Network devices in the enterprise network may be managed by a remote cloud platform in the internet, without being managed by the gateway device of the enterprise network itself. This may reduce the cost of device management for the enterprise. Network devices in the enterprise network are managed by the cloud platform, and the network devices initiate a registration process to the cloud platform. The network device needs the information of the cloud platform to initiate registration to the cloud platform. The information of the cloud platform is preset in the network equipment. The network equipment belonging to the same virtual local area network with the traditional platform comprises the network equipment managed by the cloud platform.
S311, the gateway device inquires the network device set managed by the cloud platform according to the destination IP address of the second updating message.
S312, when the destination IP address of the second update packet is queried in the network device set managed by the cloud platform, the gateway device discards the second update packet.
In this embodiment, the destination IP address of the second update message is an IP address of a network device to which the DHCP server needs to send. Then, the gateway device queries the network device set managed by the cloud platform according to the destination IP address in the second update message, and when the destination IP address is queried in the network device set managed by the cloud platform (for example, the destination IP address is the IP address stored in S303 described above), it indicates that the network device where the second update message arrives is the network device managed by the cloud platform and is not the network device managed by the conventional device, and the gateway device discards the second update message without forwarding the second update message, so as to avoid the network device from being misregistered with the conventional platform. When the destination IP address is not queried in the network device set managed by the cloud platform, it indicates that the network device where the second update packet arrives is a network device managed by the conventional platform, and then forwards the second update packet to the corresponding network device (the IP address is the destination IP address).
Optionally, the updated address of the cloud platform and/or the port number used to register the network device is in option 148 in the first update message. The updated address of the legacy platform and/or port number used to register the network device is in option 43 in the second update message.
In this embodiment, a network device set managed by a cloud platform is queried through a gateway device, the first update message is forwarded when it is determined that the network device set managed by the cloud platform has a destination IP address of the first update message, and the second update message is discarded when it is determined that the network device set managed by the cloud platform has a destination IP address of the second update message, where the first update message includes an updated address of the cloud platform and/or a port number used for registering a network device, and the second update message includes an updated address of the cloud platform and/or a port number used for registering a network device. Therefore, the network equipment which is not managed by the cloud platform is prevented from being wrongly registered to the cloud platform, and the network equipment managed by the cloud platform is prevented from being wrongly registered to the traditional platform.
Fig. 4 is a flowchart of a fourth embodiment of a registration method of a network device in the present invention, as shown in fig. 4, the method of this embodiment may include:
s401, the network equipment sends a DHCP request message to a DHCP server.
In this embodiment, the implementation process of S401 may refer to the relevant description in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, and is not described herein again.
S402, the DHCP server sends a DHCP confirmation message to the network equipment. The DHCP acknowledgement message comprises the IP address of the network equipment and the address of the cloud platform.
In this embodiment, the implementation processes of S401 and S402 may refer to the relevant descriptions in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, and are not described herein again.
S403, the DHCP server adds the mapping relation between the IP address of the network device and the address of the cloud platform in the network device set managed by the cloud platform.
Optionally, the DHCP acknowledgement message may further include a port number of the cloud platform used for registering the network device, and the gateway device may further add a mapping relationship between the IP address of the network device and the port number of the cloud platform used for registering the network device in the network device set managed by the cloud platform.
It should be noted that the execution order of S402 and S403 is not sequential.
S404, the network equipment registers the network equipment to the cloud platform according to the DHCP acknowledgement message.
In this embodiment, the implementation process of S404 may refer to the relevant description in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, and is not described herein again.
Optionally, the method of this embodiment may further include:
s405, when the address of the cloud platform or the port number used for registering the network equipment is changed, the DHCP server sends a first updating message to the network equipment according to the mapping relation. The first update packet includes: the address of the updated cloud platform and/or the port number of the updated cloud platform for registering the network device.
And the DHCP server determines the network equipment managed by the cloud platform according to the mapping relation and then sends a first updating message to the network equipment managed by the cloud platform.
S406, the network device registers the network device with the cloud platform according to the first update message.
Optionally, the method of this embodiment may further include:
when the address of the conventional platform and/or the port number of the conventional platform for registering the network device is changed, the DHCP server determines that the network device is managed by the cloud platform according to the mapping relationship, and therefore the DHCP server does not send the second update message to the network device managed by the cloud platform. The second update message includes an updated address of the legacy platform and/or an updated port number of the legacy platform used for registering the network device.
In summary, it is avoided that a network device that should not be managed by a cloud platform is mistakenly registered to the cloud platform, and it is avoided that a network device managed by a cloud platform is mistakenly registered to a conventional platform.
Fig. 5 is a schematic structural diagram of a network device according to a first embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 5, the network device according to this embodiment may include: a sending module 11, a receiving module 12 and a processing module 13.
