Description

Control method and device for carrier aggregation function
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communication control, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for controlling a carrier aggregation function.
Background
With The development of mobile communication technology, user traffic and data throughput are increasing, and The 3rd Generation communication (3G) system cannot completely meet The user's requirements. Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology is used as the Evolution of 3G systems, LTE-Advanced is a further Evolution of LTE, and LTE-Advanced proposes to support 100MHz traffic maximally. However, existing spectrum allocation techniques and plans are difficult to find a whole band enough to carry 100MHz traffic of the LTE-Advanced system, and therefore, the 3rd generation Partnership Project (3 GPP) organization proposes to use Carrier Aggregation (CA) technology to solve the requirement of the LTE-Advanced system for band resources.
The CA technology can well aggregate a plurality of carriers into a wider frequency spectrum, and can also aggregate discontinuous frequency spectrum fragments together, thereby realizing the maximum transmission flow of 100MHz, improving the uplink and downlink transmission rate of the terminal and bringing good experience to users. Compared with a single carrier network terminal, the terminal in the CA radio frequency working mode needs to be internally provided with more radio frequency transceiving circuits and more complex modulation and demodulation programs, and is necessary to generate larger power consumption when the terminal operates, so that the service time of a terminal battery is shortened. In the actual working process of the mobile terminal, tasks to be completed by some processes (for example, downloading files) in the running processes of the mobile terminal can be satisfied in a single carrier radio frequency working mode. In the prior art, no matter what process the mobile terminal runs, the CA function of the mobile terminal is in a working state, and the mobile terminal continuously performs carrier aggregation network communication with the base station, which wastes the battery power of the mobile terminal and reduces the cruising ability of the mobile terminal.

Furthermore, the terms "comprises" and any variations thereof, are intended to cover non-exclusive inclusions. For example, a process, method, system, article, or apparatus that comprises a list of steps or elements is not limited to only those steps or elements listed, but may alternatively include other steps or elements not listed, or inherent to such process, method, article, or apparatus.
In a specific implementation, the mobile terminal described in the embodiment of the present invention may include: the present invention relates to a Mobile terminal, and more particularly to a Mobile terminal, a Mobile Internet Device (MID), a smart wearable device (e.g., a smart watch, a smart bracelet), and a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). The following takes a mobile phone as an example to specifically describe a method and an apparatus for controlling a carrier aggregation function provided in the embodiments of the present invention.
In order to better understand the method and apparatus for controlling the carrier aggregation function provided in the embodiment of the present invention, a data transmission format in the carrier aggregation radio frequency operating mode provided in the embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to fig. 1.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of data transmission of a mobile terminal in a carrier aggregation radio frequency operating mode according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the carrier aggregation is formed by aggregating a component carrier a and a component carrier B through a radio frequency transceiver circuit a and a radio frequency transceiver circuit B, respectively, by an aggregation unit, so as to implement data transmission between a base station and a mobile terminal. In a specific implementation, the radio frequency working mode built in the mobile phone may include a single carrier radio frequency working mode and a carrier aggregation radio frequency working mode, the mobile phone may have a plurality of radio frequency transceiving paths, and when the mobile phone is in the carrier aggregation radio frequency working mode, the plurality of radio frequency transceiving paths may simultaneously work to transmit and process a multi-carrier signal between the mobile phone and the server. When the mobile phone is in the single carrier radio frequency working mode, the base station can select one of the radio frequency transceiving channels to transmit and process the single carrier signal between the mobile phone and the server.
The method and the device for controlling the carrier aggregation function provided by the embodiment of the invention can check the size of the file to be downloaded through the data detection module of the appointed webpage, and determine whether to start the radio frequency working mode of the carrier aggregation according to the size of the file to be downloaded and the residual flow rate limit of the mobile terminal, namely whether to start the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone. The following describes a method and an apparatus for controlling a carrier aggregation function according to an embodiment of the present invention with reference to fig. 2 to 6.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a method for controlling a carrier aggregation function according to a first embodiment of the present invention. The method described in the embodiment of the invention comprises the following steps:
s101, when the mobile terminal detects the progress of downloading the file, starting a data detection module of the appointed webpage.
