Detailed Description
In order to make the technical solutions of the present invention better understood, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The first embodiment is as follows:
referring to fig. 1, the figure is a schematic structural diagram of a control device of a cooling fan according to an embodiment of the present application.
The control device of radiator fan that this application embodiment provided includes: a first path of PWM detection circuit 101, a second path of PWM detection circuit 102 and a control unit 103;
the control unit 103 may be a PC or a server.
One end of the first path of PWM detection circuit 101 is connected to the control unit 103; one end of the second path of PWM detecting circuit 102 is connected to the control unit 103.
The first PWM detection circuit 101 is configured to detect whether a first PWM signal is normal, and when the first PWM signal is normal, output the first PWM signal to the control unit 103, otherwise output an invalid signal to the control unit 103;
the second PWM detection circuit 102 is configured to detect whether the second PWM signal is normal, and output the second PWM signal to the control unit 103 when the second PWM signal is normal, otherwise output an invalid signal to the control unit 103;
and the control unit 103 is configured to control the operation of the cooling fan by using the other path of signal when determining that the received one path of signal is the invalid signal.
It should be noted that, when one path of PWM signal fails, the control unit 103 sends an alarm signal to prompt the user to perform maintenance in time.
The control device of the cooling fan provided by the embodiment of the application has three working states, wherein the first working state is as follows: the first path of PWM signals is normal and the second path of PWM signals is normal; the second working state is as follows: the first path of PWM signal has a fault and the second path of PWM signal is normal; the third working state is as follows: the first path of PWM signals is normal and the second path of PWM signals has faults.
In order to facilitate understanding of different operating states of the control device of the cooling fan provided in the embodiments of the present application, the first operating state to the third operating state will be sequentially described in detail below.
The first working state: the first path of PWM signals is normal and the second path of PWM signals is normal.
When the first PWM signal is normal, the first PWM detection circuit 101 obtains a normal detection result of the first PWM signal, and outputs the first PWM signal to the control unit 103; when the second PWM signal is normal, the second PWM detection circuit 102 obtains a normal detection result of the second PWM signal, and outputs the second PWM signal to the control unit 103.
However, after the control unit 103 receives the first path of signal and the second path of signal, firstly, the control unit 103 determines that both the first path of signal and the second path of signal are PWM signals; then, the control unit 103 controls the operation of the cooling fan according to the first PWM signal and the second PWM signal.
There are various ways for the control unit 103 to control the operation of the cooling fan according to the first PWM signal and the second PWM signal. Three exemplary modes of operation will now be described.
The first way to control the operation of the cooling fan is: one path of PWM signal is preset as a decision signal, and when the control unit 103 determines that the first path of signal and the second path of signal are both PWM signals, the control unit 103 controls the cooling fan to operate according to the decision signal. If the first path of PWM signal is preset as a decision signal, when the control unit 103 determines that the first path of signal and the second path of signal are both PWM signals, the control unit 103 controls the cooling fan to operate according to the first path of PWM signal; if the second channel of PWM signals is preset as the decision signal, and when the control unit 103 determines that the first channel of PWM signals and the second channel of PWM signals are both PWM signals, the control unit 103 controls the operation of the cooling fan according to the second channel of PWM signals.
The second way to control the operation of the cooling fan is: and the control unit 103 is configured to control the operation of the cooling fan by using the one-path PWM signal with higher frequency when it is determined that the two received signals are both PWM signals. For example, if the frequency of the first PWM signal is f1 and the frequency of the second PWM signal is f2, if f1> f2, after the control unit 103 determines that the first PWM signal and the second PWM signal are both PWM signals, the control unit 103 controls the cooling fan to operate according to the first PWM signal; if f1 is f2, after the control unit 103 determines that the first path of signal and the second path of signal are both PWM signals, the control unit 103 controls the cooling fan to operate according to the first path of PWM signal or the second path of PWM signal; if f1< f2, after the control unit 103 determines that the first path of signal and the second path of signal are both PWM signals, the control unit 103 controls the operation of the cooling fan according to the second path of PWM signal.
The second mode of controlling the operation of the cooling fan selects one path of PWM signal with higher frequency to control the operation of the cooling fan, so that the cooling fan is adjusted to a higher rotating speed, and the second mode of controlling the operation of the cooling fan has the advantages of best heat dissipation performance and is suitable for the control equipment of the cooling fan with high heat dissipation performance requirements.
