Applications (APPs) are software installed on electronic devices, and with the development of technologies, the functions of the electronic devices are more and more powerful, for example, smart phones, tablet computers, and the like. APPs can provide a wide variety of services and entertainment activities to users. But the APP is usually updated with a new version after a while or the user is reinstalled with many required APPs after replacing the new electronic device. Firstly, the electronic equipment downloads an APP installation package from a network server; then, some functions of the APP need user authorization and some protocols also need user consent to be installed due to safety monitoring and some functions, therefore, the electronic equipment prompts whether the user agrees with the relevant protocols and authorization or not, the APP is installed, and after the user chooses to agree with the installation, the electronic equipment runs the installation package of the APP to install the APP. In an embodiment, the preset area is a Widget on the current display interface, as shown in fig. 11, the electronic device 90 further includes a creating module 905;
a creating module 905, configured to create a Widget on the current display interface, where the Widget is used as a preset area.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 12, the display module 902 includes a first icon sub-module 9021, a first open sub-module 9022, and a first content sub-module 9023;
the first icon sub-module 9021 is configured to display an icon of a prompt message of the target application on the Widget;
the first opening sub-module 9022 is configured to, when a first opening instruction input by a user is received, enlarge and display the Widget, where the first opening instruction is used to instruct to enlarge and display the Widget;

In one embodiment, the preset area is a notification bar, as shown in fig. 13, the display module 902 includes a second icon sub-module 9024, a second open sub-module 9025, and a second content sub-module 9026;
a second icon sub-module 9024, configured to display an icon of a prompt message of the target application in the notification bar;
the second opening sub-module 9025 is configured to pull down and open the notification bar when a second opening instruction input by the user is received, where the second opening instruction is used to instruct to pull down and open the notification bar;
and a second content sub-module 9026, configured to display the content of the prompt message of the target application in the notification bar opened by the pull-down.
According to the electronic equipment provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the prompt message of the target application is displayed in the preset area, and the preset area only occupies a part of the display screen, so that the normal use of the electronic equipment by a user is not influenced, and the user experience is improved.
Fig. 14 is a block diagram illustrating an electronic device according to an exemplary embodiment, which may be implemented by software, hardware or a combination of the two as part or all of an electronic device for performing the method for displaying a prompt message described in the embodiments corresponding to fig. 1-8. As shown in fig. 14, the electronic device 140 includes:
a processor 1401;
a memory 1402 for storing instructions executable by the processor 1401;
wherein the processor 1401 is configured to:
after the target application is downloaded, generating a prompt message of the target application, wherein the prompt message of the target application is used for prompting a user whether to select to install the target application;
and displaying a prompt message of the target application in a preset area, wherein the preset area occupies a part of the display screen and is in a preset position of the desktop, and the user is not influenced to continue browsing the current display interface.
In one embodiment, the processor 1401 may be further configured to:
receiving an installation instruction input by a user, wherein the installation instruction is used for indicating the installation of a target application;
and installing the target application in the background according to the installation instruction.
In an embodiment, the preset area is a Widget currently displayed on the display interface, and the processor 1401 may be further configured to:
and creating a Widget on the current display interface, and taking the Widget as a preset area.
In one embodiment, the processor 1401 may be further configured to:
displaying an icon of a prompt message of the target application on the Widget;
when a first opening instruction input by a user is received, magnifying and displaying the Widget, wherein the first opening instruction is used for indicating the magnified display of the Widget;
and displaying the content of the prompt message of the target application in the enlarged Widget.
In one embodiment, the preset region is a notification bar, and the processor 1401 may be further configured to:
displaying an icon of a prompt message of the target application in a notification bar;
when a second opening instruction input by the user is received, the notification bar is pulled down to be opened, and the second opening instruction is used for indicating that the notification bar is pulled down to be opened;
and displaying the content of the prompt message of the target application in the notification bar opened by the pull-down.
According to the electronic equipment provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the prompt message of the target application is displayed in the preset area, and the preset area only occupies a part of the display screen, so that the normal use of the electronic equipment by a user is not influenced, and the user experience is improved.
The electronic device provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure may be a terminal device as shown in fig. 15, fig. 15 is a block diagram of a terminal device shown according to an exemplary embodiment, the terminal device 150 may be a smart phone, a tablet computer, and the like, and the terminal device 150 is configured to execute the method for displaying the prompt message described in the embodiments corresponding to fig. 1 to fig. 8.
Terminal device 150 may include one or more of the following components: processing component 1501, memory 1502, power component 1503, multimedia component 1504, audio component 1505, input/output (I/O) interface 1506, sensor component 1507, and communication component 1508.
