When using IM applications for communication, it is often the case that messages are not browsed in time and some important messages (such as indications of boss, meeting notifications, etc.) are missed; the accumulated messages which are not browsed can only be read one by one, when the number of messages which are not browsed is too much, a great amount of time is needed for a user to obtain important messages from the too many messages which are not browsed, the processing efficiency of the messages is low, and some unnecessary losses are brought to the user once some important messages are missed.

The first amount of allocable resources are sent out by users in a session group in the form of information, the server receives the information and sends the information to all users in the session group in the form of a first message of a first type, and the first message is represented in a session window of a terminal device to which the user belongs in the form corresponding to the first type; for example, when the first message is used to obtain at least part of a first number of electronic red packets, a "red packet" indicator may be displayed in a conversation window of the terminal device to indicate the first message. Correspondingly, in at least one message output and displayed in the specific display area, if any message is used for obtaining at least part of a certain number of allocable resources, the corresponding message can be represented in the specific display area through a display identifier.
In this embodiment, taking the example that the first message output by the specific display area is represented by a "red packet" identifier, when an operation on the first message is detected, that is, when an operation on the "red packet" identifier is detected, it is equivalent to directly operating in the session window where the "red packet" identifier is located, and directly generating request information, where the request information is used to obtain at least part of the first number of allocable resources, and send the request information to the server. In practical applications, the generating request information based on the operation includes: obtaining an application identifier and a message identifier carried by the first message (the message identifier may include a session group identifier and a session group identifier), calling a corresponding application interface based on the application identifier, and sending request information through the application interface, where the request message includes the message identifier.
Fig. 5a and 5b are schematic diagrams of another application of the information processing method according to the embodiment of the present invention; as shown in fig. 5a, a specific display area of the terminal device displays a "red packet" identifier corresponding to a "red packet" type message, and when the user clicks the "red packet" identifier, the allocable resource corresponding to the "red packet" identifier can be directly obtained without entering a session window corresponding to the "red packet" identifier, as shown in fig. 5 b.
By adopting the technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention, on one hand, through the matching process of the received message and the preset characteristic information, the successfully matched message is combined in one window and output and displayed in the specific display area, the message concerned by the user is displayed at the specific position (or the eye-catching position) and the user is reminded in time, the user is prevented from missing important messages, the user does not need to spend time to search in too many messages which are not browsed, the processing efficiency of the message is greatly improved, and the experience of the user is improved. On the other hand, the operation of processing the message based on the type of the message is realized, for example, when the message is in a red packet type, the direct processing of the message of the type can be realized without entering a session window corresponding to the message, on the other hand, the processing efficiency of the message is greatly improved, and the user experience is improved.
The embodiment of the invention also provides an information processing method. FIG. 6 is a third flowchart illustrating an information processing method according to an embodiment of the invention; as shown in fig. 6, the method includes:
step 301: a message is received.
Step 302: when a preset condition is met, inquiring and analyzing the messages based on pre-configured characteristic information, extracting at least one message matched with the characteristic information, and combining the at least one message matched with the characteristic information in a window; the at least one message has at least one type.
Step 303: and controlling the window to be output and displayed in a specific display area, and outputting prompt information which is supported to be perceived by a user.
Step 304: detecting an operation aiming at a first message, generating second request information based on the operation when a first type of the first message represents a hyperlink type, and sending the second request information; and the second request information is used for obtaining page resource data corresponding to the website contained in the hyperlink.
Step 305: and when page resource data are acquired based on the second request information, outputting the page resource data based on the output mode corresponding to the first type.
In this embodiment, in the present embodiment, the steps 301 to 303 respectively correspond to the steps 101 to 103 in the first embodiment, so that a person skilled in the art can understand the steps 301 to 303 with reference to the first embodiment, and details are not described herein for brevity.
