Description

Capacitive touch switch with structured touch electrode and triggering method thereof
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of touch inductive switches, in particular to a capacitive touch switch with a structured touch electrode and a triggering method thereof.
Background
Touch sensitive switches are rapidly used in many fields due to their advantages such as low cost, robustness, wear resistance, insulation, dust-proof, water-proof, and diversified design. However, in a humid or water environment, the touch switch is easily triggered by mistake, which causes malfunction of system equipment and affects product reliability and customer experience.
The capacitive touch switch mainly comprises a touch electrode, a detection and judgment system and a switch trigger medium, wherein the switch trigger medium is generally a finger, as shown in figure 1.
When the touch electrode is not touched by the switch triggering medium (finger), the detection and judgment system detects the initial capacitance C on the touch electrode0At this time, the detection and determination system assumes that the touch switch is in an OFF state.
When the switch triggering medium touches the touch electrode, the detection and judgment system detects that the capacitance on the touch electrode is changed into Ct. The detection judgment system judges that C ist>C0The condition of (2) is true, the touch electrode is considered to be triggered, the touch switch is in an ON (ON) state.
When system equipment based on the switch works in a humid or water environment, the moisture can cause the switch of the equipment to generate false triggering.

Further, all touch electrodes are arranged in a row, and the electrodes included in the same group of touch electrodes are arranged in a column.
Further, there are three groups of the touch electrodes.
Further, the detection judgment system comprises a touch chip or a microcontroller.

Detailed Description
The present invention will be further described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The capacitive touch switch with the structured touch electrodes as shown in fig. 2 includes a detection and judgment system 1 and at least two groups of touch electrodes 2, wherein each group of touch electrodes 2 is electrically connected to the detection and judgment system 1; each set of touch electrodes 2 includes one or more electrodes 21, and when a plurality of electrodes 21 are included, the electrodes 21 are connected by a wire. The detection and judgment system 1 comprises a touch chip or a microcontroller. The detection judging system 1 detects the touch condition of the electrode 21, and judges whether the touch is made by a human hand or moisture according to the touch condition. In order to facilitate the detection and judgment of the detection and judgment system 1, all the electrodes 21 have a unique corresponding label in the detection and judgment system 1, and the detection and judgment system 1 judges whether the trigger condition is formed according to the label of the triggered electrode 21.
In a first embodiment, as shown in fig. 3, each set of touch electrodes 2 includes two electrodes 21; all the electrodes 21 included in the touch electrodes 2 enclose a ring or a polygon, and two electrodes 21 included in the same touch electrode 21 are symmetrically arranged with respect to the center of the ring or the polygon. In this embodiment, as shown in fig. 3, there are three groups of touch electrodes 2, and the electrodes 21 included in the three groups of touch electrodes 2 are respectively denoted by TA, TB, and TC.
In another embodiment, as shown in fig. 4, all touch electrodes 2 are arranged in a row, and the electrodes 21 included in the same group of touch electrodes 2 are arranged in a column (in the case where they include a plurality of electrodes 21).
Based on the above triggering method of the capacitive touch switch with structured touch electrodes, the detection and determination system 1 detects whether the electrodes 21 included in each group of touch electrodes 2 generate a touch signal, and determines whether a preset triggering condition is formed according to the triggering condition, where the triggering condition is the number and the label of the electrodes 21 generating the touch signal at the same time, and the triggering condition may be set to any one or a combination of multiple triggering conditions except for the triggering condition that all the electrodes 21 generate the touch signal at the same time.
In the present embodiment, mainly the structure of the first embodiment is discussed, theoretically, there are many touch situations besides the trigger situation that all the electrodes 21 generate touch signals simultaneously, for example, the first embodiment has one electrode 21 labeled TA, TB, and TC triggered, two TAs triggered, two TBs triggered simultaneously with one TC, and so on, but in order to trigger naturally and ensure a high trigger success rate, it is better to adjust the trigger condition to a more natural trigger mode.
With the above trigger switch, when a finger touches the touch electrode 2 (see fig. 3 below), one or two groups of touch electrodes (specifically, the circumference of the circular ring formed by the touch electrodes 2) are pressed, so that the trigger condition can be set as that all the electrodes 21 included in one or more groups of touch electrodes 2 are touched to generate touch signals at the same time, and thus the touch switch structure can be more natural in touch operation of a user by matching with the trigger condition, and the user can trigger the touch switch by only touching two symmetrical sides of the circular ring or the polygon with two fingers, thereby reducing the learning cost; however, if the system device is in humid air or water environment, the electrodes 21(TA, TB, and TC) included in the three groups of touch electrodes 2 are all touched. Therefore, the detection and judgment system can judge whether the current trigger medium is a finger or moisture according to the number of triggered touch electrodes, and the touch switch is prevented from being triggered by moisture by mistake. Thus, when the system device works in water or a humid environment, the finger and the moisture can be distinguished.
According to the capacitive touch switch with the structured touch electrodes, the plurality of groups of touch electrodes are arranged, and the detection and judgment system is used for judging according to the triggering condition of the touch electrodes, so that the touch switch can be effectively prevented from being triggered by moisture or a humid environment, the structure is exquisite, the operation is convenient, and the reliability and the user experience of system equipment carrying the touch switch can be ensured.
The above description is only of the preferred embodiments of the present invention, and it should be noted that: it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and adaptations can be made without departing from the principles of the invention and these are intended to be within the scope of the invention.