The third way to control the operation of the cooling fan is: and the control unit 103 is configured to control the cooling fan to work by using the lower-frequency one of the PWM signals when it is determined that the two received signals are both PWM signals. For example, if the frequency of the first PWM signal is f1 and the frequency of the second PWM signal is f2, if f1> f2, after the control unit 103 determines that the first PWM signal and the second PWM signal are both PWM signals, the control unit 103 controls the cooling fan to operate according to the second PWM signal; if f1 is f2, after the control unit 103 determines that the first path of signal and the second path of signal are both PWM signals, the control unit 103 controls the cooling fan to operate according to the first path of PWM signal or the second path of PWM signal; if f1< f2, after the control unit 103 determines that the first path of signal and the second path of signal are both PWM signals, the control unit 103 controls the operation of the cooling fan according to the first path of PWM signal.
The third mode of controlling the operation of the cooling fan selects one path of PWM signal with lower frequency to control the operation of the cooling fan, so that the cooling fan is adjusted to a lower rotating speed, and the third mode of controlling the operation of the cooling fan has the advantages of minimum power consumption and suitability for energy-saving control equipment of the cooling fan.
The second working state: the first path of PWM signal has a fault and the second path of PWM signal is normal.
When the first PWM signal fails, the first PWM detection circuit 101 obtains a detection result of the first PWM signal failure, and outputs an invalid signal to the control unit 103; when the second PWM signal is normal, the second PWM detection circuit 102 obtains a normal detection result of the second PWM signal, and outputs the second PWM signal to the control unit 103.
However, after the control unit 103 receives the first path of signal and the second path of signal, firstly, the control unit 103 determines that the first path of signal is an invalid signal and the second path of signal is a PWM signal; then, the control unit 103 will control the operation of the heat dissipation fan according to the second path of PWM signal.
The third working state is as follows: the first path of PWM signals is normal and the second path of PWM signals has faults.
When the first PWM signal is normal, the first PWM detection circuit 101 obtains a normal detection result of the first PWM signal, and outputs the first PWM signal to the control unit 103; when the second PWM signal has a fault, the second PWM detection circuit 102 will obtain a detection result of the second PWM signal, and output an invalid signal to the control unit 103.
However, after the control unit 103 receives the first path of signal and the second path of signal, firstly, the control unit 103 determines that the first path of signal is a PWM signal and the second path of signal is an invalid signal; then, the control unit 103 controls the operation of the cooling fan according to the first PWM signal.
The application provides a radiator fan's controlgear includes: a first path of PWM detection circuit 101, a second path of PWM detection circuit 102 and a control unit 103; the first PWM detection circuit 101 is configured to detect whether a first PWM signal is normal, and when the first PWM signal is normal, output the first PWM signal to the control unit 103, otherwise output an invalid signal to the control unit 103; the second PWM detection circuit 102 is configured to detect whether the second PWM signal is normal, and output the second PWM signal to the control unit 103 when the second PWM signal is normal, otherwise output an invalid signal to the control unit 103; and the control unit 103 is configured to control the operation of the cooling fan by using the other path of signal when determining that the received one path of signal is the invalid signal. In the circuit, when one path of PWM signal fails, the corresponding PWM detection circuit outputs an invalid signal to the control unit 103, and the control unit 103 of the circuit recognizes the invalid signal and controls the operation of the cooling fan by using the other path of PWM signal, so that the cooling fan is normally adjusted in speed, and power consumption and noise generation are reduced.
Based on the control device for the cooling fan provided by the above embodiment, in order to automatically control the cooling fan, the embodiment of the present application further provides a control device for the cooling fan, which is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Example two:
referring to fig. 2, the figure is a schematic structural diagram of a control device of a cooling fan according to a second embodiment of the present application.
The control device of the cooling fan provided by the embodiment of the application comprises: a first path of PWM detection circuit 101, a second path of PWM detection circuit 102, a control unit 103, a first controller 201 and a second controller 202;
it should be noted that, the first PWM detection circuit 101, the second PWM detection circuit 102, and the control unit 103 in the control device provided by the present application are the same as those in the first embodiment, and are not described herein again.
The first controller 201 and the second controller 202 may be a microprocessor or a single chip microcomputer.
A first end of the first PWM detection circuit 101 is connected to the first controller 201, and a second end of the first PWM detection circuit 101 is connected to the control unit 103; the first controller 201 outputs a first PWM signal.
A first end of the second PWM detection circuit 102 is connected with the second controller 202, and a second end of the second PWM detection circuit 102 is connected with the control unit 103; wherein the second controller 202 outputs the second PWM signal.
