Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a network architecture of a typical application scenario according to an embodiment of the present invention. The method mainly comprises User Equipment (UE), gateway Equipment (gateway for short), AF Equipment (AF for short), an Application Server (AS), routing Equipment and PCRF Equipment (PCRF for short). The gateway includes a Policy and Charging Enforcement Function (PCEF) device, and may specifically be a PGW. The routing device is specifically a DRA device (DRA for short).
When the user equipment is powered on or accesses a data network, the DRA does not create session binding information (which may also be referred to as a session binding relationship) for the user equipment when receiving a Gx session establishment request sent by the gateway. When a capability openness service request of user equipment is received, the gateway triggers the DRA to create the session binding information, and compared with the prior art in which all user equipment creates the session binding information, the embodiment of the invention can obviously reduce the space requirement of the DRA on the stored session binding information and save the cost of the DRA.
Referring to the schematic network architecture diagram shown in fig. 1, a data service session binding method provided in an embodiment of the present invention is shown in fig. 2, and may include the following steps:
step 201, when receiving a data service request initiated by a user equipment, a gateway determines whether the data service requested by the user equipment is a capability opening service.
After accessing the data network, the user equipment may initiate a request for using a data service, for example, start an application program live video on the user equipment. The gateway may determine whether the data service requested by the user equipment is a capability openness service when receiving the request of the data service.
Specifically, the gateway may determine whether the data service is a capability openness service according to a destination address (a server address or a uniform resource locator) of a request of the data service or a service type (a video service, a web access, a download service, or the like). A typical capability openness Service may be a Quality of Service (QoS) capability openness Service, such as a video Service or a video Service provided by a particular vendor (e.g., YouTube video), a download Service, and so on. In addition, the capability openness service can also be a gateway capability openness service.
Step 202, when the data service is a capability openness service, the gateway sends a Gx session message to the DRA, where the Gx session message carries indication information for creating session binding information for the user equipment.
The capability openness service triggers the AF to send an Rx session message to the DRA, and the DRA needs to route the Rx session message according to the session binding information.
In this embodiment, when determining that the data service requested by the user equipment is a capability openness service, the gateway performs step 203, that is, sends a Gx session message to the DRA, where the Gx session message carries indication information for creating session binding information for the user equipment. Specifically, the indication information may be carried by an Attribute Value Pair (AVP) newly added in the Gx session message, or may be carried by using an existing AVP in the Gx session message.
If the gateway determines that the data service requested by the user equipment is not the capability openness service, it may send a Gx session message to the DRA, where the Gx session message does not carry indication information for creating session binding information for the user equipment. The indication information that does not carry the session binding information created for the ue may also be referred to as a general Gx session message. After receiving the ordinary Gx session message, the DRA will not create session binding information for the user equipment, and the DRA will forward the ordinary Gx session message to the PCRF.
Step 203, the DRA receives a Gx session message sent by the gateway, wherein the Gx session message carries indication information for creating session binding information for the user equipment.
The DRA analyzes the received Gx session message, so that the fact that session binding information needs to be created for the user equipment can be known, and step 204 is executed.
And 204, the DRA creates Gx session binding information for the user equipment according to the Gx session message.
Specifically, the Gx Session message received by the DRA carries an identifier of the PCRF, an identifier of the user equipment, and a Session identifier (Session ID) of the Gx Session. The DRA creation session binding information may be a correspondence between locally established identity of the PCRF, identity of the user equipment, and identity of the Gx session. The Gx session message may also carry an access point name of the user equipment or the gateway, and the corresponding session binding information may also include the access point name.
The identifier of the user may be an IP address of the user equipment, an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) of the user, a Mobile phone number of the user, or the like. The identity of the PCRF may be a host name, an IP address, and the like of the PCRF.
In this embodiment, the routing device does not create Gx session binding information for all user devices, but creates session binding information only for the user devices that need to route the Rx session message according to the session binding information subsequently, so that the storage space required for storing the session binding information on the DRA can be reduced, and the cost of the DRA is reduced.
Further, the data service session binding method provided by the embodiment of the present invention may further include the following steps:
step 205, the DRA sends the Gx session message to a policy and charging rule function PCRF device.
Because the Gx session message needs to be sent to the PCRF at last, after receiving the Gx session message sent by the gateway, the DRA routes the Gx session message to the PCRF, so that the PCRF device processes the received Gx session message.
The DRA can delete indication information carried in the Gx session message and used for creating session binding information for the user equipment, and then the Gx session message with the indication information deleted is sent to the PCRF.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a flowchart of a data service session binding method according to another embodiment of the present invention.
The user equipment accesses to a data network (e.g. 2G network, 3G network, LTE network, 5G network) provided by an operator, and initiates a data service initialization message (which may be referred to as user activation) to request to establish a data connection. The data service session binding method provided by the embodiment of the invention comprises the following steps:
step 301, receiving a data service initialization message initiated by a user equipment by a PCEF, sending a Gx session establishment request message to a DRA, and requesting to establish a Gx session.
In this embodiment, the Gx session establishment Request message is specifically a Credit Control Request initialization (CCR-I) message, where the Gx session establishment Request message sent by the PCEF carries indication information that session binding information is not created for the ue, the indication information may be implemented by an AVP newly added in the Gx session establishment Request message, a name of the newly added AVP may be freely set, and a meaning of the newly added AVP indicates that session binding information is not required to be created for the ue on the DRA.
