Detailed Description
The invention will be described in detail hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings in conjunction with embodiments. It should be noted that the embodiments and features of the embodiments in the present application may be combined with each other without conflict.
It should be noted that the terms "first," "second," and the like in the description and claims of the present invention and in the drawings described above are used for distinguishing between similar elements and not necessarily for describing a particular sequential or chronological order.
In this embodiment, a conference backup method is provided, and fig. 1 is a flowchart of a conference backup method according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, the flowchart includes the following steps:
step S102, the conference node detects a first module with abnormal work in modules on the conference node, wherein the modules comprise at least one of the following modules: the system comprises a conference service module, a call service module and a media service module;
step S104, the conference node uses a second module to replace the first module so as to support the conference held on the conference node, wherein the second module comprises: modules on conference nodes other than the conference node.
Through the steps, modules on other conference nodes are adopted to replace modules with abnormal work on the conference node, so that the conference held on the conference node is supported, and mutual backup of conference resources among the conference nodes is realized. Compared with the prior art, the backup of the whole conference node is not performed any more, so that the available resources on the conference node are continuously used, and the conference resources with faults are replaced by the conference resources on other conference nodes, thereby solving the problem of conference resource waste and reducing the conference resource waste.
Optionally, the conference nodes are nodes of a cloud conference, or cascaded conference nodes, and the conference nodes are managed by an upper management node, or the conference nodes may share conference resources between the conference nodes through some technologies (e.g., shared space, corresponding communication protocol of resource advertisement).
It should be noted that the conference resources that can be backed up at the conference node include, but are not limited to, at least one of the following: a conference service module, a call service module and a media service module.
In addition, generally speaking, when the first module fails, the conference node preferentially searches the conference resource that can replace the first module on its own conference node, and when the idle conference resource of the conference node cannot satisfy the conference resource required by the first module, the conference resource that cannot be satisfied is provided by the second module. I.e. the conference node uses the second module part instead of the first module. Of course, it is also possible for the conference node to use the second module instead of the first module entirely, in which case the free conference resources on the conference node can still be used as a backup for other conference nodes.
Optionally, taking the conference resource of the conference node uniformly managed by the management node as an example, the conference node may actively or passively report the conference resource status on its own conference node to the management node, including the idle conference resource and the used conference resource. Thus, in step S104, the conference node may report the information of the first module with abnormal operation to the management node; the management node inquires available conference resources on other conference nodes according to the reported information of the first module; and after the conference node receives the information of the second module sent by the management node, the second module is used for replacing the first module so as to support the conference held on the conference node.
Optionally, in a case that the first module is a conference service module, in step S104, the conference node acquires a call service identifier of the call service module and a media service identifier of the media service module on the current conference node; the conference node assigns the call service identification and the media service identification to a second module; and respectively establishing links between the second module and the call service module and the media service module by using the call service identifier and the media service identifier so as to support the conference held on the current conference node.
Optionally, in a case that the first module is a media service module, in step S104, the conference node obtains a call service identifier of the call service module and a conference identifier of the conference service module on the conference node; the conference node assigns a call service identification and a conference identification to the second module; and the conference node uses the calling service identifier and the conference identifier to respectively establish links among the second module, the calling service module and the conference service module so as to support the conference held on the conference node.
Optionally, in a case that the first module is a call service module, in step S104, the conference node acquires a conference identifier of the conference service module and a media service identifier of the media service module on the conference node; the conference node uses the conference mark to call the user terminal in the conference held by the conference node; the conference node uses the media service identifier to respectively establish the link between the second module and the call service module and the link between the second module and the media service module so as to support the conference held on the conference node.
Optionally, for example, conference resources of the conference nodes are uniformly managed by the management node, after the conference nodes report information of the first module with abnormal work to the management node, the management node selects a second module from the conference nodes with the most idle media services in other conference nodes until the selected second module is enough to replace the media service of the first module.

Optionally, the specific examples in this embodiment may refer to the examples described in the above embodiments and optional implementation manners, and this embodiment is not described herein again.
In order that the description of the embodiments of the invention will be more apparent, reference is now made to the preferred embodiments for illustration.
The preferred embodiment of the invention provides a backup system and a backup method for a cloud conference, which are used for realizing quick and flexible backup when different service modules are abnormal on the basis of not increasing the cost of extra hardware, and reasonably utilizing resources of non-abnormal modules, thereby ensuring the continuity and reliability of holding a video conference and utilizing system resources to the maximum extent.
The scheme provided by the preferred embodiment of the invention comprises the following steps:
the system comprises management nodes and conference nodes, wherein the management nodes and the conference nodes are all deployed on virtual machines in a cloud computing environment. Wherein, conference node includes:
the conference service module is a control center of the whole conference and is responsible for the establishment and control of the conference, the switching control of video and audio, and the like;
the call service module is responsible for calling of each conference television terminal and interaction with other signaling of the terminal;
the media service module is responsible for receiving and transmitting media, encoding and decoding, multi-picture synthesis, sound mixing and the like;
the cloud conference adopts distributed deployment, and a Remote Procedure Call Protocol (RPC) or other communication protocols can be adopted for communication between the management node and the conference node and among modules in the conference node.
