For example, the playing time of the alarm clock sound effect is selected to be 30 s.
Next, in step S4, the sound effect setting means transmits the obtained sound effect setting information of the at least one application to the network.
According to the first example of the present invention, in step S3, the sound effect setting device obtains the sound effect setting operation of the current user _1 on the instant messaging application app _1 in the user device Dev _1, and determines that the sound effect setting information of the current user _1 on the instant messaging application app _1 is as shown in the following table 1:
TABLE 1

Moreover, the user device Dev _2 queries the sound effect setting information of the application app _1 corresponding to the user _1 from the network device, and obtains the sound effect setting information uploaded by the user device Dev _1 as shown in table 1, and then the user device Dev _2 compares the table 1 with the table 2 to determine that the two are inconsistent, and determines that the sound effect setting information of the app _1 needs to be updated, that is, the application app _1 is a candidate application of the sound effect setting to be updated.
Next, in step S2, when there is a candidate application for which the sound effect setting is to be updated, the sound effect setting means updates the current sound effect setting information of the candidate application based on the obtained sound effect update information corresponding to the candidate application.
Wherein, the sound effect update information comprises sound effect setting information corresponding to the application stored in the network equipment.
