Rather, they are merely examples of methods and apparatus consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
The embodiment of the disclosure can be applied to a terminal capable of acquiring and saving files. The terminal capable of acquiring and saving the file has a built-in storage component or a storage component connected with the outside, for example, the terminal may be a mobile phone, a smart watch, smart glasses, MP3/MP4 or a tablet computer, the built-in storage component may be a memory chip in the above device, and the externally connected storage component may be an externally plugged flash memory card, a usb disk or other storage components. For convenience of description, the main body of execution of each step is explained as a terminal.
FIG. 1 is a flow diagram illustrating a file deletion method according to an exemplary embodiment, which may include the following steps:
in step 101, the call behavior to a file of a specified type in the terminal is monitored.
In step 102, after the operation corresponding to the call behavior is completed, the file of the specified type is deleted from the terminal.
In summary, according to the file deleting method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, by monitoring the call behavior of the specified type file in the terminal, after the operation corresponding to the call behavior is executed, the specified type file is deleted from the terminal, so that the terminal can automatically delete the specified type file after the specified type file is called, thereby releasing the storage space occupied by the multimedia file, reducing unnecessary occupation of the storage space of the terminal, and improving the efficiency of the user in sorting the storage space.
FIG. 2 is a flow diagram illustrating a file deletion method according to an exemplary embodiment, which may include the following steps:
in step 201, the call behavior to a file of a specified type in the terminal is monitored.
The terminal monitors the calling action of the file of the designated type in the terminal, the file of the designated type can be a file of a type designated by a user or a software designer, the file of the same designated type has the same or similar attributes, for example, the file of the designated type can be at least one of a screen capture image, an image shot by the terminal, a recorded audio or a recorded video. The calling behavior can be divided into: the method includes the steps that a calling behavior of an operating system in the terminal to a file of the specified type and a calling behavior of a third-party application (software) installed in the terminal to the file of the specified type are carried out, for example, the calling behavior can be the display of a photo or the playing of a video serving as the file of the specified type by the operating system in the terminal, or the calling behavior can also be the sharing action of the file of the specified type serving as the third-party application in the terminal, and the actions include an action of extracting the file of the specified type and an action of sending the file of the specified type to a server.
For example, taking the specific type file as a screenshot image and the call behavior as an example of reading the screenshot image, a call behavior of monitoring the specific type file in the terminal is described, and when a third-party application (e.g., an instant chat tool) installed in the terminal reads the picture, the terminal monitors the reading action of the specific type file to know that the call behavior is executed.
In step 202, when the calling behavior of the file of the specified type in the terminal is monitored, the deletion decision information is obtained.
When the terminal monitors that a call behavior for a specified type file in the terminal occurs, the terminal can continue to monitor the execution condition of an operation corresponding to the call behavior. And when the operation execution corresponding to the calling behavior is finished, the terminal acquires the deletion decision information.
Optionally, when the terminal monitors the call behavior, the terminal continues to monitor an operation corresponding to the call behavior, and when the operation corresponding to the call behavior is to externally issue the specified type of file, acquires the deletion decision information.
Optionally, the operation corresponding to the call behavior may also be an operation of reading, writing, or modifying the file of the specified type.
The operation of issuing to the outside may be that the terminal sends data to the outside through the antenna. For example, the operation of the terminal publishing the file may be to publish the file to a friend in the social network through a social network application, for example, to send an instant messaging message containing the file to a social group or the friend, or to publish a dynamic message containing the file to the social network, or the operation of the terminal publishing the file may also be to send the file to the outside through a mail, a short message, a multimedia message, or the like.
The deletion decision information is used for providing reference for the terminal, so that the terminal can decide whether to delete the file of the specified type according to the decision deletion information.
The deletion decision information may be information related to the storage capability of the terminal, such as a current remaining storage capacity value in the terminal, or information related to the specified type of file, such as a size of the specified type of file or a retention duration of the specified type of file, where the retention duration is a time length from a time when the specified type of file is created to a current time.
The step 202 may be replaced by the step 202a or the step 202b to implement the operation of obtaining deletion decision information.
After completing step 201, the terminal may sequentially perform step 202a, step 203, step 205, and step 206, or may sequentially perform step 202b, step 204, and step 206.
In step 202a, when the call behavior of the specified type file in the terminal is monitored, the retention time of the specified type file is obtained.
When monitoring the calling behavior of the specified type file, the terminal acquires the time when the file is created from the specified type file, then acquires the current time from the system, and obtains the time length from creation to the current of the specified type file by subtracting the two times, wherein the time length is the retention time length of the specified type file.
In step 203, when the retention time of the file of the specified type is smaller than the preset time threshold, it is determined that the deletion decision information meets the preset condition.
The terminal compares the remaining time length of the specified type file with a preset time threshold, where the preset time threshold is a time length with a value set in advance by a designer before the execution of the embodiment of the present disclosure as a constant, and for example, any value of thirty seconds, one minute, or half an hour is a constant time length. And when the retention time of the specified type file is less than a preset time threshold, the terminal determines that the deletion decision information meets a preset condition, and then executes the step of subsequently processing the specified type file.