In this embodiment, the first type of the first message represents a hyperlink type, and the first message may be a hyperlink including a website. The page resource data corresponding to the website included in the hyperlink may specifically include at least one of the following resource data: audio data, video data; text data, picture data, etc. And when the operation aiming at the first message for representing the hyperlink type is detected, generating and sending second request information based on the operation so as to request page resource data corresponding to the website contained in the hyperlink. And when page resource data are acquired based on the second request information, outputting the page resource data based on the output mode corresponding to the first type. And when the page resource data corresponding to the website contained in the hyperlink comprises video data, calling a video player, and outputting the video data through the video player. And when the webpage resource data corresponding to the website contained in the hyperlink comprises audio data, calling an audio player and outputting the audio data through the audio player. And when the page resource data corresponding to the website contained in the hyperlink is the page resource data corresponding to the application installed in the terminal equipment, calling the application client, and outputting the page resource data through the application client.
FIG. 7 is a schematic diagram of another application of the information processing method according to the embodiment of the present invention; as shown in fig. 7, a specific display area of a terminal device displays a message including a hyperlink type, and when a user clicks the hyperlink in the message, the user can directly access a corresponding server based on a website included in the hyperlink without entering a session window corresponding to the message, so as to obtain page resource data corresponding to the website.

Step 402: when a preset condition is met, inquiring and analyzing the messages based on pre-configured characteristic information, extracting at least one message matched with the characteristic information, and combining the at least one message matched with the characteristic information in a window; the at least one message has at least one type.
Step 403: and controlling the at least one message to be output and displayed in a specific display area, and outputting prompt information which is supported to be perceived by a user.
Step 404: detecting an operation aiming at a first message, determining a first session group corresponding to the first message, and determining first position information of the first message in the first session group; the first message is any one of the at least one message.
Step 405: and outputting and displaying a first session window corresponding to the first session group based on the position information, so that the output content of the first session window comprises the first message.
In this embodiment, in the present embodiment, the steps 401 to 403 correspond to the steps 101 to 103 in the first embodiment, respectively, so that a person skilled in the art can understand the steps 401 to 403 with reference to the first embodiment, and details are not described herein for brevity.
In this embodiment, when an operation for a first message in the specific display area is detected, based on an application identifier carried by the first message (first determining which application the first message comes from, then determining, according to a session group identifier carried by the first message, which session group the first message comes from in the application, further determining, according to a user identifier (i.e., a message source identifier) carried by the first message and a time parameter, at what time the first message is sent by that user, and based on this, determining first location information of the first message in the first session group in the application.
Further, outputting and displaying a first session window corresponding to the first session group, that is, controlling the first session window corresponding to the first message to output and display, and positioning the display content in the first session window at the position where the first message is located, as an implementation manner, the first position information corresponding to the first message may be used as the central position of the display content of the first session window, so that the first message is displayed at the central position of the first session window; correspondingly, the previous message and the next message of the first message received according to the time sequence are respectively displayed in the first session window, the upper area and the lower area of the first message, that is, by the embodiment, not only the source (i.e., the application and the session group source) of the first message can be quickly obtained, but also the context of the first message can be quickly obtained. FIG. 9a and FIG. 9b are schematic diagrams of another application of the information processing method according to the embodiment of the present invention; as shown in fig. 9a, when the user clicks the first message displayed in the specific display area, the session window corresponding to the first message is triggered to be displayed, as shown in fig. 9b, so that the user can quickly know the source and context of the message.
The embodiment of the invention also provides an information processing method. FIG. 10 is a diagram illustrating a fifth flowchart of an information processing method according to an embodiment of the invention; as shown in fig. 10, the method includes:
step 501: a message is received.
Step 502: and when a preset condition is met, inquiring and analyzing the messages based on the pre-configured characteristic information, extracting at least one message matched with the characteristic information, and combining the at least one message matched with the characteristic information in a window.
Step 503: and controlling the window to be output and displayed in a specific display area, and outputting prompt information which is supported to be perceived by a user.

Step 505: generating behavior data based on the operation of the at least one message in the specific display area, and sending the behavior data to a server so that the server modifies the ordering of the plurality of feature information in the configuration information based on the behavior data.
In this embodiment, in the present embodiment, the steps 501 to 504 respectively correspond to the steps 101 to 104 in the first embodiment, so that those skilled in the art can understand the steps 501 to 504 with reference to the first embodiment, and details are not repeated herein for brevity.