In some feasible embodiments, the mobile phone may monitor a process in which the mobile phone is started or running during a running process, and when the mobile phone detects a process of downloading a file, it may be known that the mobile phone is currently ready to download the file, that is, a file to be downloaded needs to be downloaded. After the mobile phone detects the progress of downloading the file, the data detection module of the appointed webpage of the mobile phone can be called, and the data detection module of the appointed webpage is started to detect the size of the file to be downloaded. The data detection module of the specified webpage may be a data detection module included in a browser to which the webpage of the file to be downloaded belongs is searched, may also be a webpage data detection module provided by a specific mobile phone application installed in a mobile phone or a browser, or a webpage data detection module provided by the mobile phone itself, and the like, which is not limited herein. Wherein, the mobile phone application may include: a cell phone housekeeper, a cell phone assistant, a cell phone security guard, or a cell phone tray, etc., without limitation.
And S102, the mobile terminal detects the size of the file to be downloaded through the data detection module of the appointed webpage, and determines the processing level of the file to be downloaded according to the size of the file to be downloaded.
In some feasible embodiments, after the mobile phone starts the data detection module of the designated webpage, the size of the file to be downloaded can be detected through the data detection module of the designated webpage, and then the processing level of the file to be downloaded can be determined according to the size of the file to be downloaded. In a specific implementation, the mobile phone may divide the processing level of the file to be downloaded into a first processing level and a second processing level in advance, and the files with different sizes may correspond to the same processing level or different processing levels. Specifically, the mobile phone may set a preset file threshold, so as to determine the processing level of the file to be downloaded according to the preset file threshold and the size of the file to be downloaded in the file downloading process. That is, the mobile phone may perform processing level classification on the files to be downloaded with different sizes according to the preset file threshold, may set the processing level of the file to be downloaded as the first processing level or the second processing level, and may specifically be determined according to the size relationship between the size of the file to be downloaded and the preset file threshold.
S103, the mobile terminal determines the available remaining flow limit through the flow monitoring module.
In some possible embodiments, the mobile phone needs to consume a certain data traffic when downloading the file, and the mobile phone may determine whether to download the file according to the size of the currently available remaining traffic limit. In a specific implementation, the mobile phone may determine the remaining traffic limit currently available to the mobile phone through a traffic monitoring module included in a traffic monitoring application installed on the mobile phone, where the traffic monitoring application may include: a cell phone housekeeper, a cell phone security guard, or a cell phone assistant, etc., without limitation. The traffic monitoring module may be a functional module included in the various traffic monitoring applications, and is not limited herein. The available remaining traffic quota is a quota difference between a total traffic and an available traffic provided in the service package to which the mobile phone belongs, for example, if the service package to which the mobile phone belongs includes 100M free traffic (including dedicated traffic or general traffic of a network such as 2G, 3G, or 4G), and the current available traffic is 50M, the remaining traffic quota currently available for the mobile phone is 50M.
S104, when the carrier aggregation function of the mobile terminal is in a closed state, if the flow required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is not less than a preset flow threshold value and the residual flow limit is greater than the preset flow threshold value, starting the carrier aggregation function of the mobile terminal.
In some possible embodiments, after the mobile phone determines the processing level of the file to be downloaded, the required flow rate of the file to be downloaded may be determined according to the processing level of the file to be downloaded. Specifically, the mobile phone may preset a traffic threshold, where the preset traffic threshold is used to determine whether the carrier aggregation function needs to be started, that is, the preset traffic threshold is a trigger traffic value for starting the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone. After determining the flow rate required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded, the mobile phone can compare the flow rate required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded with a preset flow rate threshold value, and judge whether the flow rate required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is greater than or equal to the preset flow rate threshold value. When the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone is in a closed state, that is, the current radio frequency working mode of the mobile phone is a single carrier radio frequency working mode, if the mobile phone determines that the flow required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is greater than or equal to the preset flow threshold and the residual flow limit is greater than the preset flow threshold, the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone can be started, that is, the radio frequency working mode of the mobile phone is switched from the single carrier radio frequency working mode to the carrier aggregation radio frequency working mode. And if the flow required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded determined by the mobile phone is smaller than the preset flow threshold, keeping the closing state of the carrier aggregation function, and defaulting to use a single carrier radio frequency working mode of the mobile phone.
