The terminal can be installed with a system program (such as an Android system and an iOS system) and an application program. A user uses various applications based on his/her own different needs while using the terminal. The terminal can be provided with an application program with an electronic reading function and a video playing function.
An exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method for controlling data display, as shown in fig. 1, a process flow of the method may include the following steps:
in step S110, when a first data unit in a data set including a plurality of data units is displayed, an index label corresponding to each data unit in the data set is displayed on a side of the curved surface.
In implementation, when the data of the data set needs to be displayed, the data volume contained in a general data set is large, and the size of the curved screen is limited, so that the data contained in the data set cannot be directly displayed on the curved screen. The display may be performed in units of data units at this time, and for example, in the case where the data set is a document, the plurality of data units may be a plurality of document pages. Documents include, but are not limited to, novels, popular science articles, magazines, papers, and the like. As another example, for the case where the data set is a video episode, the plurality of data units may be a multi-episode television show. When a data set including a plurality of data units is displayed, as shown in fig. 2, index tabs such as "1, 2, 3 \8230; 27" corresponding to the document pages may be displayed on the curved side, or index tabs such as "first, second, third, \8230;" corresponding to the tv series may be displayed on the curved side.
Alternatively, the index tabs corresponding to the data units of the displayed target data are not necessarily all index tabs. For example, a novel includes seven-hundred pages of content, and the index tabs of the seven-hundred pages may not all be displayed on the curved side, so that only a predetermined number of index tabs may be displayed, and when a user is detected to slide from the top to the bottom of the curved side, or from the bottom to the top of the curved side, the index tabs may be scrolled according to a user gesture.
Step S120, when a click instruction of a target index tag in the corresponding index tags is detected on the side edge of the curved surface, determining a second data unit corresponding to the target index tag.
In implementation, for example, when the index tabs corresponding to the document pages, such as "1, 2, 3 \8230; 27", are displayed on the curved side edge, as shown in fig. 3A, when a click command corresponding to "2" (page 2) is detected on the curved side edge, the second data unit corresponding to "2" is determined in the background.
Step S130, displaying the second data unit.
In implementation, a data set including a plurality of data units is currently displayed, and when a click instruction corresponding to a target index tag is detected on a side edge of a curved surface, the currently displayed data set including the plurality of data units is switched to display a second data unit corresponding to the target index tag. For example, when a click instruction corresponding to "2" (page 2) is detected on the side of the curved surface, the second data unit corresponding to "2" is determined in the background. As shown in FIG. 3B, the document page of the second data unit, i.e., the second page, corresponding to "2" is displayed.
Alternatively, if the data set is a document and the data unit is a document page, step S120 may include: when a click instruction of a target index tag in corresponding index tags is detected on the side edge of the curved surface, determining a target document page corresponding to the target index tag; step S130 may include: and displaying the target document page.
Alternatively, if the data set is a video episode and the data unit is a single video, step S120 may include: when a click instruction of a target index tag in corresponding index tags is detected on the side edge of the curved surface, determining a target video corresponding to the target index tag; step S130 may include: and displaying the target video.
Optionally, when the index tab needs to be displayed, the index tab can be hidden. Correspondingly, the method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure further comprises: and when the touch signal is not detected on the side edge of the curved surface within the preset time, hiding the index tag.
In implementation, for example, when the touch signal is not detected on the side of the curved surface within 2 seconds, it is considered that the user is viewing the current page or viewing the current video, and therefore it can be determined that the user does not switch the currently displayed content any more in a short time, and the index tag can be hidden.
Alternatively, when the hidden index tab needs to be displayed, step S110 may include: when a data set comprising a plurality of data units is displayed and a touch signal is detected on the side edge of the curved surface, an index label is displayed on the side edge of the curved surface.
In implementation, when the index tag is hidden, if a user needs to check the index tag, the side edge of the curved surface can be clicked within a preset position range or clicked at any position, and when a touch signal is detected on the side edge of the curved surface, the index tag corresponding to the data unit of the target data is called at the side edge of the curved surface.
