With the development of information technology, the exchange of electronic information data becomes the main form of information transmission for people, and the sharing of information resources is more and more important. Therefore, it is often necessary to interconnect multiple storage devices or controllers within a storage device to each other to synchronize information. In the case of interconnection between devices using a network, each device system or controller system needs to have an IP address, and IP addresses of each device system or controller system cannot conflict with each other.
Currently, the most applied IP allocation method is a dynamic DHCP (dynamic Host Configuration protocol) allocation method, which uses a DHCP service to allocate IP addresses, and requires a DHCP server, and does not manually assign each IP address.
If a plurality of storage devices or a plurality of controller systems in one storage device are interconnected and use a DHCP server to allocate IP addresses for the storage devices, the cost is increased because the DHCP server needs to be added; if a DHCP service is started on a certain controller system as a DHCP server, the systems are not peer-to-peer, and the controller system starting the DHCP service cannot flexibly join and leave the Internet.
Therefore, how to provide a method for interconnecting systems in a local area network, which automatically allocates IP without using a DHCP server and without manual configuration, and any controller system can flexibly and dynamically join and leave a control system group is a technical problem to be solved by those skilled in the art.

Detailed Description
The core of the invention is to provide a local area network system and a method for interconnecting the internal controller systems of the local area network system.
In order to make the aforementioned objects, features and advantages of the present invention comprehensible, embodiments accompanied with figures are described in detail below.
In the following description, specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the present invention. The invention can be implemented in a number of ways different from those described herein and similar generalizations can be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit of the invention. The invention is therefore not limited to the specific implementations disclosed below.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for interconnecting systems in a local area network according to an embodiment of the present invention.
A specific embodiment of the present invention provides a method for interconnecting local area internal controllers among systems, including:
s11: the controller system obtains an IP address of a partner system within the local area network.
In the application, a set of all controller systems which need to be interconnected and are equivalent in a local area network is called a partner system group; for one of the controller systems, the other controllers are collectively called partner systems.
In a communication network, to implement interconnection between two devices or systems, IP (Internet Protocol, Protocol for interconnection between networks) addresses of both communication parties need to be known, and both parties perform interconnection and information transfer by using the IP addresses. So, all that needs to be done first is that the controller system obtains the IP address of the partner system within the local area network.
S12: and the controller system determines an idle IP address in a preset IP address network segment according to the acquired IP address of the partner system.
In one embodiment of the invention, the stored IP address used by the partner system is compared with the IP address in the preset IP address network segment, so that the idle and usable IP address can be conveniently and quickly known.
The IP address network segment in a lan system is generally preset according to the number of systems to be accommodated. After the IP addresses of the partner systems are determined, the IP addresses of all the partner systems are compared with all the IP addresses in the preset IP address network segment in the local area network, and therefore the idle IP addresses in the IP address network segment can be obtained.
S13: the controller system selects a free IP address for itself.
The controller system selects one IP address from the idle IP addresses as the IP address of the controller system.
According to the invention, the IP address is selected for each controller system by each controller system, and the DHCP (dynamic host configuration protocol) server is not used for allocating the IP address for the controller system, so that the cost of the DHCP server is saved, and the complicated step of manually configuring the IP address is avoided; meanwhile, the controller systems are in a peer-to-peer relationship, and can be flexibly added, withdrawn and closed.
S14: the controller system establishes connection with a partner system in the local area network by using the IP address of the controller system.
After the two parties needing communication in the network acquire the IP address of the other party, the two parties can be connected with the other party to carry out interconnection.
After the corresponding connection is established, message transmission or resource sharing can be carried out between the systems.
The method adopted by the invention automatically allocates the idle IP address under the condition of not using a DHCP server and not manually configuring the IP address. If the DHCP server is used for distributing the IP address for each controller system, a plurality of DHCP servers are needed to be added according to the actual situation, so that the cost is increased; meanwhile, if the DHCP service is started on the controller system to allocate IP addresses for the controller system and other partner systems, the relationship between the controller system for starting the DHCP service and the partner systems is not equal any more, and the controller system for starting the DHCP service cannot be quitted or closed randomly in order to ensure that the whole local area network can be used normally.
In one embodiment of the present invention, step S11 may include:
the controller system sends an Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) request message to the local area network, broadcasts an ARP request containing the IP Address of the target, i.e., partner system, to all controller systems on the local area network when sending the request message, and receives a returned ARP reply message, thereby determining the IP Address of the partner system.
In the process of sending an ARP request message to receiving an ARP return message and acquiring the IP address of a partner system in a local area network, a controller system scans all the IP addresses in the local area network from small to large, and then determines the IP address of the partner system, namely the IP address being used, according to the received ARP response message; of course, when scanning an IP address in a local area network, the scanning method is not limited to be from small to large.
In an embodiment provided by the present invention, step S11 may further include:
and the acquired IP address of the partner system is stored in the ARP table entry, so that the subsequent use is facilitated. For the form of storing the IP address of the partner system, the corresponding storage form, such as a text document, a compressed file, etc., can be selected according to the actual situation.
