Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more apparent, the technical solutions of the present application will be described in detail and completely with reference to the following specific embodiments of the present application and the accompanying drawings. It should be apparent that the described embodiments are only some of the embodiments of the present application, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
The solution of the present application relates to a mobile terminal and a server, which are explained below from the perspective of each end, respectively.
Fig. 1 is a schematic flowchart of a WiFi switch control method applied to a mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. From the device perspective, the execution subject of the flow is, for example, the following devices that can be mobile terminals: mobile phones, tablet computers, intelligent wearable devices, notebook computers, car machines, Point Of Sale (POS) machines, and the like. From the program perspective, the execution subject of the process may be a program on the mobile terminal, such as an operating system, an application client, a web page, and the like.
The process in fig. 1 may include the following steps:
s101: and inquiring data of WiFi hotspots in a specified area from a server, wherein the specified area is a service coverage area of a communication base station corresponding to the current mobile terminal, namely, a signal coverage area of the communication base station corresponding to the current mobile terminal.
S102: and according to the query result returned by the server, if the WiFi hotspot is determined not to exist in the designated area, the WiFi switch of the mobile terminal is in a closed state.
Unless otherwise specified, the mobile terminals mentioned in the following embodiments refer to the mobile terminals in the process.
In the embodiment of the present application, the WiFi hotspot described in the process may be encrypted or unencrypted. The data for a WiFi hotspot may refer to: basic information of a WiFi hotspot; for example, a Service Set Identifier (SSID), a password, provider information, and the like; the data for WiFi hotspots may also refer to: the statistical information for the WiFi hotspots, for example, whether there are WiFi hotspots, how many WiFi hotspots exist, a specific distribution situation, and the like.
In the embodiment of the application, the user can set the mobile terminal to indicate the preference of the user for the WiFi hotspot according to the past experience of using the WiFi hotspot. For example, which WiFi hotspots are preferred to be connected, which WiFi hotspots are not wanted to be reused after being not good or having information security risk (which is equivalent to adding to a blacklist, for the mobile terminal, such WiFi hotspots may not be considered as the WiFi hotspots in the process).
In the embodiment of the application, the server may store data of the WiFi hotspot in advance, so as to provide query service for the mobile terminal.
Because the signal receiving capability of the mobile terminal is limited, WiFi signals within a range of only tens of meters or only tens of meters can be received, so the mobile terminal does not necessarily need all data collected by the server, but generally inquires the server about partial data related to the current position of the mobile terminal, for example, data of WiFi hotspots in an area near the mobile terminal.
The designated area may include at least in part a vicinity of the mobile terminal, and the designated area may be designated based on specific information transmitted by the mobile terminal to the server.
The specific information may be carried in an inquiry request sent when the mobile terminal inquires the server, or may be separately sent to the server, etc. The specific information is typically: a region identification for identifying one or more regions; of course, in practical applications, the specific information may also contain more contents, such as performance data of the mobile terminal, data of the current location, setting data for indicating a preference for WiFi hotspots, and the like.
In the embodiment of the application, if the WiFi hotspot does not exist in the designated area, it means that the mobile terminal currently has a higher probability of not being connected to the WiFi hotspot. In this case, if the WiFi switch of the mobile terminal is in an on state, the power of the mobile terminal and other related resources (e.g., thread resources for scanning WiFi signals) are wasted; to avoid this waste, the WiFi switch can be turned off automatically without manual control by the user; in addition, if the WiFi switch is in the off state, the off state may be maintained.
Similarly, for step S102, according to the query result returned by the server, if it is determined that the WiFi hotspot exists in the designated area, the WiFi switch of the mobile terminal may be in an on state. In another optional implementation, if the WiFi switch of the mobile terminal is originally in an off state and it is determined that a WiFi hotspot exists in the designated area, it may be further determined whether the WiFi hotspot is within a signal receiving range of the mobile terminal, if so, the WiFi switch may be automatically turned on, otherwise, the WiFi switch may not be turned on, which is also helpful to save the power of the mobile terminal.
