Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. The following description of at least one exemplary embodiment is merely illustrative in nature and is in no way intended to limit the invention, its application, or uses. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
FIG. 1 is a block diagram of one embodiment of a roaming system of the invention. As shown in fig. 1, the roaming system of this embodiment includes a gateway 10, a home mobile network device 20, and a roaming mobile network device 30.
The Home mobile network device 20 may be, for example, a Home Subscriber Server (HSS) of a Home mobile network, and the roaming mobile network device 30 may be, for example, a Mobility Management Entity (MME) of a roaming mobile network.
Wherein the gateway 10 stores a mapping between the home international mobile subscriber identity and the universal international mobile subscriber identity.
A universal international mobile subscriber identity, i.e. a universal IMSI, refers to an IMSI provided by an operator that has opened data roaming worldwide, such an operator may be, for example, a sponsoring operator. When the user of the home mobile network uses the general IMSI to carry out data communication in the roaming mobile network, the user is equivalent to a user of a sponsor operator. The home operator can implement roaming by sponsoring global roaming that the operator has already completed, avoiding the aforementioned large number of roaming negotiations, tests, and the like.
The roaming method of one embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 2.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a roaming method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the method of this embodiment includes:
step S202, the gateway receives a request message initiated by the first mobile network, wherein the request message comprises a first international mobile subscriber identity of the user.
The first mobile network and the second mobile network may be 4G networks, and the request message initiated by the first mobile network is an S6a signaling request in a fourth generation mobile communication technology. The S6a signaling request refers to a request message related to a subscribed service, a service level, an access restriction, a user location, a roaming restriction, and the like, and the request message performs operations such as updating data and inserting user data through the location of the S6a interface.
The first mobile network and the second mobile network may be a home mobile network and a roaming mobile network, respectively, and at this time, the first international mobile subscriber identity and the second international mobile subscriber identity are a home IMSI and a general IMSI, respectively.
Alternatively, the first mobile network and the second mobile network may be a roaming mobile network and a home mobile network, respectively, in which case the first international mobile subscriber identity and the second international mobile subscriber identity are the universal IMSI and the home IMSI, respectively.
And step S204, the gateway searches the second international mobile subscriber identity of the user according to the corresponding relation of the pre-stored first international mobile subscriber identity and the second international mobile subscriber identity.
In step S206, the gateway replaces the first international mobile subscriber identity of the user in the request message with the second international mobile subscriber identity of the user.
Step S208, the gateway sends the replaced request message to the second mobile network, so that the second mobile network processes the request message and responds.
In the above embodiment, when the user roams, the home mobile network identifier is enabled to roam with the home international mobile subscriber identifier, and the roaming mobile network identifier is enabled to roam with the universal international mobile subscriber identifier.
The received request message is converted by adopting the number corresponding relation prestored in the gateway, and the universal international mobile subscriber identity can be adopted to carry out data roaming in the deployed roaming network, so that the existing mobile network is not influenced, and the deployment is easy.
Accordingly, the gateway also converts the response message of the second mobile network. The procedure for the second mobile network to initiate a response message for the request message is described below in connection with fig. 3.
Fig. 3 is a signaling flow diagram of another embodiment of a roaming method of the present invention. As shown in fig. 3, the method of this embodiment includes, in addition to steps S202 to S208:
step S302, the gateway receives a response message initiated by the second mobile network, wherein the response message includes the second international mobile subscriber identity of the user.
Step S304, the gateway searches the first international mobile subscriber identity of the user according to the corresponding relation of the pre-stored first international mobile subscriber identity and the second international mobile subscriber identity.
In step S306, the gateway replaces the second international mobile subscriber identity of the user in the response message with the first international mobile subscriber identity of the user.
Step S308, the gateway sends the replaced response message to the first mobile network.
Therefore, the devices in the first mobile network and the second mobile network can always adopt the IMSI corresponding to the network to perform data transmission and data processing, and the existing process cannot be influenced.
As described above, when the user roams, the request message can be initiated by either the home mobile network or the roaming mobile network, and the gateway can convert the request message initiated by either one of the two networks. The following describes, by taking two signaling flows in S6a as examples, processing methods when the roaming-location network initiates a request message and when the home-location network initiates a request message, respectively, with reference to fig. 4 and 5.
Fig. 4 is a signaling flow diagram of a location update request processing method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 4, the method of this embodiment includes:
step S402, the MME of the roaming mobile network initiates an ULR (Update Location Request) message, where the ULR message includes a general IMSI.
Step S404, the gateway searches the home IMSI of the user according to the pre-stored corresponding relationship between the general IMSI and the home IMSI.
Step S406, the gateway replaces the generic IMSI of the user in the ULR with the home IMSI of the user.
Step S408, the gateway sends the replaced ULR to the HSS of the home mobile network.
Step S410, the HSS of the home mobile network processes the ULR and returns a ULA (Update Location Answer) message, where the ULA includes the home IMSI of the user.
Step S412, the gateway searches for the general IMSI of the user according to the pre-stored corresponding relationship between the general IMSI and the home IMSI.
Step S414, the gateway replaces the home IMSI of the user in the ULA with the general IMSI of the user.
Step S416, the gateway sends the replaced ULA to the MME of the roaming mobile network.
By adopting the method, when the user roams, the home mobile network can complete the storage of the user position according to the received home IMSI in the ULR according to the original flow, and the influence on the current network is small.
Fig. 5 is a signaling flow diagram of a processing method for inserting a user data request according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 5, the method of this embodiment includes:
step S502, the HSS of the home mobile network initiates an IDR (Insert Data Request) message, where the IDR message includes the home IMSI.
Step S504, the gateway searches the general IMSI of the user according to the corresponding relation between the pre-stored general IMSI and the home IMSI.
Step S506, the gateway replaces the home IMSI of the user in the IDR with the general IMSI of the user.
In step S508, the gateway sends the replaced IDR to the MME of the roaming mobile network.
Step S510, the MME of the roaming mobile network processes the IDR and returns an IDA (Insert Data Answer) message, where the IDA includes the general IMSI of the user.
Step S512, the gateway searches the home IMSI of the user according to the pre-stored corresponding relationship between the general IMSI and the home IMSI.
Step S514, the gateway replaces the general IMSI of the user in IDA with the home IMSI of the user.
Step S516, the gateway sends the replaced IDA to the HSS of the home mobile network.
By adopting the method, when the user roams, the roaming mobile network can complete the insertion of the user data according to the received general IMSI in the IDR according to the original flow, and the influence on the current network is small.
The ULR and IDR messages in the above embodiments are only exemplary, and other request messages may be used for data interaction between the roaming mobile network and the home mobile network according to needs.
Besides storing the mapping relation between the home IMSI and the general IMSI, the gateway can also store the authentication information of the general IMSI. Therefore, before the above data interaction process, the gateway can also authenticate the general IMSI of the user. The authentication flow of one embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 6.