In this embodiment, the terminal device reports behavior data of an operation on the message in the specific display area to the server, where the behavior data may include an operation sequence of the user on the plurality of messages when the plurality of messages are output, that is, records a message and corresponding features of each operation, and generates the recorded content into behavior data to be sent to the server, so that the server adjusts the order of the feature information in the configuration file to be delivered based on the obtained behavior data, for example, the feature information in the original configuration file is: feature 1, feature 2, feature 3 …, feature 5, and the feature information in the adjusted configuration file may be: feature 3, feature 1, feature 2 …, feature 5, and so on. In one embodiment, the behavior data may characterize an operation behavior for a certain message and may also characterize a non-operation behavior for a certain message, that is, the behavior data characterizes an operation or non-operation event of a user for a message in the specific display area, that is, may characterize a user's attention degree to the corresponding message. The server can adjust the sequencing of the characteristic information in the configuration file to be issued based on the behavior data.
In this embodiment, after obtaining the configuration file delivered by the server, the terminal device selects at least one of the plurality of pieces of feature information through an input operation, and the sequence of the selected at least one piece of feature information is associated with the sequence of at least one message output and displayed in the specific display area. It can be understood that the sequence of the at least one piece of feature information indicates the priority level, the priority level of the feature information ranked first is higher than the priority level of the feature information ranked later, after at least one message matched with the at least one piece of feature information is extracted, the at least one message is ranked according to the ranking of the at least one message, and the at least one message ranked after being output and displayed in the specific display area is output and displayed in the specific display area, so that the message output and displayed in the specific display area better conforms to the habit of a user.
The information processing method according to the embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to specific examples.
The embodiment of the invention also provides an information processing method which is applied to the terminal. FIG. 11 is a sixth flowchart illustrating an information processing method according to an embodiment of the invention; as shown in fig. 11, the method includes:
step 601: when a message is received, detecting whether a configuration file exists locally in a terminal; when no configuration file exists, executing step 602 and step 603; when a configuration file exists, step 603 is performed directly.

In the embodiment of the present invention, the extracting Unit 52 and the controlling Unit 53 in the apparatus may be implemented by a Central Processing Unit (CPU), a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), a Micro Control Unit (MCU), or a Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) in practical applications; the receiving unit 51 and the sending unit 54 in the device can be realized by a communication module (including a basic communication suite, an operating system, a communication module, a standardized interface, a protocol and the like) and a transceiving antenna in practical application.
An example of a hardware configuration of the information processing apparatus is shown in fig. 13, and includes a memory 62, a processor 61, a computer program stored in the memory and operable on the processor 61, and at least one external communication interface 63; the processor 61, memory 62 and external communication interface 63 are all connected by a bus 64. The processor implements the steps of the information processing method according to the embodiment of the present invention when executing the program. As an embodiment, the processor 61 is configured to execute, when running the computer program, the following steps: when the first type representation of the first message allocates a first amount of allocable resources to users in a corresponding session group, generating first request information based on the operation, and sending the first request information; the first request information is used for requesting to obtain at least part of the first number of allocable resources; when a second number of allocable resources are acquired based on the first request information, feedback information corresponding to the request information is acquired, and the feedback information is output based on an output mode corresponding to the first type; the feedback information characterizes that the second number of allocable resources has been obtained; the second number may be the same as or different from the first number.
In one embodiment, the processor is configured to execute, when running the computer program, the following: when the first type of the first message represents a hyperlink type, generating second request information based on the operation, and sending the second request information; the second request information is used for obtaining page resource data corresponding to the website contained in the hyperlink; and when page resource data are acquired based on the second request information, outputting the page resource data based on the output mode corresponding to the first type.
As an embodiment, the processor 61 is configured to execute, when running the computer program, the following steps: determining a first session group corresponding to the first message, and determining first location information of the first message in the first session group; the first message is any one of the at least one message; and outputting and displaying a first session window corresponding to the first session group based on the position information, so that the output content of the first session window comprises the first message.
As an embodiment, the processor 61 is configured to execute, when running the computer program, the following steps: obtaining configuration information from a server, wherein the configuration information comprises a plurality of characteristic information; determining at least one feature information of the plurality of feature information based on an input operation by a user; querying and analyzing the message based on the determined at least one characteristic information.