It should be noted that, for the step of determining whether there is a WiFi hotspot in the designated area, in addition to the query result returned by the server, the WiFi hotspot connected to the mobile terminal may be considered. In this case, if both of these two types of criteria indicate that there is no WiFi hotspot in the designated area, the WiFi switch may be turned off.
In the embodiment of the present application, a service coverage area of a communication base station corresponding to a current mobile terminal may be set as the specified area, and in this case, the specific information may specifically be identification information of the communication base station. The following description is mainly based on such a scenario.
Through the method of fig. 1, the designated area may include an area near the mobile terminal, and if there is no WiFi hotspot near the mobile terminal, the WiFi switch of the mobile terminal may be automatically turned off, so as to avoid wasting the power of the mobile terminal, and therefore, the above technical problem may be partially or completely solved.
Based on the method of fig. 1, the examples of the present application also provide some specific embodiments of the method, and further embodiments, which are described below.
In the embodiment of the application, the mobile terminal can directly or indirectly communicate with the corresponding communication base station, and can acquire the identification information of the communication base station. The mobile terminal can inquire the data of the WiFi hot spot in the designated area from the server according to the identification information of the communication base station corresponding to the mobile terminal currently.
Further, the mobile terminal may query the data of the WiFi hotspot from the server according to the obtained identification information of the communication base station when communicating with the communication base station. In this way it can be ensured that the mobile terminal is currently indeed within the service coverage area of the communication base station.
Further, in order to prevent the mobile terminal from frequently inquiring the server, the mobile terminal may inquire the server only when some specific communication is made with the communication base station. For example, the mobile terminal may query the server only each time it reports a location (usually reporting a cell number) to the communication base station; for another example, the mobile terminal may query the server only when reporting the location for the first time after entering the service coverage area of the communication base station; and so on.
In the embodiment of the application, the server may obtain data of the WiFi hotspot in advance, and further, if a certain WiFi hotspot is in a service coverage area of a certain communication base station, an association relationship between the communication base station and the WiFi hotspot may be established and stored. The association relationship may include identification information of the communication base station and data of the WiFi hotspot.
One communication base station may be associated with one or more WiFi hotspots, and one WiFi hotspot may also be associated with one or more communication base stations.
Further, for step S102, the server may determine the query result according to the association relationship that is established and stored between the communication base station and the WiFi hotspot.
In the embodiment of the application, the server can acquire and store the data of the WiFi hotspot and establish the association relationship through modes such as mobile terminal reporting or automatic detection.
Take the reporting mode of the mobile terminal as an example.
The plurality of mobile terminals (specifically, any mobile terminal served by the server, including the mobile terminal in the flow of fig. 1) may record the WiFi hotspot (and the identification information of the corresponding communication base station during connection) connected by the mobile terminals, to obtain connection record information, and send the connection record information to the server, so that the server may obtain and store data of the WiFi hotspot according to the connection record information and establish the association relationship.
The process in the previous paragraph may also be more real-time. For example, when the mobile terminal is connected to a certain WiFi hotspot in the service coverage area of the current communication base station, if the server has not established an association between the WiFi hotspot and the communication base station, the server may establish and store the association. Therefore, the completeness of the data on the server is improved.
In the embodiment of the present application, when the mobile terminal leaves the service coverage area of the current communication base station, if the WiFi switch is in an on state, the WiFi switch may be automatically turned off temporarily. Further, after the existence of the WiFi hotspot in the area where the mobile terminal is located is clarified next, the WiFi switch may be further controlled.
For example, when the mobile terminal enters the service coverage area of another communication base station from the service coverage area where the mobile terminal is currently located, whether an available WiFi hotspot exists in the service coverage area of the other communication base station can be detected; if so, enabling the WiFi switch to be in an open state, and further trying to connect a WiFi hotspot in the service coverage area of the other communication base station; if not, the WiFi switch can be in the off state, so that the electric quantity of the mobile terminal is saved.
