The display screen 10 includes a display panel 11 and a protection plate 12, the protection plate 12 covers the display panel 10, the display panel 11 includes a display area 111 and a non-display area 112 surrounding the display area 111, the protection plate 12 includes a display panel attaching area 121 and a frame area 122 surrounding the display panel attaching area 121, the display panel attaching area 121 is an area corresponding to a front projection of the display panel 11 on the protection plate 12, the support wall 20 is used for supporting the protection plate 12 in the frame area 122, and further provides support for the display panel 11, because the display panel 11 is not in direct contact with the support wall 20, when external pressure is applied to the display screen 10, stress concentration on the display panel 11 is avoided, and it is ensured that the display panel 11 can normally realize functions such as display and touch control.
The supporting wall 20 is provided with a groove 30, the groove 30 has a first opening 31 facing the display panel 11, the plurality of pressure sensing units 40 are located in the non-display area 112, at least a portion of the pressure sensing units 40 is present, wherein at least one groove 30 is present for each pressure sensing unit 40 in the portion, the exemplary display device in fig. 1a includes four pressure sensing units 40, each pressure sensing unit 40 corresponds to one of four sides of the display device, the grooves 30 are provided near three pressure sensing units 40 in the four pressure sensing units 40, the grooves 30 are not provided near another pressure sensing unit 40, when the display device is pressure-touched, the display panel 11 and the protection plate 12 are deformed due to pressure, the display panel 11 transmits the deformation to the pressure sensing units 40, the protection plate 12 and the display panel 11 near the groove 30 are deformed more, the three pressure-sensing cells 40, in which the grooves 30 are disposed, will also be deformed more, while the other pressure-sensing cell 40, in which the groove 30 is not disposed, will be deformed less. In order to ensure that the groove 30 has enough influence on enhancing the deformation of the pressure sensing unit 40, the embodiment of the present invention defines the corresponding relationship between the groove 30 and the pressure sensing unit 40: the pressure sensing unit 40 has an orthographic projection S1 on the protection plate 12, the groove 30 corresponding to the pressure sensing unit 40 has an orthographic projection S2 on the protection plate 12, and the edge of the protection plate 12 adjacent to the groove 30 has a first extending direction, it being understood that the first extending direction varies with the edge of the protection plate 12. Referring to fig. 1c, the orthographic projection S1 and the orthographic projection S2 overlap each other in a direction perpendicular to the first extending direction, and the orthographic projection S1 and the orthographic projection S2 have the same overlapping area S3 in the direction perpendicular to the first extending direction.
Fig. 2 is a schematic cross-sectional view of another display device according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 2, a groove 30 is disposed on a supporting wall 20, the groove 30 has a first opening 31 facing a display panel 11, the groove 30 is "U" shaped, three sides of the groove 30 are sealed by a material forming the supporting wall 20, only one side facing the display panel 11 is not sealed, a protective plate 12 and the display panel 11 near the groove 30 will be deformed more, and a pressure sensing unit 40 near the groove 30 will be deformed more. It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, an example that one groove is correspondingly disposed on each pressure sensing unit is used for explanation, but not limited to this, in other embodiments, at least two grooves may be correspondingly disposed on one pressure sensing unit.
The display device provided by the embodiment of the invention comprises a display screen, a supporting wall and a plurality of pressure sensing units, wherein the display screen comprises a display panel and a protective plate covering the display panel, the protective plate plays a role of protecting the display panel from being damaged by external abrasion and the like, the display panel comprises a display area and a non-display area surrounding the display area, the pressure sensing units are positioned in the non-display area of the display panel, a groove is arranged on the supporting wall, a first opening facing the display panel is formed in the groove, at least part of the pressure sensing units corresponds to the groove, and each pressure sensing unit in the pressure sensing units corresponding to the groove can correspond to one or more grooves. The pressure sensing unit corresponds to the groove in the sense that the pressure sensing unit has an orthographic projection S1 on the protection plate, the groove corresponding to the pressure sensing unit has an orthographic projection S2 on the protection plate, an edge of the protection plate adjacent to the groove has a first extending direction, and the orthographic projection S1 and the orthographic projection S2 overlap each other in a direction perpendicular to the first extending direction. According to the display device provided by the embodiment of the invention, the grooves corresponding to the pressure sensing units are arranged, so that when pressure is applied to the display panel, the deformation amount of the protection plate and the deformation amount of the display panel are increased, the deformation amount of the pressure sensing units is further increased, and the detection sensitivity of the pressure sensing units is improved.
Alternatively, referring to fig. 1b, the groove 30 presents a second opening 32 facing the protective plate 12 in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the protective plate 12. It can be understood that the groove 30 having the first opening 31 and the second opening 32 is easier to increase the deformation amount of the protection plate 12 and the display panel 11 when being subjected to the external pressure, and thus the pressure sensing unit 40 is more greatly deformed, compared to the "U" shaped groove 30.
