Abstract
The invention relates to a set-top box debugging method and a system, wherein a PC is connected with a tune module of a set-top box, the set-top box is debugged through the tune module by utilizing the characteristic that the set-top box terminal product is provided with the tune module, the final set-top box can be debugged directly without designing and manufacturing a set-top box with a debugging version, thereby greatly reducing the complexity of set-top box debugging, reducing the debugging time and cost, improving the debugging efficiency, being capable of obtaining the debugging result of the final set-top box and accurately debugging the set-top box.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a digital television terminal, in particular to a set top box debugging method and a set top box debugging system.
Background
In the development and production process of the set-top box, debugging is an essential program.
At present, the commonly used debugging methods of the set-top box include serial port debugging, network port debugging and the like, the debugging methods have a commonality and need to be provided with debugging interfaces such as a serial port or a network port and the like on the set-top box, and the actual final set-top box can not be directly debugged without the debugging interfaces. In order to debug the set-top box, a debugging set-top box with a debugging interface needs to be designed, and the debugging set-top box cannot be used after debugging is completed, so that the debugging complexity is greatly increased, the debugging time and cost are increased, the debugging result of the final set-top box cannot be obtained, and the debugging is not facilitated accurately.

In view of this, it is necessary to provide a method and a system for debugging a set top box, aiming at the problems that the set top box is complex to debug, the debugging time and cost are increased, and the debugging cannot be accurately performed.
The invention provides a set-top box debugging method, which comprises the following steps:
s10: connecting a PC (personal computer) with a tuner module of a set-top box by adopting a USB-to-RF interface, and debugging the set-top box through the tuner module;
s20: and sending debugging data by the PC, wherein the debugging data is firstly subjected to data conversion and then sent to the set top box through the tuner module for debugging to obtain a debugging result, the set top box sends the debugging result through the tuner module, and the debugging result is sent to the PC after the data conversion.

Further, when the USB-to-RF interface is connected to tuner modules of the PC and the set-top box, the PC first sends a section of the debugging sample, the debugging sample is converted by the USB-to-RF interface and then sent to the set-top box, and a feedback result is returned, if the feedback result is normal, it is indicated that the PC and the set-top box are normally connected, and the debugging data starts to be sent, otherwise, the connection abnormality is checked whether the USB-to-RF interface is normally connected.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention is described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a set-top box debugging method in an embodiment, as shown in fig. 1, the method includes the following steps:
s10: the PC is connected with a tuner module (tuner) of the set-top box by adopting a USB-to-RF (radio frequency) interface, and the set-top box is debugged through the tuner module.
the tuner module is a component which is necessary to be arranged on the final product of the set-top box, can receive the RF signal, perform modulation and filtration, and send the RF signal to the set-top box, and also has a data back-transmission function. In the method, the tuner module is utilized to debug the set-top box in combination with the functions of the tuner module, in the embodiment, the PC is selected as a debugging host to debug the set-top box, and the data interface of the PC is USB and cannot be directly connected with the tuner module of the set-top box, so that the USB-to-RF interface is adopted to be connected with the tuner module of the set-top box, and the set-top box is debugged through the tuner module.
S20: the debugging data is transmitted by the PC, the debugging data is firstly subjected to data conversion and then transmitted to the set top box through the tuner module for debugging, a debugging result is obtained, the set top box transmits the debugging result through the tuner module, and the debugging result is transmitted to the PC after the data conversion.
After the PC is connected with the tuner module of the set-top box, the set-top box is debugged by the PC, and as the tuner module receives radio frequency data, the debugging data sent by the PC needs to be converted before being sent to the tuner module of the set-top box, so that the set-top box is debugged.
In a further aspect, before debugging the set-top box, the method further comprises: when the USB-to-RF interface is respectively connected with the PC and the tuner module of the set-top box, the PC sends a section of debugging sample firstly, the debugging sample is sent to the set-top box after being converted and returns a feedback result, if the feedback result is normal, the communication between the PC and the set-top box is normal, the debugging data is sent, otherwise, the communication is abnormal, and whether the connection between the USB-to-RF interface is normal is checked. Therefore, inaccurate debugging results caused by abnormal connection can be avoided.
In addition, when the set-top box sends the debugging result, the set-top box sends the main chip ID together with the debugging result to the tuner module. Therefore, when the set-top boxes are debugged in batches by the PC, different set-top boxes can be distinguished according to the unique main chip ID.
According to the set top box debugging method, the PC is connected with the tune module of the set top box, the set top box is debugged through the tune module by utilizing the characteristic that the set top box terminal product is provided with the tune module, the final set top box can be debugged directly, and the set top box with a debugging version is not required to be designed and manufactured, so that the complexity of set top box debugging is greatly reduced, the debugging time and cost are reduced, the debugging efficiency is improved, the debugging result of the final set top box can be obtained, and the set top box can be debugged accurately.
Meanwhile, the present invention also provides a structure diagram of a set-top box debugging system, as shown in fig. 2, the system includes: PC 100, USB to RF (radio frequency) interface 200, and tuner module 300 of the set-top box. The PC 100 is connected to the tuner module 300 of the set-top box through the USB to RF interface 200, and the set-top box is debugged through the tuner module 300. The PC 100 transmits the debug data, the debug data is subjected to data conversion by the USB-to-RF interface 200 and then transmitted to the set-top box by the tuner module 300 for debugging, the debug result is obtained and transmitted by the set-top box through the tuner module 300, and the debug result is transmitted to the PC 100 after data conversion by the USB-to-RF interface 200.
After the PC 100 is connected to the tuner module 300 of the set-top box, the PC 100 starts to debug the set-top box, and since the tuner module 300 receives radio frequency data, the debug data sent by the PC 100 needs to be converted by the USB-to-RF interface 200 before being sent to the tuner module 300 of the set-top box to debug the set-top box.
In a further mode, before debugging the set-top box, when the USB to RF interface 200 is connected to the PC 100 and the tuner module 300 of the set-top box respectively, the PC 100 first sends a section of the debugging sample, the debugging sample is converted by the USB to RF interface 200 and then sent to the set-top box and returns a feedback result, if the feedback result is normal, it indicates that the PC 100 and the set-top box are normally connected, the debugging data starts to be sent, otherwise, the connection abnormality checks whether the connection of the USB to RF interface 200 is normal. Therefore, inaccurate debugging results caused by abnormal connection can be avoided.
In addition, when the debug result is transmitted by the set-top box, the main chip ID is transmitted to the tuner module 300 together with the debug result. Thus, when the PC 100 debugs the set-top boxes in batch, each different set-top box can be distinguished according to the unique master chip ID.
According to the set-top box debugging method, the PC 100 is connected with the tuner module 300 of the set-top box through the USB-to-RF interface 200, the set-top box is debugged through the tuner module 300 by utilizing the characteristic that the tuner module 300 is arranged on a set-top box terminal product, the final set-top box can be directly debugged, and the set-top box with a debugging version is not required to be designed and manufactured, so that the complexity of set-top box debugging is greatly reduced, the debugging time and cost are reduced, the debugging efficiency is improved, the debugging result of the final set-top box can be obtained, and the set-top box can be debugge.

