Description

D2D communication method on unlicensed frequency band, D2D communication device, terminal and base station
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a D2D communication method on an unauthorized frequency band, a D2D communication device on the unauthorized frequency band, a terminal and a base station.
Background
D2D (Device-to-Device) communication is a technology of direct communication between terminals introduced by 3GPP Release-12, and introduces the concept of sidelink (sidelink) based on the traditional uplink/downlink communication link. The D2D communication technology has completed the standardization of 3GPP Rel-12 and Rel-13, and currently 3GPP is carrying out the standardization of Rel-14. The D2D communication technology was standardized for the public safety scenario primarily in Release 12 and Rel-13, and for the business scenario beginning with Rel-14. In addition, the D2D technologies of Rel-12 to Rel-14 mainly aim at the licensed frequency band, and neither the transmission of base station control signaling related to D2D communication, a synchronization signal (SLSS) between terminals, Scheduling Assignment Signaling (SA) nor D2D data needs to consider interference from the unlicensed frequency band.
The D2D communication technology based on the authorized frequency band does not occupy uplink and downlink transmission resources of a macro base station although the capability of direct communication between terminals can be provided. However, there is a large barrier to industrialization and commercial deployment if the D2D communication technology is limited to licensed bands. In a commercial deployment scenario, if D2D communication is in the same frequency band as the cellular network deployed by the operator, the operator may consider the interference that D2D communication may bring as a potential threat. On the other hand, D2D communication bypasses a part of the traffic of the operators, resulting in reduced revenue of the operators, and for the operators with higher importance on traffic operation, the D2D communication technology is not deployed on the authorized frequency band in a mature business model.
The existing D2D communication technology generally performs transmission on the resources of the licensed band after the D2D terminals complete discovery of each other, and does not support D2D transmission in the unlicensed band. Therefore, the prior art cannot utilize the 5G new LTE transmission technology (i.e., on the new unlicensed frequency band) for D2D data transmission.
Therefore, how to ensure that the D2D communication technology can be applied to the unlicensed spectrum becomes an urgent technical problem to be solved.
Disclosure of Invention
Based on at least one of the above technical problems, the present invention provides a new D2D communication scheme on the unlicensed frequency band, and implements application of the D2D communication mechanism on the unlicensed frequency band.
In view of this, according to a first aspect of the present invention, a method for D2D communication on an unlicensed frequency band is provided, including: receiving granularity information of frequency spectrum resources adopted when D2D communication is carried out on an unlicensed frequency band, wherein the granularity information is indicated by a base station; judging whether D2D data needs to be transmitted on the unlicensed frequency band; if D2D data is determined to be transmitted in the unlicensed frequency band, acquiring transmission resources for D2D communication in the unlicensed frequency band according to the granularity information indicated by the base station; and transmitting the D2D data on an unlicensed frequency band based on the acquired transmission resources.
In the technical scheme, the granularity information of the frequency spectrum resource adopted when the base station indicates to perform the D2D communication on the unlicensed frequency band is received, so that the base station can indicate the terminal to perform the D2D communication on the unlicensed frequency band by synthesizing the communication environment, the terminal capability and other aspects on the unlicensed frequency band, and further, when the terminal needs to transmit the D2D data on the unlicensed frequency band, the transmission resource can be obtained according to the granularity information indicated by the base station to perform the D2D data transmission, thereby realizing the application of the D2D communication mechanism on the unlicensed frequency band.
The granularity information indicated by the base station may be coarse granularity information or fine granularity information. The difference between the coarse-grained information and the fine-grained information is that the occupied spectrum bandwidth is different during communication, that is, the spectrum bandwidth represented by the coarse-grained information is larger than the spectrum bandwidth represented by the fine-grained information.

For example, terminals located at different positions may be allocated by the base station to use the same transmission resource for D2D communication, while ensuring that no communication collision occurs.