Optionally, when the hidden index tab needs to be displayed, the hidden index tab may also be displayed by the following method in this embodiment. The method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure further comprises the following steps: when a sliding touch signal in a preset direction is detected on the curved surface side edge and the displacement distance of the sliding touch signal exceeds a first preset threshold value, hiding the index tag, wherein the preset direction is the direction from the curved surface side edge to the outer side of the inner side of the curved surface screen.
In implementation, as shown in fig. 4, when the user slides with a finger from point a to point B, the sliding touch signal from point a to point B may be detected on the side edge of the curved surface, and at this time, if the displacement distance of the sliding touch signal exceeds a first preset threshold, the user is considered not to have to view the index tag, and the index tag is hidden.
Alternatively, if the curved screen is provided with two curved sides, on which curved side the index tab is displayed may be set by the user. Correspondingly, the curved screen includes a first curved side and a second curved side, and the step of displaying the index label corresponding to each data unit in the data set on the curved side may include: displaying an index label on the side edge of the first curved surface; the method provided by the embodiment may further include: and when the sliding touch signal with the starting position on the first curved surface side edge and the ending position on the second curved surface side edge is detected, switching the index label to the second curved surface side edge for displaying.
In implementation, as shown in fig. 5, the curved screen includes a first curved side and a second curved side, and the index label corresponding to the data unit of the target data is displayed on the first curved side. And when a C point with a starting position on the side edge of the first curved surface and a D point sliding touch signal with an ending position on the side edge of the second curved surface are detected, switching the index label to the side edge of the second curved surface for displaying.
Alternatively, if the curved screen is provided with two curved sides, the index tab displayed on which curved side may be set by the user. Correspondingly, the curved screen includes a first curved side and a second curved side, and the step of displaying the index tag corresponding to each data unit in the data set on the curved side may include: displaying an index label on the side edge of the first curved surface; the method provided by the embodiment may further include: and when a sliding touch signal that the starting position is on the side edge of the first curved surface and the distance between the ending position and the side edge of the first curved surface exceeds a second preset threshold value is detected, switching the index label to the side edge of the second curved surface for displaying.
In implementation, the user may not necessarily drag the index tab from the side of the first curved surface to the side of the second curved surface, and only needs to slide slightly, the index tab may be automatically switched to the side of the second curved surface for display. As shown in fig. 6, the curved screen includes a first curved side and a second curved side, and the index tab corresponding to the data unit of the target data is displayed on the first curved side. And when a sliding touch signal of a point E with the starting position on the side edge of the first curved surface and a point F with the distance between the ending position and the side edge of the first curved surface exceeding a second preset threshold value is detected, switching the index label to the side edge of the second curved surface for displaying.
In addition to the above manner, for the case that the data set is a document, if the document includes index tags of a chapter and a page number within the chapter, the chapter may be displayed on the side of the first curved surface, and the page number within the chapter may be displayed on the side of the second curved surface. Specifically, when a click instruction corresponding to a target chapter is detected on a side edge of the curved surface, the page number in the chapter corresponding to the chapter is determined, the content of the first page of the chapter corresponding to the chapter is determined, and the content is displayed. And when a click instruction corresponding to the page number in the determined target chapter is detected on the side edge of the curved surface, jumping to a document page corresponding to the page number in the target chapter of the chapter, such as a page 72 of the fifth chapter.
In summary, when a first data unit in a data set including a plurality of data units is displayed, an index tag corresponding to each data unit in the data set is displayed on a side of the curved surface; when a click instruction of a target index tag in the corresponding index tags is detected on the side edge of the curved surface, determining a second data unit corresponding to the target index tag; and displaying the second data unit. When the user switches the currently displayed document page, the user does not need to drag the scroll bar back and forth to find the target document page, can directly click the target index tag to switch to the target data unit corresponding to the target index tag, and the operation efficiency is high. In addition, because the index label is displayed on the side edge of the curved surface, the side edge of the curved surface has a radian different from that of a common screen, and therefore misoperation caused by the fact that a user accidentally rubs the screen can be prevented.
