Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of intelligent terminal application, in particular to a method and a system for setting a short message coding range based on a country code and a mobile terminal.
Background
As 3GPP evolved, SMS coding was also evolving to accommodate the character set of some countries, as the mechanisms for SMS content coding were more updated in protocols 3GPP TS 23.038 and 3GPP TS 23.040, release Rel-13 by 2015. Wherein, GSM 7bit Default alpha beta, GSM7 Default coding table for short, GSM 7bit Default alpha beta extension table, GSM7 extension coding table for short, mentioned in 3GPP protocol; the table set National Language Locking Shift Tables corresponding to the Locking Shift mechanism is abbreviated as GSM7 default coding substitution table set, and the table set National Language Shift Tables corresponding to the Single Shift mechanism is abbreviated as GSM7 extended coding substitution table set. The GSM7 default coding table and the GSM7 default coding alternative table set together form a set, which is called a basic table set, and the GSM7 extended coding table and the GSM7 extended coding alternative table set together form a set, which is called an extended table set.
When the short message is coded, a table in the basic table set is selected, and a table in the extended table set is selected. The GSM7 default code table and GSM7 extended code table will typically be preferred. If the characters input by the user exceed the ranges of the default code table of GSM7 and the extended code table of GSM7, the optimal combination needs to be obtained from the default code substitution table set of GSM7 and the extended code substitution table set of GSM7 preset on the mobile terminal (such as a mobile phone) to ensure that the processing of the protocol data length occupies as little network resources as possible during data transmission.
In the prior art, the support set of the GSM7 default code substitution table and the GSM7 extended code substitution table is customized by the mobile phone manufacturer. When a manufacturer sells a mobile terminal (such as a mobile phone) to a client, the default code alternative table of GSM7 and the extended code alternative table of GSM7 which can be selected by a user are preset. However, the problem that when the user optimally combines the basic table set and the extended table set in the input process (especially, the input content is relatively long) is still unsolved, the interface formed by excessive code iteration times is stuck; and the mobile terminal (such as a mobile phone) sold to some countries, because the GSM7 default code replacement table and the GSM7 extended code replacement table recommended and supported by the countries are different, software modification needs to be carried out on the support of the GSM7 default code replacement table and the GSM7 extended code replacement table every time the mobile terminal is sold to a certain country, the risk that a mobile phone manufacturer upgrades the mobile phone again is increased, and meanwhile, the error probability of the manufacturer in the software modification process is increased.
Accordingly, the prior art is yet to be improved and developed.

Detailed Description
The invention provides a method, a system and a mobile terminal for setting a short message coding range based on a country code, and the invention is further explained in detail below in order to make the purpose, the technical scheme and the effect of the invention clearer and clearer. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention.
The GSM 7bit Default Alphabet in the 3GPP protocol contains 127 characters, and 1 escape. Wherein, 0x1B is used to introduce the character in the GSM 7bit default alphabeta extension table, i.e. if 0x1B appears in the message content, the character is equivalent to the latter character after escape, and the latter character determines what character is according to the definition in the GSM 7bit default alphabeta extension table. Generally, when a user inputs an english short message into a mobile terminal (e.g., a mobile phone), the system uses this encoding method, so that a content of a short message may contain 160 english characters at most.
In the development process of the technology, 3GPP 23.038 has expanded Single shift mechanism and Locking shift mechanism. Single shift mechanism is a mechanism for replacing "GSM 7bit default alpha beta extension table", that is, 0x1B appears in the message content, and the following characters are not resolved according to "GSM 7bit default alpha beta extension table", but according to the table indicated by the header part in User Data. The table set corresponding to the Single Shift mechanism is "national language Single Shift Tables", which is abbreviated as GSM7 extended code substitution table set herein.
The Locking shift mechanism is a mechanism for replacing the 'GSM 7bit Default alpha beta', namely, the 7bit characters in the message content do not use the 'GSM 7bit Default alpha beta', but are resolved according to a table indicated by a header part in the UserData. The table set corresponding to the Locking Shift mechanism is "National Language Locking Shift Tables", which is abbreviated as GSM7 default code substitution table set herein.