As an embodiment, the processor 61 is configured to execute, when running the computer program, the following steps: generating behavior data based on the operation of the at least one message in the specific display area, and sending the behavior data to a server so that the server modifies the ordering of the plurality of feature information in the configuration information based on the behavior data; the ranking of the at least one message output for display by the particular display region is associated with the ranking of the plurality of characteristic information.
In the information processing apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention, the memory may be implemented by any type of volatile or nonvolatile storage device, or a combination thereof. By way of illustration and not limitation, many forms of RAM are available, such as Static Random Access Memory (SRAM), Synchronous Static Random Access Memory (SSRAM), Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM), Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory (SDRAM), Double Data Rate Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory (DDRSDRAM), Enhanced Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory (ESDRAM), Enhanced Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory (Enhanced DRAM), Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory (SLDRAM), Direct Memory (DRmb Access), and Random Access Memory (DRAM). The memory 62 described in connection with the embodiments of the invention is intended to comprise, without being limited to, these and any other suitable types of memory.
In the information processing apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention, the processor may be an integrated circuit chip having signal processing capability. In implementation, the steps of the above method may be performed by integrated logic circuits of hardware in a processor or instructions in the form of software. The processor described above may be a general purpose processor, a DSP, or other programmable logic device, discrete gate or transistor logic device, discrete hardware components, or the like. The processor may implement or perform the methods, steps, and logic blocks disclosed in embodiments of the present invention. A general purpose processor may be a microprocessor or any conventional processor or the like. The steps of the method disclosed by the embodiment of the invention can be directly implemented by a hardware decoding processor, or can be implemented by combining hardware and software modules in the decoding processor. The software modules may be located in a storage medium having a memory and a processor reading the information in the memory and combining the hardware to perform the steps of the method.
The embodiment of the present invention further provides a computer storage medium, on which a computer program is stored, where the computer program is executed by a processor to implement the steps of the information processing method according to the embodiment of the present invention. Specifically, when executed by the processor, the computer program performs: receiving a message; when a preset condition is met, inquiring and analyzing the messages based on pre-configured characteristic information, extracting at least one message matched with the characteristic information, and combining the at least one message matched with the characteristic information in a window; controlling to output and display the window in a specific display area and outputting prompt information which is supported to be perceived by a user; detecting an operation aiming at a first message, obtaining information associated with the first message, and outputting the associated information according to an output mode corresponding to a first type of the first message; the first message is any one of the at least one message; the at least one message matching the characteristic information has at least one type.
As an embodiment, the computer program, when executed by the processor, performs: when the first type representation of the first message allocates a first amount of allocable resources to users in a corresponding session group, generating first request information based on the operation, and sending the first request information; the first request information is used for requesting to obtain at least part of the first number of allocable resources; when a second number of allocable resources are acquired based on the first request information, feedback information corresponding to the request information is acquired, and the feedback information is output based on an output mode corresponding to the first type; the feedback information characterizes that the second number of allocable resources has been obtained; the second number may be the same as or different from the first number. .
As an embodiment, the computer program, when executed by the processor, performs: when the first type of the first message represents a hyperlink type, generating second request information based on the operation, and sending the second request information; the second request information is used for obtaining page resource data corresponding to the website contained in the hyperlink; and when page resource data are acquired based on the second request information, outputting the page resource data based on the output mode corresponding to the first type.
As an embodiment, the computer program, when executed by the processor, performs: determining a first session group corresponding to the first message, and determining first location information of the first message in the first session group; the first message is any one of the at least one message; and outputting and displaying a first session window corresponding to the first session group based on the position information, so that the output content of the first session window comprises the first message.
As an embodiment, the computer program, when executed by the processor, performs: when the first message is used for allocating a first number of allocable resources to users in a corresponding session group, generating request information based on the operation, and sending the request information; when a second number of allocable resources are acquired based on the request information, feedback information corresponding to the request information is acquired and output, and the feedback information represents that the second number of allocable resources are acquired; the second number may be the same as or different from the first number.
As an embodiment, the computer program, when executed by the processor, performs: obtaining configuration information from a server, wherein the configuration information comprises a plurality of characteristic information; determining at least one feature information of the plurality of feature information based on an input operation by a user; querying and analyzing the message based on the determined at least one characteristic information.