And S105, when the carrier aggregation function of the mobile terminal is in an open state, if the flow required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is smaller than a preset flow threshold, closing the carrier aggregation function of the mobile terminal.
In some possible embodiments, after determining the flow rate required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded, if it is determined that the flow rate required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is smaller than the preset flow rate threshold, it may be determined that the file to be downloaded can be downloaded only in the single carrier radio frequency operating mode. At this time, if the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone is in an on state, the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone may be turned off, and the radio frequency operating mode of the mobile phone is switched from the carrier aggregation radio frequency operating mode to the single carrier radio frequency operating mode.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the mobile phone detects the progress of downloading the file, the data detection module of the appointed webpage is started, the size of the file to be downloaded is detected through the data detection module of the appointed webpage, and the processing level of the file to be downloaded is determined according to the size of the file to be downloaded. The mobile phone can also obtain the available residual flow rate limit through the flow monitoring module so as to determine whether to start the carrier aggregation function according to the processing level of the file to be downloaded, the residual flow rate limit and other information, thereby enhancing the controllability of the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone. When the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone is in a closed state, if the flow required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is not less than a preset flow threshold value and the residual flow limit is greater than the preset flow threshold value, starting the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone; when the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone is in an open state, if the flow required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is smaller than a preset flow threshold, the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone is closed, so that the waste of the electric quantity of a battery of the mobile phone can be reduced, the controllability of the working state of the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone is enhanced, and the cruising ability of the mobile phone is enhanced.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a second embodiment of a method for controlling a carrier aggregation function according to an embodiment of the present invention. The method described in the embodiment of the invention comprises the following steps:
s201, when the mobile terminal detects the progress of downloading the file, starting a data detection module of the appointed webpage.
In a specific implementation, the specific implementation process of the data detection module for starting the specified web page may refer to the implementation manner described in step S101 in the first embodiment, and is not described herein again.
S202, the mobile terminal detects the size of the file to be downloaded through the data detection module of the appointed webpage, and determines the processing level of the file to be downloaded according to the size of the file to be downloaded.
In a specific implementation, the mobile phone detects the size of the file to be downloaded through the data detection module of the designated webpage, and a specific implementation process of determining the processing level of the file to be downloaded according to the size of the file to be downloaded may refer to the implementation manner described in step S102 in the above first embodiment, which is not described herein again.
Further, in some possible embodiments, after the mobile phone sets the preset file threshold, and after the mobile phone detects the size of the file to be downloaded, the size relationship between the size of the file to be downloaded and the preset file threshold may be determined. Furthermore, the mobile phone can also set the corresponding relationship between the size of the file to be downloaded and the preset file threshold and the processing level of the file to be downloaded, and further can determine the processing level of the file to be downloaded according to the size of the file to be downloaded. Specifically, the mobile phone may set the processing level of each file to be downloaded as the first processing level or the second processing level, which may be determined according to the size of the file to be downloaded. When the size of the file to be downloaded is smaller than the preset file threshold value, the mobile phone can set the processing level of the file to be downloaded as a second processing level; when the size of the file to be downloaded is not smaller than the preset file threshold, the mobile phone can set the processing level of the file to be downloaded as a first processing level. The size of the preset file threshold may be determined according to an actual application scenario, and is not limited herein.
Further, after the mobile phone sets the corresponding relationship between the size of the file to be downloaded and the preset file threshold and the processing level of the file to be downloaded, the corresponding relationship can be stored in the designated storage space of the mobile phone. The specified storage space of the mobile phone may include: the mobile phone system memory, the mobile phone external memory (for example, an SD card), or the cloud storage space of the mobile phone, etc., are not limited herein. Wherein, the file to be downloaded includes: video files, audio files, picture files, text files, system files, and the like, without limitation.
S203, the mobile terminal determines the available remaining flow limit through the flow monitoring module.
In a specific implementation, a specific implementation process of the mobile phone obtaining the available remaining traffic limit through the traffic monitoring module may refer to an implementation manner described in step S103 in the first embodiment, and details are not described herein again.