Alternatively, referring to fig. 1b, the supporting wall 20 includes a first supporting body 21 and a second supporting body 22, the first supporting body 21 is located between the second supporting body 22 and the display panel 11, the first supporting body 21 is used for supporting the protection plate 12 in the frame region 122, and the groove 30 is located on the first supporting body 21.
Specifically, referring to fig. 1b, the supporting wall 20 includes a first supporting body 21 and a second supporting body 22, the first supporting body 21 and the second supporting body 22 are integrally formed, and a groove 30 is disposed on the first supporting body 21, so that the first supporting body 21 can be used to provide support for the supporting plate 12, so as to increase the deformation amount of the supporting plate 12 when the supporting plate 12 is subjected to external pressure by using the groove 30 on the first supporting body 21, because usually the display panel 11 and the protecting plate 12 are fixed together, for example, the protecting plate is attached to the display panel 11 by means of attachment, when the supporting plate 12 is greatly deformed, the display panel 11 is also greatly deformed accordingly, and the pressure sensing unit 40 located on the display panel 11 is also greatly deformed.
Alternatively, referring to fig. 1b, the height of the first support 21 is smaller than the height of the second support 22 in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the protection plate 12.
Specifically, referring to fig. 1b, the cross-sectional shape of the support wall 20 in a direction perpendicular to the extending direction thereof is "L" shaped, the surfaces of the first and second supports 21 and 22 are formed in a step shape, the height of the second support 22 is greater than that of the first support 21, so that the second support 22 encloses the protection plate 12 and the first support 21 providing support for the protection plate 12 inside, and the support wall 20 forms a frame-like structure carrying and protecting the display panel 11.
Alternatively, referring to fig. 1b, the depth H of the groove 30 in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the protective plate 12 is less than or equal to 0.5 mm. Since the protective plate 12 is thin and the protective plate 12 is in contact with the supporting wall 20, the depth of the groove may be set to be less than or equal to 0.5mm in order to prevent the protective plate 12 from being broken by an excessive pressure when an external pressure is applied.
Optionally, referring to fig. 1a and fig. 1c, in order to further enhance the influence of the groove 30 on enhancing the deformation of the pressure sensing unit 40, the embodiment of the present invention may further define the corresponding relationship between the groove 30 and the pressure sensing unit 40: in a direction perpendicular to the first direction of extension, the forward projection S1 is covered by the forward projection S2, i.e. the forward projection S1 is completely located in the overlap region S3.
Alternatively, referring to fig. 1a and 1c, the pressure sensing unit 40 is a square pressure sensing unit, the side of the square pressure sensing unit is a first length M, the groove 30 has a second length L along the extending direction of the support wall 20, that is, the groove 30 has a second length L along the first extending direction, when L < M, since the length of the groove 30 is too small, the amount of deformation occurring in the pressure sensing unit 40 cannot be effectively increased, and when L > 10M, the length of the groove 30 is too large, the mechanical strength of the support wall 20 is reduced, and sufficient mechanical support cannot be provided for the protection plate 12, so M ≦ L ≦ 10M may be set.
Alternatively, the cross-sectional shape of the groove along the extending direction of the support wall may be one or more of a rectangle, a semicircle, a trapezoid, and a semiellipse, which is not limited by the embodiment of the present invention.
Fig. 3 is a schematic top view of another display device according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 3, each pressure sensing unit 40 has at least one groove 30 corresponding to the pressure sensing unit, that is, as long as there is a pressure sensing unit 40 located in the non-display area 112, there is a groove 30 corresponding to the pressure detecting unit 40, and compared to the case that no groove is provided in the prior art, the embodiment of the present invention ensures that all pressure sensing units have a larger deformation amount when receiving an external pressure, thereby improving the detection sensitivity of all pressure sensing units. The display device exemplarily shown in fig. 3 includes four pressure sensing units, and it is understood that the number and the arrangement position of the pressure sensing units are not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
Alternatively, referring to fig. 3, the dashed box in fig. 3 is located at a corner of the display device, and thus also includes a corner of the display panel, and the display panel is provided with the pressure sensing unit 40 at the corner thereof.
Specifically, referring to fig. 3, the display panel is provided at corners thereof with pressure sensing units 40, and the pressure sensing units 40 have grooves 30 provided corresponding thereto. Since the amount of deformation of the display panel when subjected to the external pressure is small at the corners relative to the sides, when the pressure sensing unit 40 is disposed at the corners, a groove 30 is required to increase the amount of deformation of the pressure sensing unit 40 at the corners when subjected to the external pressure. When the pressure sensing units 40 are disposed at a plurality of corners of the display panel, a corresponding groove 30 may be disposed near the pressure sensing unit 40 at each corner to ensure sufficient sensitivity, thereby improving the pressure detection sensitivity of the entire display device as a whole.
