Description

Electronic device and control method thereof
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an electronic device and a control method thereof, and more particularly, to an electronic device used in wireless network authentication and a control method thereof.
Background
In the related art, when a wireless network is connected by using an electronic device such as a smartphone or a tablet computer, a user first needs to select an SSID (Service set identifier) of a wireless network to be accessed (e.g., WiFi network), and input a password corresponding to the SSID to issue an authentication request to an authentication server. After the authentication request is authenticated by the authentication server, the electronic device is allowed to access the wireless network and access a network such as the Internet.
In order to improve the convenience of use of the user, it is proposed that a picture such as a two-dimensional code is generated based on an SSID and a password of a wireless network, and when the user wants to access the wireless network, the two-dimensional code of the wireless network is analyzed by an electronic device, so that an authentication request can be automatically sent to an authentication server, and the user can successfully establish a connection with the wireless network. Because the two-dimensional code can be shared by printing, posting, forwarding pictures and other modes, the user can use and share the wireless network more conveniently.
However, for wireless networks that do not require authentication, such as a wireless network based on the web protocol (portal protocol), the user is still required to open an authentication page and manually input login information such as a user name and a password, and the use of the wireless network can be started after the user obtains authorization. Thus, each user needs to make manual input when accessing such a wireless network. When a user wants to share a wireless network with other users, the user can only share the wireless network by sharing the user name and the password owned by the user.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide an electronic device and a control method thereof, which can simplify an authentication procedure in wireless network authentication and improve a user experience.
According to an aspect of the present invention, an electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes: a communication module configured to communicate with an authentication server; a processing module configured to determine type information related to an authentication type based on information received from the authentication server, and generate a first authentication request according to the type information and account information, and control the communication module to transmit the first authentication request to the authentication server, wherein the processing module generates shared information including the type information and the account information, the shared information being used to generate a second authentication request for transmission to the authentication server in another electronic device different from the electronic device.
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a control method applied to an electronic device capable of communicating with an authentication server. The control method comprises the following steps: determining type information related to the authentication type based on the information received from the authentication server; generating a first authentication request according to the type information and account information, and transmitting the first authentication request to the authentication server; generating shared information including the type information and the account information, wherein the shared information is used for generating a second authentication request for sending to the authentication server in other electronic equipment different from the electronic equipment.
According to the electronic equipment and the control method thereof, the shared information can be generated in the electronic equipment on the premise of realizing the authentication request by connecting the network, accessing the webpage and inputting the login information in the authentication page in the electronic equipment, and the authentication request is realized by utilizing the shared information in other electronic equipment, so that the authentication step is simplified, and the use experience of a user is improved.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The following description with reference to the accompanying drawings is provided to assist in understanding the exemplary embodiments of the invention as defined by the claims and their equivalents. It includes various specific details to assist understanding, but they are to be construed as merely illustrative. Accordingly, those skilled in the art will recognize that various changes and modifications can be made to the embodiments described herein without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention. Also, in order to make the description clearer and simpler, a detailed description of functions and configurations well known in the art will be omitted.
First, the overall concept of the present invention will be generally described.
A wireless network based on a web protocol (portal protocol) will be described with reference to fig. 1. Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram illustrating an authentication page of a wireless network based on the web protocol (portal protocol).
In the access of the wireless network, a webpage protocol (portal protocol) provides a safe and flexible page authentication method of the wireless network for users. An electronic device connected to a wireless network is forced to be directed to an authentication page as shown in fig. 1, and a user inputs login information such as a user name and a password on the authentication page, and communicates with an authentication server to complete access to the wireless network. However, each user needs to manually input a user name and a password when accessing a wireless network based on a web protocol (portal protocol), and the operation of the user is cumbersome. Moreover, when a user who owns a user name and a password wants to share the wireless network with another user, the user name and the password can only be shared. Other users who know the user name and password by sharing can only access the wireless network by manually entering again on the authentication page.
In view of this, the inventors of the present invention think that after a user successfully accesses a wireless network based on a web protocol (portal protocol) by using an electronic device, information such as a user name and a password is cached in the electronic device, and an address link of an authentication page is also cached in the electronic device, and a picture such as a two-dimensional code is generated according to the cached information required for authentication, and the picture is shared to other users as sharing information. Other users analyze the pictures through the electronic equipment, and directly send authentication requests to the authentication server based on the acquired user names, passwords, address links of authentication pages and the like, so that the wireless network based on a webpage protocol (portal protocol) can be directly accessed.
Next, an electronic apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention is described with reference to fig. 2. FIG. 2 is a functional block diagram of an electronic device of an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the electronic device 1 includes a communication module 11 and a processing module 12.
The electronic device 1 may be various devices, such as a smartphone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, and the like, which are capable of accessing a wireless network.