In one embodiment of the present invention, step S12 may include:
and comparing the IP address of the partner system acquired and stored in the ARP table entry with the preset IP address network segment of the local area network, so that the idle IP address in the preset IP address network segment of the local area network can be obtained.
The IP addresses which can be used by the system in the local area network are all in the IP address network segment which is selected and set in advance, the used IP addresses stored in the ARP table entry are compared with the IP addresses in the preset IP address network segment, and unused and idle IP addresses can be easily judged.
In an embodiment of the present invention, step S13, the controller system selecting a free IP address for itself, which may include:
the controller system may select an idle IP address from small to large, or from large to small, and may select an idle IP address that is not already used.
In the process of selecting an IP address for the controller system, it may also happen that more than two controller systems may select the same IP address at the same time S20, resulting in IP address conflict.
As shown in fig. 2, a flow chart of a solution for selecting the same IP address for a system with more than two controllers at the same time is shown, and in an embodiment of the present invention, there is also a corresponding solution based on the problem: the MAC address values of the controllers that selected the conflicting IP address are compared S21, wherein the controller system with the smaller MAC address value uses the conflicting IP address S22 and the other controller systems need to reselect the IP address.
And when the controller system selecting the conflict IP address allocates the conflict IP address, the controller system can also automatically set a corresponding allocation method for allocation according to the actual situation.
In the embodiment, the problem of IP address conflict when the controller system selects the IP address for the controller system is intelligently avoided, and the IP address can be effectively distributed and interconnected among the systems.
In an embodiment of the present invention, step S14 may include:
the connection establishment method is selected according to actual conditions, for example, a TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) network connection or a UDP (User datagram Protocol) network connection may be established between systems.
After the connection between the control systems is established, information transfer can be performed.
However, after the connection between the systems is established, during the operation of the controller system partner group, it is inevitable that the controller system suddenly fails, loses power or has no time to notify other partner systems to quit, in this case, an embodiment of the present invention provides a solution that:
and updating the ARP table entry after a specific time through the preset ARP table entry aging time, and deleting the IP address information and the interconnection information of the withdrawn or abnormally operated controller system. For example, if the preset ARP entry aging time is 20 minutes, the ARP entry is updated every 20 minutes. After updating, the timer for the aging time of the ARP table entry is reset so as to time the next update.
Under the method, the connection controller system does not need to disconnect, the ARP table entry can be automatically updated, the upper layer application and the service do not need to be disconnected, and the interconnection service of the upper layer application in the ARP table entry updating process does not need to be disconnected.
Another embodiment of the invention:
when each system in the local area network forms a cluster and starts working, an IP address network segment is appointed to be used according to the number of cluster controller systems and partner systems. For example, the IP address segment used by the contract partner system group is 192.168.1.0 and the sub-mask is 255.255.255.0. Then, the controller system sends an ARP request to the local area network, and searches for the IP address of a partner system according to the sequence from large to small of the IP address in the IP address network segment to obtain an ARP table entry, wherein the used IP address is stored in the ARP table entry. From the ARP entry, it is known that IP address 182.168.1.1 is already occupied by the running controller, and that the other IP addresses are idle.
After the controller system obtains the idle IP address, it selects an IP address 192.168.1.2 for itself, and its sub-mask is 255.255.255.0.
The controller system knows the IP addresses of the other partner systems and can establish a connection with them. The controller system establishes a TCP network connection with the partner system of 182.168.1.1 to synchronize information with each other.
Of course, the controller systems may establish a suitable network connection, such as a UDP network connection, etc., according to the actual situation.
The embodiment realizes intelligent interconnection among the controller systems in the local area network, saves the cost of the DHCP server, and also avoids the complicated process of manually configuring the IP address. The controller system of the partner system group in the local area network can flexibly join and quit the partner system group.
The invention provides a local area network system, relates to the field of communication interconnection, and particularly relates to interconnection between partner systems of a controller system cluster in a local area network.
The controller system is used for acquiring an IP address of a partner system in the local area network; determining an idle IP address in a preset IP address network segment according to the obtained IP address of the partner system; selecting an idle IP address for the user; and establishing connection with a partner system in the local area network by utilizing the IP address of the partner system.
Since the embodiment of the system part corresponds to the embodiment of the method part, the embodiment of the system part is described with reference to the embodiment of the method part, and is not repeated here.
In summary, the method provided by the present invention automatically allocates an idle IP address without using a DHCP server and without manually configuring an IP address. In addition, when the same IP address is selected at the same time, the controller system which selects the conflicting IP address according to the MAC address value of the controller system which meets the preset condition continues to use the conflicting IP by comparing the MAC address values of the controller systems which select the conflicting IP, and other systems in the process need to reselect the IP address.
The method for interconnecting the local area network system and the internal controller system thereof provided by the invention is described in detail above. The principles and embodiments of the present invention are explained herein using specific examples, which are presented only to assist in understanding the method and its core concepts. It should be noted that, for those skilled in the art, it is possible to make various improvements and modifications to the present invention without departing from the principle of the present invention, and those improvements and modifications also fall within the scope of the claims of the present invention.