S204, when the carrier aggregation function of the mobile terminal is in a closed state, if the residual flow limit is smaller than the preset flow threshold, outputting a prompt message to remind a mobile terminal user of whether to continue downloading the file.
In some possible embodiments, the mobile phone may preset a traffic threshold, where the preset traffic threshold is used to determine whether the carrier aggregation function needs to be started, that is, the preset traffic threshold is a trigger traffic value for starting the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone. After determining the available remaining traffic limit, the mobile phone first determines whether the remaining traffic limit is greater than a preset traffic threshold. If the remaining flow limit is larger than the preset flow threshold, the mobile phone can continue to download the file. When the mobile phone judges that the residual flow limit is smaller than the preset flow threshold, the prompt message can be output to remind the mobile phone user of selecting whether to download the file or not, and whether to continue downloading the file or not is determined according to the selection of the mobile phone user, so that extra consumption caused by excessive consumption of flow to the user can be avoided.
S205, when the mobile terminal user selects to continue downloading the file and the flow required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is not less than a preset flow threshold, starting a carrier aggregation function of the mobile terminal.
In some possible embodiments, when the user of the mobile phone selects to continue downloading the file, and the traffic required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is not less than the preset traffic threshold, the mobile phone may start the carrier aggregation function. Namely, the radio frequency working mode of the mobile phone is switched from the single carrier radio frequency working mode to the carrier aggregation radio frequency working mode. And if the flow required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded determined by the mobile phone is smaller than the preset flow threshold, keeping the closing state of the carrier aggregation function, and defaulting to use a single carrier radio frequency working mode of the mobile phone.
And S206, when the carrier aggregation function of the mobile terminal is in an open state, if the flow required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is smaller than a preset flow threshold, closing the carrier aggregation function of the mobile terminal.
The mobile phone can also determine whether to continue downloading the file according to the available residual flow limit and the flow required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded, and further can prompt a mobile phone user to select whether to continue downloading so as to prevent additional consumption caused by excessive consumption of the flow and enhance the user experience of the mobile phone. and when the mobile terminal user selects to continue downloading the file and the flow required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is not less than a preset flow threshold value, starting a carrier aggregation function of the mobile terminal.
In some possible embodiments, the processing level of the file to be downloaded includes: a first processing level or a second processing level;
the determining module 40 is specifically configured to:
when the size of the file to be downloaded is larger than a preset file threshold value, determining the processing level of the file to be downloaded as a first processing level;
and when the size of the file to be downloaded is smaller than or equal to a preset file threshold value, determining the processing level of the file to be downloaded as a second processing level.
In some possible embodiments, the determining module 40 is further configured to:
when the processing level of the file to be downloaded is a first processing level, determining that the flow required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is not less than a preset flow threshold value;
and when the processing level of the file to be downloaded is a second processing level, determining that the flow required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is smaller than a preset flow threshold value.
In some possible embodiments, the mobile phone may monitor a process of starting or running the mobile phone through the starting module 10 during running of the mobile phone, and when the starting module 10 detects a process of downloading a file, it may be known that the mobile phone is currently ready to download the file, that is, a file to be downloaded needs to be downloaded. After the starting module 10 detects the progress of obtaining the downloaded file, the data detection module of the designated webpage of the mobile phone can be called, and the data detection module of the designated webpage is started to detect the size of the file to be downloaded.
In some possible embodiments, after the starting module 10 starts the data detection module of the designated webpage, the determining module 20 may detect the size of the file to be downloaded through the data detection module of the designated webpage, and may determine the processing level of the file to be downloaded according to the size of the file to be downloaded. In a specific implementation, the determining module 20 may divide the processing level of the file to be downloaded into a first processing level and a second processing level in advance, and the files with different sizes may correspond to the same processing level or different processing levels. Specifically, the determining module 20 may set a preset file threshold, so as to determine the processing level of the file to be downloaded according to the preset file threshold and the size of the file to be downloaded in the file downloading process. That is, the determining module 20 may perform processing level classification on the files to be downloaded with different sizes according to the preset file threshold, may set the processing level of the file to be downloaded as the first processing level or the second processing level, and may specifically determine according to the size relationship between the size of the file to be downloaded and the preset file threshold.