In practical application, because files temporarily saved by a user exist in the terminal, the files are files which do not need to be saved any more after the user temporarily uses the files. When the user uses the files, the terminal can delete the temporary files to release the occupied storage space. Where these temporary files may be marked by the designer as files of a specified type. For example, a designer marks a screenshot in the terminal as a specified type file, the retention time is thirty seconds, and when the retention time of the screenshot in the terminal is less than a preset time threshold value for thirty seconds, the screenshot is determined to meet a preset condition.
In step 202b, when the calling behavior of the specified type file in the terminal is monitored, the remaining storage capacity of the terminal is obtained.
When monitoring the calling behavior of the file of the designated type, the terminal acquires the residual storage capacity in the terminal, wherein the residual storage capacity can be the residual capacity of the storage capacity built in the terminal or the residual value of the total capacity of the sum of the storage capacity built in the terminal and the storage capacity connected externally. For example, a terminal with a built-in storage capacity of 8GB, currently remaining 1GB, and an externally connected storage capacity of 16GB, currently remaining 4GB may be designed to acquire the built-in remaining storage capacity of 1GB or may be designed to acquire the total remaining storage capacity of 5GB in the disclosed embodiment.
In step 204, when the remaining storage capacity of the terminal is smaller than a preset capacity threshold, it is determined that the deletion decision information satisfies a preset condition.
And the terminal compares the residual storage capacity with a preset capacity threshold value, and determines that the deletion decision information meets a preset condition when the residual storage capacity is smaller than the preset capacity threshold value. The size of the storage capacity in the terminal is fixed on the basis of no change in hardware. When the remaining storage capacity of the terminal is less than a threshold, the overall operation performance of the terminal may be degraded. While in a terminal some types of files occupy more storage capacity, e.g. files like pictures, audio or video. Some files of the specified type are usually temporary files, such as screen capture images, images taken by the terminal, audio recorded by the terminal or video recorded by the terminal.
When the residual storage capacity in the terminal is lower than the preset threshold, in order to ensure that the performance of the terminal in operation is not affected by the residual storage capacity, the terminal determines that the specified type file meets the preset condition, and then performs subsequent processing on the specified type file.
Optionally, the terminal may further obtain a percentage of the remaining storage capacity of the terminal, and when the percentage of the remaining storage capacity in the total storage capacity is smaller than a preset capacity percentage, determine that the deletion decision information satisfies the preset condition.
Optionally, when the remaining storage capacity of the terminal is smaller than a preset capacity threshold and the retention time of the specified type file is smaller than a preset time threshold, it is determined that the deletion decision information meets a preset condition.
The deletion decision information of the terminal can simultaneously comprise the retention time of the specified type file and the remaining storage capacity of the terminal, the terminal respectively detects the two kinds of information after simultaneously acquiring the two kinds of information, and when the remaining storage capacity of the terminal is smaller than a preset capacity threshold and the retention time of the specified type file is smaller than a preset time threshold, the deletion decision information is determined to meet a preset condition. In the design, when the remaining storage capacity of the terminal is higher than a preset threshold, the terminal does not start an automatic sorting (deleting) process flow for the specified type file, when the remaining storage capacity of the terminal is smaller than the preset threshold, the terminal detects whether the retention time of the specified type file is shorter than the preset time, and when the specified type file is shorter than the preset threshold, the terminal determines that the deletion decision information of the specified type file meets the preset condition.
In step 205, a reminder message is displayed.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the reminding message is used to remind whether to determine to delete the file of the specified type. The terminal can display the reminding message in a screen, and the reminding message can be displayed in forms of suspension reminding characters, animation or voice and the like in actual operation.
In step 206, after the operation corresponding to the call behavior is completed, the file of the specified type is deleted from the terminal.
And after the operation execution corresponding to the calling behavior is finished, the terminal deletes the specified type file from the terminal. In the process that the file of the specified type is used by the terminal, since calling the file is usually a necessary action for starting execution of the corresponding operation, before deleting the file of the specified type, the execution of the operation corresponding to the calling action is waited for to be completed. Taking the specified type file as a mobile phone screenshot picture as an example, when a user uses a client of a social application to send a mobile phone screenshot picture of the user to a friend, a calling action of the specified type file is to read the mobile phone screenshot picture, an operation corresponding to the calling action is to send the mobile phone screenshot picture to a server of the social application, and at the moment, the terminal waits for the social application to send the mobile phone screenshot picture to the server and then deletes the mobile phone screenshot picture from the terminal.
Optionally, in a possible implementation manner of the embodiment of the present disclosure, when the terminal determines that the remaining storage capacity of the terminal is smaller than the preset capacity threshold, the terminal continues to query the size of the specified type file, and if the size of the specified type file exceeds the single file size threshold, the terminal deletes the specified type file from the terminal.