Step 302, receiving the CCR-I message by the DRA, and forwarding the CCR-I message to the PCRF.
After receiving the CCR-I message, the DRA directly forwards the message to the PCRF without locally establishing session binding information of the user equipment.
Step 303, the DRA receives a Gx session establishment response message returned by the PCRF.
The Gx session establishment response message may specifically be a Credit Control Answer initialization (CCA-I) message.
And step 304, the PCEF receives the CCA-I message forwarded by the DRA, so that the Gx session between the PCEF and the PCRF is successfully established.
After the Gx session is successfully established, the user can use the data service, the user initiates an online video service through the user equipment, and the online video service requires the capability to be opened. For example, when the user uses an online video service, it needs to provide a high bandwidth and a low latency, i.e. to require quality of service guarantee.
Step 305, receiving a data service request sent by a user equipment by a PCEF, and determining whether the data service requested by the user equipment is a capability openness service.
In this embodiment, the PCEF may perform Deep Packet Inspection (Deep Packet Inspection) on a data service request sent by the ue, obtain an access address or a service type of the data service accessed by the ue, and then determine whether the access address or the service type is included in a local capability openness service list, if so, determine that the service accessed by the ue is the capability openness service. Otherwise, the service accessed by the user equipment is judged not to be the capability opening service. The access address of the data service may be an address of a destination server or an access Uniform Resource Locator (URL).
In this embodiment, if the type of the data service accessed by the ue is a video service, the PCEF determines that the service is a capability openness service. In addition, if the data service initiated by the user equipment is a common Web access, the PCEF determines that the service does not belong to a capability openness service, and then performs a common charging and policy control action, for example, sends a Gx session message, which does not carry indication information of session binding information created for the user equipment, to the DRA.
Step 306, the PCEF sends a Gx session message to the DRA, where the Gx session message carries indication information for creating session binding information for the user equipment.
In this embodiment, the Gx session message may specifically be a Credit Control Request Update (CCR-U) message. And the PCEF judges that the service initiated by the user equipment is the service quality capability open service, and then sends a CCR-U message to the DRA, wherein the newly added AVP carries indication information for creating session binding information for the user equipment. The name of the newly added AVP can be freely set, and its meaning indicates that session binding information needs to be created on the DRA for the user equipment. The indication information can also be carried by AVP already existing in CCR-U.
And 307, receiving a CCR-U message sent by the gateway equipment by the DRA, wherein the CCR-U message carries indication information for creating session binding information for the user equipment, and the DRA creates Gx session binding information for the user equipment according to the CCR-U message.
In this embodiment, the CCR-U message received by the DRA carries a host name of the PCRF, an IP address and IMSI of the user equipment, and a session ID of the Gx session. The session binding information created by the DRA comprises the corresponding relation among the host name of the PCRF, the IP address of the user equipment, the IMSI and the session ID of the Gx session.
Step 308, the DRA forwards the CCR-U message to the PCRF.
The DRA can forward the CCR-U message to the PCRF after the session binding information is created, and can also forward the CCR-U message to the PCRF while the session binding information is created.
Step 309, the PCRF returns a CCA-U message to the DRA.
Wherein, the Credit Control response updates (CCA-U) response of CCA-U message, which carries charging and Control policy rules issued by PCRF to PCEF.
And step 310, receiving the CCA-U message sent by the PCRF by the DRA, and forwarding the CCA-U message to the PCEF.
And after receiving the CCA-U message, the PCEF carries out charging and policy control on the user equipment access online video service according to the charging rule and the control policy rule carried in the CCA-U message.
When the user equipment uses the online video service, an application server (e.g., a server of an online video service provider) may send a capability opening request, such as a QoS request (increase or decrease QoS of the user equipment), to the AF.
Step 311, the AF sends an Rx session message (abbreviated as Rx message) to the DRA.
The Rx session message may specifically be an Authentication Authorization Request (AAR) message, which carries an IP address of the user equipment.
Step 312, the DRA queries the session binding information according to the identifier of the user equipment, and determines the identifier of the PCRF to which the AAR message needs to be routed.
The DRA queries binding information (the corresponding relationship) created before according to the identifier of the user equipment in the AAR message, and further obtains an identifier of the PCRF to which the AAR message needs to be routed (the host name of the PCRF).
Step 313, the DRA sends an AAR message to the PCRF.
The DRA sends an AAR message to the PCRF corresponding to the PCRF host name, so that the PCRF can process the AAR message conveniently. Optionally, the DRA further adds the host name of the PCRF to the AAR message, so that other devices in the network can route the AAR message to the PCRF.
In the embodiment of the invention, after receiving an indication message (CCR-U message) which is sent by a PCEF and indicates that the PCEF establishes the session binding relationship, the DRA establishes the session binding information for the user equipment. Compared with the prior art that session binding information is created for all user equipment using data services, the method can reduce the requirement of the session binding information on the storage space of the DRA and reduce the cost of the DRA.
An embodiment of the present invention further provides a gateway device, as shown in fig. 4, including:
