Detailed Description
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention are described with reference to the drawings. The following detailed description and drawings are illustrative of the principles of the invention, which is not limited to the preferred embodiments described, but is defined by the claims. The invention will now be described in detail with reference to exemplary embodiments thereof, some of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. The following description refers to the accompanying drawings, in which like reference numerals refer to the same or similar elements in different drawings unless otherwise indicated. The aspects described in the following exemplary embodiments do not represent all aspects of the present invention. Rather, these aspects are merely exemplary of the systems and methods according to the various aspects of the present invention as recited in the appended claims.
The assistance system according to the embodiment of the invention may be mounted on or applied to a vehicle. The vehicle may be an internal combustion engine vehicle using an internal combustion engine as a drive source, an electric vehicle or a fuel cell vehicle using an electric motor as a drive source, a hybrid vehicle using both of the above as drive sources, or a vehicle having another drive source.
FIG. 1 is a schematic view of an assistance system according to an embodiment of the invention. As shown in fig. 1, the assistance system 100 may include an acquisition device 110, an analysis device 120, and an output device 130.
The obtaining means 110 may obtain a future destination and a specified arrival time of the vehicle user. In some embodiments, the capture device 110 may be mounted on the vehicle or provided as a separate component from the vehicle. In some embodiments, the acquisition device 110 may be disposed remotely from the vehicle, for example as a remote acquisition device.
According to some embodiments of the invention, the obtaining means 110 may receive a user input of a future destination and a specified arrival time. For example, the user may set to attend a concert at location X at 10 am on day 26 of 12 months. In some embodiments, the user may directly input the future destination and the specified arrival time through the acquisition device 110 mounted on the vehicle. In some embodiments, the user may input the future destination and the specified arrival time through a mobile terminal (e.g., a mobile phone, a tablet, a laptop, etc.), which transmits the input future destination and the specified arrival time to the obtaining device 110.
According to some embodiments of the invention, the acquisition device 110 may also receive future destinations and specified arrival times from other users. For example, if user A and other user B, C agree to meet at location X at ten am on day 12/26 (sunday), user A's acquisition device 110 may receive an appointment invitation issued by other user B (the originator) that includes a future destination and a specified arrival time.
Fig. 2 is an application example of the assistance system according to the invention. As shown in FIG. 2, user A and other users B, C agree to aggregate at X.
According to some embodiments of the invention, the assistance system 100 may also send the user-entered future destination and specified arrival time to other users (e.g., via the output device 130 described in detail below). For example, user a and other user B, C agree to meet at location X at ten am on 26.12 months, user a (the originator) enters a future destination and a specified arrival time via the acquisition device 110, after which the assistance system 100 (output device 130) sends the future destination and the specified arrival time to other users B and C.
The analysis device 120 may be in wired or wireless communication with the detection device 110. In an exemplary embodiment, the analysis device 120 may be disposed in a cloud server. In other embodiments, the analysis device 120 may be disposed in a vehicle.
The analysis device 120 may predict an expected departure point of the user before the future destination based on the historical parking data and the historical traffic conditions of the user. "historical parking data" represents statistical data of the user's parking and may include, for example: historical parking locations, historical parking times, historical parking durations, and the like.
The historical traffic conditions represent historical road conditions based on historical statistics and may include, for example: historical road congestion conditions, historical road traffic efficiency, historical road vehicle conditions, and the like. In an exemplary embodiment, the historical traffic conditions may include traffic flow information for different time periods per natural day (e.g., every half hour, every two hours, etc.) and may also include traffic flow information for different natural days per natural week (e.g., once a week, every week, etc.).
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the analysis means 120 determines from the historical parking data from which location the user is most likely to depart to a future destination a certain period of time each day before the specified arrival time. The analysis means 120 may also consider the difference between the working day and the holiday to infer the expected departure point. For example, for a specified arrival time of 12 months and 26 days (sunday) ten am, if the historical parking data indicates that the user is most likely at the work location around nine am on weekdays, but is most likely at home at nine am on sundays, the analysis means 120 may presume that the expected departure location is the user's home.
In some embodiments, the analysis device 120 stores historical parking data. For example, the historical parking data may be obtained from an external source (e.g., a database) or entered by a user.
In some embodiments, the analysis device 120 may form historical parking data based on the recorded parking behavior. In this case, the acquisition device 110 may record the parking behavior of the user. The following describes in detail the recording and analysis of the parking behaviour of a user by the assistance system 100 according to the invention.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the acquisition means 110 may record the parking time, the parking place, and the parking duration of the vehicle at each parking. In some embodiments, the obtaining device 110 may obtain the parking location of the vehicle through navigation device and/or vehicle-related everything (V2X) communication. In some embodiments, the obtaining means 110 may obtain the parking time and the parking duration of the vehicle through an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) of the vehicle and/or V2X communication.
In an exemplary embodiment, the analysis means 120 may presume the parking intention of the user from points of interest (POI) in the vicinity of the parking place. The points of interest may be preset by the user and/or generated based on geographic information. For example, when the user's home or work place is within a predetermined range near the parking place of the vehicle, the analysis device 120 may determine that the user's parking intention is to go home or work. For example, when there is a gas station or a natatorium within a predetermined range near the parking place of the vehicle, the analysis device 120 may determine that the parking intention of the user is refueling or swimming. The predetermined range may be adjusted according to different urban or regional conditions, for example between 500 and 2000 meters.
According to some embodiments of the present invention, the analysis device 120 may also infer the parking intention of the user from points of interest near the parking location, the parking time, and/or the parking duration. For example, when a natatorium is present near the parking place, the parking time is within the business hours of the natatorium, and the parking duration exceeds 30 minutes, the analysis device 120 may determine that the user's parking intention is swimming.