Fig. 4 is a schematic partial cross-sectional view of another display device according to an embodiment of the invention, and as shown in fig. 4, the display panel 11 includes a first substrate 113 and a second substrate 114 located between the first substrate 113 and the protection plate 12, and the plurality of pressure sensing units 40 are located on a side of the first substrate 113 close to the second substrate 114.
Fig. 5 is a schematic partial cross-sectional view of another display device according to an embodiment of the invention, and as shown in fig. 5, the display panel 11 includes a first substrate 113 and a second substrate 114 located between the first substrate 113 and the protection plate 12, and the plurality of pressure sensing units 40 are located on a side of the second substrate 114 close to the first substrate 113.
Alternatively, referring to fig. 4 and 5, the display panel 11 may be a liquid crystal display panel or an organic light emitting display panel.
Specifically, referring to fig. 4 and fig. 5, if the display panel 11 is a liquid crystal display panel, the first substrate 113 may be an array substrate, and the second substrate 114 may be a color film substrate. If the display panel 11 is an organic light emitting display panel, the first substrate 113 may be an array substrate, and the second substrate 114 may be a cover plate. In other words, if the display panel is a liquid crystal display panel, the pressure sensing unit 40 may be disposed on the array substrate or the color film substrate. If the display panel is an organic light emitting display panel, the pressure sensing unit 40 may be disposed on the array substrate or the cover plate. In consideration of the fact that a circuit structure for driving a liquid crystal to rotate (corresponding to a liquid crystal display panel) or a light emitting layer to emit light (corresponding to an organic light emitting display panel) is often disposed on the array substrate, the pressure sensing unit 40 is optionally disposed on the array substrate. This has the advantage that the pressure sensing unit 40 and the signal line connected to the pressure sensing unit 40 can be formed at the same time as the circuit structure for driving the liquid crystal to rotate or the light emitting layer to emit light, and the manufacturing process can be simplified. In addition, part of signal lines in the circuit structure for driving the liquid crystal to rotate or the light emitting layer to emit light can be multiplexed into signal lines electrically connected with the pressure sensing unit 40 to transmit a bias voltage signal to the pressure sensing unit 40 or transmit a pressure sensing detection signal output from the pressure sensing unit 40, so that the layout area of the signal lines connected with the pressure sensing unit 40 is reduced, and the problem of tense wiring in a non-display area is solved.
Fig. 6 is a schematic cross-sectional view illustrating another display device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 6, the display device further includes an elastic material 50, the elastic material 50 is located in the groove 30, and the elastic material 50 contacts the protection plate 12.
Specifically, referring to fig. 6, the elastic material 50 is filled in the groove 30, and the elastic material 50 is in contact with the protection plate 12, since the elastic material 50 has a larger deformation amount when being subjected to an external pressure, when the protection plate 12 is subjected to an external pressure, the elastic material 50 also has a larger deformation amount near the groove 30 filled with the elastic material 50, and meanwhile, the elastic material 50 is filled in the groove 30 of the support wall 20 to enhance the mechanical strength of the support wall 20, so that the embodiment of the invention not only improves the deformation amount of the protection plate 12 near the groove 30 when being subjected to an external pressure, but also ensures that the support wall 20 has sufficient mechanical strength to support the protection plate 12.
Alternatively, referring to fig. 6, the elastic material 50 includes a silicone or acrylic material. The silica gel and the acrylic material have good elasticity and electrical insulation, and the physical and chemical stability and the service life are long.
Fig. 7 is a schematic structural diagram of a pressure sensing unit according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 7, the pressure sensing unit 20 includes a first resistor R1, a second resistor R2, a third resistor R3, and a fourth resistor R4, a first end of the first resistor R1 and a first end of the fourth resistor R4 are electrically connected to a first power input terminal D1, a second end of the first resistor R1 and a first end of the second resistor R2 are electrically connected to a first sensing signal measurement terminal S1, a second end of the fourth resistor R4 and a first end of the third resistor R3 are electrically connected to a second sensing signal measurement terminal S2, and a second end of the second resistor R2 and a second end of the third resistor R3 are electrically connected to a second power input terminal D2.
