In one possible implementation, a setting button may be provided on the gateway device, and when a triggering operation on the setting button is detected, the gateway device will initiate the networking configuration function. The setting button may be a certain hardware button on the smart home device, or may also be a virtual button provided for a display interface of a specific application (such as a smart home application), which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
After the gateway device starts the networking configuration function, the network configuration information of the gateway device may be synchronized to the smart home device based on the networking configuration function. For example, the gateway device may send a multicast message, where the multicast message is used to query the local area network IP address of the smart home device; when the response message of the intelligent home device is received, the gateway device can confirm that the intelligent home device is found, and then the gateway device can send the configuration message to the routing device through the wired connection, and the routing device sends the configuration message to the intelligent home device through the wireless connection. Wherein, the response message carries the local area network IP address of the intelligent home device.
505. The routing device receives the configuration message sent by the gateway device through the wired connection (as shown in 505a in fig. 5), and sends the configuration message to the smart home device through the wireless connection (as shown in 505b in fig. 5), and the smart home device establishes a connection with the gateway device according to the network configuration information of the gateway device.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the routing device may be used as an intermediate device to forward a message between the gateway device and the smart home device, that is, the routing device may forward the configuration message sent by the gateway device to the smart home device. After the routing device forwards the configuration message to the intelligent home device, the intelligent home device can be directly connected with the gateway device, and therefore networking is achieved. In order to save the device resources, the routing device can disconnect the wireless connection with the smart home device and the wired connection with the gateway device after realizing the function of the routing device as the intermediate device.

The smart home device receives, through the wireless connection, a configuration message (shown as 506a in fig. 5) sent by the gateway device through the wired connection, and sends, according to the network configuration information of the gateway device, a connection request (shown as 506b in fig. 5) to the gateway device, where a destination IP address of the configuration message is a local area network IP address of the smart home device, the configuration message carries the network configuration information of the gateway device, and the connection request carries the network configuration information of the gateway device.
Specifically, the smart home device may send a response message to the gateway device when receiving the multicast message of the gateway device, and the gateway device sends the configuration message to the routing device through the wired connection according to the local area network IP address of the smart home device carried in the response message. The intelligent home equipment can receive the configuration message sent by the gateway equipment through the wired connection through the wireless connection.
In the embodiment of the present invention, after the intelligent home device obtains the configuration message of the gateway device through forwarding by the routing device, the intelligent home device may establish a connection with the gateway device according to the network configuration information of the gateway device carried in the configuration message, that is, access to the local area network established by the gateway device. In a possible implementation manner, after receiving the configuration message of the gateway device, the smart home device may change the default network configuration information of the smart home device into the network configuration information of the gateway device, and then automatically restart the smart home device, so that the change of the network configuration information becomes effective, and further, the smart home device may send a connection request to the gateway device according to the network configuration information of the gateway device. The connection request is used for requesting to establish direct connection with the gateway device, namely, directly accessing to the local area network established by the gateway device.
507. And when receiving the connection request of the intelligent household equipment, the gateway equipment establishes wireless network connection with the intelligent household equipment.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when receiving a connection request, the gateway device may verify a network configuration message carried in the connection request, including an SSID (i.e., a network name of a local area network), an encryption mode, and a password of the gateway device. After the verification is passed, the gateway device can agree with the connection request of the intelligent home device and establish direct wireless network connection with the intelligent home device, so that the intelligent home device can access the local area network established by the gateway device, and networking is realized.
According to the method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the intelligent household equipment can be indirectly connected to the gateway equipment through the routing equipment through the wireless connection between the intelligent household equipment and the routing equipment and the wired connection between the routing equipment and the gateway equipment. The intelligent home equipment can receive the configuration message sent by the gateway equipment through the indirect connection, so that the intelligent home equipment can establish direct connection with the gateway equipment according to the network configuration information of the gateway equipment carried in the configuration message, and the networking of the intelligent home equipment is realized.