The first controller 201 is configured to output the first PWM signal according to an ambient temperature;
the second controller 202 is configured to output the second PWM signal according to the ambient temperature.
The working process of the control equipment of the cooling fan provided by the embodiment of the application specifically comprises the following steps: firstly, according to the ambient temperature, the first controller 201 outputs a first path of PWM signals and the second controller 202 outputs a second path of PWM signals; secondly, the first PWM detection circuit 101 detects whether the first PWM signal is normal and outputs the corresponding first PWM signal to the control unit 103 according to the detection result, and the second PWM detection circuit 102 detects whether the second PWM signal is normal and outputs the corresponding second PWM signal to the control unit 103 according to the detection result; then, the control unit 103 determines whether the first path of signal and the second path of signal are invalid signals, and controls the cooling fan to work by using the other path of signal when determining that the received one path of signal is invalid; and when the received two paths of signals are judged to be PWM signals, controlling the work of the cooling fan by using one path of PWM signal with higher frequency.
The disable signal is for marking the defective PWM signal so that the defective PWM signal is distinguished from the normal PWM signal, and thus the disable signal may be represented by a specific symbol. For example, the invalid signal is 0.
When a PWM signal fails, the PWM signal may not be recognized, and when a failed PWM signal can be recognized, the frequency of the PWM signal will be a high frequency or a low frequency. Therefore, in the control device, the method for the PWM detection circuit to detect whether the corresponding one of the PWM signals is normal may be to determine whether the PWM signal is normal according to the frequency of the received PWM signal.
For example, the detecting of whether the first PWM signal is normal by the first PWM detecting circuit 101 specifically includes:
the first PWM detection circuit 101 detects whether the frequency of the first PWM signal is within a preset frequency range, and if the frequency exceeds the preset frequency range or cannot be identified, determines that the first PWM signal has a fault;
the second PWM detecting circuit 102 detects whether the second PWM signal is normal, and specifically includes:
the second PWM detection circuit 102 detects whether the frequency of the second PWM signal is within a preset frequency range, and if the frequency exceeds the preset frequency range or cannot be identified, determines that the second PWM signal has a fault;
the preset frequency range includes all frequencies of the PWM signal when the PWM signal is normal, and when the PWM signal fails, the frequency of the PWM signal is lower than the minimum value in the preset frequency range or higher than the maximum value in the preset frequency range.
For convenience of description and better understanding of the technical solutions provided by the present application for those skilled in the art, the following description will take the first PWM signal failure and the second PWM signal normal as examples.
Assuming that the preset frequency range is [ fmin, fmax ]; the frequency of the first path of PWM signal is f3, and f3 is fmin; the frequency of the second path of PWM signals is f4, and fmin < f4< fmax.
The working process of the control equipment of the cooling fan provided by the embodiment of the application is as follows:
first, the first controller 201 outputs a first PWM signal according to the ambient temperature, and the frequency of the first PWM signal is f 3; the second controller 202 outputs the second PWM signal according to the ambient temperature, and the frequency of the second PWM signal is f 4.
Then, when the first PWM detection circuit 101 detects that the frequency f3 of the first PWM signal is not within the preset frequency range [ fmin, fmax ], it determines that the first PWM signal has a fault, and outputs 0 as an invalid signal to the control unit 103; when the second PWM detection circuit 102 detects that the frequency f4 of the second PWM signal is within the preset frequency range [ fmin, fmax ], it is determined that the second PWM signal is normal, and the second PWM signal is output to the control unit 103.
Finally, the control unit 103 determines that the first path of signal is an invalid signal according to the signal 0 sent by the first path of PWM detection circuit 101, and determines that the second path of signal is a PWM signal according to the second path of PWM signal sent by the second path of PWM detection circuit 102, so that the control unit 103 controls the operation of the cooling fan by using the second path of PWM signal, and sends an alarm signal to prompt a user to timely overhaul the control device of the cooling fan.
Since the first controller 201 and the second controller 202 need to output the PWM signal according to the ambient temperature, a control device of the heat dissipation fan should have a means for collecting the temperature. For example, the control device of the cooling fan further includes a temperature sensor; the temperature sensor is used for obtaining the ambient temperature.