For example, in turkey, assuming that more characters input by the user appear in the "Turkish National Language Locking Shift Table" rather than the "GSM 7bit Default alpha Table", the "Turkish National Language Locking Shift Table" may be used to replace the "GSM 7bit Default alpha Table" to reduce the occupation of more channel resources by the characters input by the user during transmission. Because if not replaced, it must be converted to UCS2 encoding, UCS2 encoding a character takes 2 bytes, while "GSM 7bit Default alpha beta" and "Turkish National Language Locking Shift Table" a character takes only 7 bits.
The mainstream language used in a country is determined, so that the set of codes that the mobile terminal needs to support can be confirmed through the national mainstream language.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for setting a short message coding range based on a country code according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, it comprises the following steps:
step S100, when detecting that the mobile terminal is inserted into a USIM card, reading IMSI from the USIM card, and extracting MCC from the IMSI; wherein, the IMSI is an abbreviation of international mobile subscriber identity (international mobile subscriber identity); the MCC is an abbreviation of Mobile Country Code.
Step S200, importing the combination of the pre-stored GSM7 default code substitution table and the GSM7 extended code substitution table corresponding to the MCC into the mobile terminal system.
Further, the combination of the GSM7 default code alternative table and the GSM7 extended code alternative table is at least 13. Until now, there are 12 kinds of tables that can replace the "GSM 7bit Default alpha beta" table and 13 kinds of tables that can replace the "GSM 7bit Default alpha beta extension table", so there are at least 13 combinations of the GSM7 Default code replacement table and the GSM7 extension code replacement table. As shown in table 1, the basic table corresponds to the extended table one to one. When the mobile terminal is powered on and a USIM card is inserted, the GSM7 default code replacement table and the GSM7 extended code replacement table which are required to be supported by the mobile terminal can be determined according to the MCC on the inserted USIM card.

In the prior art, a scheme preset by a mobile terminal manufacturer is adopted by default, but before the mobile terminal is released to a certain country, the manufacturer needs to set a GSM7 default code replacement table and a GSM7 extended code replacement table required to be supported by the country according to the GSM7 default code replacement table and the GSM7 extended code replacement table recommended and supported by the country. For example, if a certain batch of the mobile terminal is delivered to Turkish, support of Turkish National Language locking Shift Table and Turkish National Language Single Shift Table is required to be specified in the mobile phone; if the product is to be shipped to Spanish, Spanish National Language Single Shift Table needs to be specified as support in the mobile phone. This code set that is specified to support is factory preset by the manufacturer. However, in the prior art, if the manufacturer ships to a country and finds that the country has not reached the expected shipment volume and needs to re-transmit the mobile phones to another country, software modification is required for the support of the GSM7 default code substitution table and the GSM7 extended code substitution table. The technical scheme of the invention ensures that the GSM7 default code replacement table and the GSM7 extension code replacement table are not required to be supported and preset aiming at a specific country when the mobile phone leaves a factory, but the GSM7 default code replacement table and the GSM7 extension code replacement table are combined and prestored in a mobile terminal system, so that the local GSM7 default code replacement table and the GSM7 extension code replacement table can be supported, and the error probability in the technical, human input and software modification processes and the risk of upgrading the mobile phone again by a mobile phone manufacturer are reduced.
Further, the method for setting the short message coding range based on the country code further comprises the following steps: and when the user edits and sends the short message, acquiring the combination of the GSM7 default code substitution table and the GSM7 extended code substitution table for coding. Specifically, when all characters of the short message content edited by the user are contained in the GSM7 default code substitution table, the GSM7 default code substitution table is directly used for coding; and when the short message content edited by the user has characters which are not contained in the GSM7 default code substitution table, the GSM7 extended code substitution table is used for substituting the GSM7 default code substitution table for coding.
