Abstract
The invention relates to a link fault detection and recovery method based on an EPON home gateway, which comprises link detection and automatic recovery at a WAN side and a LAN side. By adopting the link fault detection and recovery method based on the EPON home gateway, the automatic recovery of the link can be ensured when the link is abnormal by detecting the EPON link at the WAN side and the wireless link at the LAN side, so that the equipment can be kept in an on-line state all the time even in an unattended state, and the excellent user experience performance is realized.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of EPON home gateways, in particular to the field of link fault detection, and specifically relates to a link fault detection and recovery method based on an EPON home gateway.

(2.2) sniffing a flag mark of the EPON OAM message;
(2.3) judging whether the EPON link is normal according to the flag, if the EPON link is normal, continuing the step (2.4), otherwise, jumping to the step (2.5);
(2.4) judging whether an external network message connected to the EPON home gateway is received within a first set time period, if so, judging that the EPON link is normal and finishing the EPON link detection process, otherwise, continuing the step (2.5);
(2.5) restarting the EPON optical module and returning to the step (2.2);
the detection and recovery of the wireless link comprises the following steps:
(2.6) starting the wireless module;
(2.7) sending an ARP request message to a wireless terminal connected to the EPON home gateway;
(2.8) judging whether the ARP response message of the wireless terminal is received in a second set time period;
(2.9) if the ARP request message is received, judging that the wireless link is normal and finishing the wireless link detection process, otherwise, continuing the step (2.10);
(2.10) restarting the wireless module and returning to the step (2.7).
The link fault detection and recovery method based on the EPON home gateway specifically comprises the following steps (2.5):
and (3) carrying out soft restart on the EPON optical module and returning to the step (2.2).
In the step (2) of the link fault detection and recovery method based on the EPON home gateway, if the EPON link is detected to be abnormal for 3 times continuously, the step (1) is returned.
In the step (2) of the link fault detection and recovery method based on the EPON home gateway, if the wireless link is detected to be abnormal for 3 times, the step (1) is returned.
By adopting the link fault detection and recovery method based on the EPON home gateway, the automatic recovery of the link can be ensured when the link is abnormal by detecting the EPON link at the WAN side and the wireless link at the LAN side, so that the equipment can be kept in an on-line state all the time even in an unattended state, and the excellent user experience performance is realized.

(2.5) restarting the EPON optical module and returning to the step (2.2);
the detection and recovery of the wireless link comprises the following steps:
(2.6) starting the wireless module;
(2.7) sending an ARP request message to a wireless terminal connected to the EPON home gateway;
(2.8) judging whether the ARP response message of the wireless terminal is received in a second set time period;
(2.9) if the ARP request message is received, judging that the wireless link is normal and finishing the wireless link detection process, otherwise, continuing the step (2.10);
(2.10) restarting the wireless module and returning to the step (2.7).
The link fault detection and recovery method based on the EPON home gateway specifically comprises the following steps (2.5):

1. A link failure detection and recovery method based on EPON home gateway is characterized by comprising the following steps:
(1) starting an EPON home gateway;
(2) detecting a link and executing a reset operation on the abnormal link to recover the link connection, wherein the two parallel processing processes of the detection and the recovery of the EPON link and the detection and the recovery of the wireless link are included;
