Description

Execution method and device for HetNet network measurement task
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of wireless communication technologies, and in particular, to a heterogeneous network (HetNet).
Background
MDT (minimization of drive-tests) studied in 3GPP (the 3rd generation partnership project) is a technology for detecting network coverage effectiveness, performing C & C (command and control) optimization, mobility optimization, common channel parameter optimization, and verifying QoS (quality of service) and other network optimization effects. Specifically, through modifying signaling or network management flow, operators can acquire required wireless data according to requirements through terminals residing in the network, so that manual acquisition is replaced, network planning and optimization efficiency is improved, and requirements of network verification and information feedback are met at minimum cost.
The HetNet is a network organization structure based on macro station deployment, and then deploys middle-small stations or wireless access points, and in the practical application process, the number of the middle-small stations or WiFi (wireless-fidelity) APs (access points) may be very large in a hot spot area, the networking topology may be very flexible and complex, and the dynamic change is frequent.
Because the MDT needs to collect a large amount of wireless data of the user equipment under the base station, the data occupies a large amount of storage space of the base station and processing resources of a Central Processing Unit (CPU), and excessive MDT data concentrated on the base station may cause excessive occupation of the base station resources, thereby affecting normal service capability. However, the measurement and tracking tasks such as tracking task or RLF (radio link failure) also have the above problems, and therefore how to control the data amount fed back by the measurement and tracking tasks is an urgent problem to be solved.

Based on the architecture, the present invention provides the following embodiments to solve the technical problem of how to control the data amount fed back by the measurement task, which may involve any one of the three tasks of the minimization of drive test task, the tracking task and the RLF task, but the embodiments of the present invention are not limited thereto.
The general flow of activation and response of the above three tasks is similar, and the flow is described as follows:
the network management issues an activation command of a measurement task to the specified network element equipment, and after receiving the activation command, the network element equipment executes the measurement task according to the configuration information given by the activation command, and finally reports to a tracking measurement collection entity (TCE) by the network element equipment. The TCE may be in the network management or may be an independent entity.
In the execution process of the tracking measurement task, in order to control the number of the objects to be measured and the data amount reported by the objects to be measured, the invention provides parameters different from the prior art for the configuration information in the activation command, so that the network element equipment can find proper user equipment according to the parameters provided by the invention to perform signaling tracking or measurement on the network element, and simultaneously, the user equipment reports the measured data to the network element according to specified conditions or intervals.
Here, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for executing a HetNet network measurement task, where the method is executed by the network element device or the user equipment, and is used to describe a method for setting and using configuration information parameters provided by the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, the method includes:
101. and acquiring task configuration information of the HetNet network measurement task.
The task configuration information comprises any one or more of an activation task type, a task target type, a special target, a task target scale upper limit and measurement reporting parameter.

The accessory device of the user equipment may be understood as other user equipment connected to the network through the user equipment (for example, using a device-to-device communication method), or other user equipment managed by the user equipment (for example, a home appliance managed by the user equipment accessing the base station).
103. And reporting a task result obtained after the HetNet network measurement task is executed.
Since the upper limit of the task target scale and the measurement report parameter in the task configuration information can also be used to limit the size of the reported data volume of the task result (as will be explained in detail in the following section), except that the measurement tracking task is executed according to the task configuration information, if the task configuration information includes the upper limit of the task target scale and the measurement report parameter, the task result is reported according to the obtained task configuration information, otherwise, if the task configuration information does not include the above two parameters, the task result is reported according to the general setting.
If the step is realized by the user equipment, the user equipment is required to report the task result to the network element equipment, and the task result is forwarded to the network manager by the network element equipment; and if the task is realized by the network element equipment, the network element equipment directly reports the task result to the network manager.

Wherein the task object types presented herein are consistent with the previous description.
The upper limit of the task target number is used to limit the number of the network element devices or the user devices that need to execute the task, that is, only a certain number of network element devices or a certain number of user devices are needed to execute the task or report the task result, but not all the devices need to do so. The specific number is specified by a parameter of the upper limit of the target scale of the task.
Meanwhile, the upper limit of the task target quantity may also be used to limit the size of the data volume of the report result, that is, in the process of reporting to the network element device by the user equipment or reporting to the network management by the network element device, if the reported data volume is large, only a part of the content needs to be reported, and not all the content needs to be reported. The specific number is specified by a parameter of the upper limit of the target scale of the task.
The point to be explained about the setting of the upper limit of the task target number is: and if the task target type is not included in the target scale upper limit, the originally specified task target of the HetNet network measurement task is used by default. It may be understood as following a task goal specified in a previous task execution, or the system setting defaults to a task goal requiring measurement tracking.
The measurement reporting parameters include: 1. the task target type; 2. triggering a reported special event; 3. an exception event; 4. a threshold for data anomalies; 5. and one or more of five parameters of upper limit and/or lower limit of data quantity reported is triggered.
Wherein the task object types presented herein are consistent with the previous description. The thresholds for triggering the reported special event, abnormal event and data abnormality are generally set by the network manager, for example, the running parameters are abnormal, and the process to be run is suddenly terminated. The upper limit and/or the lower limit of the data volume triggering the report are similar to the upper limit of the task target quantity, and are used for limiting the size of the data report volume.