The processing component 1501 generally controls the overall operation of the terminal device 150, such as operations associated with display, telephone calls, data communications, camera operations, and recording operations. The processing components 1501 may include one or more processors 15011 to execute instructions to perform all or part of the steps of the methods described above. Further, the processing component 1501 can include one or more modules that facilitate interaction between the processing component 1501 and other components. For example, the processing component 1501 may include a multimedia module to facilitate interaction between the multimedia component 1504 and the processing component 1501.
The memory 1502 is configured to store various types of data to support operations at the terminal device 150. Examples of such data include instructions for any application or method operating on terminal device 150, contact data, phonebook data, messages, pictures, videos, and so forth. The Memory 1502 may be implemented by any type of volatile or non-volatile Memory device or combination thereof, such as Static Random Access Memory (SRAM), Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM), Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EPROM), Programmable Read Only Memory (PROM), Read Only Memory (ROM), magnetic Memory, flash Memory, magnetic disk or optical disk.
The power component 1503 provides power to the various components of the terminal device 150. The power component 1503 may include a power management system, one or more power sources, and other components associated with generating, managing, and distributing power for the terminal device 150.
The multimedia component 1504 includes a screen between the terminal device 150 and the user that provides an output interface. In some embodiments, the screen may include a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and a Touch Panel (TP). If the screen includes a touch panel, the screen may be implemented as a touch screen to receive an input signal from a user. The touch panel includes one or more touch sensors to sense touch, slide, and gestures on the touch panel. The touch sensor may not only sense the boundary of a touch or slide action, but also detect the duration and pressure associated with the touch or slide operation. In some embodiments, the multimedia component 1504 includes a front camera and/or a rear camera. The front camera and/or the rear camera may receive external multimedia data when the terminal device 150 is in an operation mode, such as a photographing mode or a video mode. Each front camera and rear camera may be a fixed optical lens system or have a focal length and optical zoom capability.
Audio component 1505 is configured to output and/or input audio signals. For example, audio component 1505 includes a Microphone (MIC) configured to receive external audio signals when terminal device 150 is in an operational mode, such as a call mode, a recording mode, and a voice recognition mode. The received audio signals may further be stored in memory 1502 or transmitted via communications component 1508. In some embodiments, audio component 1505 also includes a speaker for outputting audio signals.
I/O interface 1506 provides an interface between processing component 1501 and peripheral interface modules, such as keyboards, click wheels, buttons, etc. These buttons may include, but are not limited to: a home button, a volume button, a start button, and a lock button.
The sensor assembly 1507 includes one or more sensors for providing various aspects of status assessment for the terminal device 150. For example, sensor assembly 1507 may detect the open/closed state of terminal device 150, the relative positioning of components, such as a display and keypad of terminal device 150, sensor assembly 1507 may also detect a change in the position of terminal device 150 or a component of terminal device 150, the presence or absence of user contact with terminal device 150, orientation or acceleration/deceleration of terminal device 150, and a change in the temperature of terminal device 150. The sensor assembly 1507 may include a proximity sensor configured to detect the presence of nearby objects without any physical contact. The sensor assembly 1507 may also include a photosensor, such as a Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) or Charge Coupled Device (CCD) image sensor, for use in imaging applications. In some embodiments, the sensor assembly 1507 may also include an acceleration sensor, a gyroscope sensor, a magnetic sensor, a pressure sensor, or a temperature sensor.
Communication component 1508 is configured to facilitate communication between terminal device 150 and other devices in a wired or wireless manner. Terminal device 150 may access a Wireless network based on a communication standard, such as Wireless-Fidelity (WiFi), 2G or 3G, or a combination thereof. In an exemplary embodiment, the communication component 1508 receives a broadcast signal or broadcast associated information from an external broadcast management system via a broadcast channel. In an exemplary embodiment, the Communication component 1508 further includes a Near Field Communication (NFC) module to facilitate short-range communications. For example, the NFC module may be implemented based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, Infrared Data Association (IrDA) technology, Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology, Bluetooth (BT) technology, and other technologies.
In an exemplary embodiment, the terminal Device 150 may be implemented by one or more Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs), Digital Signal Processors (DSPs), Digital Signal Processing Devices (DSPDs), Programmable Logic Devices (PLDs), Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), controllers, microcontrollers, microprocessors, or other electronic components for performing the method of displaying the alert message described in the embodiments corresponding to fig. 1-8.
