Description

Method and device for displaying watching number of people in live broadcast room
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of network live broadcast, in particular to a method and a device for displaying the number of people watching in a live broadcast room.
Background
The network live broadcast enables information transfer to be faster and more convenient, and the special characteristic of strong communication timeliness makes the network live broadcast be particularly popular with young people, and a brand new entertainment mode is provided for the majority of users. In recent years, the network live broadcast is more and more diversified, and various live broadcast forms appear, wherein the network personal live broadcast develops particularly rapidly due to the characteristics of intuition, good expression form, rich content, strong interactivity, divisible audiences and the like.
The number of audiences in the live broadcast room is an important factor influencing the live broadcast enthusiasm of the anchor, so that the live broadcast server can count the number of people watching the live broadcast room in real time and display the number of people watching the live broadcast room to the anchor client, so that the anchor can know the watching condition of the live broadcast video in time. Currently, one way for a live server to count the number of people watched is: and during the broadcasting of the anchor, continuously counting the number of the watching people to display at the client of the anchor, and when the anchor is closed, determining that the number of the watching people is zero, wherein the basis for determining the broadcasting and closing of the anchor is whether the network connection of the client of the anchor is interrupted.
The inventor researches and discovers that: in a live network scenario, under the influence of a network environment, a network jitter phenomenon may occur in a network connection between the anchor client and the network side, that is, a phenomenon of repeated disconnection and reconnection between the anchor client and the network side may occur. In fact, when network jitter occurs, the anchor is likely not to be closed, the live video is still being continued, and the viewer watching the live video is still watching. However, at this time, the network connection of the anchor client is interrupted due to network jitter, and the live broadcast server determines that the anchor is closed, and the number of watching users is zero, so that the current number of watching users is zero, which is not in accordance with the actual watching situation of the audience. Moreover, the wrong statistical result of the number of the watching people can not only make the anchor have the illusion that audiences are quickly lost, so that the live broadcasting experience of the anchor is not good, but also induce the anchor to make wrong decisions, such as termination of live broadcasting, and is not beneficial to smooth live broadcasting.

Fig. 1 is a schematic view of a live network architecture according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the live network includes: the system comprises an anchor client, a plurality of watching clients, a Content Delivery Network (CDN) node and a live broadcast server.
The process of performing webcast by using the webcast system may include: the anchor client uploads the live video stream to the CDN node, the CDN node receives the live video stream to complete the stream pushing process of the live video stream, meanwhile, the CDN node sends a stream pushing notification to the live broadcast server, after the live broadcast server receives the stream pushing notification, the live broadcast server determines that the anchor starts live broadcast, a live broadcast room corresponding to the live broadcast can be pushed to a live broadcast website home page, and a user can select live broadcast content to be watched according to the pushing of the website home page. After a certain user selects a live broadcast room to be watched, a live broadcast video stream is obtained from the CDN node through a watching client installed in terminal equipment of the user, and watching is carried out, so that the stream pulling process of the live broadcast video stream is completed. If the CDN node cannot receive the live broadcast video stream uploaded by the anchor client due to network connection jitter and the like between the anchor client and the CDN node in the live broadcast process, the CDN node sends a flow break notification to a live broadcast server.
As described above, in the prior art, after receiving a stop notification of a live video stream in a live broadcast room sent by a CDN node, a live broadcast server controls an anchor client corresponding to the live broadcast room to display that the current number of watching users is 0. However, in practice, the cut-off of the live video stream may be only short, which does not mean that the main broadcast is closed, and the watching users may not watch any more, so this way of displaying the number of watching users as 0 based on the cut-off notification easily induces the main broadcast to get wrong cognition and make wrong decision, which is undoubtedly not beneficial to the smooth proceeding of the live broadcast. In order to avoid this situation, the embodiment of the present invention provides a new method for displaying the number of users watching in the live broadcast room, which is described in detail below with reference to the following embodiments.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a first embodiment of a method for displaying the number of people watched in a live broadcast room according to an embodiment of the present invention, where an execution subject of the method for displaying the number of people watched in the live broadcast room according to the embodiment may be a live broadcast server in a live broadcast network architecture shown in fig. 1, and as shown in fig. 2, the method includes the following steps:
and S201, responding to the cut-off notice of the live video of the live broadcast room, and decreasing the number of watching users in the live broadcast room.
