Detailed Description
The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, and it should be understood that the preferred embodiments described below are only for the purpose of illustrating and explaining the present invention, and are not to be construed as limiting the present invention.
In the following embodiments of the display method and the electronic device provided by the present invention, the electronic device includes, but is not limited to: foldable screen cell phones, foldable screen computers, foldable screen electronic readers, and the like. The preferred object of the electronic equipment in the embodiment of the invention is a foldable screen mobile phone.
In the following embodiments of the display method and the electronic device provided by the present invention, the window may be a full-screen window or a small window, preferably a small window; the small window is obtained by zooming-out transformation, translation transformation, rotation transformation and shape transformation of the full screen window.
Specifically, each display unit included in the electronic device can run at least one application program, and each application program may correspond to at least one full-screen window or at least one small window. The application program can be an application carried by the electronic equipment system, such as a clock application, a short message application, an address book application and the like; or may be a third party application installed by the user such as a gaming application, a WeChat application, a browser application, an instant chat application, a mail application, etc. The application program can be displayed on the desktop of the electronic equipment in the form of an icon. By operating the icon of the first application program, the first application program is displayed on the display unit through a small window or a full-screen window, so that the first application program is convenient for a user to use. For example, on a desktop of an electronic device such as a mobile phone, when a user touches an icon of a clock application, the clock application may be opened and displayed on a display unit in a small-window or full-screen window manner.
The first embodiment of the method comprises the following steps:
the first embodiment of the display method provided by the invention is applied to electronic equipment, wherein the electronic equipment is provided with a foldable screen; the foldable screen can be folded to form at least two surfaces, namely a cuboid, a cube or other three-dimensional shapes; of course, the screen of the electronic device may also be a flat display screen. The foldable screen may be a touch screen or a non-touch screen, which is not limited herein.
Fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart illustrating an implementation of a display method according to a first embodiment of the present invention; as shown in fig. 1, the method includes:
step 101: detecting whether a first folding angle of the foldable screen during folding is larger than or equal to a preset value;
since the foldable screen of the electronic device has flexibility, the foldable screen can be folded along a predetermined folding line on the screen and it is detected whether a first folding angle formed by the folding is equal to or greater than a predetermined value; the first folding angle is an included angle between two faces of the foldable screen with the display units, when the front face and the back face of the electronic device are both provided with the foldable screens, a relatively small included angle is used as the first folding angle, the first folding angle can be displayed in the four display units during display, and can also be displayed in only two display units corresponding to the foldable screen on the front face or only displayed in two display units corresponding to the foldable screen on the back face. The predetermined value may be determined according to the flexibility of the foldable screen, or according to the distance recognition capability of the electronic device, or according to the user's requirement, such as the predetermined value may be 60 °, 90 °, 180 °, 90 °, 120 °, and so on.
Step 102: if the first folding angle is detected to be larger than or equal to the preset value, two folding surfaces adjacent to the first folding angle are used as two display units;
here, when it is detected that the first folding angle is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, it is determined that this folding operation forming the first folding angle causes the screen to form a non-planar shape, and thus, two folding surfaces adjacent to the first folding angle can be used as two display units of the electronic apparatus.
Step 103: and displaying the running windows in the two display units in a preset display form respectively.
Here, the window in which the electronic device is operating is displayed in a predetermined display form in two display units, thereby realizing a split screen display. When the running window is a window corresponding to a certain application, the window can be displayed on two display units in a tiled mode; the window may also be displayed in a tiled manner in one of the two display units, and the window may be displayed in a window cross section in the other display unit, and the window cross section mentioned in this embodiment may be understood as a projection plane formed by projecting the window displayed in the tiled manner in one of the display units onto the other display unit when the first folding angle is 90 °, that is, two planes adjacent to the first folding angle are vertical planes.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the running window may be a plurality of windows, and when the running window is a plurality of windows (multi-window),
the running window is a window corresponding to a plurality of different applications, or a plurality of windows corresponding to the same application, or a window corresponding to a plurality of different applications and a plurality of windows corresponding to the same application; the running windows can be displayed in a first display form or a second display form in the two display units; wherein the first display form is used for representing the window cross sections of the running windows and is presented in an overlapped form or a laminated form; the second display form is used for representing that the running windows are displayed in a multi-window tiled mode, and the problem that all display units of the foldable screen mobile phone can only display the same application content is solved.
Further, in each display unit, these multiple windows may be displayed in the form of window cross sections, forming multiple corresponding window cross sections, and taking fig. 7(a) - (C) as an example, the small windows 1, 2 are both displayed in the form of window cross sections in the display unit C; the cross sections of the corresponding windows can be presented in a superposition mode or a laminated mode in the same display unit; the overlapping form means that each window cross section can be overlapped on another window cross section adjacent to the window cross section, the overlapping area between the two window cross sections is larger than a certain threshold value, as shown in fig. 7(a) and (b), and the overlapping form means that each window cross section can be completely overlapped in a staggered manner, as shown in fig. 7(c), or can be incompletely overlapped in a staggered manner, and the overlapping area is smaller than a certain threshold value. In addition, in each display unit, the multiple windows can also be displayed in a multi-window tiled mode; or in one display unit these multiple windows are displayed in a multi-window tiled fashion and in another display unit in a window cross-sectional fashion.
