Abstract
The invention provides a media negotiation method and device in multi-pass call and a multi-pass terminal. The method comprises the following steps: determining a session media format used by the multi-pass call according to the existing negotiation result with the opposite call end in the process of establishing a service path with a plurality of terminals; and carrying out multi-pass conversation according to the session media format. The invention can provide a proper media negotiation mechanism when multi-pass communication is combined with conversation so as to reduce the complexity of terminal media processing and the power consumption of the terminal and provide high-quality service.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a media negotiation method and apparatus in a multi-pass call, and a multi-pass terminal.
Background
With the continuous improvement of the mobile network bandwidth and the optimization of the mobile device performance, the requirements of the user on the services provided by the mobile terminal are gradually increased. At present, mobile terminal services are becoming more and more diversified from traditional two-person conversation, and services such as video conversation, call forwarding and the like are added. In the current media negotiation mechanism of the call, a calling party sends information carrying all media types expected to be used and coding types supported by each media type, and when a called party receives the information and returns a response message, the information carries the intersection of the media capabilities of the calling party and the called party, namely the called party selects the media type supported by the called party from a plurality of media types supported by the calling party and selects a coding mode supported by both the calling party and the called party for each selected media type. After the calling party and the called party confirm the proper media coding scheme through the negotiation mechanism, the calling party and the called party carry out communication according to the confirmed scheme.
In the process of implementing the invention, the inventor finds that at least the following technical problems exist in the prior art:
the media negotiation may have difficulty in coexistence and compatibility of multiple groups of coding schemes in a scenario supporting multi-pass communication, and the quality of service provided is poor.
Disclosure of Invention

The apparatus of claim 7, wherein the telephony unit is configured to convert voice data of the plurality of traffic paths into a voice format in the second session media format of each traffic path, and send the converted voice data to a call peer of each traffic path of the plurality of traffic paths; and sending the video data of the plurality of service paths to the opposite call ends of the plurality of service paths according to a video format in a second session media format and receiving the video data sent by the opposite call ends of the plurality of service paths according to the video format in the second session media format.
9. A multi-pass terminal, characterized in that it comprises a media negotiation apparatus in a multi-pass call according to any of claims 5 to 8.
