress of the first video can mean that the second video accurately continues playing the first video; it may also mean that the second video starts playing from a video unit containing the first video, e.g. the first video is a segment of a 3 rd episode of a certain drama, and the second video comprises all episodes of a certain drama, and the client device may jump to the beginning of the 3 rd episode of the certain drama in the second video to start playing.
In addition, for the case where the first video and the second video include the same video content segment, it may be included that the second video includes all the video content segments of the first video; or, the second video includes both a partial video content segment of the first video.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, a video recommendation stream including recommendation information of a first video is received through a client device, prompt information for playing a second video associated with the first video is received, recommendation information for displaying the first video in the video recommendation stream at the same time is generated, and a display page for playing the prompt information of the second video associated with the first video is played, so that the first video and the second video associated with the first video are recommended for a user at the same time, content of video recommendation is enriched, operation steps of the user are saved, and viewing experience of the user is improved.
Fig. 3 is a schematic flowchart of another video recommendation method provided in an embodiment of the present disclosure, where the method disclosed in the embodiment of the present disclosure is mainly applied to a server, and as shown in fig. 3, the method includes the following steps:
s201, the server generates a video recommendation stream including recommendation information of a first video and generates prompt information for playing a second video related to the first video, wherein the first video and the second video comprise the same video content segment.
Optionally, before step S201 is executed, the server may further obtain identification information of a second video associated with the first video. Specifically, the method for the server to obtain the identification information of the second video associated with the first video may include any one of the following two scenarios:
a third scene, the server sends a video query request message, wherein the video query request message comprises identification information of the first video; the server receives a video query response message including identification information of a second video associated with identification information of the first video.
The third scenario is suitable for a scenario in which the application server and the association relation server are respectively arranged in different server devices. Specifically, the application server sends a video query request message to the association server, and receives a video query response message returned by the association server.
And fourthly, the server acquires the identification information of the second video associated with the identification information of the first video according to the identification information of the first video.
The scene four is applicable to scenes in which video incidence relations are stored in a database module of the server. Specifically, the server may directly obtain, from the database module, the identification information of the second video associated with the identification information of the first video according to the identification information of the first video.
Further, the first video and the second video comprising the same video content segment means that the first video and the second video are associated.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the association relationship between the identification information of the first video and the identification information of the second video may be established in an association relationship server, or may be formed on other devices or by manual operation input, and in this step, it is equivalent to that the association relationship server obtains from other devices or input devices. Specifically, the association relationship between the identification information of the first video and the identification information of the second video is obtained by any one or more of the following possible implementation manners:
firstly, the association relationship comprises that two videos with the same video content segment are respectively used as a first video and a second video according to the video content analysis results of at least two videos so as to obtain the association relationship between the identification information of the first video and the identification information of the second video; specifically, the method may be that a video content analysis device is separately provided, the video content analysis device may be capable of analyzing video content of at least two videos, and obtain two videos having the same video content segment as a first video and a second video, respectively, to obtain an association relationship between identification information of the first video and identification information of the second video, and after obtaining the association relationship between the identification information of the first video and the identification information of the second video, the video content analysis device may send the association relationship to an association relationship server, so as to obtain the association relationship on the association relationship server.
Illustratively, taking the example that the video content includes a first video, a second video and a third video, the video content analysis device analyzes the video content of the first video, the second video and the third video to obtain that the first video and the second video have the same video content segment, the first video and the third video do not have the same video content segment, and the second video and the third video do not have the same video content segment, so that the video content analysis device establishes and stores an association relationship between the identification information of the first video and the identification information of the second video, and sends the association relationship between the identification information of the first video and the identification information of the second video to the association relationship server.
Optionally, the analyzing the at least two video contents to obtain the same video content segment may be specifically performed by performing frame extraction on a video to be analyzed to obtain a plurality of frame images, then extracting a plurality of types of image features of each frame image, where the type of the image features is not limited, and at this time, a plurality of image features capable of representing image features may be obtained; then, determining the video features of the video to be analyzed according to each image feature of the same type of the plurality of frame images of the video to be analyzed, for example, the plurality of image features can be arranged according to the sequence of the corresponding frame images in the video to obtain the video features, so that the plurality of types of video features can be obtained; and finally, performing sequence comparison on the videos to be analyzed according to the obtained various video characteristics to obtain the similarity of the videos to be analyzed, specifically setting a threshold value for the similarity, and considering that the two videos participating in the analysis have the same video content segment only when the similarity is greater than the preset threshold value.
