Description

Method and equipment for deleting GR function
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of data network communications, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for deleting a GR function.
Background
Multi-protocol Label Switching (MPLS) is a mainstream technology in the field of current data network communication, and is originally proposed to improve the forwarding speed of a packet according to the principle of Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) cell Switching. A Label Distribution Protocol (LDP) is one of MPLS signaling protocols, and is responsible for operations such as FEC generation and maintenance, Label allocation, and LSP establishment and maintenance. RFC5036 (the LDP protocol behavior standard) describes the protocol behavior of LDP, which generates corresponding FEC and allocates labels by mapping routing information, and advertises Label-forming LSPs by establishing LDP sessions between LSRs (Label Switched routers, generally referring to devices supporting Label switching, such as routers, switches, etc., on which a Label signaling protocol such as LDP runs), thereby implementing Label switching of data packets on a network.
With the increasing requirements for network reliability, it is necessary to ensure continuous traffic in the event of a device failure or restart. The Graceful Restart (Graceful Restart) technique is introduced to LDP, and RFC3478 (the LDP GR mechanism standard) describes the LDP GR mechanism, where GR is session based, a Restart device acts as a Restart party role (Restart), and its neighbors act as assist parties (helpers), and the role of a device is not fixed.
However, the Session-based GR function needs both parties to negotiate GR capability and GR Time parameters in the Session establishment process, and according to the description of RFC3478, an optional parameter Fault Tolerant (FT) Session TLV is carried in the LDP initialization message, where an L flag bit is 1 to indicate that GR capability is supported, and the carried two parameters, FT Reconnect Timeout and Recovery Time, are used to negotiate two timer values of the GR process. Therefore, after the session is established, the GR capability on the session is not affected by the operation of the local GR function of the LSR.
In practical applications, the support of the GR by the LSR may be cancelled because the local device capability (e.g., the support capability of the small device for label forwarding) needs to be changed, so that there is a contradiction, and if the local GR support needs to be immediately applied to the session, the session must be restarted, which may cause interruption of the existing service on the session.

Detailed Description
It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a system architecture diagram of GR application networking provided in the prior art.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 1, each node in the MPLS domain enables GR. Before the P1 node is restarted, the traffic trend is CE1- > PE1- > P1- > P2- > PE2- > CE 2. After the node P1 is restarted, the node P1 enters a GR Retarter role, the forwarding table entry is temporarily maintained, the adjacent LDP neighbors PE1 and P2 are used as GR auxiliary parties, the forwarding table entry is not updated temporarily, the LSP of the whole MPLS domain does not change, and the flow is still carried out according to CE1- > PE1- > P1- > P2- > PE2- > CE 2. During GR, the session is reestablished between PE1 and P1, between P1 and P2, the labels are exchanged, the PE1, P1 and P2 table entries are recovered, and the whole restarting process does not influence the flow forwarding.
The invention provides a method for deleting a GR function.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a method for deleting a GR function according to a first embodiment of the present invention.
In a first embodiment, the method for deleting the GR function includes:
step 201, locally deleting GR configuration information of GR of the first device and GR information in the LDP session of the first device, when establishing an LDP session with a second device and negotiating a GR function;
specifically, P1 locally receives GR configuration deletion, and processes locally held GR related information. The P1 traverses the local session table to check whether the GR function is used on the session, if the PE1 and P1, P1 and P2 sessions all use the GR function. P1 deletes the GR function on the session, clearing the previously negotiated GR time parameter.
Step 202, sending a notification message to the second device, where the notification message is used to notify the second device to delete GR information in the LDP session of the second device, so that the second device locally deletes GR information in the LDP session according to the notification message.
Preferably, the sending the notification message to the second device includes:
carrying an extended state TLV (threshold value type) of 'deleting GR function' in optional parameters of the LDP notification message, setting U-bit of the extended state TLV to be 1, setting F-bit to be 0, setting E-bit to be 0 and setting F-bit to be 0;
and sending the set notification message to the second device.
