Plant for drying respectively. Drying. In the previously known Vorrichtun conditions for drying BEZW. Drying of fruit, herbs, grass, grain, pasta, meat and the like was used to heat the air that is needed to dry the dried and dried material, electric radiators, charcoal, hot water or steam heating.
These devices have the disadvantage that they have a relatively poor efficiency and that the dry goods are not always flawless.
The present invention is a facility for drying BEZW. Drying fruit, herbs, grass, grain, pasta, meat and the like, which no longer has this disadvantage.
This plant for drying respectively. Dehydration of fruit, herbs, grass, grain, dough, meat and the like according to the invention is characterized in that there is an evaporator for a cooling medium as an air dehumidifier and the condenser of the cooling medium as a heating element for warming the dehumidified air serves, which latter circulates in a circuit.
The air circulating in a circuit can be set in motion by means of a ventilator, for example.
Outside the drying system, at least one second, switchable cooling element can be present, which BEZW. wel che to serve as a radiator to deliver the condenser additional calories, if such on the one hand to preheat the system and on the other hand to he increase the air temperature, depending on the dry or. Items to be dried are necessary.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown on the accompanying drawing voltage.
Fig. 1 shows the device in elevation (front wall removed); Fig. 2 shows the scheme of the Gesamtvorrich device.
1 is a box, the front end wall of which has been omitted in FIG. 1, 2 is a vertical partition and 2a is a horizontal partition. The latter is provided with openings. A channel 3 is formed by the partition 2 and the left side wall of the box (see Fig. 1), which is connected to the channel 4 via the partition 2a. 5 is also a horizontally lying partition, which is also provided with openings.
Underneath the same there is a partition 6, which on the left (see Fig. 1) connects to the partition 2 and on the right .not quite leads to the box wall on the right. 7 is the drying room in which the loading container 8 are placed for the items to be dried. 9 is an electric motor that drives the fan 10. 11 is a cooling element, 12 are air baffles and 13 is a heating element (condenser).
14 is an outside half of the box 1 lying cooling element (evaporator), which is used to supply the condenser serving as a radiator additional calories if such on the one hand to preheat the system and on the other hand to increase the air temperature, depending on the dry or . Items to be dried are necessary. The electric motor 15 drives the compressor 16. 17 is a water-cooled condenser. From the collector 19, the liquid coolant goes through the lines 22 and 24 to the thermostatically controlled injection valves 18 and 18 'in the cooling elements 11 respectively. 14. The cold medium evaporated at a temperature of approx. 0 C in the cooling elements 11 and 14 is sucked back through the lines 25, 26 and 27 to the compressor.
From the compressor 16, the compressed hot, gaseous cooling medium is pressed at a temperature of ea. -I- 65 C through the line 20 into the heating element 13 and goes through the line 21 to the water-cooled condenser 17, where the cycle starts again begins.
The operation of the system described is as follows: The heat that is withdrawn from the air with the help of the cooling element 11 is supplied to the left side (see FIG. 1) by the heating element (condenser) 13 of the air, so that a other heat supply is unnecessary. The air thus circulates from the cooling element 11 through the baffles 12 (with water separation) to the heating element 13. The fan drives the air in a closed circuit through duct 3 into duct 4. From here it passes (see arrows drawn) into the drying room 7, where it is distributed over the material to be dried.
The air passes through the perforated wall 5 back down into the space in which the cooling element 11 and the heating element 13 are located. In this cycle, the air saturated with water vapor is cooled down on arrival at the cooling element and the water vapor is condensed. When this air arrives at the heating element 13 (condenser), the air is reheated to the required temperature. From there it reaches this elevated temperature and with a relatively low degree of humidity through channels 3 and 4 again to the dry goods.
This cycle is continuous.
The cooling element 11 and the heating element 13 are, as mentioned above, connected to a cooling unit. The cooling element 11 acts as an evaporator and the heating element 13 as a condenser of a cooling medium, for example Freon (F-12). Thus, you only need an electric motor that operates the cooling unit, and a second elec tric motor 15 that keeps the fan in operation.
The economy of the system lies in the fact that no separate energy-consuming heating element is required for the necessary heat generation, since the element from the cooling respectively. heat absorbed by the refrigerant evaporating therein from the air and from the water vapor through the condenser via the drying and respectively. Air to be dried is fed back into the circulating air. Thus only the power consumption of the motors for the cooling unit and the fan has to be taken into account.
The cooling medium evaporates in the evaporator 11 and is compressed with the aid of the compressor 16 and liquefied in the condenser 13/17 in order to be fed back to the evaporator by the automatic injection valve 18.