Yet another exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides a terminal, as shown in fig. 7, provided with a curved screen including at least one curved side, the terminal including:

The application framework layer 1260 provides various APIs that may be used when building applications, and developers can build their own applications by using these APIs, such as activity management, window management, view management, notification management, content provider, package management, session management, resource management, and location management. At least one application program runs in the application layer 1280, and the application programs can be a contact program, a short message program, a clock program, a camera application and the like of an operating system; or an application program developed by a third-party developer, such as an instant messaging program, a photo beautification program, and the like.
Taking an operating system as an IOS system as an example, programs and data stored in the memory 920 are as shown in fig. 9, and the IOS system includes: a Core operating system Layer 1320 (Core OS Layer), a Core Services Layer 1340 (Core Services Layer), a Media Layer 1360 (Media Layer), and a touchable Layer 1380 (Cocoa Touch Layer). The core operating system layer 1320 includes an operating system kernel, drivers, and underlying program frameworks that provide more hardware-like functionality for use by program frameworks located in the core services layer 1340. The core services layer 1340 provides system services and/or program frameworks, such as a Foundation (Foundation) framework, an account framework, an advertisement framework, a data storage framework, a network connection framework, a geographic location framework, a motion framework, etc., that are needed by the application. Media layer 1360 provides audiovisual related interfaces for applications, such as graphics-related interfaces, audio-related interfaces, video-related interfaces, audio-video transmission technology wireless playback (AirPlay) interfaces, and the like. Touchable layer 1380 provides various common interface-related frameworks for application development, and touchable layer 1380 is responsible for user touch interaction operations on terminal 100. Such as a local notification service, a remote push service, an advertising framework, a game tools framework, a message User Interface (UI) framework, a User Interface UIKit framework, a map framework, and so forth.
In the framework illustrated in FIG. 9, the framework associated with most applications includes, but is not limited to: a base framework in the core services layer 1340 and a UIKit framework in the touchable layer 1380. The base framework provides many basic object classes and data types, provides the most basic system services for all applications, and is UI independent. While the class provided by the UIKit framework is a basic library of UI classes for creating touch-based user interfaces, iOS applications can provide UIs based on the UIKit framework, so it provides an infrastructure for applications for building user interfaces, drawing, processing and user interaction events, responding to gestures, and the like.
The touch display screen 930 is used to receive a touch operation of a user on or near it using any suitable object such as a finger, a touch pen, or the like, and to display a user interface of each application. The touch display 930 is generally provided on a front panel of the terminal 930. The touch display screen 930 may be designed as a full-screen, a curved screen, or a profiled screen. The touch display 930 may be designed to be a combination of a full-screen and a curved-screen, and a combination of a non-flat screen and a curved-screen, which is not limited in this embodiment. Wherein:
a curved screen refers to a screen design where the screen area of the touch display screen 9301 does not lie in one plane. Generally, curved screens present at least one such section: the section is in a bent shape, and the projection of the curved screen in any plane direction perpendicular to the section is a planar screen design, wherein the bent shape can be U-shaped. Alternatively, a curved screen refers to a screen design where at least one side is curved. Alternatively, the curved screen means that at least one side edge of the touch display screen 9301 extends to cover the middle frame of the terminal 100. Since the side edge of the touch display screen 9301 extends to cover the middle frame of the terminal 100, that is, the middle frame which does not originally have the display function and the touch function is covered as the displayable area and/or the operable area, the curved screen has a higher screen occupation ratio. Alternatively, as in the example shown in fig. 10, a curved screen refers to a screen design in which both left and right sides 92 are curved; or, the curved screen refers to a screen design in which the upper and lower side edges are curved; or, the curved screen refers to a screen design in which the upper side, the lower side, the left side and the right side are all in a curved shape. In an alternative embodiment, the curved screen is made of a touch screen material with certain flexibility.