When the network between the anchor client and the CDN node shakes to cause that the CDN node cannot receive live video streams, the CDN node sends a flow cutoff notice to a live broadcast server, and the live broadcast server responds to the flow cutoff notice to decrement the number of current watching users in the live broadcast room.
Alternatively, the decreasing policy for the number of viewing users may be: and gradually reducing the number of the watching users at preset time intervals and by decreasing the number of the watching users. For example, if the preset time interval is 5s and the number of the demoted users is 50, the number of the watching users in the live broadcast room is reduced by 50 every 5 s.
Optionally, the live broadcast rooms can be graded, and different numbers of watching users are reduced for live broadcast rooms with different grades in a preset time interval in a mode of combining the time interval, the number of decreasing people and the grade of the live broadcast room. Specifically, the live broadcast room is graded according to the number of watching users in the live broadcast room when the live broadcast is normal. For example, a live broadcast room with the number of viewing users >10000 is set as a level a live broadcast room, a live broadcast room with 5000< the number of viewing users <10000 is set as a level B live broadcast room, and a live broadcast room with the number of viewing users <1000 is set as a level C live broadcast room. For a level A live broadcast room, 1000 persons are reduced within a preset time interval of 5 s; for a B-level live broadcast room, reducing 500 persons within a preset time interval of 5 s; for a level C live room, 100 people are reduced within a preset time interval of 5 s.
And S202, sequentially sending the decreased number of the watching users to the anchor client corresponding to the live broadcast room, so that the anchor client sequentially updates and displays the decreased number of the watching users.
And on the basis of the number of the current watching users, executing the decrement of the number of the watching users at least once, and sequentially updating and displaying the number of the people after each decrement on the anchor client according to the sequence.
In a conventional live broadcast room display method, if a CDN node does not receive a live broadcast video stream uploaded by an anchor client, a live broadcast server receives and responds to a cut-off notification sent by the CDN node, and instantaneously reduces the number of users watching in a live broadcast room to 0, and the anchor may stop live broadcast because the number of users watching becomes 0, which affects the live broadcast experience of the anchor. Meanwhile, in this case, the possible live broadcasting time is short, and meaningful live broadcasting content cannot be transmitted in such a short live broadcasting time, that is, valuable content cannot be obtained for the watching user, so that the transmission of such meaningless video data causes a waste of network resources.
In this embodiment, when the live broadcast server receives the notification indicating that the live broadcast video of the anchor broadcast has a cut-off, the number of watching users in the live broadcast room of the anchor broadcast is gradually decreased, and the number of people decreased each time is sent to the client of the anchor broadcast, so as to update the number of watching users at the previous time.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart of a second embodiment of a method for displaying the number of people watching in a live broadcast room according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 3. On the basis of the embodiment of fig. 2, before executing step S201, the following steps may be further included:
s301, responding to the push stream notification of the live video, and determining the number of the watching users according to the number of times of accessing the live video.
The live broadcast method comprises the steps that a live broadcast client uploads a live broadcast video stream to a CDN node, the CDN node receives the live broadcast video stream and sends a stream pushing notification to a live broadcast server to indicate that the live broadcast is live, meanwhile, a live broadcast room which is live can be pushed to a first page of a live broadcast website, all watching clients which visit the live broadcast room can obtain the live broadcast video stream which is live to the CDN node, and the live broadcast server determines the number of watching users in the live broadcast room according to the obtaining times of the live broadcast video stream.
S302, the number of the watching users is sent to the anchor client side, so that the anchor client side displays the number of the watching users.
The live broadcast server sends the obtained number of the watching users to the anchor client and the watching client which is watching the live broadcast, and the anchor client and the watching client can display the number of the watching users in the live broadcast room in real time.
After obtaining the current number of watching users in the live broadcast room according to the above steps S301 and S302, if the live broadcast server receives a flow interruption notification sent by the CDN node, the following steps may be performed:
and S303, responding to the cut-off notification of the live video of the live broadcast room, and gradually decreasing the number of the watching users according to a preset time interval and a preset decreasing proportion in a preset time period.
