The present embodiment further increases the occurrence of a case of preventing information leakage of the image forming apparatus due to connection to a specific network on the basis of the foregoing three embodiments, specifically:
in this embodiment, preferably, after the warning information transmitted by the warning information transmitter, the warning information transmitter transmits information for prohibiting firmware upgrade of the image forming apparatus in a case where the user confirmation of permitting the image forming apparatus to connect to the specific network is not received. Therefore, an illegal intruder can be avoided, and the image forming apparatus can be remotely operated by malicious manipulation through the network port of the image forming apparatus.
In this embodiment, preferably, after the warning information sent by the warning information sender, the warning information sender sends information for cutting off the intranet connection or prompting the user to cut off the intranet connection; then, the intranet connection of the image forming apparatus may be cut off by a computer or a background management server that manages the image forming apparatus in the lan; therefore, an illegal intruder can be prevented from stealing data in other computers or peripheral devices in the local area network where the image forming apparatus is located by the image forming apparatus.
In the method flow corresponding to the technical side, the controller for executing the network monitoring method prohibits the firmware upgrade of the image forming apparatus when the user confirmation of allowing the image forming apparatus to connect to the specific network is not received after executing the sending of the warning information.
In the method flow corresponding to the technical party, the controller is used for executing the network monitoring method, and after executing the sending of the warning information, the controller cuts off the intranet connection of the image forming device or prompts the user to cut off the intranet connection of the image forming device.

Claims (16)

1. An image forming apparatus provided with a network port and capable of accessing a specific network through a network server, characterized in that,
the image forming apparatus further includes a network monitoring device including:
a data acquirer configured to be connected to the network port and output network data of the network port;
a data parser connected to the data acquirer and configured to be able to parse whether or not the network data transmitted in the data acquirer has information characterizing that the image forming apparatus is connected to a specific network;
a warning information transmitter connected to the data parser and configured to transmit warning information to a user of the image forming apparatus when the data parser parses that there is information indicating that the image forming apparatus is connected to a specific network;
the method for analyzing whether the network data transmitted in the data acquirer has information representing that the image forming device is connected to a specific network by the data analyzer comprises the following steps: the network monitoring device sends information of an access request to the network server, wherein the access request is used for controlling the network server to access a specific network, the access request comprises a domain name or a network address server, and when the network server is a portal, the access request comprises a network address of the portal;
and acquiring a response sent by the network server according to the access request, and outputting information whether the image forming device is connected to a specific network according to the content of the access request response and/or information whether the response is received within a preset time.
2. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the content of the access request response includes information that judges whether or not the network data transmitted by the network port contains information indicating that the image forming apparatus is connected to a specified network address, and when the information indicating that the image forming apparatus is connected to the specified network address is contained, information that judges that the image forming apparatus is connected to a specific network is output.
3. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the warning information includes at least one of mail notification, audible alarm, short message notification, and pop-up dialog prompt on a display of the image forming apparatus.
4. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the network monitoring means further includes a timer that starts counting when the warning information is transmitted by the warning information transmitter, and the warning information transmitter transmits the information to automatically turn off the network communication switch of the network port in the image forming apparatus when the signal that the user determines to allow the image forming apparatus to connect to the specific network is not received for a predetermined period of time.

The image forming apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the data parser further parses the job data transmitted from the network port, and parses whether a predetermined keyword is included in the job data, and if the keyword is included, the warning information transmitter transmits information for automatically opening a network communication switch of the network port in the image forming apparatus when it is parsed that the network data transmitted from the data acquirer has information indicating that the image forming apparatus is connected to a specific network.

The image forming apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the warning information transmitter transmits the information prohibiting the firmware upgrade of the image forming apparatus in a case where a user confirmation to permit the image forming apparatus to connect to a specific network is not received after the warning information transmitted by the warning information transmitter.
7. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the warning information transmitter transmits information to disconnect the intranet connection or prompt a user to disconnect the intranet connection after the warning information transmitted by the warning information transmitter.

An image forming apparatus provided with a network port and capable of accessing a specific network through a network server, characterized by further comprising a controller for monitoring whether the image forming apparatus is connected to the specific network, the controller for performing the steps of:
acquiring network data of a network port in the image forming device;
analyzing whether the network data has information representing that the image forming device is connected to a specific network;
and when the information representing that the image forming device is connected to the specific network is analyzed, sending warning information to a user of the image forming device.
9. The image forming apparatus according to claim 8, wherein the controller, in executing the manner of resolving whether the network data has information characterizing the connection of the image forming apparatus to a specific network, includes: an access request is transmitted, and then information of whether the image forming apparatus is connected to a specific network is outputted according to the content of the access request response and/or whether the response is received within a predetermined time.

The image forming apparatus according to claim 9, wherein the content of the access request response includes information that judges whether or not the network data transmitted by the network port contains information indicating that the image forming apparatus is connected to a specified network address, and when the information indicating that the image forming apparatus is connected to the specified network address is contained, information that judges that the image forming apparatus is connected to a specific network is output.
11. The image forming apparatus according to claim 8, wherein the warning information includes at least one of mail notification, audible alarm, short message notification, and pop-up dialog prompt on a display of the image forming apparatus.

The image forming apparatus according to claim 8, wherein the monitoring step performed by the controller further comprises: and after the sent warning information is sent, automatically switching off a network communication switch of a network port in the image forming device when a signal for allowing the image forming device to be connected to a specific network is not received by a user within a preset time.

The image forming apparatus according to claim 8, wherein the controller is further capable of further parsing job data transmitted by the network port when performing parsing of network data for information indicating that the image forming apparatus is connected to a specific network, and parsing whether the job data contains a predetermined keyword, and if the keyword is included, automatically turning off a network communication switch of a network port in the image forming apparatus when parsing of network data for information indicating that the image forming apparatus is connected to a specific network is performed.

The image forming apparatus according to claim 8, wherein after the controller performs transmission of the warning information, the image forming apparatus firmware upgrade is prohibited in a case where a user confirmation is not received to allow the image forming apparatus to connect to a specific network.
15. The image forming apparatus according to claim 8, wherein the controller cuts off an intranet connection of the image forming apparatus or prompts a user to cut off the intranet connection of the image forming apparatus after the controller performs transmission of the warning information.
16. An image forming system, the system comprising:
the image forming apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 15, a network port provided in the image forming apparatus, and a network server capable of letting the image forming apparatus access a specific network.