Specifically, the P1 sends a "GR function deletion" notification to the PE1 and the P2, where the notification message may be an LDP notification message defined in RFC5036, and an optional parameter of the notification message carries a "GR function deletion" extended status TLV. The U-bit of the TLV structure of the extended state defined by the invention needs to be set to 1, the F-bit needs to be set to 0, the E-bit of the extended state value needs to be set to 0, and the F-bit needs to be set to 0. Through the above operation, the local LSR removal can actually function without session teardown, and the LDP session between LSRs no longer has GR capability.
In the embodiment of the invention, under the condition of establishing an LDP session and negotiating a GR function with second equipment, the GR configuration information of the first equipment and the GR information in the LDP session of the first equipment are deleted locally; and sending a notification message to the second device, where the notification message is used to notify the second device to delete GR information in the LDP session of the second device, so that the second device locally deletes the GR information in the LDP session according to the notification message, thereby implementing that, on the premise of not affecting the LDP session state, after LSR locally deletes the support for GR, the corresponding LDP session that enables GR can be timely disabled.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a method for deleting a GR function according to a second embodiment of the present invention.
In the second embodiment, after step 202, the method further comprises:
step 203, determining whether the GR information of the first device is to be deleted, and if so, deleting a forwarding table entry in a forwarding plane of the first device, where the forwarding table entry is related to the GR information to be deleted.
Specifically, P1 determines whether there is a locally on entry that is undergoing GR aging. When the GR configuration is deleted, if the current equipment is in the role of a restart party, the forwarding table item to be aged exists on the forwarding surface. If in the secondary role, the control plane keeps the FEC label binding information table to be aged.
And if the forwarding table entry is in the role of the restarting party, immediately deleting the binding information of the FEC label, and informing the forwarding plane.
When the P1 equipment is restarted after the GR configuration is deleted, after the control plane of the P1 equipment is restarted, all information of the control plane is cleared, and after the forwarding plane senses that the control plane is restarted, the forwarding table entry is immediately deleted because the GR configuration is deleted, and the ageing is not waited any more.
Through the operation, the local LSR is removed to actually act under the condition that the session is not dismantled, the GR capability is not provided on the LDP session between the LSRs, when the restart occurs, the LSRs of the two parties enter the normal LDP convergence process, and the error smooth restart is avoided, so that the problem that the unnecessary flow forwarding is caused by the maintenance of the unnecessary label forwarding table entry and even the flow black hole is caused when the control plane is restarted is solved.
The invention provides a method for deleting a GR function.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a method for deleting a GR function according to a third embodiment of the present invention.
In a third embodiment, the method for deleting the GR function includes:
step 401, receiving a notification message sent by the first device, where the notification message is used to notify the second device to delete GR information in the LDP session of the second device;
and step 402, deleting GR information in the LDP session of the second device according to the notification message.
Specifically, when the PE1 or P2 receives a notification of "deleting the GR function" sent by the neighbor, the PE1 or P2 checks the session corresponding to the neighbor, and if the GR in the session is enabled, deletes the GR function in the session, and clears the GR time parameter negotiated before.
5, fig. 5 is a flowchart illustrating a method for deleting a GR function according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention.
In the fourth embodiment, after step 402, the method further comprises:
step 403, determining whether the GR information of the second device is to be deleted, if so, deleting FEC label binding information of the second device related to the GR information to be deleted, notifying a forwarding plane of the second device to delete a session entry related to the GR information to be deleted, and closing the GR label recovery timer.
Specifically, whether the session is currently in a GR label recovery stage is checked, and if so, the FEC label binding information to be aged and recovered is deleted, the forwarding plane is notified to delete the entry, and the label recovery timer is closed.
After receiving the notification message of "deleting GR function", PE1 or P2 senses that the session is broken, and after receiving the notification message of "deleting GR function", the session deletes GR capability, and after sensing that the session is broken, the control plane deletes the session, receives FEC label binding information, and notifies the forwarding plane, and the forwarding plane receives the notification of deleting table entries of the control plane, and deletes forwarding entries.
