Fig. 2 is a flowchart of an upgrade method supporting multiple schemes in an embodiment, and an embodiment of the present invention provides an upgrade method supporting multiple schemes, which is used for upgrading at least one power line communication terminal having different chip schemes; the upgrading method comprises the following steps:
step S202: and sending an upgrading request to the power line communication terminal to be upgraded.
It should be noted that the upgrade method supporting multiple schemes is implemented based on a computer device. The computer equipment is connected with the power line communication terminal to be tested through a network cable. The power line communication terminal to be tested can be a power modem. The modem is a device which modulates network signals onto wires and solves the problem of network wiring by using the existing wires. The chip solution of the power cat may be a Broadcom (Broadcom Corporation, boston) chip solution; the chip scheme of the power cat may also be a QCA (Qualcomm Atheros, INC) chip scheme. Of course, the chip scheme of the power modem may be other chip schemes, and is not further limited herein. And upgrading the different chip schemes by adopting the passed upgrading firmware.
And sending an upgrading request to a circuit line communication terminal to be upgraded.
Specifically, the upgrade request includes at least one type of ethernet frame type information capable of identifying different chip schemes.
The upgrade request is sent in the form of an MME message. An MME (Management Message Entity) Message is described based on an MME in the HomePlug AV. The message can only be supported or compatible with the equipment of the MME in the HomePlug AV standard, and the message can be used for monitoring, controlling and upgrading the MME supporting equipment in various ways. The upgrading request comprises information such as a destination MAC address, a source MAC address and an Ethernet frame type. The number of kinds of ethernet frame type information in the upgrade request is the same as the number of types of chip schemes capable of supporting the upgrade. If the upgrading method can upgrade the power line communication terminals of two different chip schemes, the types of the ethernet frame type information included in the upgrade request are also two types. For example, ethernet frame type information capable of identifying the QCA chip scheme may be represented by the code "88 e 1"; the ethernet frame type information capable of identifying the Broadcom chip scheme may be represented by the code "8912". The Ethernet frame type information can be self-defined information codes of the Botong company and the Gautong company.
Step S204: and acquiring the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded according to the response information fed back by the power line communication terminal to be upgraded.
After receiving the upgrade request, the power line communication terminal to be upgraded feeds back corresponding response information to the received upgrade request, and acquires the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded according to the response information. That is, according to the response information, it is possible to acquire whether the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is the QCA chip scheme or the Broadcom chip scheme.
Step S206: and determining an upgrading firmware matched with the chip scheme according to the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded.
Because different chip schemes correspond to different upgrading firmware, a plurality of upgrading firmware capable of upgrading operation aiming at different chip schemes are stored in the computer equipment. For example, if the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is the QCA chip scheme, upgrade firmware with extension names of ". nvm" and ". pib" may be used. If the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is the Broadcom chip scheme, an upgrade firmware with an extension name of ". ggl" may be adopted.
Step S208: and upgrading the power line communication terminal to be upgraded by adopting the determined upgrading firmware.
And calling corresponding upgrading firmware stored in the computer equipment, and upgrading the power line communication terminal to be upgraded.
By the multi-scheme supporting upgrading method, the upgrading firmware matched with the chip scheme can be determined according to the obtained chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded, and the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is upgraded by adopting the determined upgrading firmware. Compared with the traditional upgrading method, the upgrading method can only be used for upgrading the power line communication terminal with one chip scheme.
In one embodiment, the obtaining of the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded according to the response information fed back by the power line communication terminal to be upgraded includes the following steps:
step S302: and receiving a response message of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded, wherein the response message comprises the Ethernet frame type information and a chip version number of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded, wherein the chip version number comprises a chip model.
And receiving a response message of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded. The response message comprises the Ethernet frame type information and the chip version number of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded, wherein the chip version number comprises a chip model. As previously explained, the ethernet frame type information of the QCA chip scheme may be represented by the code "88 e 1"; the ethernet frame type information of the Broadcom chip solution may be represented by code "8912". And the power line communication terminal to be upgraded can also be obtained from the response message, wherein the power line communication terminal to be upgraded comprises a chip version number of the chip type. For example, a serial number "MAC-QCA 6410-1.1.1.1191-02-2013092" can be parsed from the response information, and by the serial number, it can be known that the power line communication terminal to be upgraded includes a chip having a model number of QCA6410 and a chip version number of 1.1.1. The power line communication terminal to be upgraded can also be analyzed from the response information, and the information that the chip model is BCM60500, the chip version number is 3.2.0 and the like is contained in the power line communication terminal to be upgraded can be analyzed.
Step S304: and acquiring the chip scheme according to the Ethernet frame type information.
And obtaining the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded according to the Ethernet frame type information in the response information. If the ethernet frame type information in the response message is "88 e 1", the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is the QCA chip scheme. If the ethernet frame type information in the response message is "8912", the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is the Broadcom chip scheme.
