Specifically, the calling terminal sends a multimedia message, and the receiving module 301 receives the multimedia message sent by the calling terminal; sending the received multimedia message to a user information query module 302, wherein the user information query module 302 acquires the identifier of the called terminal from the multimedia message, and queries the user information of the called terminal in a user data center according to the identifier of the called terminal; when the called terminal is determined to open the RCS service according to the user information and the forwarding mode is the forwarding mode, extracting and storing a multimedia message content body from the original multimedia message through the sending module 303, encoding the multimedia message content body added with the control information into a MIME format, and sending the multimedia message in the MIME format to the RCS system; when the user information query module 302 determines that the called terminal opens the RCS service and the forwarding mode is the forwarding mode two, the sending module 303 sends a multimedia message notification to the called terminal in the form of a short message; however, when the called terminal does not acquire the multimedia message within the validity period of acquiring the multimedia message, the sending module 303 extracts and stores the multimedia message content from the original multimedia message, encodes the multimedia message content added with the control information into a MIME format, and then sends the multimedia message in the MIME format to the RCS system. The multimedia message in MIME format is pushed to the called terminal through the RCS system.
It should be noted that the above described embodiment of the forwarding system is only illustrative, for example, the division of the modules is only a logical function division, and there may be other division ways in actual implementation, such as: multiple modules or components may be combined, or may be integrated into another system, or some features may be omitted, or not implemented. In addition, all functional modules in the embodiments of the present invention may be integrated into one processing module, or each module may be separately used as one module, or two or more modules may be integrated into one module; the integrated module can be realized in a form of hardware, or in a form of hardware plus a software functional unit.
Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of a system structure for acquiring a multimedia message according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention; the system comprises: the forwarding system and the RCS system of the multimedia message; the multimedia message forwarding system comprises: the system comprises a receiving module, a user information inquiry module and a sending module; wherein the content of the first and second substances,
the receiving module receives a multimedia message sent by a calling terminal; the user information query module acquires the identification of the called terminal from the multimedia message, queries the user information of the called terminal in the user data center according to the identification of the called terminal, and acquires a query result returned by the user data center; the user information comprises the forwarding mode of the multimedia message and the like;
when the forwarding mode is determined to be a forwarding mode one, the sending module encodes the multimedia message into a MIME format, and then sends the multimedia message in the MIME format to the RCS system; when the forwarding mode is determined to be the second forwarding mode, the sending module sends a multimedia message notice to the called terminal, the called terminal replies an extraction request message according to the multimedia message notice within the multimedia message acquisition validity period, and if the multimedia message is successfully acquired, the sending module ends the operation; if the called terminal does not acquire the multimedia message within the multimedia message acquisition validity period, the sending module encodes the multimedia message into a MIME format and sends the encoded MIME format multimedia message to the RCS system based on SMTP and/or HTTP;
after the RCS system receives the multimedia message with the MIME format obtained after coding, the multimedia message with the MIME format is stored as a multimedia file; and when the RCS system receives registration information sent when the called terminal is registered and is on line, the multimedia file is actively pushed to the called terminal.
The multimedia message is sent to the called terminal through the system, and the called terminal directly browses the content of the multimedia message through the RCS client on the terminal.
The MIME-formatted multimedia message comprising: multimedia message content extracted from the original multimedia message, the address of the called terminal, and the like.
The multimedia file includes: multimedia message content extracted from the original multimedia message, and the like.
As will be appreciated by one skilled in the art, embodiments of the present invention may be provided as a method, system, or computer program product. Accordingly, the present invention may take the form of a hardware embodiment, a software embodiment, or an embodiment combining software and hardware aspects. Furthermore, the present invention may take the form of a computer program product embodied on one or more computer-usable storage media (including, but not limited to, disk storage, optical storage, and the like) having computer-usable program code embodied therein.

Claims (4)

1. A method of forwarding a multimedia message, the method comprising:
determining the identification of the called terminal according to the multimedia message; obtaining the user information of the called terminal according to the identification of the called terminal, and determining the forwarding mode of the multimedia message of the called terminal; the user information includes: whether the called terminal opens the RCS service and the multimedia message forwarding mode;
the forwarding mode of the multimedia message comprises: the first forwarding mode is a direct forwarding mode, and the second forwarding mode is a forwarding mode which is not acquired after the message is expired;
if the called terminal is determined to open the RCS service and the forwarding mode is the forwarding mode one, the multimedia message is sent to an RCS system; the multimedia message is pushed to a called terminal by the RCS system;
when the called terminal is determined not to open the RCS service or the called terminal opens the RCS service and the forwarding mode is the forwarding mode II, a multimedia message notice is sent to the called terminal in a short message mode, and the called terminal is waited to extract the multimedia message according to the multimedia message notice reply extraction request message; when the extraction request message sent by the called terminal is not received within the multimedia message acquisition validity period, the multimedia message is sent to an RCS system; and the multimedia message is pushed to the called terminal by the RCS system.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein: transmitting the multimedia message to an RCS system, comprising:
converting the multimedia message into a multimedia message with an MIME format, and sending the multimedia message to an RCS system;
the MIME-formatted multimedia message comprising: control information and a multimedia message content body extracted from an original multimedia message; the control information comprises the address of the called terminal.
3. A system for forwarding multimedia messages, the system comprising: the system comprises a receiving module, a user information inquiry module and a sending module; wherein the content of the first and second substances,
the receiving module is used for receiving the multimedia message;
the user information query module is used for determining the identification of the called terminal according to the multimedia message; obtaining the user information of the called terminal according to the identification of the called terminal, and determining the forwarding mode of the multimedia message of the called terminal; the user information includes: whether the called terminal opens the RCS service and the multimedia message forwarding mode; the forwarding mode of the multimedia message comprises: the first forwarding mode is a direct forwarding mode, and the second forwarding mode is a forwarding mode which is not acquired after the message is expired;
the sending module is used for sending the multimedia message to an RCS system when the called terminal is determined to open the RCS service and the forwarding mode is the forwarding mode one; the multimedia message is pushed to a called terminal by the RCS system;
when the fact that the called terminal does not open the RCS service or the called terminal opens the RCS service and the forwarding mode is the second forwarding mode is determined, a multimedia message notice is sent to the called terminal in a short message mode, and the called terminal is waited to extract the multimedia message according to the multimedia message notice reply extraction request message; when the extraction request message sent by the called terminal is not received within the multimedia message acquisition validity period, the multimedia message is sent to an RCS system; and the multimedia message is pushed to the called terminal by the RCS system.
4. The system of claim 3, wherein the sending module is specifically configured to: converting the multimedia message into a multimedia message with an MIME format, and sending the multimedia message to an RCS system;
the MIME-formatted multimedia message comprising: control information and a multimedia message content body extracted from an original multimedia message; the control information comprises the address of the called terminal.
