11. The method according to claim 10, characterized in that the storage in the computer is carried out with simultaneous reading of a location of the measurement location, so that later data can be added to previously stored data of the same measurement location.
The present invention relates to a device for measuring deformations in an excavation area in civil engineering structures according to the preamble of independent claim 1, and to a method for operating the same according to the preamble of independent claim 10.
Geometric measurements can be used to create a differentiated observation of the mountain behavior when cavities erupt. First of all, the assumptions of rock parameters for dimensioning the cavity expansion can be checked and then the behavior of the grown soil depending on the tunneling and expansion measures with regard to an optimal construction can be determined by means of ongoing control measurements. One of these measurements relates to the measurement of the deformation of the excavation area with extensometers, in which an anchor is fixed in a borehole up to 20 m deep and possibly even deeper, in order then to change the distance between an extensometer head mounted on the cavity wall over a longer period in quasi-periodic form and measure the anchor.
For this measurement, a man must read a measuring device, such as a mechanical or electrical depth measuring probe for each measuring head, and read the measured value on the measuring device. As long as there are measurements in the area of the parament; these measurements are not associated with any major difficulties. However, if it is only a matter of measurements in the fighter area and especially in the ridge, at heights of up to around 10 meters, where the readings have to be carried out during normal construction, acrobatic ladder exercises are often necessary.
In addition, disruptions to the excavation work due to the necessary precautions for the readings in the drive area are not estimated.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a device with which deformations in breakout areas are periodically measured automatically and stored for a certain time in order to read all the data in this period at once. In addition, the measuring head and the measuring device should be designed in such a way that they can also be left in the excavation area and the risk of damage even in the event of blasting is low. In addition, the insertion should be simple and can also be carried out by inexperienced personnel.
According to the invention this is achieved with a device according to the features in the characterizing part of independent claim 1. A method for operating the device is characterized by the features of independent claim 10.
An embodiment of the invention is described below. The drawing shows:
1 shows a cross section through a cavity structure with two displacement measuring devices of the device according to the invention and a schematically illustrated arrangement for evaluating the results,
Fig. 2 is a schematic representation of a measuring device for use in a device according to the invention, and
Fig. 3 is a schematic representation of the transmitter part of FIG. 2 with the coupling arrangement with the armature.
1 can be a tunnel, a tunnel or a cavern. In the radial direction, two anchors 2, 3 are inserted into bores and fixed to the respective borehole end 5, for example by pressing the anchor rod into the mortar previously inserted into the borehole end. As can be seen from the drawing, a measuring head 6, 7 in the form of a cylindrical tube piece with a bottom outside is inserted flush with the excavation surface of the cavity structure. The length of the anchor depends on the geological conditions or the measuring sections of interest and can be up to 20 m longer. The borehole usually has one
Diameter up to about 40 mm and the extension for the measuring head is in the order of 100 mm and preferably has a depth of about 400 mm.
The measuring head 6, 7 has an opening in the bottom for the passage of the anchor or an anchor connection to the measuring device.
2 consists of a transmitter part 30 and a registration part 20, both of which are connected to one another via a plug connection part 40. The transmitter part 30 comprises a multi-turn potentiometer 31, with a measuring sensor 32 and a code transmitter 33, for determining an identification. For example, this code transmitter 33 can be formed by electrically conductively connected plug pins, in such a way that a specific binary sequence of numbers is formed by the connection pattern.
The coupling of the transmitter part 30 to the armature 50 is shown in FIG. 3. Of course, both the measuring head 51 and the coupling means are only shown schematically in terms of their function.
The measuring head 51 is a tube with a bottom 52 and a central bore 53 in the bottom 52 for the passage of the armature 50 or the armature coupling. At a distance from the floor 52 there is a support 54 in the tube for the transmitter part 30 of the measuring device. The encoder part 30 consists essentially of the potentiometer 31 mentioned with a thread take-up spool 32 and a spiral spring 34 for rotating the potentiometer grinder until the resistance is in the initial position. A supply of a thread 55 is wound on the thread take-up spool 32. At the free end of the thread 55 there is a permanent magnet 56 which is firmly connected to the thread 55. The permanent magnet 56 is surrounded by a holding sleeve 58. At the bottom 35 of the transmitter part 30 there is a central passage 36 and a sleeve 37 is also attached to the bottom 35.
A coil spring 57 is fastened to the sleeve 37, inside which the permanent magnet 56 can slide out by means of the holding sleeve 58.
When inserting the measuring device 10 into the measuring head 51, it is therefore not necessary to ensure that the armature 50 is connected to the potentiometer 31, but this connection is effected automatically by the permanent magnet 56 which is attracted to the armature 50 and remains adhering to it. The potentiometer is adjusted in the stretched state of the coil spring 57 before installation by an amount of approximately 1/5 of the total angle of rotation. If the armature 50 now protrudes further into the measuring head 51 than drawn, the spring 57 is compressed and the slider of the potentiometer 31 is rotated against the zero position under the pretension of the spiral spring 34. The same of course also happens when the movement of the breakout surface is against the anchor.
In the normal case, however, the breakout surface moves away from the fixing point 4.5 of the armature 2, 3 toward the cavity 1, so that the thread 55 is unwound and the wiper of the potentiometer 31 is moved towards the other end of the resistor.
The registration part 20 comprises an analog / digital converter 21, the data outputs of which are connected to a random access memory 22 for parallel transmission of the code words, a computer 23, a clock generator 24 and an autonomous power supply 25, e.g. an accumulator.
The mode of operation is known to every person skilled in electronic data processing from the arrangement of the existing modules. The following briefly recapitulates:
A voltage generated by a continuously variable voltage divider, the potentiometer 31, and a code feature for a binary number are passed from the transmitter part 30 from the code transmitter 33 via the connector part 40 to the analog / digital converter 21. Here, the voltage range is measured quantized, and the corresponding quantization units are entered as a code word in the memory 22 and changed in accordance with the change in the resistance. Periodically at time intervals, which are determined by the clock generator 24, the memory 22 is queried with the computer 23 and the stored value is stored in the computer at different storage locations.
After the time determined by the capacity has elapsed, the registration part 20 is removed and connected to a desktop computer 60 (FIG. 1) via an adapter 61. In the data display part of the desktop computer, the temporal course of the deformations in the rock can be represented graphically in accordance with the stored data in the registration part 20 and, if need be, stored in a tape or floppy disk storage and can also be represented in an x-y drawing 63.
By designating the registration part 20 by means of the code transmitter 33, no confusion can take place, since a new registration part 20 is designated as a replacement for the registration part filled with data with exactly the same code word, no confusion can take place later.
A test arrangement in which a three-turn potentiometer with 75 kQ was used as potentiometer 31 was able to cover a measuring range between -SO mm and + 200 mm with a resolution of 2 - 10-4 of the measuring range. With a battery capacity of 7 Ah, a measurement period of 30 days could be achieved. A 12-bit analog / digital converter from BURR-BROWN in the CMOS version was used in the registration part 20 and the CPU 1802 from RCA was used as the computer 23. This allowed 500 readings per measurement period.
The programmable time base of the clock generator 24 allows the time base to be e.g. is changed logarithmically and first readings are carried out in rapid succession and later in larger time intervals.
Even in the area of tunneling, the work does not have to be disturbed by frequently measuring the displacement, in that no ladders or racks have to be set up and taken down.