Detailed Description
In order that the above objects, features and advantages of the present invention can be more clearly understood, a more particular description of the invention will be rendered by reference to the appended drawings. It should be noted that the embodiments and features of the embodiments of the present application may be combined with each other without conflict.
In the following description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the present invention, however, the present invention may be practiced in other ways than those specifically described herein, and therefore the scope of the present invention is not limited by the specific embodiments disclosed below.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic flow chart of a D2D communication method on an unlicensed frequency band according to a first embodiment of the present invention, and the D2D communication method is applicable to a terminal side.
As shown in fig. 1, a method for D2D communication on an unlicensed frequency band according to a first embodiment of the present invention includes:
step S10, receiving the granularity information of the spectrum resource used when the base station indicates to perform D2D communication on the unlicensed frequency band.
In an embodiment of the present invention, step S10 specifically includes: and receiving the granularity information of the spectrum resources adopted when the base station carries out D2D communication on the unlicensed frequency band, which is indicated by system information or special signaling.
Step S12, determine whether there is D2D data to be transmitted in the unlicensed band.
Step S14, if it is determined that there is D2D data to be transmitted in the unlicensed frequency band, acquiring transmission resources for D2D communication in the unlicensed frequency band according to the granularity information indicated by the base station.
Specifically, the step S14 can be implemented in several ways:
the first method is as follows:
step S14 specifically includes: when the granularity information indicated by the base station is first granularity information, carrying out channel detection on a specified unauthorized frequency band; and if the specified unlicensed frequency band detects that the channel is idle, taking the whole bandwidth or part of the bandwidth of the specified unlicensed frequency band as the frequency domain resource in the transmission resource.
In this manner, the first granularity information may be coarse granularity information, and when the base station indicates the first granularity information and the terminal detects that a channel is idle in a specified unlicensed frequency band, the terminal may directly occupy all or a part of a bandwidth of the unlicensed frequency band to perform D2D communication.
The second method comprises the following steps:
step S14 specifically includes: when the granularity information indicated by the base station is second granularity information, monitoring the transmission condition of scheduling information and/or user data of other terminals on the specified unauthorized frequency band according to the frequency band information and resource information of the specified unauthorized frequency band pre-configured by the base station; and selecting transmission resources for performing D2D communication on the appointed unlicensed frequency band according to the monitored scheduling information and/or user data transmission condition of the other terminals on the appointed unlicensed frequency band.
In this manner, the second granularity information may be fine granularity information, and when the base station indicates the second granularity information, the terminal needs to monitor transmission conditions of scheduling information and/or user data of other terminals on a specified unlicensed frequency band, so as to select a suitable transmission resource for D2D transmission.
The third method comprises the following steps:
step S14 specifically includes: when the granularity information indicated by the base station is second granularity information, carrying out channel detection on a specified unauthorized frequency band; if the designated unauthorized frequency band detects that the channel is busy, monitoring the transmission condition of scheduling information and/or user data of other terminals on the designated unauthorized frequency band according to the frequency band information and resource information of the designated unauthorized frequency band, which are pre-configured by the base station; and selecting transmission resources for performing D2D communication on the appointed unlicensed frequency band according to the monitored scheduling information and/or user data transmission condition of the other terminals on the appointed unlicensed frequency band.
In this way, when the base station indicates the second granularity information, the terminal may perform channel detection on the entire unlicensed frequency band first, and when it is detected that the channel is busy, perform finer-granularity detection, that is, monitor transmission conditions of scheduling information and/or user data of other terminals on the designated unlicensed frequency band, to select an appropriate transmission resource for D2D transmission.
The method is as follows:
step S14 specifically includes: when the granularity information indicated by the base station is second granularity information, sending self position information to the base station; and receiving transmission resources which are distributed by the base station according to the position information and are used for carrying out D2D communication on the unlicensed frequency band.
In this way, the terminal may send its location information to the base station, and the base station assists in selecting resources for D2D transmission on the unlicensed frequency band, so that space division multiplexing can be implemented on the unlicensed frequency band. For example, terminals located at different positions may be allocated by the base station to use the same transmission resource for D2D communication, while ensuring that no communication collision occurs.