When a conference is held on the management node, the management node calls resources provided by each service module in each conference node to jointly support one or more conferences. The organization management mode provides a good foundation for backup when any service module in a single conference node fails.
When a single module in the conference node is abnormal, the whole backup is not triggered, and only the abnormal module is independently subjected to cross-conference node backup, including the independent backup of the conference service module, the call service module and the media service module. When a certain service module on the conference node is abnormal, the conference node reports to the management node, and the management node receives the abnormal report and then redistributes the service on other conference nodes to realize the conference connection.
After the single module is backed up, other modules can be normally used for supporting the conference. When a certain service module in a conference node fails, the management node receives the abnormal report, records the current node state, and performs backup processing, and the rest service modules on the node can still be normally used by the current conference, or the managed node calls to support other conferences.
In the related technology, a conference cannot allocate resources across conference nodes, if a main module and a backup module in the conference node are abnormal at the same time and other important modules supporting the conference are abnormal, backup of the whole conference node is triggered because the modules cannot be backed up across the conference nodes, and other service modules which normally run in the conference node cannot be effectively utilized after the backup occurs. The preferred embodiment of the invention only carries out independent backup on the abnormal module when part of the modules in the conference node are abnormal, realizes cross-conference node backup, keeps the current use situation of the normal service module in the original conference node or is called again to support other conferences, and ensures that the resources of the system are fully and reasonably utilized.
The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described and illustrated in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of a cloud conference system according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 4, the cloud conference system according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention includes: a management node and n conference nodes. Wherein each conference node comprises: the system comprises a conference service module, a call service module and a media service module; each corresponding service module generates n conference services, n call services and n media services, and each specific service is assigned a globally unique Identification (ID) when actually used.
RPC message communication is adopted between the management node and each conference node and each module. The management node calls modules of different conference nodes when a conference is held, each module provides necessary conference service, call service and media service for the conference, the management node uniformly manages the quantity and connection relation of each service resource required by supporting a certain conference, and a foundation is provided for realizing cross-conference node backup of modules with the same service type.
The following describes a backup process when a single module in a conference node is abnormal, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 5 is a flowchart of a conference backup method when a media service module is abnormal according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, which will be introduced by taking the media service module as an example, and the abnormal backup flows of the conference service module and the call service module are similar and will not be described herein again.
As shown in fig. 5, in a conference, when a media service module on a certain conference node used in the conference is abnormal, the conference node reports the abnormality to a management node in real time, the management node records the state of the media service module of the conference node and marks the state as abnormal, and simultaneously calculates the total number of media services required for backup in the conference, the management node uses a conference node with the largest number of other idle media services, and determines whether the total number of idle media services on the node is sufficient, if so, the management node allocates the media services on the node, if not, the management node preferentially allocates the idle media services in the current conference node, and then determines and allocates resources on the conference node with the largest number of remaining idle media services again, and so on until all media services to be backed up are reallocated.
Within the conference node, after receiving the media service distributed by the management node, the following process may be performed.
Fig. 6 is a process flow of internal processing of a conference node during conference backup according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 6, because a conference service, a call service, and a media service in a conference do not exist independently, after backup occurs, a new service and a service that does not have backup need to be re-established, taking a conference service module as an example, when a conference service module backs up, a management module (CCMM) will automatically record each call service ID and each media service ID before backup, allocate each call service ID and each media service ID before backup to each conference service after backup, re-link each new conference service with the call service according to the call ID, re-link each new conference service with each media service according to the media ID, and finally update all ID relationships in the current conference.
The backup process of the media service module is similar and will not be described in detail.
It should be noted that, because the call service module is directly connected with the terminal, when the call service module is abnormal, the terminal connection is disconnected, after backup occurs, the CCMM uses the original conference ID to call all terminals again and automatically allocate to generate new call services on the new conference node under the condition that the original call service module is abnormal, then each new call service re-establishes a link with each media service according to the media ID, and the CCMM updates all ID relationships in the current conference.
By adopting the scheme and the processing flow, when a single module in a conference node is abnormal, only the single module needs to be backed up separately, and other modules can still be normally used. Meanwhile, the management node records the state of the abnormal module on the node and cannot continue to use the resource when the resource is allocated until the node returns to normal.
In summary, with the above-mentioned embodiment or preferred embodiment of the present invention, when a single module in a conference node is abnormal, the overall switching of the conference node is not triggered, and then other module resources on the node are continuously utilized. Meanwhile, the embodiment of the invention does not need to provide a module for backup independently, and the idle module in each conference node can be used as the backup target of the similar abnormal module, so that the method is more reliable and flexible.
It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the modules or steps of the present invention described above may be implemented by a general purpose computing device, they may be centralized on a single computing device or distributed across a network of multiple computing devices, and alternatively, they may be implemented by program code executable by a computing device, such that they may be stored in a storage device and executed by a computing device, and in some cases, the steps shown or described may be performed in an order different than that described herein, or they may be separately fabricated into individual integrated circuit modules, or multiple ones of them may be fabricated into a single integrated circuit module. Thus, the present invention is not limited to any specific combination of hardware and software.
The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention and is not intended to limit the present invention, and various modifications and changes may be made by those skilled in the art. Any modification, equivalent replacement, or improvement made within the spirit and principle of the present invention should be included in the protection scope of the present invention.