Claims (4)
1. A set top box debugging method is characterized by comprising the following steps:
s10: connecting a PC (personal computer) with a tuner module of a set-top box by adopting a USB-to-RF interface, and debugging the set-top box through the tuner module;
s20: the debugging data is firstly subjected to data conversion and then is sent to the set top box through the tuner module for debugging, a debugging result is obtained, the set top box sends the debugging result through the tuner module, and the debugging result is sent to the PC after the data conversion; and when the set-top box sends the debugging result, the set-top box sends the main chip ID together with the debugging result to the tuner module.
2. The set-top box debugging method of claim 1, wherein the step S20 further comprises: when the USB-to-RF interface is respectively connected with the PC and the tuner module of the set-top box, the PC sends a section of debugging sample firstly, the debugging sample is sent to the set-top box after being converted and returns a feedback result, if the feedback result is normal, the communication between the PC and the set-top box is normal, the debugging data is sent, otherwise, the communication is abnormal, and whether the connection between the USB-to-RF interface is normal is checked.
3. A set-top box debugging system, comprising: the tuner module comprises a PC, a USB-to-RF interface and a set-top box; the PC is connected with a tuner module of the set-top box through the USB-to-RF interface, the set-top box is debugged through the tuner module, the PC sends debugging data, the debugging data is subjected to data conversion through the USB-to-RF interface and then sent to the set-top box through the tuner module for debugging, a debugging result is obtained and sent to the PC through the tuner module, and the debugging result is sent to the PC after being subjected to data conversion through the USB-to-RF interface; and when the set-top box sends the debugging result, sending the main chip ID together with the debugging result to the tuner module.

The set-top box debugging system of claim 3, wherein when the USB-to-RF interface is connected to the PC and the tuner module of the set-top box respectively, the PC sends a section of debugging sample first, the debugging sample is sent to the set-top box after being converted by the USB-to-RF interface and returns a feedback result, if the feedback result is normal, it is indicated that the PC and the set-top box are normally connected, debugging data starts to be sent, otherwise, the connection abnormality is checked whether the USB-to-RF interface is normally connected.
