Injection ampoule The present additional invention relates to a further advantageous embodiment of the injection ampoule according to the main patent.
1 of the accompanying drawing shows a vertical section of an embodiment of the injection ampoule according to the invention, while FIG. 2 shows a similar section through the rear part of the ampoule after the injection process has been initiated.
The ampoule according to FIGS. 1 and 2 corresponds to its general structure be the embodiments described in the main patent and also has a cartridge-shaped metal sleeve 40, which is slidably arranged on an ampoule body made of a plastic, but made of plastic for reasons of injection technology which is denoted by the rear part with 41 and 42 in front of particular part. This ampoule body again forms a guide for a piston 43 which has an axial bore through which the support shaft 44 of the injection needle 45, which is hollow at its front end part and is provided there with an access opening 44a, extends.
The rear part 41 of the ampoule body, the rear end part of which is slightly offset in diameter and has three longitudinal slots 41a, is of particular design. This rear end part is also provided with an inwardly vorsprin ing, hollow cylindrical guide part 41b on which a compression spring 46 is arranged.
In this guide part 41b engages from the inner end of a Zap fenkkörpers 47, which is provided at its inner end with a plate 47a on which the compression spring 46 is supported with its corresponding end. This pin body 47 is provided at its rear end with two anchored hook springs 48, the hook parts of the guide member 41b in engagement with the rearmost, remote end portion of the support shaft 44 of the needle 45 is held, as shown in FIG.
A disk-shaped locking member 49 rests on the plate 47a, which, similar to the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 of the main patent, has rearwardly directed spring legs 49a with locking lugs 49b formed at the ends. In the position of the ampoule ready for injection shown in FIG. 1, these lugs 49b grip over the base part of the slots 41a and thus hold the compression spring 46 in its tensioned position.
To carry out an injection with the ampoule according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the procedure is similar to that described in the main patent. The am pulle, starting from the state position shown in Fig. 1, placed with its front end on the body part to be injected, whereupon with the thumb of the hand in question, pressure is exerted on the rear part of the metal sleeve 40, which is initially from a between the bottom of this sleeve and the rear, conically offset end of the ampoule body part 41 provided spring 50 is received.
The metal sleeve 40 is pushed in front of the ampoule body to a small extent, with the result that inner cams 40a formed by indentations in the sleeve wall detach the securing lugs 49b of the spring legs 49a, so that the tensioned compression spring 46 now turns Effect arrives and the pin body 47 advances jerkily.
The hook springs 48 act in relation to the needle carrier shaft 44 as a driver, so that the sudden puncture of the needle 45 takes place in the body part concerned. With the exit of the hook springs 48 from the front end of the guide part 41b, thanks to their inherent resilience, they have assumed the spread position shown in FIG. 2, in which the coupling connection with the rear end of the support shaft is canceled.
A further displacement of the support shaft 44, the access opening 44a of which has been exposed because it has undergone a relative displacement with respect to the piston 43, no longer takes place. The needle 45 has for its part reached the medically determined penetration depth. The compression spring 46 now acts with its remaining tension force directly on the piston 43, which ejects the injection fluid through the hollow needle 45.
The advantage of this ampoule compared to the exemplary embodiments of the main patent is that both the puncture of the needle and the immediate subsequent injection of the liquid through the needle is carried out by spring action, by means of one and the same compression spring, the greatest tension force for the sudden Puncture and the rest of the clamping force is used to expel the liquid.
