Fig. 7 eine weitere Variante der Verbindung.
Detachable connection between two elements
Closure constructions for connecting elements which produce a firm closure without additional closure elements are already known. The classic example of this is the bayonet lock.
Such closures or connections are complicated in their construction and in their application.
The present invention now aims to provide a releasable connection between two elements for various objects, the parts of which should be able to move freely, such as. B. a bottle and its lid, or a container and its closure, or the two fit into one another, the end parts of a belt, collar, pulling element or machine element.
The detachable connection of two elements according to the invention is characterized in that one of the two elements has an undercut groove and the other has a tongue, the interacting arberts surfaces of which form mutually torn surfaces of rotation that can be rotated with respect to one another until they rest on one another with a self-locking sliding fit. The whole thing is such that, to close the connection, the elements can be joined together in the direction of the longitudinal axis so that the tongue comes to rest in the groove and the elements can then be mutually rotated so that the tongue engages behind the groove.
The detachable connection according to the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing; shown in various exemplary embodiments. It shows:
1 shows the releasable connection on a bottle with its lid in a front view,
2 shows this bottle with the cap lifted off,
3 shows a side view of the closed bottle,
4 shows a top view of the same with the closure lid lifted off, this is indicated by dash-dotted lines in the position in which it can be joined to the bottle in the direction of the longitudinal axis II so that the tongue comes to rest in the groove, whereupon the elements can be mutually rotated ,
5 shows the connection to two longitudinal elements to be connected, such as a belt, a collar, a tension member or a machine element,
Fig.
6 a different design of the connection with lower shoulder,
7 shows a further variant of the connection.
The releasable connection according to FIGS. 1 to 4 is used to close a bottle, for. B. a perfume bottle that is carried in a woman's handbag, the bottle forming one and the lid forming the other connecting element. 1 is the bottle and 2 is the cap, which when put together, complement each other and form a prism. One connecting part has a tongue 3 and the other connecting part has a groove 4 which is undercut. The tongue 3 and the groove 4 are matched to one another in terms of shape and size.
The longitudinal sides 5, 6 do not run parallel to the longitudinal axis 1-1 of the elements or the bottle, but are dovetail-like or wedge-like and form matching and uniformly extending surfaces of rotation that serve as counter-friction working surfaces 7, 8, which can be rotated relative to one another until they lie on top of one another with a self-locking sliding fit. When the connection is closed, the broad end of the wedge-like tongue 3 faces away from the parting line 9 of the connecting elements 1, 2. One connecting element also has a round pin 10 located in the axis of rotation I-I for guiding and centering when closing the connection, which round pin 10 can be inserted into a corresponding pin hole 11 of the other connecting element.
The pouring opening 12 of the bottle is located in the round pin 10.
As shown in FIG. 4, one connecting element 2 is attached in a twisted manner to the other connecting element 1, in that the round pin 10 is inserted into the pin hole 11. The parts 1 and 2 are then rotated mutually around the axis I-I until the surfaces 7, 8 rubbing against one another lie on top of one another with a slight pressure as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3.
The connecting elements 1 and 2 are then secured to one another against longitudinal tension and transverse pressure, since the tongue 3 engages behind the groove 4. A liquid seal can also be installed in the mortise 11.
The wedge-like connection according to FIG. 5 is located, for example, on a belt, collar, pulling element or on a machine element, which objects are all more or less prismatic and flat and have a rectangular or diamond-shaped cross-sectional shape. The thickness is limited by the need to be able to completely separate elements 1 and 2 from one another.
The work surfaces 7, 8 can, according to FIG. 6, have sub-shoulders 13 which withstand high tensile loads. According to FIG. 7, the work surfaces can also have a spherical shape 14.
For this detachable connection, an elastic material is preferably used which offers good resistance to surface wear. Such materials are, for example, laminated wood (plywood), synthetic resins, hardened glass, metals, etc. The connections made from such materials can be arranged on elements which are made from other materials.
The working surfaces 7, 8 of the connection run continuously, since they have no depressions and / or elevations, such as. B. the bayonet lock, for which reason this lock or this connection is suitable for mass production.
In the case of interconnected elements, the connection can only be seen according to FIGS. 1, 5 to 7 at the parting line 9 and the parting lines of the mutually coordinated work surfaces 7, 8.
Provided that the connecting elements 1 and 2 fit one another exactly and the manufacturing materials are sufficiently hard and resistant, experience has shown that the described releasable connection does not open unintentionally and is easy and reliable to use.
