Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
According to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, all software to which an installation request is directed, including target software and other software bundled with the target software, are confirmed according to installation intentions of users respectively, only software which obtains user permission can be downloaded to a specified position and installed, and software which cannot obtain user permission cannot be downloaded and even cannot be installed. By the technical scheme, the binding software which is actually not needed can be prevented from being installed by a user carelessly, the operation of deleting after the binding software is installed carelessly is omitted, convenience is brought to the user, and the time of the user is saved.
FIG. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method of software installation, as shown in FIG. 1, including the following steps S101-S104, according to an exemplary embodiment:
In step S101, a first software installation request is received;
In step S102, for the software group to which the first software installation request is directed, the software group including the first software and at least one second software, respectively outputting a first prompt message, where the first prompt message is used to inquire whether to approve downloading the installation files of the first software and the second software to a first specified location;
In step S103, when it is confirmed that the installation files of the first software and the second software are approved to be downloaded to the first designated location, downloading the installation files of the first software and the second software to the first designated location;
In step S104, the first software and the second software are installed.
In this embodiment, the first software refers to target software that the user wants to install, the second software refers to other software bundled with the target software, and for all the software to which the first software installation request is directed, including the first software and one or more second software bundled with the first software, the installation will of the user is confirmed, only the software that obtains the user license can be downloaded to a specified location and installed, and the software that fails to obtain the user license cannot be downloaded, and even cannot be installed. By the technical scheme, the binding software which is actually not needed can be prevented from being installed by a user carelessly, the operation of deleting after the binding software is installed carelessly is omitted, convenience is brought to the user, and the time of the user is saved.
In one embodiment, the first software installation request carries a download address of first software, where the download address of the first software only stores an installation file of the first software, or stores one or more installation files of second software in addition to the installation file of the first software.
In this embodiment, the download address of a first software may only store the installation file of the first software, and may also store one or more installation files of a second software, such as the installation files of other software bundled with the installation file of the first software, in addition to the installation file of the first software. At present, in order to promote software developed by a software developer and a service provider, provided services and other products or services related to or closely related to own interests, the software developer and the service provider usually bind the promotion objects to some common software, so that when a user downloads or installs the common software, the promotion objects are installed in an careless manner, and the promotion purpose of the software developer and the service provider is further realized.
In one embodiment, the step S103 further includes:
And when confirming that the installation file of the second software is not approved to be downloaded to the first appointed position, downloading the installation file of the second software to a second appointed position.
in this embodiment, considering that the software that is not licensed by the user at present may not be spam software but software that is likely to be used by the user later, in order to facilitate installation of the user, the software may be downloaded to a second predetermined location, such as a temporary folder or the like, so as to remind the user of processing later, thereby providing diversity for selection of the user, saving time spent by the user in finding the software later for the software that is not used at present but is likely to be used later, and providing convenience for the user.
in an embodiment, the step S103 further includes a step of further processing the file stored at the second designated location, that is, as shown in fig. 2, the step S103 includes the following steps S201 to S204:

in step S202, when it is determined that the installation file of the second software is not approved to be downloaded to the first designated location, downloading the installation file of the second software to the second designated location;
Inquiring whether to agree to move the installation file of the second software at the second designated position to the first designated position after a preset time in step S203;
in step S204, when it is confirmed that the installation file of the second software at the second specified location is approved to be moved to the first specified location, the installation file of the second software at the second specified location is moved to the first specified location.
In an embodiment, the step S103 further includes the following steps:
And deleting the installation file of the second software at the second appointed position when confirming that the installation file of the second software at the second appointed position is not approved to be moved to the first appointed position.
in the above embodiment, after a preset time, the user is asked whether to approve to move the installation file of the second software at the second designated location to the first designated location for the second software downloaded to the second predetermined location, if the user approves to indicate that the user currently needs the software, the installation file of the second software at the second designated location is moved to the first designated location, and if the user still does not approve to indicate that the user does not really need the software, the installation file of the second software at the second designated location is deleted. The preset time can be determined according to the requirements of practical application, for example, hours, days, 1 month, months and the like, and in use, the specific value of the preset time can be adjusted at any time. The technical scheme can provide the opportunity of selecting again for the user, saves the time spent by the user for searching the software for the software which is not used before but is possibly used later, and further provides convenience for the user to use.
In one embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, the step S104 includes the following steps S301-S302:
In step S301, detecting whether the position where the second software is located is the first designated position;
in step S302, if the location where the second software is located is the first designated location, the second software is installed.
In an embodiment, the step S104 further includes the following steps:
and when the position of the second software is not the first designated position, refusing to install the second software.
in this embodiment, when installing software that has downloaded an installation file, it is first detected whether a location where the software is located is the first designated location, and when it is determined that the location where the software is located is the first designated location, the software is installed, otherwise, the software is rejected from being installed. Therefore, the software to be installed can be controlled purposefully, and the trouble of the user caused by the installation of the software which is not needed by the user is avoided.
in an embodiment, the step S104 further includes a step of performing a user query on second software not stored in the first designated location, and as shown in fig. 4, the step S104 includes the following steps S401 to S403:
In step S401, when the location of the second software is not the first designated location, outputting a second prompt message, where the second prompt message is used to inquire whether installation of the second software is approved;
in step S402, when it is confirmed that the installation of the second software is approved, installing the second software;
in step S403, when it is determined that the installation of the second software is not approved, the installation of the second software is rejected or a third prompt message is output after a preset time, where the third prompt message is used to inquire whether the installation of the second software is approved.
in an embodiment, the step S104 further includes the following steps:
and deleting the second software when the second software is determined not to be installed after a preset time.
in this embodiment, for the second software whose location is not the first designated location, the installation is not directly rejected, but the user is queried, if the user confirms to install the second software, the installation is performed, if the user confirms that the second software is not installed at present, the user is queried again after a preset time to determine whether the user agrees to install the second software, if the user agrees to indicate that the user needs the second software at present, the second software is installed, and if the user still disagrees to indicate that the user does not really need the second software, the installation file of the second software is completely deleted.
