Detailed Description
In the following description, for purposes of explanation and not limitation, specific details are set forth, such as particular system structures, techniques, etc. in order to provide a thorough understanding of the embodiments of the invention. It will be apparent, however, to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced in other embodiments that depart from these specific details. In other instances, detailed descriptions of well-known systems, devices, circuits, and methods are omitted so as not to obscure the description of the present invention with unnecessary detail.
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the following description is made by way of specific embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1, it shows a flowchart of an implementation of the method for identifying the currency of a banknote according to an embodiment of the present invention, which is detailed as follows:
step 101, acquiring an image of a paper currency to be identified;
in the embodiment of the invention, the image of the paper money to be recognized is firstly acquired, specifically, the paper money to be recognized passes through the equipment comprising the image sensor, and the image corresponding to the paper money to be recognized is acquired based on the image sensor.
Preferably, because different parts of the paper money have different thicknesses and different wavelengths which are easily absorbed and reflected by the parts, in order to enable the acquired image of the paper money to be identified to more clearly show the parts on the paper money to be identified, the image of the paper money to be identified can be acquired by adopting light of one wave band. For example, an image of a banknote to be recognized under infrared light is acquired.
102, dividing the image of the paper money to be recognized into more than two image blocks;
in the embodiment of the invention, in order to improve the identification accuracy, after the image of the paper money to be identified is acquired, the image of the paper money to be identified is divided into more than two image blocks, and the paper money to be identified is identified based on the image characteristics of the image blocks.
In addition, after the image of the banknote to be recognized is divided into more than two image blocks, for example, the image of the banknote to be recognized is divided into 10 image blocks, and since the area of the image block is smaller than that of the banknote to be recognized, the acquisition speed is correspondingly high when the image features of the image block are acquired.
Optionally, in step 102, the dividing the image of the banknote to be recognized into two or more image blocks may be implemented in the following manner:
positioning an edge area of the image of the paper money to be identified;
cutting off the edge area from the image of the paper money to be identified;
and dividing the image of the paper money to be identified after the edge area is cut into more than two image blocks.
In the embodiment of the invention, due to the influence of light and shadow, the acquired image of the paper money to be recognized may have a black edge at the edge of the image, so that the image precision is reduced, and the recognition accuracy is influenced, so in order to improve the recognition accuracy, the edge area with lower image precision needs to be cut off from the image of the paper money to be recognized. For example, rows and columns from the edge on the image to be recognized are cut out.
103, judging whether a target paper currency template matched with the paper currency to be identified exists in a preset paper currency template library or not based on the image characteristics of the image block;
in the embodiment of the invention, a paper currency template library is preset, and paper currency templates of various paper currencies of known currency are stored in the paper currency template library, wherein the stored paper currency templates also comprise a plurality of paper currency templates with different face values in the same currency.
In the embodiment of the invention, based on the image characteristics of the image block, the image matching is carried out on the paper money to be recognized in the paper money template library so as to judge whether a target paper money template matched with the paper money to be recognized exists in the paper money template library.
And step 104, if the target paper currency template exists, determining the currency of the paper currency to be identified as the currency corresponding to the target paper currency template.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the image block of the paper money to be recognized is matched with the image block of a certain paper money template in the paper money template library one by one, the paper money template is judged to be the target paper money template matched with the paper money to be recognized, so that the currency of the paper money to be recognized is determined to be the currency corresponding to the target paper money template.
Optionally, after the step 103, the method further includes:
and if the target paper currency template does not exist, adding the paper currency to be identified into the paper currency template library as the paper currency template, and receiving the currency type of the paper currency to be identified input by a user as the currency type of the added paper currency template.
In the embodiment of the present invention, if the determination result in step 103 is that the target banknote template matching the banknote to be recognized does not exist in the banknote template library, it is described that the banknote to be recognized is a banknote of one currency which is not put in or put out in advance in the banknote template library, so that the banknote to be recognized is added to the banknote template library as a banknote template, and the currency of the banknote to be recognized input by the user is received as the currency of the added banknote template, thereby enriching the banknote currency types stored in the banknote template library. And the currency of the paper money to be identified input by the user is determined by the user through other modes.
The invention obtains the image of the paper money to be identified; dividing the image of the paper money to be identified into more than two image blocks; judging whether a target paper currency template matched with the paper currency to be identified exists in a preset paper currency template library or not based on the image characteristics of the image block; if the target paper money template exists, determining the currency of the paper money to be identified as the currency corresponding to the target paper money template, thereby realizing the identification of the currency of the paper money; therefore, the method and the device have the advantages that the image of the paper money to be recognized is divided, the corresponding target paper money template is matched for the paper money to be recognized based on the image characteristics of each image block obtained through division, and compared with a matching mode in the prior art, the method and the device for matching the characteristics of specific areas such as characters or head images of the paper money reduce the recognition error rate and improve the accuracy of recognition of the currency type of the paper money.