It should be noted that the available WiFi hotspots mainly refer to free WiFi hotspots, which may include a WiFi hotspot that can be directly connected without encryption, a shared encrypted WiFi hotspot, and the like.
The detection method can be, for example, querying a server, or searching for a WiFi signal by itself, etc.
In the embodiment of the application, the WiFi switch can be controlled according to the real-time state of the mobile terminal connected with the WiFi.
For example, when the mobile terminal is in a connection state with a WiFi hotspot, the connection state may be detected, and when it is detected that the connection state transitions to a disconnection state, the WiFi switch may be turned off.
Continuing to explain along the above example, in practical applications, if a plurality of WiFi hotspots exist near the mobile terminal, when the mobile terminal is disconnected from the currently connected WiFi hotspot, another WiFi hotspot may be quickly connected, and even the originally connected WiFi hotspot may be reconnected. In consideration of this situation, the mobile terminal may be given a time period for attempting to connect, for example, when the connection state is detected to be converted into the disconnection state, the mobile terminal waits for a time period, and if the mobile terminal fails to connect to the WiFi hotspot in the time period, the WiFi switch is turned off.
In the above embodiments, the specified area is the service coverage area of the communication base station corresponding to the current mobile terminal. In practical applications, the designated area may be enlarged or reduced according to requirements, and the following description is given for convenience of understanding.
For example, if the user is likely to be in a fast moving vehicle, such as a bus, a train, etc., the mobile terminal will tend to move rapidly with the user from the service coverage area to the service coverage area of another communication base station and will also move continuously, so that the mobile terminal may frequently query the server. For such a situation, the designated area may be expanded, and for example, taking a cellular network as an example, assuming that the communication base station corresponding to the current mobile terminal is an a base station, the designated area may include, in addition to the service coverage area of the a base station, for example, other 6 communication base stations adjacent to the service coverage area of the a base station, so as to be beneficial to reducing the number of times of querying the mobile terminal.
Of course, the designated area may be reduced. For example, for a directional base station, the directional base station generally has a plurality of antennas with different orientations, so as to divide a service coverage area of the directional base station into a plurality of cells with corresponding numbers, and in this case, the designated area may be a cell where the mobile terminal is currently located; the mobile terminal can inquire the data of the WiFi hotspot in the designated area from the server according to the cell number of the current cell and the identification information of the corresponding communication base station. Therefore, due to the fact that the designated area is reduced, the mobile terminal can know the nearby situation more accurately through inquiry, and the WiFi switch can be controlled reasonably.
Further, in practical applications, the designated area may be designated even without depending on the communication base station. For ease of understanding, two types of schemes are described below as examples.
The first type of scheme: the designated coordinate point and the designated distance are used as region identifiers, and can be used for identifying a region which takes the designated coordinate point as a center and takes the designated distance as the distance from the center to the edge of the region. The mobile terminal can inquire the data of the WiFi hotspots in the designated area from the server according to the designated coordinate point and the designated distance.
In the case of the above paragraph, in general, the specified region may be a region identified by the specified coordinate point and the specified distance. Taking the designated area as a circular area (mainly considering plane coordinates) or a spherical area (mainly considering stereo space coordinates) as an example, the designated distance is the radius of the circle or the sphere.
Such schemes are suitable for mobile terminals with self-Positioning capability, such as mobile terminals capable of Global Positioning System (GPS) Positioning. The mobile terminals may obtain data of their current locations by positioning, and further query the server for data of WiFi hotspots in a specified area centered around the current location according to the data of their current locations (as the specified coordinate point, generally, specifically, a coordinate point expressed by latitude and longitude).
