Ski bindings with boots. [Prevent accidents when skiing Yti., Numerous constructions of ski bindings have already been proposed, all of which have the purpose of detaching the boot from the ski as soon as excessive torsional stress occurs.
The subject matter of the present invention now forms a ski binding with a shoe, which can be designed simply and in such a way that a separation between the shoe and S 1 ki when stepping on takes place by considerable toning moments or tensile forces.
The ski binding with boot according to the present invention is characterized in that two separate holding devices are used to hold the sight, which work together in such a way that one holds the heel part of the school boot and the other holds the tip of the sight and one of the holding devices has a detent that can be moved in the direction of the other,
which can be swiveled to the side by a bolt under ('overwind') the adjustable resistance of a locking device to free the eye.
In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of the Eriiiidun, -l-s-Olegenstandes is illustrated. It shows: FIG. 1 the middle part of a ski with a not yet fully attached kn M-1 el boot, seen from the side, FIG. 2, the boot attached to the ski, FIG > 3 a look at Fig. 1. without the S, ehuh,
4 shows parts of the pressure mechanism in longitudinal section, FIG. 5 shows the support plate of the pressure mechanism in a top view, FIG. 6 the same seen from the side.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, a heel flat plate 2 is screwed tight on the ski 1, which is provided with lateral abutment legs 3 which have a tongue 4 that can be gripped under in the direction of the ski tip . A bow-shaped tension spring 5 is also attached to the stops 3 so as to be pivotable with rivets 6 . The plate 2 has slots 7 with countersinks 8 , so that it is screwed onto the ski by means of the screws 9 in different positions, for example three can be.
The plate 2 can also be divided in the middle so that it can be adapted to different heel widths. can. Instead of the slots 7 in the plate 2, such slots or different pairs of holes can also be made in the support plate 26 for different positions in the longitudinal direction. The web 10 is provided with strap eyelets 11 and is intended to be fastened by means of the strap 12 under the shoe sole 13 in front of the heel 14.
This web and the tongues 4 are sometimes desirable, but not necessary and can also be omitted. It is also possible to use only one strap attachment without a bow-shaped spring 5 . The ge named parts form one of two separate retaining devices for the shoe. The other holding device consists of a shoe insert 18 a support plate 16 and a pressing mechanism A, and with their help the front end of the shoe can be placed on the Ski to be held.
The shoe heel can be lifted off the ski while stretching the heel lower. The plate 1.6 , which is also screwed onto the ski 1 with screws 17 , is used for the front part of the shoe sole 13 as an edition. At the front end of the shoe sole 13 a fitting 18 is attached, which has a wave-shaped front surface and between the waves has an indentation 19 which serves as a detent for the pressure head 21.
A press-on hanism A with a displaceable press-on head 21, which is connected to the lever 23 of the knee lever system 22, is used to clamp the shoe S . 23 is connected and can be moved back and forth in a housing 24.
The housing 24 is fastened pivotably around the pin 25 on the support plate 26, which is fastened to the ski, and is locked in place by the adjusting screw 27 28 is inhibited from the pivoting movement, whereby the pressure of the adjusting screw 27 can be changed by tightening or loosening, so that the torsional force required to detach the boot from the ski is adapted to the constitution of the skier can be.
The pressure of the adjusting screw 27 into the detent 28 is caused in the exemplary embodiment by the elasticity of the housing. It can also be done by other resilient means, such as springs or rubber. The circumference of the adjusting screw 27 is provided with a two-way scale,
to which a marking attached to the housing points or vice versa. The adjusting screw 27 is secured against automatic loosening by the flanged edge 30 of the toggle lever 23 or permanently by the counter nut 31 </ B> or by a self-locking nut or a special tendon device.
By pressing down the lever 23 into the position according to FIG. 2, the pressing head 21 is now pressed into the bump 19 of the fitting 18 and the shoe by the distance stand a (Fig. 1, 2) shifted to the right, i.e. to the rear in the drawing, whereby see the spring 5 < / B> spans.
The projection 21a of the pressing head 21 forms a detent which can be displaced in the direction of the heel holding device and which, when the shoe is clamped, engages in the indentation 19 serving as a counter-detent. The protrusion and the indentation form an angle to the upper surface of the ski in the longitudinal section which is smaller than 90 ", so that the protrusion overrides the fitting at the indentation and the shoe sole 13 is pressed down on the ski, but in the event of too strong a pull in the direction perpendicular to the ski, the pull of the spring 5 is overcome and the boot is released upwards.
Before the boot S is fastened onto the ski 1 , the web 10 with the strap 12 can be fastened under the boot, if this additional connection is desired becomes. The boot is then placed on the ski, with the strap 10 of the Schulies S not completely underneath the tongues 4 of the stops 5 as a result of the boot heel hitting the spring 5 B> 3 . When the spring is tensioned by the pressing mechanism, the web 10 itself then comes actively under the tongues 4.
Instead of the indented fitting 18 "in which the projection 21a of the pressure head engages, any other fastening device can of course be used. For example, only a Noeken can be fastened to the front part of the shoe Noeken, the pressure head is over-detected.
In any case, however, the connection between the shoe and the press-on mechanism must be designed in such a way that the shoe cannot be lifted upwards during normal skiing.
The shoe that is stuck onto the ski can be seen in FIG. If there is an excessive twisting effect between the boot and the ski, then the contact pressure mechanism A. rotates around the bolt 25 whereby the screw 27 </ B> from the detent 28 while overcoming (. the resistance of the from the detent 28 and the screw 27 </ B > existing lock is lifted out.
The counter-pressure on the spring 5 is then released and the connection between the boot and ski is released. Since the spring 5 pushes the boot S </ B > in the rubbing - pulls towards the tip of the Sehul, the stem 10 is also pressed out from under the tongues 4.
The described ski binding has the following advantages: a) The torsional moment leading to the separation of the boot from the ski is independent of the change in the heel spring tension when the heel is raised.
b) The torsional moment leading to the separation of the boot from the ski can be changed independently of the diagonal pull.
e) The torsion mechanism leading to the separation of the boot from the ski can be set by the driver in such a way that the binding is triggered when a certain torsion mechanism which becomes dangerous for the break of a leg occurs - leads.
The adjustment does not have to be made by the ski binding engineer, but can be done by qualified workers with a calibrated torsion device, which makes incorrect adjustmentvii impossible.
(1) Firmly tightening the adjusting cap of the sell pivot part changes the binding into a non-releasing ski binding.
\ Vie the embodiment shows, the ski binding is extremely simple in its structure, but offers a guarantee that the connection between shoe and ski is loosened when excessive torsional moments occur.