The analysis means 120 may also determine whether the parking place belongs to a regular parking place according to the parking intention of the user. For example, as described above, when it is presumed that the parking intention of the user at the parking place is to go home, work or swim, the analysis device 120 may determine that the parking place is a regular parking place. For example, when the parking duration of the user at the parking place is less than 15 minutes, the analysis means 120 may presume that the parking intention of the user is temporary parking and judge that the parking place does not belong to a regular parking place.
The analysis means 120 may retain historical parking data over a period of time, for example, over several months. The period may be adjusted according to the activity state of the user.
After predicting the expected departure point, the analysis device 120 may estimate an expected travel time and an expected travel distance from the expected departure point to the future destination based on the specified arrival time and the historical traffic conditions.
The analysis means 120 may take into account a plurality of different driving routes from the expected departure point to the future destination. In this case, the analysis means 120 may estimate the travel time of the vehicle according to each travel route, respectively, select a corresponding travel route according to a predetermined criterion (for example, the required time is shortest, etc.), and take the travel time and the travel distance of the vehicle according to the travel route as the expected travel time and the expected travel distance.
The output device 130 may be in wired or wireless communication with the detection device 110 and/or the analysis device 120. In some embodiments, output device 130 may be disposed on a vehicle. In some embodiments, the output device 130 may be disposed remotely from the vehicle.
The output device 130 may alert the user that he is ready to depart for a future destination within a first predetermined time period before the specified arrival time. For example, if the specified arrival time is 12 months, 26 am ten am and the travel time determined by the analysis device 120 is 1 hour, the output device 130 may alert the user between 8 am and 9 am on 12 months, 26 am that the user is ready to depart for a future destination. The first predetermined time period may be adjusted according to the specified arrival time and the expected travel time. The output device 130 may also provide different reminders according to different times. For example, at 8 am on 26 months of 12, the user is reminded to prepare to go out; at 9 am on 26.12 months, the user is reminded that he may be late if he does not go off immediately.
According to the embodiment of the present invention, the output device 130 may issue the alert to the user in different manners such as text, voice, image, video, and the like.
The user may not be located at the intended origin before traveling to the future destination. To more flexibly alert the user, the assistance system 100 may also calculate a route to a future destination and provide an alert based on the real-time location of the vehicle.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the obtaining device 110 may also obtain the real-time position and the real-time traffic condition of the vehicle; and the analysis device 120 may monitor the real-time location and real-time traffic conditions of the vehicle and calculate a trip from the real-time location to a future destination prior to the specified arrival time.
In some embodiments, the obtaining device 110 may obtain the real-time location of the vehicle via a navigation device and/or V2X communication. In some embodiments, the acquisition device 110 may acquire real-time traffic conditions through broadcasting, networks, navigation systems, local data, and the like. Real-time traffic conditions represent current road conditions and may include, for example: current road congestion conditions, current road traffic efficiency, current road vehicle conditions, and the like.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the analysis device 120 may continuously or intermittently calculate an expected travel time and an expected travel distance from the real-time location to the future destination. In this case, the output device 130 may remind the user to prepare to depart to a future destination within a first predetermined time period before the specified arrival time based on the expected travel time and the expected travel distance calculated by the analysis device 120.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, when the obtaining device 110 receives the future destination and the designated arrival time from the other user, the output device 130 may also provide the user's driving status to the other user within a second predetermined time period before the designated arrival time. The second predetermined time period may be adjusted based on factors such as the distance and/or time traveled by the user to the future destination, the distance and/or time traveled by other users to the future destination, and the like. In this case, the user can share information such as the real-time position, the remaining travel distance, the remaining travel time, and the like with other users in time.
As described above, the output device 130 may also transmit the future destination and the specified arrival time input by the user to other users. In this case, the acquisition device 110 may also receive information from other users whether they agree to arrive at a future destination at the specified arrival time. According to an embodiment of the present invention, when the other user agrees to specify that the arrival time reaches the future destination, the output device 130 may further provide the user with the driving status of the other user within a second predetermined time period before the specified arrival time, and remind the user to prepare to depart to the future destination according to the driving status of the other user. In this case, the user can obtain information such as the real-time position, the remaining travel distance, and the remaining travel time of the other user in time.
The assistance system 100 according to the invention may also assist the user in scheduling other activities before proceeding to a future destination and/or after departing from a future destination, as described in detail below.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the analysis device 120 may further determine, before the specified arrival time, a recommended parking place before going to the future destination according to the historical parking data of the user; and the output device 130 may also provide the user with a recommended parking place. For example, the analysis device 120 may use a natatorium or the like as a recommended parking place based on the historical parking data. In this case, the user may consider going to the natatorium for activity before going to a future destination.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the analysis means 120 may arrange all potential parking places that the vehicle can visit within a third predetermined time period before the arrival time according to the historical parking data of the user; and selecting one or more recommended parking places from all the potential parking places. The third predetermined time period may be adjusted based on a specified arrival time, historical traffic conditions, and the like. The analysis means 120 may rank and select recommended parking places according to the possibility that the user is present at potential parking places within a certain period of time.
For example, if the specified arrival time is 10 am, the analysis device 120 may list all potential parking spots within 12 hours before that, and select the three recommended parking spots with the highest possibility. After that, the output device 130 provides the three recommended parking places determined by the analysis device 120 to the user. The analysis device 120 may also analyze traffic information related to the three recommended parking places before the designated arrival time, including, for example, arrival time to the recommended parking place, departure time from the recommended parking place, and the like, according to the historical traffic conditions.
The above describes that the assistance system 100 according to the invention provides the user with a recommended parking place to schedule other activities before going to a future destination. The assistance system 100 according to the present invention can also provide the user with a recommended parking place after departing from a future destination.