Further, in some possible embodiments, after the determining module 20 sets the preset file threshold, and after the size of the file to be downloaded is detected, the size relationship between the size of the file to be downloaded and the preset file threshold may be determined. Further, the determining module 20 may further set a corresponding relationship between the size of the file to be downloaded and a preset file threshold and the processing level of the file to be downloaded, and further determine the processing level of the file to be downloaded according to the size of the file to be downloaded. Specifically, the determining module 20 may set the processing level of each file to be downloaded as a first processing level or a second processing level, and may specifically determine the processing level according to the size of the file to be downloaded. When the size of the file to be downloaded is smaller than the preset file threshold, the determining module 20 may set the processing level of the file to be downloaded to a second processing level; when the size of the file to be downloaded is not smaller than the preset file threshold, the determining module 20 may set the processing level of the file to be downloaded as a first processing level. The size of the preset file threshold may be determined according to an actual application scenario, and is not limited herein.
Further, after the determining module 20 sets the corresponding relationship between the size of the file to be downloaded and the preset file threshold and the processing level of the file to be downloaded, the corresponding relationship may be stored in the designated storage space of the mobile phone.
In some possible embodiments, the mobile phone needs to consume a certain data traffic when downloading the file, and the mobile phone may determine whether to download the file according to the size of the currently available remaining traffic limit. In a specific implementation, the obtaining module 30 may determine the remaining traffic limit currently available for the mobile phone through a traffic monitoring application installed on the mobile phone, where the traffic monitoring application may include: a cell phone housekeeper, a cell phone security guard, or a cell phone assistant, etc., without limitation.
In some possible embodiments, after the determining module 20 determines the processing level of the file to be downloaded, the flow rate required by the file to be downloaded can be determined according to the processing level of the file to be downloaded. Specifically, the determining module 20 may preset a flow threshold, where the preset flow threshold is used to determine whether the carrier aggregation function needs to be started, that is, the preset flow threshold is a trigger flow value for starting the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone. After the determining module 20 determines the flow rate required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded, the flow rate required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded may be compared with a preset flow rate threshold, and whether the flow rate required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is greater than or equal to the preset flow rate threshold is determined. After the obtaining module 30 determines the available remaining traffic, the control module 40 may first determine whether the remaining traffic is greater than a predetermined traffic threshold. If the remaining flow limit is larger than the preset flow threshold, the mobile phone can continue to download the file. When the control module 40 determines that the remaining flow rate is less than the preset flow threshold, the prompt module 50 may output a prompt message to prompt the mobile phone user to select whether to download the file, and the control module 40 may determine whether to continue downloading the file according to the selection of the mobile phone user, so as to avoid excessive consumption of the flow rate to bring additional consumption to the user.
In some possible embodiments, when the user of the mobile phone selects to continue downloading the file, the mobile phone may continue to run the process of downloading the file, and complete the downloading of the file to be downloaded. When the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone is in a closed state, that is, the current radio frequency working mode of the mobile phone is a single carrier radio frequency working mode, if the control module 40 determines that the flow rate required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is greater than or equal to the preset flow rate threshold value and the remaining flow rate limit is greater than the preset flow rate threshold value, the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone can be started, that is, the control module 40 can switch the radio frequency working mode of the mobile phone from the single carrier radio frequency working mode to the carrier aggregation radio frequency working mode. If the flow rate required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded determined by the control module 40 is smaller than the preset flow rate threshold, the closing state of the carrier aggregation function is maintained, and a single carrier radio frequency working mode of the mobile phone is used by default.
In some possible embodiments, after the determining module 20 determines the flow rate required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded, if the control module 40 determines that the flow rate required by the processing level of the file to be downloaded is smaller than the preset flow rate threshold, it may be determined that the file to be downloaded can be downloaded only in the single carrier radio frequency operating mode. At this time, if the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone is in an on state, the control module 40 may close the carrier aggregation function of the mobile phone, and switch the radio frequency operating mode of the mobile phone from the carrier aggregation radio frequency operating mode to the single carrier radio frequency operating mode.