Specifically, referring to fig. 7, the first resistor R1, the second resistor R2, the third resistor R3, and the fourth resistor R4 form a wheatstone bridge, when a finger presses the display panel, the first resistor R1, the second resistor R2, the third resistor R3, and the fourth resistor R4 deform, so that the voltage output value of the wheatstone bridge changes, an operating voltage can be applied to the wheatstone bridge through the first power input terminal D1 and the second power input terminal D2, the voltage output value of the wheatstone bridge can be detected through the first sensing signal measuring terminal S1 and the second sensing signal measuring terminal S2, and the voltage value of the wheatstone bridge is calculated to obtain a pressure value. Alternatively, referring to fig. 7, the first resistor R1, the second resistor R2, the third resistor R3 and the fourth resistor R4 are all made up of serpentine traces, specifically, taking the first resistor R1 as an example, the serpentine trace of the first resistor R1 includes a long side extending along the second extending direction and a short side extending along the third extending direction, therefore, the first resistor R1 can be deformed in the second extending direction, and similarly, the third resistor R3 can also be deformed in the second extending direction, the second resistor R2 and the fourth resistor R4 are able to deform in the third extending direction, and the resistance values of the first resistor R1, the second resistor R2, the third resistor R3 and the fourth resistor R4 change according to their own deformation amounts, therefore, the magnitude of the pressure value of the pressing point can be calculated by the difference of the deformation amount of the pressure sensing unit in the second extending direction and the third extending direction and converted into the voltage change amount. By adopting the snake-shaped routing structure, on one hand, the first resistor R1, the second resistor R2, the third resistor R3 and the fourth resistor R4 can be ensured to have larger reference resistance values, and simultaneously, the size of the resistor is reduced, so that the resistor can be distributed in a smaller area, and the influence of temperature difference is eliminated; on the other hand, the contact area between the resistor and the substrate in contact with the resistor can be increased, so that the resistor can more accurately sense the strain of the substrate, and the pressure sensing precision is improved. The substrate in contact with the resistor can be an array substrate, a color film substrate or a cover plate.
Fig. 8a is a schematic structural diagram of another pressure sensing unit according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 8a, the pressure sensing unit has a quadrilateral shape, is made of a semiconductor material, and includes a first side 131 and a second side 132 which are oppositely arranged, and a third side 133 and a fourth side 134 which are oppositely arranged; the pressure sensing unit includes a first power signal input terminal Vin1 at the first side 131 and a second power signal input terminal Vin2 at the second side 132 for inputting a bias voltage signal to the pressure sensing unit; the pressure sensing unit further includes a first sensing signal measuring terminal Vout1 located at the third side 133 and a second sensing signal measuring terminal Vout2 located at the fourth side 134 for outputting a pressure sensing detection signal from the pressure sensing unit.
Fig. 8b is an equivalent circuit diagram of the pressure sensing unit shown in fig. 8 a. Referring to fig. 8a and 8b, the pressure sensing unit may be equivalent to a wheatstone bridge including four equivalent resistors, respectively, an equivalent resistor Ra, an equivalent resistor Rb, an equivalent resistor Rc and an equivalent resistor Rd, wherein a region between the second power signal input terminal Vin2 and the first sensing signal measurement terminal Vout1 is the equivalent resistor Ra, a region between the second power signal input terminal Vin2 and the second sensing signal measurement terminal Vout2 is the equivalent resistor Rb, a region between the first power signal input terminal Vin1 and the first sensing signal measurement terminal Vout1 is the equivalent resistor Rd, and a region between the first power signal input terminal 1 and the second sensing signal measurement terminal Vout2 is the equivalent resistor Rc. When the bias voltage signals are input to the first power signal input terminal Vin1 and the second power signal input terminal Vin2, current flows through each branch of the wheatstone bridge. When the display panel is pressed, the pressure sensing unit is subjected to shearing force from a position corresponding to the display panel, and the impedance of at least one of the equivalent resistance Ra, the equivalent resistance Rb, the equivalent resistance Rc and the equivalent resistance Rd inside the pressure sensing unit changes, so that the pressure sensing detection signals output by the first sensing signal measuring end Vout1 and the second sensing signal measuring end Vout2 of the pressure sensing unit are different from the pressure sensing detection signals output by the first sensing signal measuring end Vout1 and the second sensing signal measuring end Vout2 of the pressure sensing unit when no pressure is applied, and therefore, the magnitude of the touch pressure can be determined.
Alternatively, the pressure sensing unit may be square in shape. The advantage of this arrangement is that it is beneficial to make the resistances of the equivalent resistor Ra, the equivalent resistor Rb, the equivalent resistor Rc and the equivalent resistor Rd the same, so that, under the condition of no pressing, the potentials between the first sensing signal measuring terminal Vout1 and the second sensing signal measuring terminal Vout2 are equal, and the pressure sensing signals output by the first sensing signal measuring terminal Vout1 and the second sensing signal measuring terminal Vout2 are 0, which is beneficial to simplifying the calculation process of the pressure value and improving the sensitivity of the pressure sensing.
The display device in the embodiment of the invention can be a mobile phone, a tablet personal computer, intelligent wearable equipment and the like.