As an embodiment, the computer program, when executed by the processor, performs: generating behavior data based on the operation of the at least one message in the specific display area, and sending the behavior data to a server so that the server modifies the ordering of the plurality of feature information in the configuration information based on the behavior data; the ranking of the at least one message output for display by the particular display region is associated with the ranking of the plurality of characteristic information.
In the several embodiments provided in the present application, it should be understood that the disclosed apparatus and method may be implemented in other ways. The above-described device embodiments are merely illustrative, for example, the division of the unit is only a logical functional division, and there may be other division ways in actual implementation, such as: multiple units or components may be combined, or may be integrated into another system, or some features may be omitted, or not implemented. In addition, the coupling, direct coupling or communication connection between the components shown or discussed may be through some interfaces, and the indirect coupling or communication connection between the devices or units may be electrical, mechanical or other forms.
The units described as separate parts may or may not be physically separate, and parts displayed as units may or may not be physical units, that is, may be located in one place, or may be distributed on a plurality of network units; some or all of the units can be selected according to actual needs to achieve the purpose of the solution of the embodiment.
In addition, all the functional units in the embodiments of the present invention may be integrated into one processing unit, or each unit may be separately regarded as one unit, or two or more units may be integrated into one unit; the integrated unit can be realized in a form of hardware, or in a form of hardware plus a software functional unit.
Those of ordinary skill in the art will understand that: all or part of the steps for implementing the method embodiments may be implemented by hardware related to program instructions, and the program may be stored in a computer readable storage medium, and when executed, the program performs the steps including the method embodiments; and the aforementioned storage medium includes: a removable storage device, a ROM, a RAM, a magnetic or optical disk, or various other media that can store program code.
Alternatively, the integrated unit of the present invention may be stored in a computer-readable storage medium if it is implemented in the form of a software functional module and sold or used as a separate product. Based on such understanding, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention may be essentially implemented or a part contributing to the prior art may be embodied in the form of a software product, which is stored in a storage medium and includes several instructions for causing a computer device (which may be a personal computer, a server, or a network device) to execute all or part of the methods described in the embodiments of the present invention. And the aforementioned storage medium includes: a removable storage device, a ROM, a RAM, a magnetic or optical disk, or various other media that can store program code.
The above description is only for the specific embodiments of the present invention, but the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto, and any person skilled in the art can easily conceive of the changes or substitutions within the technical scope of the present invention, and all the changes or substitutions should be covered within the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the protection scope of the present invention shall be subject to the protection scope of the appended claims.

Claims (10)

1. An information processing method is applied to an instant messaging client, and the method comprises the following steps:
receiving a message, and acquiring configuration information, wherein the configuration information comprises a plurality of pieces of feature information with a certain sequence, and the sequence of the plurality of pieces of feature information represents the priority level;
selecting at least one of the plurality of feature information by an input operation;
when a preset condition comprising at least one of a preset time range and a preset application state is met, inquiring and analyzing the message based on the selected at least one piece of characteristic information, extracting at least one piece of message matched with the at least one piece of characteristic information, and combining the at least one piece of message matched with the selected at least one piece of characteristic information in a window;
wherein the type of the feature information comprises at least one of: the user identification of the message, the message type, the keywords of the message content and the number of times of repeatedly sending a message within a preset time;
arranging at least one message matched with the at least one piece of feature information according to the sequence of the at least one piece of feature information after selection;
controlling a window containing the arranged at least one message to be output and displayed in a specific display area, wherein the window is different from a conversation window of the instant messaging client;
outputting prompt information, wherein the prompt information is supported to be perceived by a user;
detecting an operation aiming at a first message, obtaining information associated with the first message, and outputting the associated information according to an output mode corresponding to a first type of the first message; the first message is any one of the at least one message; the at least one message matched with the characteristic information has at least one type;
recording the operation aiming at the first message and the characteristic information corresponding to the first message;
generating behavior data based on the recorded content, the behavior data characterizing user operational or non-operational events for the message in the particular display area;
and sending the behavior data to a server so that the server modifies the sequencing of the characteristic information in the configuration information based on the behavior data.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein obtaining information associated with the first message and outputting the associated information in an output manner corresponding to the first type of the first message comprises:
when the first type representation of the first message allocates a first amount of allocable resources to users in a corresponding session group, generating first request information based on the operation, and sending the first request information; the first request information is used for requesting to obtain at least part of the first number of allocable resources;
when a second number of allocable resources are acquired based on the first request information, feedback information corresponding to the request information is acquired, and the feedback information is output based on an output mode corresponding to the first type; the feedback information characterizes that the second number of allocable resources has been obtained; the second number may be the same as or different from the first number.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein obtaining information associated with the first message and outputting the associated information in an output manner corresponding to the first type of the first message comprises:
when the first type of the first message represents a hyperlink type, generating second request information based on the operation, and sending the second request information; the second request information is used for obtaining page resource data corresponding to the website contained in the hyperlink;
and when page resource data are acquired based on the second request information, outputting the page resource data based on the output mode corresponding to the first type.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein obtaining information associated with the first message and outputting the associated information in an output manner corresponding to the first type of the first message comprises:
determining a first session group corresponding to the first message, and determining first location information of the first message in the first session group; the first message is any one of the at least one message;
and outputting and displaying a first session window corresponding to the first session group based on the position information, so that the output content of the first session window comprises the first message.