The sending module 11 is configured to send a DHCP request message to a DHCP server, where the DHCP request message includes an option requesting an address of a cloud platform.
A receiving module 12, configured to receive a DHCP acknowledge message sent by the DHCP server, where the DHCP acknowledge message includes an address of the cloud platform.
And the processing module 13 is configured to register the network device with the cloud platform according to the address of the cloud platform.
Optionally, the DHCP acknowledgement message further includes a port number of the cloud platform for registering a network device.
Optionally, the receiving module 12 is further configured to receive an update message, where the update message includes: the updated address of the cloud platform and/or the updated port number of the cloud platform for registering the network device.
The network device of this embodiment may be configured to execute the technical solutions executed by the network device in the above method embodiments of the present invention, and the implementation principles and technical effects are similar, which are not described herein again.
Fig. 6 is a schematic structural diagram of a first DHCP server according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 6, the DHCP server according to this embodiment may include: a receiving module 21 and a transmitting module 22.
A receiving module 21, configured to receive a DHCP request message sent by a network device, where the DHCP request message includes: an option to request an address of the cloud platform.
The sending module 22 is configured to send a DHCP acknowledge message to the network device, where the DHCP acknowledge message includes an address of the cloud platform.
Optionally, the DHCP acknowledgement message further includes a port number of the cloud platform for registering a network device.
Optionally, the sending module 22 is further configured to send, when the address of the cloud platform and/or the port number of the cloud platform used for registering the network device changes, an update packet to all network devices, where the update packet includes: the updated address of the cloud platform and/or the updated port number of the cloud platform for registering the network device.
Optionally, the DHCP server of this embodiment may further include: a processing module 23.
The processing module 23 is configured to add a mapping relationship between an IP address of the network device and an address of the cloud platform in a network device set managed by the cloud platform.
The sending module 22 is configured to send, when the address of the cloud platform or the port number of the cloud platform used for registering the network device changes, an update packet to the network device according to the mapping relationship, where the update packet includes: the updated address of the cloud platform and/or the updated port number of the cloud platform for registering the network device.
The DHCP server of this embodiment may be configured to execute the technical solution executed by the DHCP server in the foregoing method embodiments of the present invention, and the implementation principle and the technical effect are similar, which are not described herein again.
Fig. 7 is a schematic structural diagram of a first gateway device according to the present invention, and as shown in fig. 7, the gateway device of this embodiment may include: a processing module 31, a receiving module 32 and a sending module 33.
The processing module 31 is configured to add an IP address of the network device to a network device set managed by a cloud platform according to a DHCP acknowledgement packet sent by a DHCP server to the network device, where the DHCP acknowledgement packet includes the IP address of the network device and an address of the cloud platform.
A receiving module 32, configured to receive an update message sent by the DHCP server, where the update message includes an updated address of the cloud platform and/or an updated port number of the cloud platform, where the port number is used to register a network device.
A sending module 33, configured to forward the update packet only when the network device set managed by the cloud platform includes the destination IP address of the update packet.
The gateway device of this embodiment may be configured to execute the technical solutions executed by the gateway device in the above method embodiments of the present invention, and the implementation principles and technical effects are similar, which are not described herein again.
Fig. 8 is a schematic structural diagram of a second network device according to the embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 8, the network device of this embodiment may include: a processor 41 and a communication interface 42.
The processor 41 is configured to send a DHCP request message to a DHCP server through the communication interface 42, where the DHCP request message includes an option requesting an address of a cloud platform; receiving a DHCP acknowledge message sent by the DHCP server through the communication interface 42, where the DHCP acknowledge message includes an address of the cloud platform; and registering the network equipment with the cloud platform according to the address of the cloud platform.
Optionally, the DHCP acknowledgement message further includes a port number of the cloud platform for registering a network device.
Optionally, the processor 41 is further configured to receive an update message through the communication interface 42, where the update message includes: the updated address of the cloud platform and/or the updated port number of the cloud platform for registering the network device.
Optionally, the network device of this embodiment may further include a memory, and the processor 41 may call a code stored in the memory to perform the above-mentioned actions.
The network device of this embodiment may be configured to execute the technical solutions executed by the network device in the above method embodiments of the present invention, and the implementation principles and technical effects are similar, which are not described herein again.
Fig. 9 is a schematic structural diagram of a second DHCP server according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 9, the DHCP server according to this embodiment may include: a processor 51 and a communication interface 52.
The processor 51 is configured to receive, through the communication interface 52, a DHCP request message sent by a network device, where the DHCP request message includes: an option to request an address of a cloud platform; and sending a DHCP acknowledge message to the network device through the communication interface 52, where the DHCP acknowledge message includes the address of the cloud platform.
Optionally, the DHCP acknowledgement message further includes a port number of the cloud platform for registering a network device.