The control device of the cooling fan provided by the embodiment of the application further includes a first controller 201 and a second controller 202, where the first controller 201 is configured to output the first path of PWM signal according to an ambient temperature; the second controller 202 is configured to output the second PWM signal according to the ambient temperature. The control equipment can automatically output corresponding PWM signals according to the ambient temperature, so that the rotating speed of the cooling fan can be automatically adjusted. For example, the higher the ambient temperature, the higher the frequency of the PWM signal, and the greater the corresponding fan speed.
Based on the control device of the cooling fan provided by the above embodiments, embodiments of the present application provide a control system of the cooling fan, which is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Example three:
referring to fig. 3, the figure is a schematic structural diagram of a control system of a cooling fan according to a third embodiment of the present application.
The control system of radiator fan that this application embodiment provided includes: the control device 301, the cooling fan 302 and the storage device 303 of the cooling fan provided in the above embodiments;
the control device 301 of the heat dissipation fan is configured to control the heat dissipation fan 302 to dissipate heat for the storage device 303.
The storage device 303 will generate heat during use, thereby causing an increase in the temperature of the environment surrounding the storage device 303, however, the increase in the ambient temperature may affect the proper operation of the storage device 303 and even damage the storage device 303.
In order to improve the heat dissipation efficiency of the heat dissipation fan 302, the heat dissipation fan 302 needs to be installed around the storage device 303. For example, the heat dissipation fan 302 is mounted on a frame of the storage device 303.
The specific process of the control system of the cooling fan provided by the embodiment of the application is as follows: firstly, the control device 301 of the cooling fan outputs a first path of PWM signal and a second path of PWM signal according to the ambient temperature; secondly, the control device 301 of the cooling fan detects whether the first path of PWM signal and the second path of PWM signal are normal, and outputs the corresponding first path of signal and second path of signal to the control unit in the circuit according to the detection result; then, the control unit in the control device 301 of the cooling fan will respectively determine whether the two signals are invalid signals, and when it is determined that the received signal is an invalid signal, the other signal is used to control the cooling fan 302 to cool the storage device 303; when the two received signals are both PWM signals, the one PWM signal with higher frequency is used to control the heat dissipation fan 302 to dissipate heat for the storage device 303.
The control system of radiator fan that this application embodiment provided includes: the control device 301, the cooling fan and the storage device 303 of the cooling fan provided in the above embodiments; the control device 301 of the heat dissipation fan is configured to control the heat dissipation fan 302 to dissipate heat for the storage device 303. According to the ambient temperature, the system adjusts the rotating speed of the cooling fan 302 through the control device 301 of the cooling fan, so that the storage device 303 is effectively cooled, and the power consumption and the noise generation are reduced.
Based on the control device of the cooling fan provided by the above embodiments, embodiments of the present application provide a control method of the cooling fan, which is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 4, the figure is a flowchart of a control method of a cooling fan according to an embodiment of the present application.
The control method of the cooling fan provided by the embodiment of the application is applied to the control device of the cooling fan provided by the embodiment, and comprises the following steps:
s401: detecting whether a first path of PWM signal is normal, and outputting the first path of PWM signal to the control unit when the first path of PWM signal is normal, otherwise, outputting an invalid signal to the control unit;
wherein the disable signal is used to mark the failed PWM signal so that the failed PWM signal is distinguished from the normal PWM signal, and thus the disable signal can be represented by a specific symbol. For example, the invalid signal is 0.
S402: detecting whether a second path of PWM signals is normal, and outputting the second path of PWM signals to the control unit when the second path of PWM signals is normal, otherwise, outputting invalid signals to the control unit;
it should be noted that: s401 and S402 have no fixed sequence, and can be performed with S401 and S402; or S402 can be performed first and then S401 can be performed; s401 and S402 may also be performed simultaneously.
S403: and when judging that the received signal is an invalid signal, controlling the work of the cooling fan by using the other signal.
The control method of the cooling fan provided by the embodiment of the application comprises the following steps: detecting whether a first path of PWM signal is normal, and outputting the first path of PWM signal to the control unit when the first path of PWM signal is normal, otherwise, outputting an invalid signal to the control unit; detecting whether a second path of PWM signals is normal, and outputting the second path of PWM signals to the control unit when the second path of PWM signals is normal, otherwise, outputting invalid signals to the control unit; and when judging that the received signal is an invalid signal, controlling the work of the cooling fan by using the other signal. When one path of PWM signal fails, the method replaces the path of PWM signal with an invalid signal to send the invalid signal to the control unit, then the control unit identifies the invalid signal and controls the cooling fan to work by using the other path of PWM signal, so that the cooling fan can normally regulate the speed, and the power consumption and the noise generation are reduced.
