Abstract
Il est nécessaire d'améliorer les rendements au sein de l'industrie de récupération et d'extraction du bitume et du pétrole lourd. La présente invention concerne une méthode et un système d'intégration d'une opération de récupération sur place du bitume et une opération d'extraction du bitume afin d'améliorer les rendements de ces opérations et les synergies entre elles. La méthode comprend les opérations de base suivantes : obtention d'un liquide de production de l'opération de récupération sur place du bitume, l'acheminement du fluide de production vers l'opération de minage du bitume, et incorporation le liquide de production dans l'opération de minage du bitume. Le système intégré de base comprend un puits de production pour récupérer le fluide de production de l'opération de récupération sur place du bitume, une installation de minage et d'extraction du bitume et un dispositif de transport pour acheminer le liquide de production du puits de production vers l'installation de minage et d'extraction du bitume afin d'incorporer le liquide à l'opération de minage et d'extraction. L'opération de récupération sur place peut consister en une opération thermique, par exemple le drainage par gravité au moyen de la vapeur (DGMV), la stimulation cyclique par vapeur d'eau (CSS) ou une autre méthode dérivée de cette dernière. La méthode et le système intégrés de la présente invention visent la réduction potentielle d'investissement en capitaux, par rapport avec des opérations séparées de récupération sur place et de minage. L'intégration de la méthode et du système de l'invention permet également l'établissement commercial d'opérations de récupération sur place du bitume de moindre envergure.
