It should be understood that the number of terminal devices, first servers, second servers, and networks in fig. 1 is merely illustrative. There may be any number of terminal devices, first servers, second servers, and networks, as desired for implementation.
With continued reference to FIG. 2, a flow 200 of one embodiment of a method for activating input method settings for a terminal device according to the present application is shown. The method for activating the input method setting item of the terminal equipment comprises the following steps:
step 201, determining whether a preset condition is satisfied.
In the present embodiment, a terminal device (e.g., the terminal device 101 shown in fig. 1) on which a method for activating an input method setting item for the terminal device operates may determine whether a preset condition is satisfied. If the preset condition is determined to be satisfied, continuing to execute step 202; and if the preset condition is determined not to be met, ending the process.
In some optional implementations of this embodiment, the preset condition may include, but is not limited to, at least one of:
1. the user performs an operation of starting an input panel of the input method application. The input method application may be a third-party input method application installed on the terminal device. The input panel may include, but is not limited to, at least one of: virtual keyboard, input box, keys corresponding to various input modes, and the like. By way of example, when the user clicks an icon of the input method application or an input box of the input method application, the user is instructed to perform an operation of starting an input panel of the input method application, and the preset condition is satisfied.
2. The user performs an operation of starting a voice input mode of the input method application. As an example, a key corresponding to the voice input mode may be provided on the input panel of the input method application, and when the user clicks the key corresponding to the voice input mode, it indicates that the user performs an operation of starting the voice input mode of the input method application, and at this time, the preset condition is satisfied. The input method application may include a plurality of input modes, such as a pinyin input mode, a wubi type input mode, a handwriting input mode, a voice input mode, and the like. The key corresponding to the input mode may be a physical key or a virtual key.
3. The current time point reaches the preset detection time point of each preset detection period. Here, the terminal device may periodically detect whether a preset condition is satisfied. Specifically, the terminal device may set each detection period and a detection time point of each detection period in advance; then comparing the current time point with the detection time point of each detection period; and finally, if the current time point is the same as the detection time point of one detection period, the current time point is shown to reach the preset detection time point of one preset detection period, and the preset condition is met at the moment.
At step 202, it is determined whether an input method setting item of the input method application is in an activated state.
In this embodiment, in the case where it is determined that the preset condition is satisfied, the terminal device may determine whether an input method setting item of the input method application is in an activated state. If it is determined that the input method setting item is not in the activated state, the process continues to step 203. The input method setting item has various functions, such as setting an input mode of an input method application, setting an input mode of the input method application, performing sound recording and voice recognition, and the like. The input mode may include a landscape input mode, a portrait input mode, and the like. The activated state is the state in which the input method setting item is in normal operation.
In this embodiment, the terminal device may determine whether the input method setting item is in an activated state in various ways.
In some optional implementations of this embodiment, the terminal device may send a first message to an input method setting item of the input method application; if a second message corresponding to the first message returned by the input method setting item is received within a preset time period, determining that the input method setting item is in an activated state; and if the second message returned by the input method setting item is not received within the preset time period, determining that the input method setting item is not in the activated state. As an example, if the terminal device receives a second message returned by the input method setting item within 2 seconds after the first message is sent to the input method setting item, the input method setting is in an activated state; and if the terminal equipment does not receive the second message returned by the input method setting item within 2 seconds after the first message is sent to the input method setting item, indicating that the input method setting is not in an activated state.
In some optional implementation manners of this embodiment, the terminal device may obtain an identifier list of a currently running program; if the identification of the input method setting item exists in the identification list, determining that the input method setting item is in an activated state; and if the identification of the input method setting item does not exist in the identification list, determining that the input method setting item is not in an activated state. The program identifier is composed of numbers, letters, symbols, and the like, and can be used to uniquely identify the program. The identification of the input method setting item may be used to uniquely identify the input method setting item.