Fig. 2 shows a flowchart of an implementation of the method for identifying the currency of the paper money according to the embodiment of the present invention, which is detailed as follows:
step 201, acquiring an image of a paper currency to be identified;
step 202, dividing the image of the paper money to be identified into more than two image blocks;
in the embodiment of the present invention, the steps 201 to 202 may specifically refer to the steps 101 to 102 in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, and are not described herein again.
Step 203, acquiring the overall characteristics of the paper money to be identified;
in an embodiment of the present invention, the overall characteristics include at least one of the following characteristics: length features, width features, brightness distribution features of corresponding images, magnetic features, ultraviolet image features and infrared image features;
204, based on the overall characteristics, selecting a candidate banknote template matched with the banknote to be identified from a preset banknote template library;
step 205, judging whether a target banknote template matched with the banknote to be identified exists in the candidate banknote templates or not based on the image features of the image blocks;
in the embodiment of the present invention, the image feature may be a color feature or a gray scale feature;
in the embodiment of the invention, in order to further improve the recognition speed, the paper money to be recognized can be roughly matched in the paper money template library on the basis of the overall characteristics of the paper money to be recognized so as to eliminate the paper money templates obviously not matched with the paper money to be recognized, the paper money templates matched with the paper money to be recognized in the overall characteristics in the paper money template library are selected, and the paper money templates are used as candidate paper money templates. For example, if the length of the paper money to be recognized is M, the paper money templates with the length not being M in the paper money template library are directly excluded, subsequent matching based on the image features of the image blocks is not performed, the paper money templates with the length being M in the paper money template library are selected as candidate paper money templates, and when the image features of the subsequent image blocks are matched, the candidate paper money templates are only compared, so that the recognition time can be reduced, and the recognition efficiency is improved.
Optionally, the determining, based on the image features of the image block, whether a target banknote template matching the banknote to be recognized exists in the candidate banknote templates includes:
extracting the gray scale features of the image blocks;
and judging whether a target paper currency template matched with the paper currency to be identified exists in the candidate paper currency templates or not based on the gray features.
In the embodiment of the invention, whether a target banknote template matched with the banknote to be identified exists in the candidate banknote template is judged by collecting the gray features of the image block and based on the gray features.
Optionally, the grayscale feature is a predetermined grayscale feature with multiple dimensions, and the predetermined grayscale feature with multiple dimensions includes: a gray-level mean feature, a Haar feature, and a gray-level-based gradient feature.
In the embodiment of the invention, the preset gray scale characteristics with multiple dimensions are characteristics which are insensitive to tiny deviation of the image, so that the influence of the deviation of the paper money on the identification accuracy is reduced. For example, the gray mean feature reflects the brightness of an image, the Haar feature reflects the gray change of the image, and the gradient feature based on the gray reflects the gray distribution of the image, and these several types of gray features all satisfy the feature insensitive to the slight shift of the image.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the predetermined grayscale features of multiple dimensions may be determined based on a grayscale histogram of the image block, where the grayscale mean feature may include features of 3 dimensions, which are a grayscale mean, a 10% -40% grayscale mean in the grayscale histogram, and a 60% -90% grayscale mean, respectively; the Haar features may include two-dimensional features, one being the difference between the left half and the right half of the image block, the other being the difference between the upper half and the lower half of the image block; the gradient feature based on gray scale may include features of 9 dimensions, and specifically, a sobel operator may be used, one is a gradient mean, the other 8 are histogram distributions of gradients in predetermined 8 directions, respectively, and in addition, when the gradient direction does not fall exactly in the predetermined 8 directions, histogram values of directions adjacent to the predetermined 8 directions are accumulated, respectively. The predetermined plurality of dimensions of the grayscale feature may be the 14-dimensional feature described above.
Preferably, when the gray histogram is counted, in order to increase the counting speed, the pixel points on the image block may be sampled, and the gray histogram of the sampling points may be counted.
Optionally, the determining, based on the gray features, whether a target banknote template matching the banknote to be recognized exists in the candidate banknote templates includes:
carrying out normalization processing on the gray scale features;
and comparing the image blocks with corresponding image blocks of all the paper money templates in the candidate paper money template based on the gray features after normalization processing so as to judge whether a target paper money template matched with the paper money to be identified exists in the candidate paper money template.
In the embodiment of the present invention, in order to make the data processing on the image blocks in the above steps more convenient and improve the processing speed, normalization processing may be performed on the grayscale features of the multiple dimensions, specifically, for the normalization processing of the grayscale mean feature, the Haar feature, and the gradient mean, a maximum value of each image block may be taken, and then, a corresponding value of each image block is divided by the maximum value; for the normalization process of the gradient histogram feature, the 8-direction values may be divided by the 8-direction sum value.
And step 206, if the target paper currency template exists, determining the currency of the paper currency to be identified as the currency corresponding to the target paper currency template.
In the embodiment of the present invention, step 206 may specifically refer to step 104 in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, and is not described herein again.