Secondly, the association relationship may be obtained by performing video segmentation on the second video according to a video segmentation technology to obtain an association relationship between the identification information of the first video and the identification information of the second video. That is, in this implementation manner, the video splitting device may be configured to split the video by the video splitting device, for example, the second video is split to obtain the first video, because the first video is a part of the second video, the first video and the second video inevitably have the same video content segment, at this time, an association relationship between the identification information of the first video and the identification information of the second video may be established during splitting, and the video splitting device may send the association relationship to the association relationship server, so as to enable the association relationship server to obtain the association relationship.
For example, taking the second video as movie a as an example, after all video contents of movie a are acquired, in order to meet different playing requirements of a user, video segmentation may be performed on a part of highlight video portions of the second video by using a video segmentation device, so as to obtain the first video. Therefore, the first video and the second video have the same video content segment, and the association relationship between the identification information of the first video and the identification information of the second video can be directly acquired during segmentation and sent to the association relationship server.
Thirdly, the association relationship can be the association relationship between the identification information of the first video and the identification information of the second video, which is input by the first video uploading user, that is, the association relationship between the uploaded video and the existing video resources can be simultaneously input by the video uploading user when the video is uploaded. For example, when a copyright owner of movie a promotes movie a, a part of a highlight is often selected for promotion, and the highlight is also a part of a video content segment of the entire movie a. When the propaganda promotion video is uploaded by the copyright side of the movie a, the association relationship between the identification information of the propaganda promotion video and the identification information of the movie a can be input as above.
Fourthly, the association relationship may be obtained through a video association relationship list, specifically, the association relationship list may be formed on other devices, for example, formed and stored in the above-mentioned video segmentation device; or, the association relation list may be an association relation list drawn manually after a large number of videos are watched manually and video contents are known; or, the association relationship list may be directly obtained by the partner, and after the association relationship list is provided to the association relationship server, the association relationship server obtains the association relationship.
When the association relationship is generated, the positioning information of the same video content segment in the first video and the second video may be recorded together, and when the association relationship is stored, the positioning information of the same video content segment in the first video and the second video may be stored in addition to the association relationship between the identification information of the first video and the identification information of the second video. The positioning information may include, but is not limited to, time information, video frame information, audio frame information, and the like.
S202, the server sends a video recommendation stream including recommendation information of a first video and prompt information of a second video related to the first video to the client device, so that the client device simultaneously displays the recommendation information of the first video in the video recommendation stream and plays the prompt information of the second video related to the first video on a display page.
The video recommendation stream in this step may include recommendation information of other videos in addition to the recommendation information of the first video. The recommendation information may be recommended according to a video currently being played by the client device, or may be recommended according to a history of videos watched by the user, which is not specifically limited by the embodiment of the present disclosure.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment of the present disclosure, fig. 4 is a schematic flowchart of a further video recommendation method provided in the foregoing embodiment of the present disclosure, which may include the following two cases besides step S201 and step S202 in the foregoing embodiment:
the 1 st case is that the user makes a trigger operation based on the recommendation information of the first video, at this time, the following steps S203 and S204 are further performed;
in case 2, the user performs a trigger operation based on the prompt information, and step S205 and step S206 are further performed.
S203, the server acquires a first video content request message sent by the client device after receiving the trigger operation based on the recommendation information of the first video.
S204, the server sends the video content of the first video to the client device.
S205, the server acquires a second video content request message sent by the client device after receiving the trigger operation based on the prompt information.
S206, the server sends the playing page of the second video to the client device to play the second video.
Specifically, the method of step S205 and step S206 may include any one of the following two scenarios:
and fifthly, if the second video is a single video or a video set comprising a plurality of sub-videos, the server sends the video content from the starting position of the single video or the starting position of the first sub-video in the plurality of sub-videos.
The scene five corresponds to the scene one and is suitable for the scene of the first video which is not played. I.e., the second video is replayed from the beginning on the client device.
And a sixth scene, the server acquires the playing progress of the first video and sends the video content of the second video matched with the playing progress of the first video to the client device.
The scene six corresponds to the scene two and is suitable for the played scene of the first video. The played first video in this step may refer to a scene in which the first video is completely played, or may refer to a scene in which the first video is partially played, so that the video content of the second video can be matched with the playing progress of the first video played on the client device, and the video content can be continuously played on the client device.
Specifically, the method for acquiring the playing progress of the first video and sending the video content of the second video matched with the playing progress of the first video to the client device by the server may specifically include:
step 1: and the server determines the positioning information of the playing progress of the first video in the second video according to the playing progress of the first video and the positioning information of the same video content segment in the first video and/or the second video.
Specifically, when a video is played on the client device, the playing progress of the video is interacted between the server and the client device in real time, and for the case that the client device is playing the first video in this embodiment, the playing control module on the server can detect the playing progress of the first video. For the positioning information, it may be stored in the association relation server together with the association relation between the identification information of the first video and the identification information of the second video, and may be obtained by separately sending a positioning information obtaining request, or the video query response message received in the steps of the above embodiment includes the positioning information of the same video content segment in the first video and/or the second video, and at this time, it is not necessary to separately send a positioning information obtaining request. Specifically, the positioning information includes any one or a combination of multiple pieces of time stamp information, video frame information, and audio frame information, or the positioning information may also be any other information capable of implementing a positioning operation, which is not limited in this disclosure.
The time stamp information mainly refers to the time relevance between the same video content segment and the first video and/or the second video; the time stamp information at least comprises a reference time of the same video content segment in the first video and/or the second video, wherein the reference time can be a starting time or an ending time of the video or other time points which can be used as a reference; i.e. when the same video content segment starts in the first video and/or the second video, e.g. the duration of the second video is 30 minutes, the duration of the same video content segment is 2 minutes, and the same video content segment starts from the 15 th minute in the second video. Alternatively, the duration of the first video may be 20 minutes, and the same video content segment is started from the 10 th minute in the first video. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, when the same video content segment is all content segments of the first video, for example, the duration of the first video is also 2 minutes, and the first video starts from the 15 th minute of the second video.
The video frame is used as an important component of the video content, and the positions of the same video content segment in the first video and the second video can also be represented; the video frame information at least comprises a reference video frame of the same video content segment in the first video and/or the second video, wherein the reference video frame can be a starting video frame or an ending video frame of the video frame or other video frames capable of being used as a reference; for example, the total video frame number of the second video is a positive integer M, the total video frame number of the same video content segment is a positive integer N, N is less than or equal to M, and the same video content segment starts from the I-th frame in the second video, I is a positive integer.
Alternatively, the total video frame number of the first video may be a positive integer L, and the same video content segment is started from the jth frame in the first video, J being a positive integer. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, that is, when the same video content segment is all content segments of the first video, for example, the total video frame number of the first video is a positive integer N, the first video also starts from the I-th frame of the second video.
The audio frame is also an important component of the video content, and the positions of the same video content segment in the first video and the second video can also be characterized; the audio frame information at least comprises a reference audio frame of the same video content segment in the first video and/or the second video, wherein the reference audio frame can be a starting audio frame or an ending audio frame of an audio frame or other audio frames capable of serving as a reference; for example, the total audio frame number of the second video is a positive integer M, the total frame number of the same video content segment is a positive integer N, N is less than or equal to M, and the same video content segment starts from the I-th frame in the second video, I is a positive integer.
Alternatively, the total audio frame number of the first video may be a positive integer L, and the same video content segment is started from the jth frame in the first video, J being a positive integer. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, that is, when the same video content segment is all content segments of the first video, for example, the total audio frame number of the first video is a positive integer N, the first video also starts from the I-th frame of the second video.
Step 2: the server determines the video content of the second video matched with the playing progress of the first video based on the positioning information of the playing progress of the first video in the second video.
Taking the second video as an example of the accurate continuous playing of the first video, the duration of the second video is 60 minutes, the duration of the same video content segment is 5 minutes, and the same segment of video content is started from the 10 th minute in the second video, the duration of the first video is 10 minutes, and the same segment of video content is started from the 5 th minute in the first video, when the playing progress of the current first video is 6 minutes, it may be determined that the content of the 1 st minute of the same video content segment is being played, if a continuation is made on the second video, the video content of the second video at the 11 th minute should be played, that is to say at the start time of the first video and at the start time of the second video with the same video content segment, it is possible to deduce when the second video starts playing based on the progress of the first video. The above description has been given by taking the positioning information as the time stamp information, but the same applies to other positioning information, for example, video frame information and audio frame information.
The embodiment of the disclosure can recommend the first video and the second video associated with the first video for the user at the same time, enrich the content of video recommendation, save the operation steps of the user, and improve the film watching experience of the user.