Further, the upgrading method further comprises the following steps:
and if the response message of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is not received within the preset time, detecting whether the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is in a working state. Wherein the preset time range can be 30 seconds to 60 seconds.
Optionally, within 45 seconds, if the response message of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is not received, whether the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is powered on or whether a good communication state is maintained with the computer device is detected, so as to verify whether the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is in a working state. And if the power line communication terminal is not in the working state, the power line communication terminal starts to execute the action of sending an upgrading request to the power line communication terminal to be upgraded after being in the working state through manual adjustment of a user.
In one embodiment, the upgrading method further includes a step of judging whether the chip version number of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is smaller than the latest version number, and when the chip version number of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is smaller than the latest version number, upgrading the power line communication terminal to be upgraded by using the determined upgrading firmware.
Specifically, a chip version number including a chip model of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is obtained according to the response information, and the obtained chip version number is a current version number of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded. And upgrading the power line communication terminal to be upgraded by adopting the determined upgrading firmware if the current version number is smaller than the version number of the upgrading firmware by judging the current version number and the version number (also called as the latest version number) of the upgrading firmware.
In one embodiment, the upgrading method further comprises the step of verifying the validity of the upgraded firmware through a preset verification tool, and when the upgraded firmware is legal, the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is upgraded by adopting the determined upgraded firmware.
Specifically, a verification tool MD5(Message-Digest Algorithm 5) is used to verify the validity of the upgraded firmware. MD5 is an irreversible encryption algorithm. The upgrade firmware has fixed file format or configuration information that is of its own, which may cause an upgrade failure or other problems if the upgrade firmware stored in the computer device is modified. Because MD5 is encrypted and cannot be calculated reversely, whether the upgraded firmware is modified or not can be confirmed by verifying the MD5 value of the upgraded firmware, if the upgraded firmware is modified, the upgraded firmware is illegal, and if the upgraded firmware is not modified, the upgraded firmware is legal.
In one embodiment, in the upgrading method, when the chip version number of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is smaller than the latest version number, the validity of the upgraded firmware is verified through a preset verification tool, and when the upgraded firmware is legal, the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is upgraded by adopting the determined upgraded firmware.
In one embodiment, the upgrade method further comprises displaying the upgrade result. If the upgrade is successful, displaying characters similar to upgrade success, and if the upgrade is failed, displaying characters similar to upgrade failure. Correspondingly, in each step, characters with similar information such as ' illegal ' and the current version number being the latest version number ' can be displayed, so that a user can be prompted to make corresponding coping operations conveniently.
FIG. 4 is an upgrade method to support multiple scenarios in another embodiment. The upgrading method supporting multiple schemes is used for upgrading two power line communication terminals with different chip schemes. One of the chip schemes is a QCA chip scheme, and the other is a Broadcom chip scheme.
The upgrading method comprises the following steps:
step S401: and sending an upgrading request to the power line communication terminal to be upgraded.
The upgrade request includes two types of ethernet frame type information capable of identifying different chip schemes. One of them may be the code "88 e 1" for the ethernet frame type information capable of identifying the QCA chip scheme, and the other may be the code "8912" for the ethernet frame type information capable of identifying the Broadcom chip scheme.
Step S402: and acquiring the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded according to the response information fed back by the power line communication terminal to be upgraded.
Step S403: and determining an upgrading firmware matched with the chip scheme according to the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded.
Step S404: and judging whether the chip version number of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is smaller than the latest version number.
And acquiring a chip version number containing the chip type of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded according to the response information, wherein the acquired chip version number is the current version number of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded. By determining the current version number and the version number of the upgraded firmware (also referred to as the latest version number), if the current version number is smaller than the version number of the upgraded firmware, step S405 is executed. And if the current version number is greater than or equal to the version number of the upgrading firmware, the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is considered to be the latest version and needs to be upgraded.
Step S405: and verifying the validity of the upgraded firmware through a preset verification tool.
When the upgrade firmware is legitimate, step S406 is performed. When the upgrade firmware is illegal, step S406 is not executed, and the legal upgrade firmware is obtained in other manners.
Step S406: and upgrading the power line communication terminal to be upgraded by adopting the determined upgrading firmware.
Because different chip schemes correspond to different upgrading firmware, two upgrading firmware capable of upgrading operation aiming at different chip schemes are stored in the computer equipment. For example, if the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is the QCA chip scheme, upgrade firmware with extension names of ". nvm" and ". pib" may be used to perform an upgrade operation thereon. If the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded is the Broadcom chip scheme, the upgrading operation can be performed by adopting upgrading firmware with an extension name of ". ggl".
By the upgrading method, the power line communication terminal to be upgraded of two different chip schemes can be upgraded, the upgrading process efficiency is high, and the user experience is high.

Step S704: and acquiring the chip scheme of the power line communication terminal to be upgraded according to the response information fed back by the power line communication terminal to be upgraded.