The communication module 11 is capable of communicating with the authentication server 2. The communication module 11 is preferably a wireless communication module such as a WiFi module in view of convenience of use, but is not limited thereto and may be appropriately configured according to the actual situation. The communication module 11 receives type information for determining an authentication type of the authentication server from the authentication server. In addition, the communication module 11 may also communicate with other electronic devices, and transmit or receive corresponding information to or from the other electronic devices.
The processing module 12 is a device for controlling the modules of the electronic apparatus 1 to perform various operations, and executes various calculations and determinations. The processing module 12 can be implemented in electronic hardware, computer software, or a combination of both, and can implement the specified functions.
It is to be appreciated that fig. 2 only shows components relevant to an embodiment of the invention, while other components are omitted, but this is only illustrative and the electronic device 1 may comprise other components as required.
As optional components, the electronic device 1 may further comprise a storage module and an input module. The storage module is used for storing various temporary or non-temporary data and can also be used as a storage area for performing various operations. The input module is used for receiving input operation of the electronic equipment 1 by a user. The user can issue an operation instruction to the electronic apparatus 1 through the input module and input various texts. The input module may be, for example, a touch panel, a keyboard, a mouse, or the like. Furthermore, the electronic device 1 may further include a display module. The display module is used for displaying various information to a user. The display module may be, for example, a display screen or the like.
The processing module 12 determines type information related to the authentication type based on the information received from the authentication server. When the authentication server inputs the password corresponding to the SSID for authentication, the type information indicates that the authentication type is normal authentication. When the authentication server is an authentication server based on a web protocol (portal protocol), the type information indicates that the authentication type is web authentication (portal authentication).
Specific contents of the type information are not particularly limited, and in the case of web authentication (portal authentication), the type information may include information indicating network access authentication by a web protocol (portal protocol) and an address of an authentication page. In the case of normal authentication, the type information may be made to include information indicating normal authentication and an SSID of a wireless network.
In the case shown in fig. 1, the type information includes information indicating that the authentication type is web authentication (portal authentication), and information indicating that the address of the authentication page is "Http:// www.portal.com/authentication page".
And, the processing module 12 generates a first authentication request according to the type information and the account information, and controls the communication module 11 to transmit the first authentication request to the authentication server. The account information may be obtained by manual input by the user or may be stored in the electronic device 1 in advance. The account information may include login information, or may also include the manner in which the login information is obtained. For example, in the case of logging in through a mobile phone number and a short message verification code, the login information includes the mobile phone number and the short message verification code.
In the electronic device 1, login information is input to the authentication page and confirmed, and a first authentication request is transmitted to the authentication server.
The authentication server authenticates the login information after receiving the first authentication request from the electronic device 1. The specific mode of authentication is not particularly limited. For example, by comparing the login information stored in the user list, when the login information of the first authentication request matches one of the login information in the user list, it is determined that the electronic apparatus 1 is permitted to access the wireless network, and when the login information of the first authentication request does not match any of the login information in the user list, it is determined that the electronic apparatus 1 is prohibited from accessing the wireless network. From the viewpoint of enabling the other electronic device to successfully realize the wireless access, the shared information may be generated only when the first authentication request of the electronic device 1 is successfully authenticated in the authentication server.
Further, the processing module 12 generates sharing information including the type information and the account information. The shared information is used to generate a second authentication request for transmission to the authentication server in another electronic device different from the electronic device 1. The shared information is not particularly limited as long as the other electronic device can complete the authentication request to the authentication server using the shared information. The sharing information can be picture information such as bar codes and two-dimensional codes.
Preferably, the shared information may be set as a two-dimensional code. Since the two-dimensional code has a large amount of portable information, the two-dimensional code can contain other information, such as identification information for identifying the source of the two-dimensional code, error correction information for performing error correction, and the like, in addition to the type information and the account information, according to actual needs. In addition, in consideration of timeliness, the two-dimensional code as the shared information may further include information related to timeliness, and for example, the validity period of accessing the corresponding wireless network using the two-dimensional code may be limited to 24 hours from the generation time.
The electronic device 1 may send the sharing information of the picture to other electronic devices through the communication module 11, so as to share the wireless network with other users.
The processing module 12 generates sharing information of the picture according to the type information and the account information. The other electronic device can obtain information necessary for authentication by analyzing the shared information. More specifically, the type information and the account information can be obtained by parsing the shared information of the picture in the other electronic device.
In addition, the account information obtained by the other electronic device by sharing the information may be login information including a user name and a password, or may be information including an acquisition mode of the login information.
In the case shown in fig. 1, the other electronic device analyzes the shared information of the picture (for example, scans the two-dimensional code), and can obtain the following information: information indicating that the authentication type is web authentication (portal authentication), information indicating that the address of the authentication page is Http:// www.portal.com/authenticating page, information indicating that the user name is "gust 100", and information indicating the password "123456".