In another preferred embodiment of the present invention, when the windows being operated are displayed in the first display form or the second display form in the two display units,
the windows are displayed according to the categories of the applications corresponding to the windows, or a preset hierarchy, or the sequence of opening the windows by the same application. The application category can be divided into conversational applications such as QQ applications, short message applications and the like and non-conversational applications such as calculator applications, alarm clock applications and the like; the applications may also be divided into self-contained applications of the electronic device, such as a call application, a short message application, and non-self-contained applications, such as applications that are run by installing corresponding software, such as a WeChat application, a map application, and the like, although the types of the applications may also be divided according to other conceivable forms, which is not limited in this embodiment. The display according to the predetermined hierarchy may be a display according to a priority level previously divided for the application, for example, a conversational class application such as a QQ application is set to have a higher priority than a non-conversational class application such as a calculator application in advance, and then the QQ application may be displayed in front of the calculator application when the multi-window display is performed, so that the user can view and use the QQ application with priority. Or the displaying according to the predetermined hierarchy may be performed according to an original displaying order of multiple windows, for example, when the electronic device does not have multiple display units, the window corresponding to the application a is displayed in front of the window displayed by the application B, and the user preferentially views the window corresponding to the application a, so that when the multiple windows are displayed in the multiple display units, the window corresponding to the application a is still displayed in front of the window displayed by the application B.
FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of a multi-window display of an electronic device according to the present invention when the foldable screen has a first shape; in fig. 2, taking as an example that the foldable screen is folded into two faces (face 1 and face 2), face 1 is the display unit 1, and face 2 is the display unit 2; two windows which are supposed to be operated by the electronic equipment are respectively a window 1 and a window 2, the two windows are small windows, and the two windows correspond to different applications; in the display unit 1, the small window 1 and the small window 2 are displayed in a multi-window tiled mode, and in the display unit 2, a window cross section corresponding to the small window 1 and a window cross section corresponding to the small window 2 are displayed in a laminated mode. If the priority of the application 1 corresponding to the small window 1 is higher than that of the application 2 corresponding to the small window 2, the electronic equipment displays the small window 1 in front of the small window 2 in the display unit 1; in the display unit 2, the electronic device displays the window cross section of the small window 1 in front of the window cross section of the small window 2 for the convenience of viewing by the user.

In addition, the schematic diagram shown in fig. 2 is only one embodiment of the present invention, and does not cover all technical solutions of the present invention.
Therefore, in the embodiment of the invention, the two folding surfaces adjacent to the first folding angle are used as the two display units, and the two display units respectively display the running windows in a preset display form, so that the split-screen display of the foldable screen is realized; when a plurality of running windows are provided, the running windows can be windows corresponding to a plurality of different applications, the problem that all display units of the foldable screen electronic equipment can only display the same application content is solved, the versatility of the electronic equipment is highlighted, and the user experience is improved.
The second method embodiment:
based on the first embodiment of the method, fig. 3 is a schematic flow chart illustrating an implementation of a second embodiment of the display method according to the present invention; as shown in fig. 3, the method further comprises:
step 301: when the running windows are multiple, receiving a first operation instruction of a first window in the displayed running windows;
here, the first operation instruction may be an instruction of extracting, selecting, dragging, or rotating, and the first operation of the user, such as extracting, selecting, dragging, or rotating, is received by the first window of the electronic device.
Step 302: respectively displaying the content of the first application corresponding to the first window in a plurality of display units according to the first operation instruction; or displaying the content of the first application corresponding to the first window in a display unit where the first operation instruction is received according to the first operation instruction.
Here, different gestures can be adopted between different operations to distinguish operation instructions; the method includes the steps that between the same operation, whether the content of a first application corresponding to a first window is respectively displayed in a plurality of display units or the content of the first application corresponding to the first window is displayed in a display unit receiving a first operation instruction is distinguished by obtaining and judging the attribute of the first operation corresponding to the first operation instruction, such as the operation area or the operation duration of the first operation. For example, when the operation area of the first operation is judged not to exceed a first predetermined area or the operation duration of the first operation is judged not to exceed a first predetermined duration, it is determined that the received first operation is an operation on the display unit receiving the first operation, and the content of the first application corresponding to the first window is only displayed in the display unit receiving the first operation instruction; otherwise, determining that the received first operation instruction is an operation for a plurality of display units, and displaying the content of the first application corresponding to the first window in the plurality of display units respectively.
