Abstract

Méthode d'extraction de l'huile lourde d'une formation. La méthode comprend les étapes suivantes : la sélection d'un solvant de condensation ayant une pression de vapeur élevée à basse température et l'injection du solvant dans la formation. Le solvant est ensuite condensé dans la formation pour fournir une chaleur latente de condensation à l'huile et la libérer. L'huile est ensuite produite, et le solvant est récupéré de cette huile produite. Le solvant récupéré est ensuite traité pour sa réinjection en le chauffant au moyen d'une thermopompe et d'un compresseur. Le solvant récupéré est ensuite réinjecté dans la formation. Selon un aspect préféré, le coefficient thermique de production est supérieur à 1. Un système de récupération d'huile permettant de mener le processus à bien est également décrit.
