Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The core of the invention is how to conclude that those are the same video. First, it is defined what is called the same movie, which means that the content of the movie is the same and not its movie name or resolution. For example, movies [ speed and passion ] might call different names in different regions but they are all the same movie. On the other hand, whether you go to the theater for digital high definition or at home for standard definition of the network, they are the same movie content only in terms of the different resolution of the movie. Different resolutions typically result in higher resolution films for the same movie, which results in larger storage data.
The method for identifying the same video in the present invention will be described in detail from the perspective of the device for identifying the same video, which may be a server or a functional unit in the server,
referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an embodiment of a method for determining the same video according to an embodiment of the present invention, which specifically includes:
101. a first time instance of the first video and a second time instance of the second video are determined.
In this embodiment, when it is required to determine whether the same video exists in the storage device, the apparatus for determining the same video may first determine a first time of the first video and a second time of the second video, where the first video and the second video are any two videos in the storage device, the first time is a time when a feature starts in the first video, and the second time is a time when a feature starts in the second video.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, the start time of the feature film is the time when the playing content in the first video and the second video is just started, and since in some video files, an advertisement may be played at the start of the video, the start time of the feature film in the present invention refers to the time when the specific content of the video is started after the advertisement is played.
Referring to fig. 2, a specific description is provided below with reference to fig. 2 on how an apparatus for determining the same video determines a first time of a first video and determines a second time of a second video, where fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of an embodiment of determining the first time of the first video and the second time of the second video according to an embodiment of the present invention, and the specific description includes:
201. and extracting the third video with the first duration from the first video.
In this embodiment, when the device that determines the same video needs to determine the first time, the third video with the first duration may be extracted from the first video, where the first duration is greater than the preset duration, and the starting position of the first duration is the same as the starting position of the first video. That is, the third video is a video that is more than a preset time length after the start position of the first video.
202. And extracting a fourth video with the second duration from the second video.
In this embodiment, when the device that determines the same video needs to determine the second time, a fourth video with a second duration may be first extracted from the second video, where the second duration is greater than the preset duration, and a start position of the second duration is a start position of the second video. That is, the fourth video is a video that is greater than a preset time length after the start position of the second video, wherein the first time length is the same as the second time length.
The preset time period may be 2 minutes, may also be 5 minutes, and may also be other values, which are not limited specifically.
It should be noted that the first time may be determined through step 201, and the second time may be determined through step 202, however, there is no restriction on the order between the two steps, and step 201 may be executed first, step 202 may also be executed first, or executed at the same time, which is not limited specifically.
203. Comparing the histogram of the first frame image in the third video with the histogram of the second frame image in the fourth video to determine whether the first frame image and the second frame image are similar, if so, executing step 204, and if not, executing step 207.
In this embodiment, the apparatus for determining the same video may first acquire a histogram of a first frame image in a third video, acquire a histogram of a second frame image in a fourth video, where the first frame image is any frame image in the third video, and the second frame image is any frame image in the fourth video, then determine whether the histogram of the first frame image is similar to the histogram of the second frame image, if so, execute step 204, and if not, execute step 207.
It should be noted that, as for video with different resolutions, we may encounter the following three situations on the same screen, please refer to fig. 3, where fig. 3 is a diagram of the original image, the thumbnail and the low resolution image of the image provided by the embodiment of the present invention and the corresponding histogram, please refer to a in fig. 3, a is the original image of the image and the histogram a1 corresponding to a, B is the original image reduced to 1/5, B1 is the histogram corresponding to B, C is the original image reduced to 1/5, and C1 is the histogram corresponding to C.
The ordinate in the histogram is the number of images, the abscissa is the number of images, generally (8bit) from left to right is from 0 to 255, 0 table is dark, 255 indicates full light. If 10 bits from left to right is from 0 to 1023, 0 table is dark and 1023 indicates full light. As can be seen from the above description, the histograms corresponding to the original image, the thumbnail image, and the low-resolution image are substantially the same, and therefore, it can be determined whether the two images are the same image by comparing the histograms of the two images.
204. When the first frame image is similar to the second frame image, it is determined whether the preset number of frame images after the first frame image in the third video is similar to the preset number of frame images after the second frame image in the fourth video, if yes, step 205 or step 206 is executed, and if not, step 207 is executed.
