Description

Catheter applied to uterus
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of medical instruments, in particular to a catheter applied to uterus.
Background
At present, the uterus is one of the very important organ parts of women, and the health of the uterine environment is related to the women's happy life, so that an accurate and effective inspection method is an important guarantee for ensuring the health of the uterus of women. The health of the uterus of a human body can be generally reflected by the endometrium, and the commonly used methods for examining the endometrium include: endometrial biopsy, ultrasound, X-ray fluoroscopy, CT tomography, endoscopic viewing, and the like. Endometrium biopsy is to scrape endometrium through hysteroscope and make pathological examination, it is a histological diagnosis, its advantage can be diagnosed definitely, the disadvantage is that the blind material taking or easy material taking is insufficient, especially there is insufficient material taking disadvantage often in postmenopausal patient; the ultrasound, X-ray fluoroscopy and CT tomography technologies adopt a physical pulse reflection image reconstruction method to inspect tissues, and have the advantages of no wound, no pain, convenience and intuition, and the defect of insufficient resolution when the technology is used for the details of the tissue surface or the initial diagnosis of cancer, wherein the resolution of ultrasound can reach 0.1mm magnitude at most, and the resolution of the CT tomography technology only reaches centimeter magnitude, so that potential focuses are difficult to find; endoscopic observation belongs to direct imaging, the fineness of imaging is completely dependent on the resolution of an endoscopic imaging sensor used, and the resolution is limited by the size of an endoscope, and the resolution is enough to deal with routine examination, but the requirement of decision-making examination on potential focuses and tissue surfaces is difficult to meet. For example, in the case of female infertility and pregnancy, detailed decision-making examination needs to be performed on the endometrium, which covers the mucosa and consists of the mucosal epithelium and the intrinsic layer below the mucosal epithelium, wherein the mucosal epithelium is columnar epithelium, and the number and shape of columnar epithelial cells of the mucosal epithelium are different in different health states of the human body, so that the morphological characteristics of the mucosal epithelium are also different, but the change of the characteristics is in the micrometer range, and the decision-making result is difficult to be given by the conventional examination method.
An Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is a high-resolution imaging technique that has been rapidly developed in recent ten years, and is based on the principle of low coherent light interference and combined with confocal microscopy to detect echo time delay and echo intensity signals of backscattered waves of incident weak coherent light at different depth layers of a biological tissue, and obtain a two-dimensional or three-dimensional high-resolution microstructure of a sample by scanning, thereby obtaining a tomographic image of the sample to be measured without damage in vivo. The OCT imaging technology does not need to add any developer, has no ionization effect and fluorescence effect, has higher safety than the traditional imaging technology, is called as optical biopsy, has micron-order optical resolution and is two orders higher than the X-ray and nuclear magnetic resonance imaging technology. The advantages of high resolution, nondestructive detection and the like enable the OCT tomography imaging technology to be widely applied to the fields such as cardiovascular and the like, and achieve satisfactory effects. However, the direct application of OCT in the cardiovascular field to the endometrium of a human body is not completely applicable, and the two main reasons are: firstly, the OCT catheter in the cardiovascular field is soft in material, small in overall diameter and inconvenient to operate, so that the OCT catheter is not suitable for examination of uterine cavities; and secondly, the situation that the OCT catheter is tightly attached to the endometrial wall inevitably occurs during the examination of the endometrium, so that the morphological characteristics of the endometrial mucosa epithelium can be damaged, and the examination requirements are not met. Therefore, there is a strong need for a new OCT technique that can effectively solve the above-mentioned problems.