Further, as shown in fig. 2, the step S200 of setting a combination of the default GSM7 replacement table and the extended GSM7 replacement table to the mobile terminal system specifically includes:
step S201, comparing the MCC with a prestored MCC supporting a GSM7 default code substitution table and a GSM7 extension code substitution table, and finding out a combination of the GSM7 default code substitution table and the GSM7 extension code substitution table corresponding to the MCC;
step S202, the searched GSM7 default code replacement table and GSM7 extended code replacement table are combined, imported and set into the mobile terminal system.
In order to make the context of the present invention clearer, the following is exemplified.
After the USIM card is started, the USIM card is inserted, when the USIM card is detected, the IMSI is read, the MCC is extracted from the IMSI, and the MCC is compared with the country codes of a pre-stored and supported GSM7 default code substitution table and a GSM7 extended code substitution table;
for example, taking turkish and brazil as an example, we preset the following data in the mobile phone:
<mcc=’286’,single_shift_tables=”1”,locking_shift_tables=”1”>
<mcc=’724’,single_shift_tables=”3”,locking_shift_tables=”3”>
where mcc = '286' denotes turkish, mcc = '724 denotes' brazil, single _ shift _ tables denotes supported GSM7 extended code alternative table, and locking _ shift _ tables denotes supported GSM7 default code alternative table. The meaning of the numbers following single _ shift _ tables and locking _ shift _ tables is as follows (3GPP 23.038 has a corresponding relationship, and the number of the numbers should be increased continuously according to the update of the subsequent release of 3GPP 23.038): 0-reserved
1 - Turkish
2 - Spanish (single shift table only)
3 - Portuguese
4 - Bengali
5 - Gujarati
6 - Hindi
7 - Kannada
8 - Malayalam
9 - Oriya
10 - Punjabi
11 - Tamil
12 - Telugu
13 - Urdu
Then, the GSM7 default code alternative table and the GSM7 extended code alternative table which are the same as the country code are found.
If mcc = '286', it is denoted as Turkish, and here single _ Shift _ tables = "1" and Locking _ Shift _ tables = "1", it is denoted as supporting both the Turkish National Language Shift Table and the Turkish National Language Locking Shift Table.
Finally, the searched GSM7 default code replacement table and GSM7 extended code replacement table are combined and set in the system.
If the support of the Turkish National Language single Shift Table and the Turkish National Language Locking Shift Table is set in the system, when the user edits and sends the short message, the two tables can be used for coding.
For how to replace the two tables, there is an example of a usage scenario, such as a mobile terminal (e.g. a mobile phone) sold to turkish, when the short message content edited by the user is: when abcdefgh is used, the characters are contained in GSM 7bit Default Alphabet, and the table is directly used; however, when the short message content edited by the user is: abcdefghAt this time, Á are not included in the GSM 7bit Default alpha beta, and at this time, if the mobile terminal (such as a mobile phone) supports Turkish NThe spatial Language Locking Shift Table, and support the use of the Table, is due to abcdefghÁ all the characters are in the Table, then the system will automatically replace the GSM 7bit Default alpha beta Table by the Turkish National Language Locking Shift Table to ensure the protocol data length used by the input characters, thereby occupying the network resource as little as possible when sending data. If the mobile terminal (such as a mobile phone) does not support the Turkish National Language Locking Shift Table, UCS2 must be used to encode the character string abcdefghÁ, and each character in UCS2 occupies 2 bytes, which greatly increases the occupied network resources.
Therefore, the invention effectively avoids the interface pause formed by excessive code iteration times when the user optimally combines the basic table set and the extended table set in the input process in the prior art by arranging the pre-stored GSM7 default code replacement table and the GSM7 extended code replacement table corresponding to the MCC in the mobile terminal system, and simultaneously avoids the upgrading risk and the error probability in the software modification process caused by different countries supporting different GSM7 default code replacement tables and GSM7 extended code replacement tables.
Based on the above method, the present invention further provides a system for setting a short message coding range based on a country code, as shown in fig. 3, which includes:
the detection and extraction module 100 is configured to, when it is detected that the USIM card is inserted into the mobile terminal, read the IMSI from the USIM card, and extract the MCC from the IMSI; as described above.