Optionally, the processor 51 is further configured to send, when the address of the cloud platform and/or the port number of the cloud platform used for registering the network device changes, an update packet to all network devices through the communication interface 52, where the update packet includes: the updated address of the cloud platform and/or the updated port number of the cloud platform for registering the network device.
Optionally, the processor 51 is further configured to add a mapping relationship between an IP address of the network device and an address of a cloud platform in a network device set managed by the cloud platform;
the processor 51 is further configured to send, according to the mapping relationship, an update packet to the network device through the communication interface 52 when the address of the cloud platform or the port number of the cloud platform used for registering the network device changes, where the update packet includes: the updated address of the cloud platform and/or the updated port number of the cloud platform for registering the network device.
Optionally, the DHCP server of this embodiment may further include a memory, and the processor 51 may call a code stored in the memory to perform the above-mentioned actions.

Fig. 10 is a schematic structural diagram of a second gateway device in the embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 10, the gateway device in this embodiment may include: a processor 61, a first communication interface 62 and a second communication interface 63.
The processor 61 is configured to add an IP address of the network device to a network device set managed by a cloud platform according to a DHCP acknowledgement packet sent by a DHCP server to the network device, where the DHCP acknowledgement packet includes the IP address of the network device and an address of the cloud platform; receiving an update message sent by the DHCP server through the first communication interface 62, where the update message includes an updated address of the cloud platform and/or an updated port number of the cloud platform for registering a network device; forwarding the update message through the second communication interface 63 only when the network device set managed by the cloud platform includes the destination IP address of the update message.
Optionally, the gateway device of this embodiment may further include a memory, and the processor 61 may call a code stored in the memory to perform the above-mentioned actions.
The gateway device of this embodiment may be configured to execute the technical solutions executed by the gateway device in the above method embodiments of the present invention, and the implementation principles and technical effects are similar, which are not described herein again.
Those of ordinary skill in the art will understand that: all or a portion of the steps of implementing the above-described method embodiments may be performed by hardware associated with program instructions. The program may be stored in a computer-readable storage medium. When executed, the program performs steps comprising the method embodiments described above; and the aforementioned storage medium includes: various media that can store program codes, such as read-only memory (ROM), Random Access Memory (RAM), magnetic or optical disk, etc.
The above embodiments are only used to illustrate the technical solution of the present invention, and not to limit the same; while the invention has been described in detail and with reference to the foregoing embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that: the technical solutions described in the foregoing embodiments may still be modified, or some or all of the technical features may be equivalently replaced; such modifications and substitutions do not depart from the scope of the claims.

Claims (18)

1. A method for registering a network device, comprising:
the network equipment sends a DHCP request message to a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server, wherein the DHCP request message comprises an option of requesting an address of a cloud platform; the DHCP request message is also used for requesting to distribute an Internet Protocol (IP) address for the network equipment;
the network equipment receives a DHCP confirmation message sent by the DHCP server, wherein the DHCP confirmation message comprises the address of the cloud platform and an IP address distributed by the DHCP server for the network equipment;
and the network equipment registers the network equipment to the cloud platform according to the address of the cloud platform.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the DHCP acknowledgement message further includes a port number of the cloud platform used to register a network device.
3. A method of managing a network device, comprising:
a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server receives a DHCP request message sent by network equipment, wherein the DHCP request message comprises: an option to request an address of a cloud platform; the DHCP request message is also used for requesting to distribute an Internet Protocol (IP) address for the network equipment;
and the DHCP server sends a DHCP confirmation message to the network equipment, wherein the DHCP confirmation message comprises the address of the cloud platform and the IP address distributed by the DHCP server to the network equipment.
4. The method of claim 3, wherein the DHCP acknowledgement message further comprises a port number of the cloud platform for registering a network device.
5. The method of claim 3 or 4, further comprising:
the DHCP server adds a mapping relation between an IP address of the network equipment and an address of a cloud platform in a network equipment set managed by the cloud platform;
when the address of the cloud platform or the port number of the cloud platform used for registering the network device changes, the DHCP server sends an update message to the network device according to the mapping relationship, where the update message includes: the updated address of the cloud platform and/or the updated port number of the cloud platform for registering the network device.
6. A method for updating cloud platform addresses, comprising:
the gateway equipment adds the IP address of the network equipment in a network equipment set managed by a cloud platform according to a DHCP confirmation message sent to the network equipment by a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server, wherein the DHCP confirmation message comprises the address of the cloud platform and the IP address distributed to the network equipment by the DHCP server;
the gateway equipment receives an update message sent by the DHCP server, wherein the update message comprises an updated cloud platform address and/or an updated port number of the cloud platform for registering the network equipment;
forwarding the update message only when the network device set managed by the cloud platform includes the destination IP address of the update message.