Optionally, before the deletion decision information is obtained, the terminal may further provide an information setting interface, so that a user sets a type of the deletion decision information in the information setting interface, the terminal determines the type of the deletion decision information according to an operation of the user in the information setting interface, and when the deletion decision information is obtained, the terminal obtains the deletion decision information according to the type of the deletion decision information.
In addition, the information setting interface can also comprise a parameter setting item, and a user can set relevant parameters of the deletion decision information through the parameter setting item. For example, when the user sets the deletion decision information to be the remaining time length, the relevant parameter of the deletion decision information is the preset time threshold; when the user sets the deletion decision information as the residual storage capacity, the relevant parameter of the deletion decision information is a preset capacity threshold.
For example, when the retention duration of a specified type of file is selected as deletion decision information by a user, the terminal sets the size of a preset time threshold in the terminal as a selected value; when the residual storage capacity of the terminal is selected as deletion decision information by a user, the terminal sets the size of a preset capacity threshold in the terminal as a selected value; when the retention time of the file of the designated type and the residual storage capacity of the terminal are selected as the deletion decision information by the user, the terminal sets the size of the preset time threshold in the terminal as a selected value, and the terminal sets the size of the preset capacity threshold as the selected value.
Referring to fig. 3, which is a schematic diagram of a deletion decision information setting interface provided based on the embodiment shown in fig. 2, the deletion decision information may include a time threshold 301 and a capacity threshold 302, the two deletion decision information respectively correspond to a checkbox 3011 and a checkbox 3021, and when the checkbox corresponding to the deletion decision information is selected, the terminal enables the corresponding deletion decision information as a preset condition of the specified type of file. When the check box 3011 and the check box 3021 are both selected, and the remaining duration of the terminal is less than the time threshold and the remaining capacity is less than the capacity threshold, the terminal considers that the deletion decision information satisfies the preset condition. The input box 3012 corresponding to the time threshold 301 may be used to set a time threshold, and the input box 3022 corresponding to the capacity threshold 302 may be used to set a capacity threshold. Optionally, the type of the deleted file may also be selected in the interface shown in fig. 3, such as selecting one or more of a screenshot image, a terminal-captured image, a recorded audio, or a recorded video.
In a scenario where the terminal is a mobile phone, the specified type file is a screen capture image, and the calling behavior is that the social application reads the image for example. Referring to fig. 4, which is an interface diagram for deleting files of a specific type provided based on the embodiment shown in fig. 2, when jack uses a social application in a mobile phone and lyda chat, jack intercepts an image 41 of the mobile phone desktop because he wants to show his own mobile phone desktop background to lyda. Referring to the interface 4A, when the jack determines to select the image 41 and clicks "send" in the interface 4A, the mobile phone monitors that the social application reads the image (corresponding to that the operation corresponding to the call action is performed and completed), the time when the image is created is 19:38:26, the retention time of the image is calculated to be 16 seconds by combining the current time 19:38:42 provided by the system, the retention time serving as the deletion decision information meets the preset condition because the retention time is less than 60 seconds of the preset time threshold, the mobile phone turns to the interface 4B, in the interface 4B, after the mobile phone sends the image to the server of the social application, the mobile phone pops up a dialog box 42 to remind the jack whether to delete the screenshot image, and when the jack clicks a determination button 43, the mobile phone deletes the screenshot image 41 from the mobile phone.
In another scenario that can be implemented in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the terminal is a mobile phone, the specified type file is a video, and the call behavior is that the mail application accesses the video. Mary uses a mobile phone to shoot a video of own makeup, she wants to send the video to Annie, a friend through a mail, when she adds the video to an attachment in the mail, the mobile phone monitors that the video is accessed by a mail application, the mobile phone inquires that the remaining storage capacity of the current mobile phone is 274MB which is smaller than the preset storage capacity 300MB, so that the remaining storage capacity serving as the deletion decision information meets the preset condition, and the video is deleted after the mobile phone uploads the video from the storage of the mobile phone to a server providing the mail service.
To sum up, the file deleting method provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure monitors a call behavior of a specific type file in a terminal, obtains a retention time of the specific type file when the call behavior of the specific type file in the terminal is monitored, determines that deletion decision information satisfies a preset condition when the retention time of the specific type file is smaller than a preset time threshold, or obtains a remaining storage capacity of the terminal when the call behavior of the specific type file in the terminal is monitored, determines that deletion decision information satisfies the preset condition when the remaining storage capacity of the terminal is smaller than a preset capacity threshold, displays a prompt message, and deletes the specific type file from the terminal after receiving an instruction to determine to delete the specific type file after the prompt message is displayed and after an operation corresponding to the call behavior is executed is completed, the terminal can automatically delete the file after the file of the designated type is called so as to release the storage space occupied by the multimedia file, thereby achieving the effects of reducing unnecessary occupation of the storage space of the terminal and improving the efficiency of arranging the storage space by a user.
Fig. 5 is a block diagram illustrating a file deleting device according to an exemplary embodiment, which may be implemented by a combination of hardware and software or by a pure hardware circuit to form all or part of the structure of the terminal, so as to implement the steps executed by the terminal in fig. 1 or fig. 2.
