The method and the device for combining the application icons on the desktop of the terminal can combine the application icons on the desktop of the terminal by receiving a combination instruction for combining the application icons, wherein the application icons at least comprise a first application icon and a second application icon, the first application icon and the second application icon are combined into a combined icon, a display area corresponding to the combined icon at least comprises a first area and a second area, the first area is used for displaying the first application icon, and the second area is used for displaying the second application icon and displaying the combined icon on the desktop of the terminal. Therefore, the application icons needing to be combined can be selected independently according to the requirements of the user, the user can operate conveniently, and meanwhile the icon display space of the terminal is saved, so that the utilization rate of the terminal desktop is improved, and the convenience and the rapidness of icon operation are improved.
Please refer to fig. 5, which is a schematic structural diagram of another application icon management apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the apparatus 5 according to an embodiment of the present invention may include: the receiving module 30, the combining module 31, and the display module 32, wherein,
the first area and the second area may respectively occupy one half of the combined icon, and the first area and the second area may be disposed diagonally, disposed left and right, and disposed up and down.
Optionally, the first application corresponding to the first application icon and the second application corresponding to the second application icon are the same type of application.
Optionally, the second application is a split application of the first application, and the split application is a split application which is obtained by performing application bi-parting on an original application and has the same function as the original application without affecting each other.
Optionally, the apparatus further comprises:
a determining module 33, configured to determine whether the user touches the first area or the second area;
the processing module 34 is configured to open a first application corresponding to the first application icon in the first area if the determining module 33 determines that the first area is touched by the user; if the determining module 33 determines that the user touches the second area, a second application corresponding to the second application icon in the second area is opened.
Optionally, the apparatus further comprises:
the receiving module 35 is further configured to receive a disassembling instruction for disassembling the combined icon;
a disassembling module 36, configured to perform corresponding disassembling processing on the combined icon according to the instruction of the disassembling instruction, and restore and display the first application icon and the second application icon on a desktop of the terminal.

Fig. 6 is a schematic structural diagram of a terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention. The terminal may be a device with a communication network function, such as a smart phone, a tablet computer, and a smart wearable device, as shown in fig. 6, the terminal according to the embodiment of the present invention may include modules, such as a display screen, a key, a speaker, and a sound pickup, and further includes: at least one bus 501, at least one processor 502 connected to the bus 501, and at least one memory 503 connected to the bus 501, a communication device 505 that implements a communication function, and a power supply device 504 that supplies power to each power consuming module of the terminal.
The processor 502 may invoke code stored in memory 503 to perform the associated functions via the bus 501, wherein the memory 503 includes an operating system, a data transfer application.
The processor 502 is configured to receive a combination instruction for combining application icons on a desktop of a terminal, where the application icons include at least a first application icon and a second application icon; combining the first application icon and the second application icon into a combined icon, wherein a display area corresponding to the combined icon at least comprises a first area and a second area, the first area is used for displaying the first application icon, and the second area is used for displaying the second application icon; and displaying the combined icon on a desktop of the terminal.
Further optionally, the processor 502 is further configured to enable the first area and the second area to respectively occupy one half of the combined icon, and enable the first area and the second area to be arranged in any one of a diagonal line, a left-right direction, and a top-bottom direction.
Further optionally, the processor 502 is further configured to enable a first application corresponding to the first application icon and a second application corresponding to the second application icon to be applications of the same type.
Further optionally, the processor 502 is further configured to enable the second application to be a split application of the first application, where the split application is a split application that is functionally different from and does not affect an original application and is obtained by performing application bi-splitting on the original application.
Further optionally, the processor 502 is further configured to determine whether the first area or the second area is touched by a user; if the user touches the first area, opening a first application corresponding to the first application icon in the first area; and if the user touches the second area, opening a second application corresponding to the second application icon in the second area.
Further optionally, the processor 502 is further configured to receive a dismissal instruction for dismissing the combined icon; and performing corresponding disassembling processing on the combined icon according to the instruction of the disassembling instruction, and restoring and displaying the first application icon and the second application icon on the desktop of the terminal.