7. A network device, comprising:
the sending module is used for sending a DHCP request message to a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server, wherein the DHCP request message comprises an option of requesting an address of a cloud platform; the DHCP request message is also used for requesting to distribute an Internet Protocol (IP) address for the network equipment;
the receiving module is used for receiving a DHCP confirmation message sent by the DHCP server, wherein the DHCP confirmation message comprises the address of the cloud platform and the IP address distributed by the DHCP server to the network equipment;
and the processing module is used for registering the network equipment to the cloud platform according to the address of the cloud platform.
8. The network device of claim 7, wherein the DHCP acknowledgement message further comprises a port number of the cloud platform for registering the network device.
9. A dynamic host configuration protocol, DHCP, server, comprising:
a receiving module, configured to receive a DHCP request message sent by a network device, where the DHCP request message includes: an option to request an address of a cloud platform; the DHCP request message is also used for requesting to distribute an Internet Protocol (IP) address for the network equipment;
and the sending module is used for sending a DHCP confirmation message to the network equipment, wherein the DHCP confirmation message comprises the address of the cloud platform and the IP address distributed by the DHCP server to the network equipment.
10. The DHCP server of claim 9, wherein the DHCP acknowledgement message further includes a port number of the cloud platform for registering a network device.
11. The DHCP server according to claim 9 or 10, further comprising:
the processing module is used for adding a mapping relation between an IP address of the network equipment and an address of a cloud platform in a network equipment set managed by the cloud platform;
the sending module is configured to send, when the address of the cloud platform or the port number of the cloud platform used for registering the network device changes, an update packet to the network device according to the mapping relationship, where the update packet includes: the updated address of the cloud platform and/or the updated port number of the cloud platform for registering the network device.
12. A gateway device, comprising:
the processing module is used for adding the IP address of the network equipment in a network equipment set managed by a cloud platform according to a DHCP confirmation message sent to the network equipment by a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server, wherein the DHCP confirmation message comprises the address of the cloud platform and the IP address distributed to the network equipment by the DHCP server;
the receiving module is used for receiving an update message sent by the DHCP server, wherein the update message comprises an updated address of the cloud platform and/or an updated port number of the cloud platform, which is used for registering the network equipment;
a sending module, configured to forward the update packet only when the network device set managed by the cloud platform includes the destination IP address of the update packet.
13. A network device, comprising: a processor and a communication interface, wherein
The processor is configured to send a DHCP request message to a dynamic host configuration protocol DHCP server through the communication interface, where the DHCP request message includes an option requesting an address of a cloud platform, and the DHCP request message is further configured to request allocation of an internet protocol IP address to the network device, receive a DHCP acknowledgement message sent by the DHCP server through the communication interface, where the DHCP acknowledgement message includes the address of the cloud platform and the IP address allocated by the DHCP server to the network device, and register the network device with the cloud platform according to the address of the cloud platform.
14. The network device of claim 13, wherein the DHCP acknowledgement message further includes a port number of the cloud platform used to register the network device.
15. A dynamic host configuration protocol, DHCP, server, comprising: a processor and a communication interface, wherein,
the processor is configured to receive, through the communication interface, a DHCP request packet sent by a network device, where the DHCP request packet includes: and requesting an address of a cloud platform, wherein the DHCP request message is further used for requesting allocation of an Internet Protocol (IP) address to the network device, and sending a DHCP acknowledgement message to the network device through the communication interface, and the DHCP acknowledgement message includes the address of the cloud platform and the IP address allocated to the network device by the DHCP server.
16. The DHCP server of claim 15, wherein the DHCP acknowledgement message further includes a port number of the cloud platform for registering a network device.
17. The DHCP server according to claim 15 or 16, wherein the processor is further configured to add a mapping relationship between an IP address of the network device and an address of a cloud platform in a set of network devices managed by the cloud platform;
the processor is further configured to send, according to the mapping relationship, an update packet to the network device through the communication interface when an address of the cloud platform or a port number of the cloud platform, where the port number is used to register the network device, where the update packet includes: the updated address of the cloud platform and/or the updated port number of the cloud platform for registering the network device.
18. A gateway device, comprising: a processor, a first communication interface, and a second communication interface, wherein,
the processor is configured to add an IP address of a network device in a network device set managed by a cloud platform according to a DHCP acknowledgement packet sent by a DHCP server to the network device, where the DHCP acknowledgement packet includes an address of the cloud platform and the IP address allocated by the DHCP server to the network device, and receive an update packet sent by the DHCP server through the first communication interface, where the update packet includes an updated address of the cloud platform and/or an updated port number used for registering the network device of the cloud platform, and the update packet is forwarded through the second communication interface only when the network device set managed by the cloud platform includes a destination IP address of the update packet.