In the other electronic device, a second authentication request is generated from the address of the authentication page and the login information acquired based on the account information, and the second authentication request is transmitted to the authentication server. The second authentication request may be set to be the same as the first authentication request. Therefore, the other electronic equipment can directly generate a second authentication request which is the same as the first authentication request and send the second authentication request to the authentication server so as to complete the access to the wireless network. For example, the following processes may be performed in the background of other electronic devices to achieve automatic access to the wireless network: and accessing the address of the authentication page to obtain the authentication page, then adding login information and confirming to obtain a second authentication request, and sending the second authentication request to the authentication server.
And the authentication server authenticates the other electronic equipment after receiving the second authentication request from the other electronic equipment. The specific mode of authentication is not particularly limited. For example, by comparing the account information stored in the user list, when the account information in the second authentication request matches one of the account information in the user list, it is determined that the other electronic device is permitted to access the wireless network, and when the account information in the second authentication request does not match any of the account information in the user list, it is determined that the other electronic device is prohibited from accessing the wireless network. Next, a control method of an embodiment of the present invention is explained with reference to fig. 3. Fig. 3 is a flowchart of a control method of an electronic apparatus of an embodiment of the present invention. Among them, the control method shown in fig. 3 can be applied to the electronic apparatus 1. As shown in fig. 2, the electronic device 1 includes a communication module 11 and a processing module 12.
In step S1, type information related to the authentication type is determined based on the information received from the authentication server.
In step S2, a first authentication request is generated from the type information and the account information, and the first authentication request is transmitted to the authentication server.
In addition, from the viewpoint of enabling the other electronic device to successfully implement wireless access, the shared information may be generated only when the first authentication request of the electronic device 1 is successfully authenticated in the authentication server, so that the availability of the shared information may be ensured.
In step S3, sharing information including the genre information and the account information is generated. The shared information is used to generate a second authentication request in another electronic device different from the electronic device for transmission to the authentication server. The shared information is not particularly limited as long as the other electronic device can complete the authentication request to the authentication server using the shared information. The sharing information can be picture information such as bar codes and two-dimensional codes.
Since the two-dimensional code has a large amount of portable information, the two-dimensional code can contain other information, such as identification information for identifying the source of the two-dimensional code, error correction information for performing error correction, and the like, in addition to the type information and the account information, according to actual needs. Preferably, the shared information may be set as a two-dimensional code.
The sharing information of the picture can be sent to other electronic equipment so as to share the wireless network with other users.
And generating sharing information of the picture according to the type information and the account information.
It should be noted that the description is mainly based on the case of web authentication (portal authentication), and it is obvious that the application covers the case of general authentication.
Next, a specific example of generating and using shared information in the embodiment of the present invention will be described from the viewpoint of actual use by a user. It should be noted that the specific details are provided to facilitate understanding of the inventive concept and should not be construed as limiting the invention.
The following usage scenario is assumed: both the user a holding the electronic device 1 and the user B holding the other electronic devices are in the mall of wireless network coverage based on the web protocol (portal protocol). User a has possessed the username and password of the wireless network within the mall since it was registered in advance.
When user a attempts to access the wireless network of the mall through electronic device 1, as shown in fig. 1, electronic device 1 initiates an access request (i.e., a first authentication request to the authentication server) to the wireless network of the mall by forcing redirection to an authentication page (Http:// www.portal.com/authentication page), entering a user name "gust 100" and a password "123456" and confirming on the authentication page.
At this time, the electronic device 1 grasps information necessary for accessing the mall wireless network. The electronic device 1 generates sharing information of the two-dimensional code according to the information. And the user A shares the sharing information of the two-dimensional code to the user B. Regarding the way of sharing the two-dimensional code, the user a may display the two-dimensional code by using the electronic device 1, and the user B may directly scan the two-dimensional code by using another electronic device for analysis. The two-dimensional code can also be sent to other electronic devices of the user B as picture information, and the other electronic devices analyze the two-dimensional code after receiving the two-dimensional code.
And the other electronic equipment of the user B directly initiates an access request to the wireless network of the shopping mall by analyzing the two-dimensional code. For example, after the other electronic device parses the two-dimensional code, the following processing may be executed in a background program of the other electronic device to implement automatic access to the wireless network: and accessing the address of the authentication page to obtain the authentication page, then adding login information and confirming to obtain a second authentication request, and sending the second authentication request to the authentication server.
Therefore, the authentication request is realized by utilizing the shared information in other electronic equipment, so that the authentication step is simplified, and the use experience of the user is improved.
It should be noted that, in the present invention, the electronic device is described as the one that generates the shared information, and the other electronic devices are described as the one that utilizes the shared information. Of course, the sharing party and the user may be both configured as devices identical in structure and function to the electronic device 1, that is, the shared information may be shared among a plurality of different electronic devices 1.