In some optional implementations of this embodiment, the terminal device may detect a state of the first shared file using the input panel; if the first shared file is in a locked state, determining that the input method setting item is in an activated state; and if the first shared file is in the unlocked state, determining that the input method setting item is not in the activated state. The first shared file is a shared file between the input panel and the input method setting item which are generated in advance, and the state of the first shared file may include a locked state and an unlocked state. As an example, the input method setting item may call a file locking instruction every preset time length to lock the first shared file for the preset time length; if the input method setting item is in the activated state, the first shared file is always in the locked state; if the input method setting item is not in the activated state, the first shared file can be automatically unlocked after being locked for a preset time length and is always in the unlocked state.
Step 203, sending the device identifier of the terminal device to the first server, so that the first server generates activation information of the input method setting item, and sends the device identifier and the activation information to the second server, and the second server searches for the first long connection through the device identifier and sends the activation information to the terminal device through the first long connection.
In this embodiment, when it is determined that the input method setting item is not in the activated state, first, the terminal device may obtain a device identifier of the terminal device, and send the device identifier to the first server; then, the first server may generate activation information of the input method setting item, and send the device identifier and the activation information to the second server; and finally, the second server can find the first long connection through the equipment identifier and send the activation information to the terminal equipment through the first long connection.
In this embodiment, after the user installs the input method application on the terminal device, the input method setting item may obtain the device identifier of the terminal device, and write the device identifier into a shared file that can be accessed by each application installed on the terminal device. In the case where it is determined that the input method setting item is not in the activated state, the terminal device may acquire the device identification from the shared file. The device identifier is composed of numbers, letters, symbols, and the like, and can be used to uniquely identify the device.
In this embodiment, the first server may be a background server of the input method application, which may generate the activation information. The activation information is generated according to a data structure specification of a push notification which can be pushed by the second server, and can be used for activating the input method setting item.
In this embodiment, the second server may be a push notification server, and may push various notifications to the terminal device through the first long connection. Wherein the first long connection is a long connection pre-established between the second server and the terminal device.
And step 204, responding to the received activation information, and activating the input method setting item by using the activation information.
In this embodiment, in the case where activation information is received, the terminal device may activate an input method setting item using the received activation information.
With continued reference to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of an application scenario of a method for activating an input method setting item of a terminal device according to an embodiment of the present application. In the application scenario of fig. 3, in a case where it is determined that the preset condition is satisfied and the input method setting item of the input method application is not in an active state, the terminal device 301 may send the device identifier 304 of the terminal device 301 to the first server 302; upon receiving the device identification 304, the first server 302 may generate activation information 305 of the input method setting item, and transmit the device identification 304 and the activation information 305 to the second server 303; the second server 303 may look up the first long connection 306 through the received device identification 304 and send the activation information 305 to the terminal device 301 through the first long connection 306; the terminal device 301 may activate the input method setting item using the received activation information 305.
According to the method for activating the input method setting item of the terminal device, the terminal device can determine whether the input method setting item applied by the input method is in an activated state or not under the condition that the preset condition is determined to be met; under the condition that the input method setting item is determined not to be in the activated state, the terminal device can send the device identification of the terminal device to the first server; after receiving the device identifier, the first server may generate activation information of the input method setting item, and send the device identifier and the activation information to the second server; the second server can search for the first long connection through the received equipment identifier and send the activation information to the terminal equipment through the first long connection; the terminal device may activate the input method setting item using the received activation information. Thereby realizing the quick activation of the input method setting item.

At step 402, it is determined whether an input method setting item of an input method application is in an active state.
In this embodiment, in the case where it is determined that the preset condition is satisfied, the terminal device may determine whether an input method setting item of the input method application is in an activated state. If the input method setting item is not in the activated state, continuing to execute step 403; if the input method setting item is determined to be in the activated state, the step 405 is directly skipped to.
Step 403, sending the device identifier of the terminal device to the first server, so that the first server generates activation information of the input method setting item, and sends the device identifier and the activation information to the second server, where the second server searches for the first long connection through the device identifier, and sends the activation information to the terminal device through the first long connection.
Wherein the first long connection is a long connection pre-established between the second server and the terminal device.
In response to receiving the activation information, the input method setting item is activated using the activation information, step 404.
