Description

Method and apparatus for managing vehicle
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a method for managing a vehicle. Furthermore, the invention relates to a corresponding device, a corresponding computer program and a corresponding storage medium.
Background
In vehicle technology, solutions are known for networking diagnostic and test equipment, for example, with a customer service desk (kundecenstannahme) in a service shop. The related methods and devices are sometimes summarized in professional terms by the "connected workshops" in the form of a "connected workshops" and serve in particular to avoid having to detect customer and vehicle data again each time a workshop is accessed and to optimize the vehicle operation by the workshop (Fahrzeugdurchlauf).
DE 102014202307 a1 discloses exemplary methods and systems for personalized authorized dealer-customer service. A corresponding vehicle data processing system enables one or more processors to communicate with a service shop and present service instructions to output devices in the vehicle. Presenting information through the output device may include, but is not limited to, a mobile telephone device of a vehicle occupant. The vehicle data processing system may include a wireless transceiver for transmitting wireless signals to and from the vehicle data processing system. The vehicle data processing system may establish wireless communication with the service shop communication system via the transceiver and transmit the vehicle identification to the service shop communication system. The vehicle data processing system may receive data from the service shop communication system with service instructions as a reaction to the vehicle identification transmission and present the service instructions on an output device.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a method for managing a vehicle, a corresponding device, a corresponding computer program and a corresponding storage medium according to the independent claims.
The solution according to the invention is based on the basic idea of a cross-brand central vehicle profile for different data, applications and users. The advantage of this solution lies in the storage and accessibility of useful data available in the workshop environment, which is always needed again. In particular, vehicle diagnostics performed by a workshop can therefore be stored in the cloud, i.e., in a network of a plurality of distributed computers operating in the manner of so-called cloud computing.
Advantageous refinements and improvements of the basic concept specified in the independent claims are possible by means of the measures listed in the dependent claims. In this case, it can be provided that, when the repair shop is visited again, the identification device on the vehicle is detected by means of the mobile App, a second vehicle diagnosis is made in relation to the vehicle and is also stored in the cloud by means of the identification device. Thereby resulting in significant time savings.
According to a further aspect, it can be provided that in this case the first vehicle diagnosis is called up from the cloud by means of the identification device and compared with the second vehicle diagnosis, wherein the check performed during the first vehicle diagnosis is automatically repeated for better comparability. Thereby presenting the possibility of optimizing the diagnosis time.
Finally, it can be provided that: check even when refueling the vehicle at a refueling station: whether the vehicle is registered in the cloud. If the vehicle is not registered, the vehicle is assigned an identification device via the gasoline station, which is associated with the App, is identified by means of which the vehicle is registered in the cloud and a fuel type suitable for the vehicle is deposited in the cloud by means of the identification device. Each subsequent visit to a filling station, the identification device on the vehicle is detected by means of the App and the stored fuel type is called up from the cloud by means of the identification device, so that the stored fuel type can be used for filling in a process-reliable manner (prozesshicher) and any incorrect filling can be ruled out.
Drawings
Embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings and are explained in more detail in the following description.
Fig. 1 shows a flow chart of a method according to a first embodiment.
Fig. 2 shows a flow chart of a method according to a second embodiment.
Fig. 3 schematically shows a device according to a third embodiment of the invention.
Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a basic flow of the method (10) according to the invention. When a vehicle is accepted (11) for maintenance in a maintenance workshop, the vehicle is checked (12) at the beginning: whether the vehicle has already been registered, so that the vehicle profile relating to this is centrally present in the cloud (13). If the result of the check is negative, i.e. the vehicle has not yet been registered, the vehicle is first identified (14) by means of an identification device in the form of a QR code assigned by the service acceptance (11) and registered in the cloud (13) using the newly compiled vehicle profile. Then, a control device connected to a vehicle bus of the vehicle is sought via a diagnostic interface of the vehicle and a fault memory of the control device is read (15). Based on this query, a first vehicle diagnosis (16) can now be carried out and stored in the cloud (13) by means of the identification device as part of a central vehicle profile.
It is readily understood that instead of a QR code, another opto-electronically readable one-dimensional or two-dimensional code may be used without departing from the scope of the present invention. Furthermore, active and passive transponders are considered, which are based, for example, on the popular RFID technology (radio-frequency identification).
If the vehicle is now moved back to the same or another service shop connected to the cloud (13), the initial check (12) results in: the vehicle has been registered in the cloud (13) using a central vehicle profile. The identification means, which can be arranged on or in the vehicle, for example in the form of an adhesive label, are in this case detected by means of the mobile App. Such detection (17) can already be carried out for the purpose of online booking by a customer of the service shop, i.e. for example the owner himself; otherwise, the detection (17) is carried out directly on the acceptance of the maintenance (11), for example by a maintenance person in the workshop.
Any application software for a mobile device or mobile operating system may be understood in the present context as a mobile App. A mobile device or generic term of a mobile terminal is to be understood here again as meaning all terminal devices which, depending on their size or their weight, are portable without great physical effort and are therefore intended to be used in a mobile manner. Electronic terminal devices, such as smart phones and other mobile phones, tablet computers and navigation devices, for network-independent data communication, voice communication and image communication or navigation are particularly considered.
Before or after the second vehicle diagnosis (18) is carried out on site, the first vehicle diagnosis (16) can now be called from the cloud (13) by means of the identification device. This processing allows: in particular, if the same fault memory as was already present in the first vehicle diagnostic (16) is purposefully read in the second vehicle diagnostic (18), the results of the respective determinations are directly compared. In this way, it is possible to check, inter alia: whether the problem identified in the first vehicle diagnosis (16) is to be able to be eliminated by possible repair or maintenance measures. The communication via the diagnostic interface of the vehicle can, within the scope of the second vehicle diagnosis (18), ideally automatically take place using parameters which are known to be suitable by the first vehicle diagnosis (16), for example according to a defined protocol or with a defined control unit address. Preferably, the second vehicle diagnosis is also stored in the cloud (13) by means of the identification device.
In one embodiment of the method (10), the App already mentioned can also be used to register the vehicle and the state of the vehicle on the case in the form of a still image, a short movie clip or text (19). The App described above in this case allows these records (19) to also be stored in the cloud (13) by means of the identification device.
Fig. 2 illustrates a further partial sequence (20) of the method, at the beginning of which the set refuelling (21) of the vehicle is provided. Here, too, the following problems are first addressed: whether the vehicle has been registered in the cloud (13) using the vehicle profile. If this is not the case, a correspondingly equipped gasoline station can assign the identification means to the vehicle on the spot and provide it to the driver or customer of the vehicle, who applies the identification means (for example in the form of an adhesive label on the inside of the tank cap) to the vehicle and associates (23) with the App of his mobile device either manually or by means of an installed camera. The vehicle is identified (22) by means of the identification means and registered in the cloud (13) according to the above-described embodiment. Before or after the vehicle is refueled (21), a fuel type (24) suitable for the vehicle, for example gasoline or diesel, is also stored in the cloud (13) by means of the identification device.
At the next refuelling (21), the identification device on the vehicle is again detected (17) by means of the App, so that the fuel type (24) stored during the first refuelling (21) can be called up from the cloud (13) by means of the identification device. The filling (21) with the correct fuel type (24) can thus be automated to a large extent. Payment processing at the gasoline station can also be facilitated as long as the final payment (25) is also supported by the App.
Such a method (10) can be implemented, for example, in software or hardware or in a hybrid form of software and hardware, for example, in a workplace computer (30), as illustrated in the schematic diagram of fig. 3.