Wherein a distance from the center to an edge of a designated area (i.e., described above) is designated as a preset value, or the distance is designated based on performance data of the mobile terminal.
For the former way in the previous paragraph, for example, the preset value may be obtained by the user selecting or inputting on the mobile terminal in advance; for another example, the preset value may also be obtained from the setting information of the server. For the latter approach of the previous paragraph, for example, the performance data may reflect the WiFi signal reception capability of the mobile terminal, and the distance may be specified in accordance with the capability; assuming that the mobile terminal is capable of receiving WiFi signals at a maximum of 30 meters, the distance may be specified as several times of 30 meters or 30 meters plus a fixed distance, etc.
The second scheme is as follows: the electronic map designates the POI as an area identifier, which can be used to identify an area belonging to the POI. Buildings such as malls, hotels, government agencies, office buildings, schools, etc. shown by the electronic map can be used as the POI. The mobile terminal can inquire the data of the WiFi hotspot in the designated area from the server according to the current POI (generally, the POI needs to be determined through positioning).
In the case of the above paragraph, in general, the designated area may be an area belonging to the POI.
For example, when the user is in a certain shopping mall and the mobile terminal determines that the user is currently in the shopping mall through the installed electronic map application, the name of the shopping mall is sent to the server to query data of the WiFi hotspot in the shopping mall.
Based on the same idea, the embodiment of the present application further provides a data query service method for a WiFi hotspot, which is explained from the perspective of a server, and fig. 2 is a schematic flow diagram of the query service method. From the device perspective, the execution subject of the flow is, for example, the following devices that can act as servers: computer clusters, large and medium sized computers, personal computers, and the like. From the program perspective, the execution subject of the flow may be a program on a server, such as an operating system, a server program, and the like.
The flow in fig. 2 may include the following steps:
s201: receiving an inquiry request of a mobile terminal for data of a WiFi hotspot in a specified area, wherein the specified area is a service coverage area of a communication base station corresponding to the mobile terminal at present.
S202: and determining a query result corresponding to the query request according to pre-stored data of the WiFi hotspot and returning the query result so that the mobile terminal can control the WiFi switch according to the query result.
In the embodiment of the present specification, the server may acquire and store data of the WiFi hotspot in a large scale and a large range in advance, and the collection manner is not limited, for example, mobile terminal reporting, or automatic detection, and the like. Further, in order to facilitate quick retrieval when the mobile terminal queries, the server may process the acquired WiFi hotspot data according to a certain policy, for example, establish an association relationship. The foregoing has been described in some detail for purposes of clarity and brevity only.
In this embodiment of the application, for step S202, the storing the data of the WiFi hotspot specifically may include: acquiring connection record information sent by a plurality of mobile terminals, wherein the connection record information records WiFi hotspots connected with the mobile terminals; and establishing and storing an association relationship between the communication base station and the WiFi hotspot according to the connection record information, wherein the WiFi hotspot is in the service coverage area of the associated communication base station, and the association relationship comprises data of the corresponding WiFi hotspot.
In this embodiment of the application, for step S202, the storing the data of the WiFi hotspot may further include: and when the mobile terminal is connected with a WiFi hotspot in the service coverage area, if the server does not establish the association relationship between the WiFi hotspot and the communication base station, establishing and storing the association relationship.
In this embodiment of the application, for step S202, determining a query result corresponding to the query request according to the pre-stored WiFi hotspot data may specifically include: determining identification information of a communication base station corresponding to the current mobile terminal; and determining a query result corresponding to the query request according to the determined identification information and the established and stored association relation.
In the embodiment of the present application, the data of the WiFi hotspot may change over time, for example, there is a new increase or a decrease, there is a change in the existing data, and so on. Therefore, the server usually needs to update the stored data of the WiFi hotspot periodically or in real time to ensure the reliability of the data.
Based on the same idea, the embodiment of the application also provides corresponding equipment and a nonvolatile computer storage medium.
