The invention adopts the following technical scheme: an electric starting mechanism for a pedal motorcycle engine, comprising: the starting clutch is arranged on a front end shaft neck of a crankshaft on the left side of the engine, an inner hole of the starting clutch is in splined connection with the front end shaft neck of the crankshaft and is tightly pressed on a front end shaft shoulder of the crankshaft through a cushion cover, outer teeth of the starting clutch are connected with an output shaft of a starting motor through a duplicate gear, the starting clutch is positioned on the outer side of the left end of a left box body of a crankcase of the engine, a timing chain is arranged between the starting clutch and the left box body of the crankcase, an oil separating disc is arranged on the left side of the starting clutch and is fixedly connected to the left end of the left box body of the crankcase through a fastening bolt, one end of the cushion cover penetrates through the oil separating disc to be contacted with the starting clutch, the other end of the cushion cover is contacted with a driving disc of the continuously variable transmission, the starting clutch is tightly pressed through a nut for fastening, the oil separating disc and the left crankcase body form a sealed cavity; the oil separating disc is matched with the left end appearance structure of the crankcase left box body in appearance structure, a through hole in clearance fit with the outer circle of the cushion cover is arranged in the middle of the oil separating disc, a coaxial counter bore is formed in an orifice of the through hole located on one side of the starting clutch, and an oil seal which forms seal with the outer circle face of the cushion cover is installed in the counter bore.
The whole cushion cover is of an annular structure, the annular inner diameter of the cushion cover is in clearance fit with a shaft neck at the front end of the crankshaft, and an annular groove for installing an O-shaped sealing ring is formed in the annular inner wall of the cushion cover.

The principle of the invention is as follows: a sealed cavity is additionally arranged on the left side of a left box body of an engine crankcase by using an oil separating disc, the starting clutch is placed in the cavity, lubricating oil is injected into the cavity, lubricating oil drops can be splashed onto the starting clutch by the movement of a timing chain, and meanwhile, the lubricating oil can flow onto the starting clutch from an oil groove on a gasket, so that the normal lubrication of the starting clutch is ensured.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the invention has simple structure and convenient installation and maintenance, reduces the abrasion of the clutch and improves the reliability thereof because the starting clutch has enough lubrication, obviously reduces the failure rate of the engine, and better solves the problem existing when the electric starting clutch is arranged at the left side of the engine.