And S304, sequentially sending the decreased number of the watching users to the anchor client corresponding to the live broadcast room, so that the anchor client sequentially updates and displays the decreased number of the watching users.
The execution process of the above two steps can refer to the related description in the embodiment shown in fig. 2, and is not described herein again.
However, for decreasing the number of viewing users in the live broadcast room in step S303, the embodiment further provides an optional implementation manner: and gradually decreasing the number of the watching users within a preset time period according to a preset time interval and a preset decreasing proportion. That is, the number of viewing users decreased each time may not be a preset number of users fixedly set but decreased at a preset ratio to the current number of viewing users.
Wherein, the setting of the above-mentioned preset time quantum has the practical meaning that: to avoid meaningless viewer count down processing by the live server. If there is no limit of the time period, the live broadcast server will continue to perform the decremental processing of the number of watching users successively after receiving the cut-off notification until the number of watching users is decremented to 0, and actually, if the cut-off has continued for a certain time period, it is likely that the main broadcast has been closed, and the cut-off is caused by the main broadcast being closed, at this time, the decremental processing of the number of watching users is ended after the number of watching users is decremented to 0, which is obviously meaningless. For this reason, the present embodiment sets the above-described preset time period, in which the number-of-viewing-users decreasing process is performed.
For the above decreasing process of the number of watching users, for example, if the current number of watching users is 1000, and the preset decreasing proportion is 10%, and the preset time interval is 10s, the number of watching users is decreased by 100 for the first time, and the number of watching users displayed on the anchor client is 900; after 10s, if the current time does not exceed the limit of the preset time period, the next decrement processing is carried out: and on the basis of the current number of the watching users 900, calculating and determining that the number of the watching users which should be decreased is 900 × 10% — 90, wherein the number of the watching users displayed by the anchor client is 810, and so on until the limit of the preset time period is met.
Optionally, referring to the embodiment shown in fig. 2, in the process of decreasing the number of people, the level of the live broadcast room can be combined, and a differentiated decreasing ratio can be adopted for different live broadcast rooms.
And S305, in response to receiving the replay flow notification of the live video within the preset time period, re-determining the number of watching users in the live room.
And S306, responding to the situation that the replay flow notification of the live video is not received when the preset time period is reached, and decrementing the number of the watching users in the live broadcast room to zero.
In the present embodiment, the number of viewing users is displayed in a descending manner in the preset time period according to the above description. However, if the live broadcast server receives the replay flow notification sent by the CDN node within the preset time period, the decremental processing of the number of watching users may be stopped even if the current time has not reached the limit of the preset time period. Optionally, at this time, the live broadcast server may determine the current number of viewing users to display at the anchor client based on the number of times of accessing the live broadcast video of the anchor live broadcast room within a certain time. Conversely, if a replay flow notification for the live video has not been received by the time the preset time period is reached, indicating that the anchor may have been closed at that time, the live server may decrement the number of viewing users in the live room to zero for display at the anchor client.
In this embodiment, when the live broadcast server receives the notification indicating that the live broadcast video of the anchor broadcast has a cut-off, the number of watching users in the live broadcast room of the anchor broadcast is reduced, and the number of people reduced each time is sent to the client of the anchor broadcast, so as to update the number of watching users at the previous time. Further, when the number of viewing users is gradually decremented, a limit time period for the decrementing process is set to avoid an excessive, meaningless decrementing process.
Fig. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of a first embodiment of a display device for watching people in a live broadcast room according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 4, the display device for watching people in a live broadcast room includes: the number of people decreasing module 11 and the number of people sending module 12.
And the number of people decrementing module 11 is used for responding to the cut-off notice of the live video of the live broadcast room and decrementing the number of the watching users of the live broadcast room.
And the number sending module 12 is configured to send the decreased number of the watching users to the anchor client corresponding to the live broadcast room in sequence, so that the anchor client updates and displays the decreased number of the watching users in sequence.
And on the basis of the number of the current watching users, the number of the watching users is decreased at least once, and the number of the people decreased each time is sequentially updated and displayed on the anchor client side according to the sequence.