In this embodiment, when the device that determines the same video determines that the first frame image is similar to the second frame image, it is determined whether the last predetermined number of frames (for example, 20 frames or 50 frames) of the first frame image in the third video are respectively similar to the last predetermined number of frames ((for example, 20 frames or 50 frames)) of the second frame image in the fourth video in a one-to-one correspondence manner, if so, step 205 or step 206 is executed, and if not, step 207 is executed. That is, when it is determined that the first frame image is similar to the second frame image, it may be compared whether the content in the video subsequent to the third video and the fourth video is the same (the comparison is performed by extracting the frame images therein to respectively correspond to each other one by one), if so, step 205 or step 206 is performed, and if not, step 207 is performed.

206. The time instant of the second needle image is determined as the second time instant.
In this embodiment, when the apparatus for determining the same video determines that the last preset number of frame images of the first frame image in the third video is similar to the last preset number of frame images of the second frame image in the fourth video, it may be determined that the second frame image is an image from a feature in the fourth video, and at this time, the time of the second frame image may be determined as the second time.
It should be noted that the first time may be determined through step 205, and the second time may be determined through step 206, however, the two steps are not limited by the execution order, and step 205 may be executed next, step 206 may be executed first, or executed at the same time, which is not limited specifically.
207. Other operations are performed.
In this embodiment, when the histogram of the first frame image in the third video is not similar to the histogram of the second frame image in the fourth video, it is determined that the first frame image and the second frame image are different images, and it may be further determined that the third video and the fourth video are different videos, where the third video is one segment of the first video and the fourth video is one segment of the second video, and therefore it may also be determined that the first video and the second video are different videos; and when the preset number of frame images after the first frame image in the third video is similar to the preset number of frame images after the second frame image in the fourth video, determining that the third video and the fourth video are different videos.
It should be noted that, in the above, how to determine the first time and the second time is described with reference to fig. 2, of course, other methods are available, and the details are not limited.

103. An image of the second sample point is acquired.
In this embodiment, the device for determining the same video may acquire an image of a second sampling point, for example, directly perform screenshot on a certain time in the second video, where the image of the second sampling point is an image of a third time in the second video, the third time being a preset time from the second time, for example, an image of a second video when a feature starts 10 minutes.
It should be noted that, the image of the first sampling point may be obtained through step 102, and the image of the second sampling point may be obtained through step 103, however, there is no limitation on the execution sequence between these two steps, and step 102 may be executed first, step 103 may be executed first, or step 103 may be executed simultaneously, which is not limited specifically.
It should be noted that the first sampling point and the second sampling point may be one sampling point or multiple sampling points, and are not limited specifically, as long as the first sampling point and the second sampling point are respectively in one-to-one correspondence at the sampling time.
104. And judging whether the histogram of the image of the first sampling point is similar to that of the image of the second sampling point, if so, executing step 105, and if not, executing step 106.
In this embodiment, after the device for determining the same video acquires the image of the first sampling point and the image of the second sampling point, it may determine whether the difference between the histogram of the image of the first sampling point and the histogram of the image of the second sampling point is similar, if so, execute step 105, and if not, execute step 106. For example, some feature points in the histogram of the image of the first sampling point are extracted, feature points at the same position as the feature points in the histogram of the image of the first sampling point are extracted from the histogram of the image of the second sampling point, the two feature points are compared, if the different number is smaller than a threshold (for example, 3), it is determined that the histogram of the image of the first sampling point is similar to the histogram of the image of the second sampling point, and if the different number is greater than a threshold (for example, 3), it is determined that the histogram of the image of the first sampling point is not similar to the histogram of the image of the second sampling point.
105. Determining that the first video and the second video are the same video.
In this embodiment, when the means for determining the same video determines that the histogram of the image of the first sampling point is similar to the histogram of the image of the second sampling point, it is determined that the first video and the second video are the same non-video.
106. Other operations are performed.
In this embodiment, when the means for determining the same video determines that the histogram of the image of the first sampling point is not similar to the histogram of the image of the second sampling point, it is determined that the first video and the second video are the same non-video.