The D2D communication method on the unlicensed frequency band shown in fig. 1 further includes:
step S16, based on the acquired transmission resource, transmitting the D2D data on an unlicensed frequency band.
In the technical scheme shown in fig. 1, a terminal receives granularity information of a spectrum resource used when a base station indicates to perform D2D communication in an unlicensed frequency band, so that the base station can indicate the terminal to perform D2D communication in the unlicensed frequency band by synthesizing conditions of communication environment, terminal capability and the like in the unlicensed frequency band, and further, when the terminal needs to transmit D2D data in the unlicensed frequency band, the terminal can acquire a transmission resource and perform D2D data transmission according to the granularity information indicated by the base station, thereby implementing application of a D2D communication mechanism in the unlicensed frequency band.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic flow chart of a D2D communication method on an unlicensed frequency band according to a second embodiment of the present invention, and the D2D communication method is applied to a base station side.
As shown in fig. 2, a D2D communication method on an unlicensed frequency band according to a second embodiment of the present invention includes:
step S20, determining the granularity information of the spectrum resource used by the terminal for D2D communication on the unlicensed frequency band.
Specifically, the base station may determine granularity information of a spectrum resource used by the terminal for D2D communication on the unlicensed frequency band, based on at least one of the following factors: resource coordination capability across spectrum, capability of terminal, requirement for power consumption, requirement for signaling overhead.
Step S22, indicating the granularity information to the terminal, so that the terminal obtains the transmission resource for D2D communication in the unlicensed frequency band according to the granularity information.
When indicating the granularity information of the spectrum resources to the terminal, the base station may, on the one hand, multiplex the system information for indication, and, on the other hand, may also define a new dedicated signaling for indication.
In the technical scheme, the base station determines the granularity information of the frequency spectrum resource adopted by the terminal for performing the D2D communication on the unlicensed frequency band, so that the base station can synthesize the communication environment, the terminal capability and other aspects on the unlicensed frequency band to instruct the terminal to perform the D2D communication on the unlicensed frequency band, further, when the terminal needs to transmit the D2D data on the unlicensed frequency band, the base station can acquire the transmission resource and transmit the D2D data according to the granularity information indicated by the base station, and the application of the D2D communication mechanism on the unlicensed frequency band is realized.
Further, the D2D communication method on the unlicensed frequency band further includes: acquiring transmission resources adopted by terminals in adjacent cells when performing D2D communication on an unauthorized frequency band; determining a designated unauthorized frequency band which should be adopted by the terminal in the cell when the terminal carries out D2D communication according to the transmission resource adopted by the terminal in the adjacent cell when carrying out D2D communication on the unauthorized frequency band; and notifying the information of the appointed unauthorized frequency band to the terminal in the local cell so that the terminal in the local cell performs D2D communication on the appointed unauthorized frequency band.
In the technical scheme, the designated unauthorized frequency band which should be adopted by the terminal in the cell when the terminal performs the D2D communication is determined according to the transmission resource which is adopted by the terminal in the adjacent cell when performing the D2D communication on the unauthorized frequency band, so that the base station can synthesize the global information to select the unauthorized frequency band which should be adopted by the terminal in the cell when performing the D2D communication, and the realization of load balancing is facilitated.
Fig. 1 and 2 illustrate how the D2D communication can be applied to an unlicensed frequency band from a terminal side and a base station side, respectively, and are further illustrated in the following in conjunction with fig. 3 as a whole:
as shown in fig. 3, a D2D communication method on an unlicensed frequency band according to a third embodiment of the present invention includes:
step 302, the base station configures the access granularity of the unlicensed frequency band for the terminal.
A base station operates in an authorized frequency band, and a provided macro Cell is selected as a PCell (Primary Cell) by a UE (User Equipment, also called a terminal). On the PCell, the base station and the D2D transmit RRC (Radio Resource Control) connection between the UE and the UE, and also maintain a Media Access Control (MAC) layer logical channel to support MAC signaling transmission.
