<I>a)</I> Höhenmessacng.
Durch die Konstruktion desi In- istrumentes sind die zwei Grössen M N =_ <B>3</B>0 cm, und<I>P</I> K <I>= z =</I> 6 mm gegeben. Da die zwei Strahlen i' und 7c' parallel sind, erscheint auf der Strecke X Y der Punkt Z ,in einem Abstand<I>X Z = M N =</I> 30 cm vom Punkte X.
I>Y X : V P =</I> 300: 6 = 50 : 1 YX=50.VP.
Zum Beispiel wenn man<I>M N =</I> 50 cm und<I>P K = 5 mm</I> wählt, erhält man ,den Massstab 1 : 100.
Im Dreieck<I>N X Z</I> verhält sich<I>N P zu</I> <I>N X</I> wie<I>P K</I> zu X Z, also wie 1:50.
Im Parallelogramm<I>M Y (Z) N</I> ist Y (Z) gleich<I>M N,</I> also gleich 30 cm.
In den ähn lichen Dreiecken N Y (Z) und<I>N (P) (K)</I> besteht die Proportionalität<I>N (P) : N Y</I> = (P) (K) : Y (Z) = 6 : 300 = 1 : 50.
<I>c) Winkelmessungen.</I> Es seien die Win kel ss, y und<I>8</I> des Dreieckes.<I>N X Y</I> (Fig. 3) zu bestimmen.
Field measuring device. The subject of the present invention is a field measuring device in which three rulers provided with aiming devices are arranged on a holding member so as to be pivotable about a common axis of rotation, and in which a slide is provided on one of these aiming rulers, which is provided with a graduation , um: a fixed axis on the slide carries rotatable ruler, the one in one. Having a distance from this axis fixed member.
The field measuring device according to the present invention is characterized in that the ruler carrying the slider is connected to a fourth ruler provided with a target device in such a way that it is always directed parallel to this fourth ruler.
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention and schematically indicated possible uses of the same are shown.
Fig. 1 shows the Feldmessgexät in crack; Fig. 2 is a schematic representation of a height measurement; 3 and 4 show schematically the determination of the determinants of a triangle.
Fig, 1 shows on a simple tripod a holding member in the form of a rotatable about a vertical axis and around the Zap fen b umlegbaxen metal rod c of about 50 cm length with circular vial d for vertical position and simple vial e for horizontal position. A removable arcuate guide f is mounted on the metal rod c, which has a percentage and a degree scale (the latter for angle measurements)
carries and has a guide slot g for the clamping screws h, h ', <I> h "</I>. Furthermore, on the holding member c: three lines are provided with aiming devices designed as thread diupter l <I> k, p, </ I> u and <I> v, </I> hereinafter referred to as target rulers, rotatable and clampable about the common axis of rotation n. At a vertical distance of exactly 30 cm from ruler k, there is a fourth,
with a target device <B> 1 </B> provided ruler i around a. Bolts na rotatable before seen and the two rulers are connected by a vertical stabilizer o so that they always move parallel to each other, so are always directed parallel to each other. The ruler p, which can be locked with the clamping screw h, has a graduation <I> r '</I> with a zero point in <I> n </I> and has a guide groove q, the direction of which coincides with that of the sighting beam.
The ruler k parallel to i is at the same time a running rail for a slide s; A ruler r provided with a graduation can be rotated about an axis fixed on the slide s, which ruler is referred to below as a graduation ruler. At a distance z of, for example, exactly 6 mm from the aforementioned fixed axis, the latter carries a spring-influenced stop designed as a metal pin t, which snaps precisely into the guide q.
The line <I> v </I>, which can be clamped with the screw V, has a division <I> r ", </I> and, similar to ruler p, a guide groove q 'for the pin <I> t. </ I> The graduation ruler <I> r </I> also carries a caliper w with a vernier and has centimeter and millimeter graduation with zero point in the axis of the pin t.