5. An information processing apparatus characterized in that the apparatus comprises: a receiving unit, an extracting unit and a control unit; wherein the content of the first and second substances,
the receiving unit is used for receiving a message and acquiring configuration information, wherein the configuration information comprises a plurality of pieces of feature information with a certain sequence, and the sequence of the plurality of pieces of feature information indicates the priority level;
the extracting unit is configured to, when a preset condition including at least one of a preset time range and a preset application state is satisfied, query and analyze the message based on the selected at least one piece of feature information, extract at least one piece of message matching the at least one piece of feature information, and combine the at least one piece of message matching the selected at least one piece of feature information in one window; wherein the type of the feature information comprises at least one of: the user identification of the message, the message type, the keywords of the message content and the number of times of repeatedly sending a message within a preset time;
the control unit is used for selecting at least one of the characteristic information through input operation; controlling a window containing the arranged at least one message to be output and displayed in a specific display area, wherein the window is different from a conversation window of the instant messaging client; outputting prompt information, wherein the prompt information is supported to be perceived by a user; detecting an operation aiming at a first message, obtaining information associated with the first message, and outputting the associated information according to an output mode corresponding to a first type of the first message; the first message is any one of the at least one message; the at least one message matched with the characteristic information has at least one type; recording the operation aiming at the first message and the characteristic information corresponding to the first message; generating behavior data based on the recorded content, the behavior data characterizing user operational or non-operational events for the message in the particular display area;
a sending unit, configured to send the behavior data to a server, so that the server modifies the ordering of the feature information in the configuration information based on the behavior data.

The apparatus according to claim 5, wherein the control unit is configured to generate first request information based on the operation when the first type representation of the first message allocates a first amount of allocable resources to users in a corresponding session group, and send the first request information; the first request information is used for requesting to obtain at least part of the first number of allocable resources; when a second number of allocable resources are acquired based on the first request information, feedback information corresponding to the request information is acquired, and the feedback information is output based on an output mode corresponding to the first type; the feedback information characterizes that the second number of allocable resources has been obtained; the second number may be the same as or different from the first number.

The apparatus according to claim 5, wherein the control unit is configured to generate second request information based on the operation when the first type of the first message characterizes a hyperlink type, and send the second request information; the second request information is used for obtaining page resource data corresponding to the website contained in the hyperlink; and when page resource data are acquired based on the second request information, outputting the page resource data based on the output mode corresponding to the first type.

The apparatus of claim 5, wherein the control unit is configured to determine a first session group to which the first message corresponds, and determine first location information of the first message in the first session group; the first message is any one of the at least one message; and outputting and displaying a first session window corresponding to the first session group based on the position information, so that the output content of the first session window comprises the first message.
9. A computer-readable storage medium, on which computer instructions are stored, characterized in that the instructions, when executed by a processor, implement the steps of the information processing method of any one of claims 1 to 4.
10. An information processing apparatus comprising a memory, a processor, and a computer program stored on the memory and executable on the processor, characterized in that the steps of the information processing method according to any one of claims 1 to 4 are implemented when the processor executes the program.
