FIG. 1 is a flow chart of a method for upgrading BIOS versions according to the present invention;
fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a device for upgrading a BIOS version according to the present invention.
Detailed Description
The core of the invention is to provide a BIOS version upgrading method, which can improve the work efficiency of BIOS version upgrading; another core of the present invention is to provide a device, an apparatus and a readable storage medium for BIOS version upgrade, which include the above method, and can also improve the work efficiency of BIOS version upgrade.
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The present invention provides a method for upgrading a BIOS version, as shown in fig. 1, where fig. 1 is a flowchart of the method for upgrading a BIOS version provided by the present invention, and the method includes the following steps:
step S1: and pre-storing the universal unique identifier UUID of the current version.
It should be noted that, because the UUID is cleared after the version of the BIOS is updated, the UUID in the BIOS needs to be stored in advance, and the UUID is written into the BIOS after the version of the BIOS is updated. Specifically, before upgrading the version of the BIOS, copying the UUID of the current version into a pre-memory, and after finishing upgrading the version of the BIOS, writing the UUID into the BIOS through a write instruction.
Step S2: and after receiving a basic input output system BIOS version upgrading instruction, clearing the information management field of the BIOS.
It should be noted that the basic information of the BIOS is stored in an SMBIOS (System Management BIOS) information Management field, which includes all information about the computer System and the accessories, such as: UUID, computer manufacturer, serial port information, and other system accessory information. Because the BIOS needs to update the new basic information after the version is upgraded, the basic information in the information management field needs to be cleared in the BIOS version upgrading process, so as to write the basic information of the new version into the information management field. Specifically, after the BIOS receives the BIOS version upgrade instruction, the information in the information management field is cleared to restore to the default value.
Step S3: and when the UUID needs to be reserved, writing the pre-stored UUID of the current version into the information management field of the BIOS, and restarting the BIOS.
It should be noted that, in order to reserve the UUID of the BIOS, after the UUID in the information management field is cleared by the BIOS, the UUID of the current version that is stored in advance needs to be written into the information management field of the BIOS. Specifically, the BIOS reads the UUID saved in advance, the UUID may be stored in the memory in advance, or may be stored in the database, the BIOS obtains the UUID through a read-write operation, then writes the UUID into an information management field of the BIOS, and the BIOS performs cold reset to automatically restart, and the UUID value of the server is retained after the restart.
Preferably, the UUID includes a flag bit and an information bit, and when the UUID needs to be retained, the UUID of the current version stored in advance is written into the information management field of the BIOS, and the process of restarting the BIOS specifically includes:
and when the flag bit of the UUID is a preset threshold value, writing a numerical value corresponding to the information bit of the UUID into the information management field of the BIOS, and restarting the BIOS.
It should be noted that, in order to increase the data processing speed and reduce user intervention, a flag bit and an information bit may be set in the UUID, where the flag bit is used to indicate whether the UUID needs to be reserved, the information bit is used to store a specific value of the UUID, and when the flag bit of the UUID is a preset threshold, the BIOS writes the value of the information bit corresponding to the UUID into the information management field. For example: the flag bit may be "0" to indicate that the UUID is not reserved, and "1" to indicate that the UUID is reserved, at this time, the preset threshold is set to 1, and when the flag bit of the UUID is "1", the BIOS writes the value of the information bit of the UUID whose flag bit is "1" into the information management field. By the mode, whether the UUID needs to be reserved or not can be automatically judged through the zone bit of the UUID, the operation of inputting the reservation instruction after manual judgment is omitted, and the working efficiency is improved.
Preferably, after the BIOS is restarted, the method further includes:
and sending a prompt of finishing the version upgrading.
It should be noted that after the version upgrade is completed, a prompt prompting the administrator to complete the upgrade is sent, where the prompt may be a piece of information returned to the administrator operation interface, may also be a prompt tone, or may also prompt the administrator on site by flashing a prompt lamp. Therefore, the administrator can start the subsequent process conveniently, and the work efficiency of the administrator can be improved.
Preferably, the UUID is pre-stored in the BMC SRAM, which is a static memory of the BMC.
It should be noted that, in order to increase the speed of reading the UUID, the UUID may be stored in the BMC SRAM, which is a cache chip built in the BMC, and the BMC SRAM is characterized by a fast reading speed, and the BIOS may directly read and write.
The invention provides a BIOS version upgrading method, which comprises the following steps: pre-storing a Universal Unique Identifier (UUID) of a current version; after receiving a basic input output system BIOS version upgrading instruction, clearing an information management field of a BIOS; and when the UUID needs to be reserved, writing the pre-stored UUID of the current version into the information management field of the BIOS, and restarting the BIOS. The invention prestores the UUID of the current version into the preset memory, and if the UUID needs to be preserved in the BIOS version upgrading process, the UUID of the prestored current version is written into the information management field of the BIOS after the information management field of the BIOS is cleared, so that the UUID of the BIOS is preserved.
The present invention also provides a device for upgrading a BIOS version, as shown in fig. 2, where fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of the device for upgrading a BIOS version provided by the present invention, and the device includes:
the storage unit 1 is used for storing the universal unique identifier UUID of the current version in advance;
the zero clearing unit 2 is used for clearing the information management field of the BIOS after receiving the BIOS version upgrading instruction of the basic input output system;
and the writing unit 3 is used for writing the pre-stored UUID of the current version into the information management field of the BIOS and restarting the BIOS when the UUID needs to be reserved.
Preferably, the UUID includes a flag bit and an information bit, and the writing unit 3 is specifically configured to write a value corresponding to the information bit of the UUID into the information management field of the BIOS and restart the BIOS when the flag bit of the UUID is a preset threshold.
Preferably, the apparatus further comprises:
and the prompting unit is used for sending out a prompt for finishing version upgrading.
Preferably, the UUID is pre-stored in the BMC SRAM, which is a static memory of the BMC.
The invention provides a BIOS version upgrading device, comprising: pre-storing a Universal Unique Identifier (UUID) of a current version; after receiving a basic input output system BIOS version upgrading instruction, clearing an information management field of a BIOS; and when the UUID needs to be reserved, writing the pre-stored UUID of the current version into the information management field of the BIOS, and restarting the BIOS.
The invention also provides a BIOS version upgrading device, which comprises:
a memory for storing a computer program;
a processor for implementing the steps of the method for upgrading a BIOS version as described in any one of the above when executing a computer program.
The invention also provides a readable storage medium having stored thereon a computer program which, when executed by a processor, carries out the steps of the method of upgrading a BIOS version as set forth in any one of the preceding claims.