The ratio of the distance z to the distance between the fourth ruler i and the ruler k determines the true-to-scale ratio of a length to be determined and the distance to be read at the division of the ruler r, as will be demonstrated below.
The device also includes an angle rod that can be rotated about the axis n and an auxiliary rod which is arranged so that it can be displaced on the holding member that it always remains perpendicular to the holding member when it is moved. These rods are let in Fig. 1 wegge.
The manner of handling the device shown will now be explained in more detail with reference to FIGS. 2, 3 and 4.
<I> a) </I> Height measurement. It is the height <I> Y X, </I> for example of a tree to be determined. After precise vertical adjustment of the rod c with the help of the level d, one aims at the tree top with the ruler i and clamps it in this position with the screw in. Accordingly, in Fig. 2, the ray i 'from point J1 (axis of rotation of the Li neals i') to point X (tree top).
In this sighting, the ruler is taken along, and because of the vertical rod o it adjusts itself parallel to rod i; it is fixed in its position by means of the clamping screw h 'on the circular arc guide. The sighting axis of this ruler 7c corresponds to the ray k 'in FIG. 2, which the point <I> N </I> (axis of rotation of the ruler <I> k) </I> with the fin gated point Z at the height YZ connects. The target ruler p is then set to the top of the tree and the target ruler v to the foot of the tree.
The rays p 'and v' in FIG. 2 correspond to these two operations. After the rulers <I> p </I> and <I> v </I> with the aid of the screws <I> h '</I> and <I> h "</I> have been clamped, slide the slider s on the ruler k until the pin t snaps into the guide q, where the dividing ruler r moves vertically and, for example, due to its own weight adjusts parallel to c.
This position is shown in Fig. 2, where the point P corresponds to the snapped-in position of the pin t and point g represents the axis of rotation of the ruler r on the slide s. Point V corresponds to the intersection of the vertical axis of the dividing ruler r with the sighting axis of the target ruler v.
Due to the construction of the instrument, the two sizes M N = _ <B> 3 </B> 0 cm, and <I> P </I> K <I> = z = </I> 6 mm are given. Since the two rays i 'and 7c' are parallel, point Z appears on the segment X Y, at a distance <I> X Z = M N = </I> 30 cm from point X.
This distance X Z can be viewed as the one measuring constant and advantageously replaces the comparison or measuring rod that had previously been attached to the tree. The rays <I> p ', k' </I> and v 'form a bundle of rays with a common point of intersection in N.
For. , the two parallel straight lines YX and VP the proportions can be set up: YX: VP = ZX: KP but ZX = NM = 300mm andKP = 6mm, consequently: <I> YX: VP = </I> 300: 6 = 50: 1 YX = 50.VP.
That is, the. The height Y X of the object to be measured appears on the scale of the graduation ruler r on a scale of 1:50 and can therefore be read off directly. for example in the middle # ls @ t of the adjustable slider w, if the division has corresponding units.
By correspondingly choosing the sizes <I> M N </I> and <I> P K, </I> resp. z, you can change the scale at will. For example, if you choose <I> M N = </I> 50 cm and <I> P K = 5 mm </I>, you get a scale of 1: 100.
<I> b) Distance measurement. </I> In the triangle X Y <I> N </I> (Fig. 3) are from point N. determine the length of the three sides N X, X Y and <I> Y N, </I> as well as the height X Y '.
First, the holding member c is folded around the Zap fen b into the horizontal position. The device is then set up in such a way that the axis of the pin <I> n </I> falls into the vertical occupied by the point <I> N </I>. The target ruler v is clamped at a right angle to the holding member c and the point. Y sighted (beam). The holding member c is held in this position. Point X is sighted with the aiming ruler i (rays <I> i '</I> and <I> k') </I> and also point X (ray p ') with the ruler p. Similar to the height measurement, you can now measure the height X Y 'des.