In an exemplary embodiment, a non-transitory computer readable storage medium is also provided, such as the memory 1502 including instructions executable by the processing component 1501 of the terminal device 150 to perform the above-described method. For example, the non-transitory computer readable storage medium may be a ROM, a Random Access Memory (RAM), a CD-ROM, a magnetic tape, a floppy disk, an optical data storage device, and the like. When executed by the processing component 1501 of the terminal device 150, the instructions in the storage medium enable the terminal device 150 to perform the method for displaying a prompt message described in the embodiments corresponding to fig. 1-8 above, the method including:
after the target application is downloaded, generating a prompt message of the target application, wherein the prompt message of the target application is used for prompting a user whether to select to install the target application;
and displaying a prompt message of the target application in a preset area, wherein the preset area occupies a part of the display screen and is in a preset position of the desktop, and the user is not influenced to continue browsing the current display interface.
In one embodiment, the method further comprises:
receiving an installation instruction input by a user, wherein the installation instruction is used for indicating the installation of a target application;
and installing the target application in the background according to the installation instruction.
In one embodiment, the preset area is a Widget on the current display interface, and the method further includes:
and creating a Widget on the current display interface, and taking the Widget as a preset area.
In one embodiment, displaying the prompt message of the target application in the preset area comprises:
displaying an icon of a prompt message of the target application on the Widget;
when a first opening instruction input by a user is received, magnifying and displaying the Widget, wherein the first opening instruction is used for indicating the magnified display of the Widget;
and displaying the content of the prompt message of the target application in the enlarged Widget.
In one embodiment, the preset area is a notification bar, and the displaying of the prompt message of the target application in the preset area includes:
displaying an icon of a prompt message of the target application in a notification bar;
when a second opening instruction input by the user is received, the notification bar is pulled down to be opened, and the second opening instruction is used for indicating that the notification bar is pulled down to be opened;
and displaying the content of the prompt message of the target application in the notification bar opened by the pull-down.
According to the electronic equipment provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the prompt message of the target application is displayed in the preset area, and the preset area only occupies a part of the display screen, so that the normal use of the electronic equipment by a user is not influenced, and the user experience is improved.

Claims (4)

1. A method for displaying a prompt message, the method comprising:
after downloading of the target application is completed, generating a prompt message of the target application, wherein the prompt message of the target application is used for prompting a user whether to select to install the target application;
displaying a prompt message of the target application in a preset area, wherein the preset area occupies a part of a display screen and is in a preset position of a desktop, and does not influence a user to continuously browse a current display interface;
the preset area is a Widget on the current display interface, and the method further comprises: creating a Widget on the current display interface, and taking the Widget as the preset area;
the displaying the prompt message of the target application in the preset area comprises: displaying icons of a plurality of applications to be installed and group icons corresponding to the icons of the applications to be installed on the Widget; each application to be installed comprises the target application;
the method further comprises the following steps: and when receiving a touch operation of a user for the group of icons, respectively executing instructions corresponding to the touch operation on the applications to be installed.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein displaying the prompt message of the target application in a preset area comprises:
displaying an icon of the prompt message of the target application on the Widget;
when a first opening instruction input by a user is received, magnifying and displaying the Widget, wherein the first opening instruction is used for indicating that the Widget is magnified and displayed;
and displaying the content of the prompt message of the target application in the enlarged Widget.
3. An electronic device, characterized in that the electronic device comprises: the device comprises a prompt module and a display module;
the prompt module is used for generating a prompt message of the target application after the target application is downloaded, and the prompt message of the target application is used for prompting a user whether to select to install the target application;
the display module is used for displaying the prompt message of the target application in a preset area, wherein the preset area occupies a part of a display screen and is positioned at a preset position of a desktop, and the user is not influenced to continue browsing the current display interface;
the preset area is a Widget on the current display interface, and the electronic device further comprises a creation module; the creating module is configured to create a Widget on the current display interface, and use the Widget as the preset area;
the display module displays icons of a plurality of applications to be installed and group icons corresponding to the icons of the applications to be installed on the Widget; each application to be installed comprises the target application;
the electronic device further includes: a receiving module and an installation module;
the receiving module is used for receiving touch operation of a user for the group of icons;
and the installation module is used for respectively executing the instruction corresponding to the touch operation on each application to be installed.
4. The device of claim 3, wherein the display module includes a first icon sub-module, a first open sub-module, and a first content sub-module;
the first icon submodule is used for displaying an icon of the prompt message of the target application on the Widget;
the first opening sub-module is used for displaying the Widget in an enlarged manner when receiving a first opening instruction input by a user, wherein the first opening instruction is used for indicating the Widget to be displayed in an enlarged manner;
and the first content submodule is used for displaying the content of the prompt message of the target application in the amplified Widget.