The principles of base station configuration include, but are not limited to: cross-spectrum resource coordination implemented in network deployment, UE capabilities, consideration of power consumption and signaling overhead, etc.
The access granularity configured by the base station comprises coarse granularity and fine granularity, wherein the coarse granularity is more suitable for the unauthorized frequency band used by the non-LTE protocol, and the fine granularity is more suitable for the unauthorized frequency band used by the LTE protocol. The fine-grained mechanism can allow the D2D transmission by multiple terminals on the unlicensed frequency band to realize time-frequency resource-based multiplexing.
Step 304, the terminal judges whether the D2D data transmission is needed, if yes, step 306 is executed; otherwise, continuing to judge.
Step 306, when the terminal detects an available frequency band, execute step 308.
Step 308, determining whether the access granularity configured by the base station is coarse granularity or fine granularity, if so, executing step 310; if fine, go to step 312.
In step 310, a LAA (License Assisted Access to Unlicensed Spectrum) mechanism is used to perform D2D transmission using all or part of the frequency band.
Under the control of the base station, the UE may implement LBT (Listen Before Talk) operation with other systems by using an energy and/or power detection method, that is, perform channel detection, and if it is detected that the channel is idle, the UE directly uses a part or the whole frequency band to send scheduling assignment signaling and data.
The mechanism is suitable for UE to use an unlicensed frequency band of a non-LTE protocol, does not need the UE to detect scheduling distribution signaling and data sent by the UE of a certain licensed frequency band, and can realize the use of resources with coarser granularity.
Step 312, SA parsing is performed, and D2D transmission is performed using a part of time frequency resources.
A D2D communication mechanism based on a scheduling mode may be used for specific implementation, and a macro base station supporting the PCell scheduling function needs to pre-configure a frequency band of an unlicensed frequency band and resource information thereof. The UE may listen to other UEs for scheduling assignment signaling and transmission of data to enable LBT detection prior to D2D communication. This listening mechanism requires the UE to be able to resolve the protocol over the unlicensed band to identify whether D2D transmission is possible. And the mechanism requires the UE to analyze the protocol on a certain authorized frequency band to select a proper time-frequency resource for D2D data transmission.
Alternatively, if the D2D sending UE can report its specific location information to the base station, the macro base station may select an appropriate time-frequency resource for scheduling according to the location information of the sending UE. For example, D2D transmitting UEs located at different positions may use the same time-frequency resource for D2D data transmission, so that space division multiplexing may be further implemented on the unlicensed frequency band.
It should be noted that, in step 310, if the UE detects that the channel on a certain unlicensed frequency band is busy through the LBT mechanism, but still desires to perform D2D transmission through the frequency band, fine-grained spectrum resource access and use may be performed as described in step 312.
In a specific embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 4, the base station operates in an authorized frequency band, the PCell supports scheduling of D2D communication in an unlicensed frequency band, the base station may schedule the terminal 402 to obtain a time-frequency resource for D2D transmission in the unlicensed frequency band, and then the terminal 402 may perform D2D communication with the terminal 404 through the obtained time-frequency resource.
In order to reduce the problem of collision caused by a large number of terminals concentrating on one unlicensed spectrum for D2D transmission, the information that needs to be maintained by the PCell includes resource allocation information for D2D transmission by a plurality of connected UEs on other unlicensed spectrum.
Meanwhile, the PCell may also need to maintain D2D resource information transmitted by other UEs connected to the neighboring cell in the unlicensed frequency band. Through the global information maintained by the PCell, the PCell can make a decision as to whether the D2D transmitting terminal transmits through the unlicensed frequency band or the licensed frequency band. And when the number of D2D terminals transmitting on the unlicensed frequency band is large and the density is high, the PCell may schedule the UE to perform D2D communication on other unlicensed frequency bands, so as to implement load adjustment and balancing.