The triangle as the distance P V of the scale of the graduation ruler r, which was set parallel to c by means not shown, for example with the help of an adjustable gauge, read on a scale of 1 <B>: 50 </B>.
In the triangle <I> N X Z </I> <I> N P to </I> <I> N X </I> is like <I> P K </I> to X Z, i.e. like 1:50. The distance <I> N P, </I> which can be read on the scale <I> r '</I>, is the length of the side N X of the triangle reduced to 1:50. For similar reasons, the distance <I> N </I> V, which can be read on the scale r ", is equal to the length of the distance N Y 'reduced to 1:50. To measure the distance NY, one rotates around the angle J the two parallel rulers i and k until the ruler i lies in the visor JI Y.
A parallel to <B> 11 </B> N, drawn from point Y, would cut out the fictitious point (Z) on the sighting beam (k '). The slide <I> s </I> is now moved on the ruler <I> k </I> until the pin t snaps into the guide q 'of the ruler v, the dividing ruler r being set parallel to c a again becomes. The points (P) and (K) shown in FIG. 3 are thus obtained, the distance (P) (K) being 6 mm. The segment (P) (K) should also be parallel <I> to M N </I>. In the parallelogram <I> M Y (Z) N </I>, Y (Z) is equal to <I> M N, </I> therefore equal to 30 cm.
In the similar triangles NY (Z) and <I> N (P) (K) </I> there is the proportionality <I> N (P): NY </I> = (P) (K): Y ( Z) = 6: 300 = 1:50. The distance N (P) is therefore equal to the distance <I> NY </I> on a scale of 1:50.
The triangles NXY and <I> NP (P) </I> are also similar, since the sides <I> NX </I> and <I> NP </I> on the one hand and <I> NY </I> and <I> N (P) </I> on the other hand are proportional to one another and the angle included by these sides is the same. Consequently, the distance P (P) is equal to the distance X Y on a scale of 1:50. This distance can be read on the Z-bar, not shown, which is provided with a graduation for this purpose.
Thus the three sides and the height of the triangle are known. The area can easily be determined from these parameters.
<I> c) Angle measurements. </I> Let the angles ss, y and <I> 8 </I> of the triangle. <I> N X Y </I> (Fig. 3) be determined. For this purpose, the angle bar that can be rotated about the pin n and the auxiliary bar that can be displaced on the holding member c are required. The latter has the same division as the ruler v and constantly forms a right angle with the holding member c. In addition, the <B> 180 '</B> scale on segment f is replaced by a 360 scale.
From Fig. 3 only what is necessary has been transferred to Fig. 4 to the Win angle measurement without burdening the Fi, g. 3 he can clarify. In FIG. 4 the angle rod is represented by <I> y '</I> and the auxiliary rod by <I> x' </I>.
By sighting the points X and Y with the target rulers <I> p </I> and <I> v </I> one has the rays p 'and v' and! with the help of the rulers <I> i </I> and k and the slide s with dividing ruler r, the points P and (P), respectively. the quantities determining these points are determined one after the other on the scales <I> r '</I> and <I> r "</I>. Now, one moves .the auxiliary rod x' until the zero point of the scale is in P. The angle bar y 'is rotated until its point of intersection 0 with the auxiliary bar x' is at a distance from P which is equal to the distance N (P). The angle bar is therefore parallel to connection P (P) and to side X Y.
The three angles of the triangle are now easy to measure. The angle ss is formed by the rays p 'and v'; y is between <I> p '</I> and y' and d between <I> v '</I> and <I> y'., </I> The accuracy of the measurement is easy to control because the The sum of the angles ss + <I> y </I> -f- 8 must be <B> 180 '</B>.
In addition to the possible applications described, other measurements can be taken with this device, such as slope measurements, staking out right angles, staking out curves, etc.
Thanks to its simplicity and versatility, the device shown is intended to provide great services, for example in land registry, forestry, engineering and construction, in the military, etc.