Embodiments of the present invention also provide a computer storage medium, where the computer storage medium may store a program, and the program includes, when executed, some or all of the steps of the freezing and thawing operation method of any application described in the above method embodiments.
It should be noted that, for simplicity of description, the above-mentioned method embodiments are described as a series of acts or combination of acts, but those skilled in the art will recognize that the present invention is not limited by the order of acts, as some steps may occur in other orders or concurrently in accordance with the invention. Further, those skilled in the art should also appreciate that the embodiments described in the specification are preferred embodiments and that the acts and modules referred to are not necessarily required by the invention.
In the foregoing embodiments, the descriptions of the respective embodiments have respective emphasis, and for parts that are not described in detail in a certain embodiment, reference may be made to related descriptions of other embodiments.
In the embodiments provided in the present application, it should be understood that the disclosed apparatus may be implemented in other manners. For example, the above-described embodiments of the apparatus are merely illustrative, and for example, the division of the units is only one type of division of logical functions, and there may be other divisions when actually implementing, for example, a plurality of units or components may be combined or may be integrated into another system, or some features may be omitted, or not implemented. In addition, the shown or discussed mutual coupling or direct coupling or communication connection may be an indirect coupling or communication connection of some interfaces, devices or units, and may be an electric or other form.
The units described as separate parts may or may not be physically separate, and parts displayed as units may or may not be physical units, may be located in one place, or may be distributed on a plurality of network units. Some or all of the units can be selected according to actual needs to achieve the purpose of the solution of the embodiment.
In addition, functional units in the embodiments of the present invention may be integrated into one processing unit, or each unit may exist alone physically, or two or more units are integrated into one unit. The integrated unit can be realized in a form of hardware, and can also be realized in a form of a software functional unit.
The integrated unit, if implemented in the form of a software functional unit and sold or used as a stand-alone product, may be stored in a computer readable storage medium. Based on such understanding, the technical solution of the present invention may be embodied in the form of a software product, which is stored in a storage medium and includes instructions for causing a computer device (which may be a personal computer, a server, or a network device) to execute all or part of the steps of the method according to the embodiments of the present invention. And the aforementioned storage medium includes: a U-disk, a Read-Only Memory (ROM), a Random Access Memory (RAM), a removable hard disk, a magnetic or optical disk, and other various media capable of storing program codes.

Claims (9)

1. A method for application icon management, the method comprising:
receiving a combination instruction for combining application icons on a desktop of a terminal, wherein the application icons at least comprise a first application icon and a second application icon, the second application is a split application of the first application, and the split application is a split application which is used for performing application double opening on an original application and has the same functions as the original application and does not influence each other;
combining the first application icon and the second application icon into a combined icon, wherein a display area corresponding to the combined icon at least comprises a first area and a second area, the first area is used for displaying the first application icon, the second area is used for displaying the second application icon, the first area and the second area respectively account for one half of the combined icon, and the arrangement mode of the first area and the second area in the combined icon is a diagonal arrangement mode or other arrangement modes set by a user in a self-defined mode;
displaying the combined icon on a desktop of the terminal;
the combining the first application icon and the second application icon into a combined icon comprises:
scaling the first application icon and the second application icon correspondingly;
and placing and displaying the processed first application icon in the first area, and placing and displaying the processed second application icon in the second area.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein a first application corresponding to the first application icon and a second application corresponding to the second application icon are the same type of application.
3. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
judging whether the first area or the second area is touched by a user;
if the user touches the first area, opening a first application corresponding to the first application icon in the first area; and if the user touches the second area, opening a second application corresponding to the second application icon in the second area.
4. A method according to any of claims 1-3, characterized in that the method further comprises:
receiving a disassembling instruction for disassembling the combined icon;
and performing corresponding disassembling processing on the combined icon according to the instruction of the disassembling instruction, and restoring and displaying the first application icon and the second application icon on the desktop of the terminal.
5. An apparatus for application icon management, the apparatus comprising:
the terminal comprises a receiving module, a processing module and a display module, wherein the receiving module is used for receiving a combination instruction for combining application icons on a desktop of the terminal, the application icons at least comprise a first application icon and a second application icon, the second application is a split application of the first application, and the split application is a split application which is used for performing application double opening on an original application and has the same function as the original application and does not influence each other;
the combined module is used for combining the first application icon and the second application icon into a combined icon, wherein a display area corresponding to the combined icon at least comprises a first area and a second area, the first area is used for displaying the first application icon, the second area is used for displaying the second application icon, the first area and the second area respectively account for one half of the combined icon, and the arrangement mode of the first area and the second area in the combined icon is a diagonal arrangement mode or other arrangement modes set by a user in a self-defined mode;
the display module is used for displaying the combined icon on a desktop of the terminal;
the combination module is specifically configured to:
scaling the first application icon and the second application icon correspondingly;
and placing and displaying the processed first application icon in the first area, and placing and displaying the processed second application icon in the second area.
6. The apparatus of claim 5, wherein a first application corresponding to the first application icon and a second application corresponding to the second application icon are the same type of application.
7. The apparatus of claim 5, wherein the apparatus further comprises:
the judging module is used for judging whether the first area or the second area is touched by a user;
the processing module is used for opening a first application corresponding to the first application icon in the first area when the judging module judges that the first area is touched by the user; and when the judging module judges that the user touches the second area, opening a second application corresponding to the second application icon in the second area.
8. The apparatus of any one of claims 5-7, further comprising:
the receiving module is also used for receiving a disassembling instruction for disassembling the combined icon;
and the disassembling module is used for performing corresponding disassembling treatment on the combined icon according to the instruction of the disassembling instruction, and restoring and displaying the first application icon and the second application icon on the desktop of the terminal.
9. A terminal characterized in that it comprises means for application icon management according to any of claims 5 to 8.
